Capability Amplifier

Imagine having an invisible team of experts, researchers, marketers, and creatives working 24/7 to build your business…

Without adding a single employee.

That’s exactly what we just did with my new friend and client, Nathaniel Ely, during a Superpower Accelerator three-day intensive.

Nathaniel flew in to work with me personally, and in three days, we created everything he needed to launch a $1 Billion business opportunity around the Augusta Rule – a little-known tax strategy that can put tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars back in the pockets of business owners every year.

Using Ai as a true team member, we built an entire brand from scratch:
  • A full 50+ slide masterclass
  • A pitch deck and marketing funnel
  • Three book drafts
  • Video sales letters
  • Channel marketing campaigns
  • Sizzle reels
  • Automated sales workflows
  • And dozens of other revenue-driving assets
The best part?

We didn’t just "talk" about ideas – we built them in real-time, workshop-style, using agentic Ai tools that did the work of a 5-person team.

If you want to see how Ai can build your brand, amplify your revenue, and compress six months of work into three days, you’re going to love this episode.

Mike Koenigs [00:00:00]:
Hey, it's Mike Koenigs. I'm here today with Nathaniel Ely. We just finished a Superpower accelerator three day experience and we're going to talk to you about AI as a team member. So let me set this up. How you doing?

Nathaniel Ely [00:00:12]:
I'm doing great. All right, how about you?

Mike Koenigs [00:00:16]:
I am ready for dinner at Miguel's and a cocktail.

Nathaniel Ely [00:00:19]:
Oh, man. It's good.

Mike Koenigs [00:00:21]:
So we've been at it for three days and over the course of this, just to set this up, we have built out, and some of that is behind me right now, the Augusta Rule. And I'll actually even switch to it here. So we put together this presentation deck. We have used AI for generating like the initial video sales letter, rough cut, sizzle reel material.

Nathaniel Ely [00:00:49]:
Book draft.

Mike Koenigs [00:00:50]:
Yes, actually there were three books.

Nathaniel Ely [00:00:52]:
Yeah.

Mike Koenigs [00:00:53]:
An enormous amount of content. But from your point of view, how did AI help this process and what was your experience as an onlooker? Because we haven't even talked about that yet.

Nathaniel Ely [00:01:04]:
Yeah. So AI is basically like having, at least in this experience, it was like having a team of grunts in the background kind of just like cranking away. It's like Santa's elves working for us. And also having a, at times a subject matter expert in the room to help reflect back to us, our thoughts and to clarify them. It's certainly not a panacea, but it's an amplifier.

Mike Koenigs [00:01:38]:
Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Nathaniel Ely [00:01:39]:
So I think it amplified right on.

Mike Koenigs [00:01:41]:
And so one of the things. So I'm going back, I was just looking through some of the stuff we've created. So one of the things that we created as a tool to have an initial conversation and we made a lot of progress on the presentation deck. So coming into this, maybe for anyone who doesn't know what the Augusta rule is, we need to make that clear. So why don't you do the one to two minute pitch on what the Augusta rule is and why it's so awesome.

Nathaniel Ely [00:02:06]:
Sure. The Augusta Rule is a little known tax provision that allows people to rent their homes to their business and have tax free income in the process. So when I say little known, there's a lot of people that have never heard of it. And yet inside of financial circles, a lot of tax professionals have heard of it and they're just like, eye roll Augusta rule. Because there's so much misinformation around it. So we created a product that is a done for you service where, you know, you essentially sign up or even better, you get your assistant to sign up, run the program for you. So it Takes zero brain damage, zero distraction, you know, time, effort, money away from your primary focus, in fact, actually gives you more money so that you can amplify what you're doing, take the vacation you want to take, you know, improve the home that you live in, you know, provide something to your family that you always want to provide and are holding back on. Our goal is to put $1 billion back in the pockets of small business owners within five years of launch.

Nathaniel Ely [00:03:06]:
And so we're just using AI to aid in that process of developing clarity and communication and products to be a hero to business owners in that way.

Mike Koenigs [00:03:18]:
Well done. Well done. Very well done. And as you were going through that process, I was thinking, I call it the four quadrants. So AI as a superpower accelerator. So in our case, when we started working together, we did the thousand dollar cup of coffee. I had 80 pages of research that I was able to do on you. And in that first session, you had a couple breakthroughs.

Mike Koenigs [00:03:42]:
We had a deliverable breakthrough that happened because without it, I couldn't have learned about the Augusta Rule. I'd known about it, but I was certainly not. I knew 3% maybe, and we've used it. And I was dangerously stupid at it because we missed out on hundreds of thousand of dollars that will never happen again because of our relationship. Okay.

Nathaniel Ely [00:04:09]:
But so missed out on that because of our relationship.

Mike Koenigs [00:04:12]:
So I missed out on collecting all this money because I hadn't met you sooner.

Nathaniel Ely [00:04:16]:
There we go.

Mike Koenigs [00:04:17]:
There that is. Thanks for the clarification. But my question was for you. What was the first breakthrough with the thousand dollar cup of coffee? And that again, I couldn't have done that without AI.

Nathaniel Ely [00:04:30]:
Sure. The, the, the first and biggest breakthrough was our pricing model. Um, so we've been working on this for many, many months. We've tried different pricing models, different approaches, you know, tried them on people. There were aspects of many of them that people really loved, but we never got the pieces to all click together. And on the thousand dollar cup of coffee you presented to us, you're like, this is how you need to do it. And it was exactly how we needed to do it, exactly how we needed to communicate it and position it right away. It was, it was an incredible value.

Nathaniel Ely [00:04:57]:
That alone.

Mike Koenigs [00:04:57]:
Yeah, yeah. So from there that led. And for you, I'm, I'm telling you this because one of the things that we're going to teach at the AI Accelerator Live event is I'm going to show you my deep research tools that we built that will let you literally mind read your prospects. So you can have a conversation, a sales conversation that's high value immediately. And they're like, what are we going to do next? So Nathaniel's actually here because that was so successful. So I think of AI as your superpower research assistant, doing all this work in the background. And it was so much easier for us to just connect because I didn't have to ask you 60 minutes worth of questions. We got right down to business and it was like value bombs for both of us.

Mike Koenigs [00:05:42]:
And then we really got into the nuance of what you did. Like, I was sold on you within minutes, but I couldn't have been without the tool.

Nathaniel Ely [00:05:51]:
Gotcha.

Mike Koenigs [00:05:51]:
If that makes sense.

Nathaniel Ely [00:05:52]:
I'd say another element there is actually Aaron's intake form. So that allowed y'all to input the information you needed. It gave you the info you needed for the prompts and the AI.

Mike Koenigs [00:06:02]:
Yeah.

Nathaniel Ely [00:06:03]:
So having those good inputs matters a ton.

Mike Koenigs [00:06:05]:
Yes.

Nathaniel Ely [00:06:05]:
And fast forwards that conversation through the AI.

Mike Koenigs [00:06:08]:
Yep. And the AI even gave me a high likelihood of your personality profile. So it estimated your Colby, your disc score, your strengths finder. And I knew you were a quick start. So I knew how to deliver information in a way that you would find most valuable without it being manipulative. Yucky. It was more like I just knew your communication style immediately. Okay, so that leads us to a as your superpower, and then the next big one is your one person marketing team.

Mike Koenigs [00:06:41]:
So by the time we were together, I had drafted at least one book concept. I had this put together. Now, this is later on, but remember our first video sales letter and AI helped write that. We used this tool called Invideo, but it allowed us to have a conversation that normally we would be six or seven hours into our first day working together, and we were there within about 20 minutes.

Nathaniel Ely [00:07:10]:
Yeah, you can at least model it. Even if it's not something that you're going to use, it's a tool to fast forward the collaborative conversation process. Absolutely.

Mike Koenigs [00:07:21]:
So then what happened was by day one, we had already written channel marketing partner campaign drafts of the book that.

Nathaniel Ely [00:07:33]:
I should stop too. The channel marketing campaign, if I Remember right, was 80% good enough from the AI. Like, one of the deliverables came across and I was like, I'm not easily impressed by AI deliverables. They usually are just like, meh. I mean, it fast forwards things. But that one was like, really good.

Mike Koenigs [00:07:50]:
Yeah. Yeah, I'd say so.

Nathaniel Ely [00:07:51]:
Some of the stuff hits right away.

Mike Koenigs [00:07:53]:
And that has literally changed in the past barely a month. I'd say starting three Weeks ago, some of the agentic technology that made this possible occurred. And I told you this when we started. We're already a day, day and a half ahead of where we normally are. And we had made so much progress on the pitch deck, for example, the messaging, and then we had multiple books which we've looked at a bunch of the content. And then also every step of the way we've been training the AI. So in the background we wrote other sales tools. So what are some of the other deliverable experiences that you witness? Because again, the quadrant process is as your superpower, your one person marketing team, which again we created to me months of content in a matter of days.

Mike Koenigs [00:08:49]:
The third phase is increasing the value of your offers and what you have to offer. So what's your experience of that?

Nathaniel Ely [00:08:58]:
Yeah, well, I think the AI actually can help you think through your offers and I think that's one of the things that's overlooked and I don't remember doing that here as a team. You had already presented a lot of that on the coffee, but I messed with that before I came down here with AI literally asking it for a strategy. It was incredibly insightful. So I think there's that aspect in terms of deliverables here. Yeah, we made a whole masterclass. We made a full set of like 50 slides, you know, that are full of facts in the right order telling an incredibly powerful story that are filled with, you know, facts that we've checked and backed up with photographs that we've taken. We'll have video clips in them. We built, like you said, we've got at least one book draft that's usable, maybe a couple others that could be with more work.

Nathaniel Ely [00:09:52]:
We got some funnels started, we filmed intros to channel partners. We've done. I mean, I'm trying to think of. I'm sure there's like three, four, five.

Mike Koenigs [00:10:06]:
Other things we've done. Yeah, stacks and stacks. What we did and got done in three days wasn't possible two weeks ago, two months ago, two years ago without having a lot more bodies thrown at it. So I'm going to go through the, the Quadrants again. So AI is your superpower. That's like insights, value, having research, being able to make faster decisions and have certainty and also the historical precedent. And so then AI is your one person marketing team. That's what I want.

Mike Koenigs [00:10:38]:
Everyone wants it. You know, how do I grow my business with. Without adding more people? The third phase is elevating the value of your offers, which again, couldn't have gotten there without It. The fourth is the agents. So whenever we were working, I usually had multiple agents that were already digested. Every conversation we had done, all the information we produced with your partner, plus you guys gave us lots of stuff, and that helped us make more decisions. But what was your experience? Just seeing the agents running in the background and producing content where you're not just going, prompt a result. Prompt the result.

Nathaniel Ely [00:11:18]:
Yeah. And I think that's the key is either having a lot of the work already set up for yourself and your business or beginning to take the time to do that. For me, it was a new thing. I started doing that in the two weeks coming down here. I set up my own voice, you know, in AI, so now I can deliver things in my voice. I did a whole actual personal health and medical screening and custom results for me, custom supplements. So I think the way I currently think of AI and this may not reflect, you know, what your audience thinks of them or other people's experiences, but my experience is I think of AI as kind of like a 10, 80, 10, where you put in 10%, which is key, because I think some people think, oh, they hear AI. Oh, I can just put this stuff in.

Nathaniel Ely [00:11:59]:
I'm golden. No, you need to put 10% of the work in, which is significant. Like, you have to build things. You have to build models. You have to build them. Well, yeah, and then the AI does the 80%, and then you still have to come back and do significant 10% work at the end. But when you combine all that, you're doing 20% of what it used to take, you know, and that's going to change. Those percentages will vary based on the product and the deliverable, but that's roughly how I perceive it, and it's really profound.

Mike Koenigs [00:12:25]:
Yeah, yeah, no, that's. That's. That's excellent. So I'm going to share something with you right now, which is we have something planned. It's June 2nd and 3rd. You're going to be there, right?

Nathaniel Ely [00:12:39]:
Yep.

Mike Koenigs [00:12:40]:
All right.

Nathaniel Ely [00:12:40]:
I am. I already bought my airplane ticket.

Mike Koenigs [00:12:42]:
All right, good. And you'll be able to meet Nathaniel. And part of the reason why you want to meet him is because I think his service is freaking amazing. I'm so sold on it. Because we haven't been doing the Augusta rule properly. I believe it's cost us hundreds of thousands of dollars. That compounded would be well over seven figures. I will never make that mistake ever again.

Mike Koenigs [00:13:04]:
And they've got the tools and the resources in the system, and it's done for you it's awesome. But now I'm going to talk about us and us. Okay, which is I want to invite you to aaccelerator live. It's June 2nd and 3rd in San Diego at the University Club. Beautiful place, 10 minutes from the airport. And I'm going to show you what it's made of. Because what I just walked you through right now is what the experience is. It's two days.

Mike Koenigs [00:13:28]:
It is a small group workshop environment where a you're gonna be around really cool people like Nathaniel. You'll love the folks who are there. It's all about reducing complexity. The curriculum is on the quadrant. So how to get your AI superpowers using this to expand your capabilities, your research capabilities, without adding more people. Your one person marketing team is session two. So everything's set up workshop style. It's like what you experienced right now, me talking to Nathaniel.

Mike Koenigs [00:13:59]:
But we walk in, we give you a workflow and a tool and the tools and we do something together, workshop style. And we get to talk about it, which is the best way to learn AI. So I want you to come there and there's an option to bring a business partner or an implementer. Everyone requested that, so we said yes. You get two tickets for digital tickets for someone to attend. Right. Remotely if you'd like. I'm gonna tell you what happens on day two and it is.

Mike Koenigs [00:14:30]:
Okay, so session two is your one person marketing team. Session three, increasing your opportunities, the value of your products and services. Session four is on Automations. It's using these agents to automate more of your business. The bottom line is when you walk out of this place, you're gonna know what tools to use, how to simplify your use of AI, what it's really, really good at, what it isn't, you're gonna have exposure to it. My goal is fewer tools that get more done quicker for you without adding more scaling and people. I think that's about it. Oh, there's one other thing.

Mike Koenigs [00:15:05]:
I'm gonna provide a $500 off coupon inside the description copy of this video for you or it's on the screen right now as an incentive. And it's only good for 48 hours. So at a minimum you definitely want to be there. It will be fun, exciting and super engaging and intimate. So I'm going to turn to you. Is there something I should have added that I didn't?

Nathaniel Ely [00:15:31]:
Yeah, there's. There actually is one other thing I thought of. So I've heard of AI for a long time. I've dabbled in it a little bit over that time, even starting pretty much right when it came out. But I didn't really see the effectiveness in it until I spent probably 8 to 12 hours in it. And I think people need to know that. They need to actually invest the time to understand what they don't know about AI before they make a decision one way or the other. And this would be a perfect opportunity to figure that out and see what you're missing.

Mike Koenigs [00:16:01]:
Yeah. And I'd say to me, what I've seen over and over again, at this point, I know I've spoken to about 30,000 business owner founders directly, indirectly, through you, YouTube and stuff like that. It's more. I've surveyed more than 3,000. So we've gathered a lot of data. Everyone's confused about, they're overwhelmed. What to use, when to use it, what are the fewest number of tools, how do you keep up with it? But also, how do I bring it into my business so my team members use it? And it can't come from a dictator. It has to be as a collaborative partner.

Mike Koenigs [00:16:35]:
And that's one of the big takeaways that I want for everyone who comes to this is you got clarity, you've got confidence, you got courage, you. You're committed to using it, you know how and who's gonna do it.

Nathaniel Ely [00:16:45]:
And, well, you need somebody to train you who actually is an expert in it. And that's why I think this is a really valuable product you're offering, Mike, because you're an expert in AI and not just one like you've. You've tried a bunch of them. So you're an expert there and you've trained your team to be experts. So I think you're in a great position to teach others to do that.

Mike Koenigs [00:17:02]:
Oh, thank you. I really appreciate that. I received that gift. Yeah. Thank you. So the next step is yours to take. Go to a accelerator.com live. There's a coupon code.

Mike Koenigs [00:17:15]:
It is a small group environment. I'm not going to overfill it because I want it to be an intimate experience for you. And it's workshop style, so we're keeping it small on purpose. And you'll have a blast. That much, I promise. And like I said, you're going to meet some awesome people. So thank you for watching. Thank you for being here.

Nathaniel Ely [00:17:33]:
My pleasure.

Mike Koenigs [00:17:33]:
All right, and let's say goodbye. See ya.

Nathaniel Ely [00:17:36]:
See ya.
