sports meant the most to me.

like that was my world as an athlete who

who did the thing, who did the sport.

some of my best memories with my dad is

Bulls and watching professional wrestling

And so I struggled for a long time,
middle school, high school,

I had an eating disorder,
really struggled with confidence,

self esteem, all the things.

ended up doing for many, many years.

I found my way back to sport in kind of
an untraditional way.

I became a personal trainer, MM hmm,
coach and did that for a really long time

and was always particularly intrigued by
the mental side of training,

of being physical with our bodies.

that intersection really informed the way

the way that I interacted with my clients.

I had experienced a couple of major

personal losses and was really searching
for a new sense, a new source of joy,

like a little bit lonely.

again, through women's sports, as a fan,

And she knew at the time I had been going
through kind of some stuff and needed
