Welcome to Episode 7 of
My True Ghost Stories.
I have two true stories for you today.
The first is about an old soul
getting a new life on the A Train,
and the second features a spirit
with a penchant for Monty Python.
And here's story number one.
Speaker: This story is called Subway Save.
Usually I am, when I do this work,
I am contacted by somebody who has a
relationship with a specific soul that
they want to deal with or something
is going on in their house or their
apartment and they need my help with it.
, so often it's planned out, but
sometimes I just get random contact
by my guides to assist them.
and it could happen anywhere.
And here is one of those stories which
you may have guessed by the title,
happened on the subway in New York City.
So I was in a train station and it was
very crowded and it was before, now they
have this technology where they have,
uh, if you haven't been to New York
City, or maybe they have this all over
the country, I don't know, but now they
have these Screens that are hanging and
it tells you when the train is coming.
But before we had that, you had
to figure out how the train was
coming and every station had its
own signs that a train was coming.
Sometimes the tracks would click,
some of them there was a breeze
that would come through the tunnel.
Sometimes there would be a
light on the wall that you
could see before the train came.
Sometimes there's like a rumble happening.
And this particular station was one
where you had to watch the tunnel
for light appearing on the tracks.
So I was doing that, watching the
tunnel for light on the tracks,
not standing too close
to the platform edge.
But I was looking into the tunnel, and
while I was looking into the tunnel, I
had this image of a pregnant woman falling
onto the tracks, and then a very clear
message coming from somewhere saying,
protect her.
I turned around, and behind
me, not too close, but behind
me, the next person behind me.
was a pregnant woman standing there
waiting for the same train that I was
waiting for and looking into the tunnel.
I imagine waiting to see
the light on the tracks.
So the train arrived.
I didn't get any further instructions
at that point except protect her.
So I got on the same car as her and I
was actually able to sit right next to
her which was quite a In a crowded subway
train in Manhattan, in New York City.
This wasn't in Manhattan.
I was sitting there
next to this woman, and
I didn't know what to do next.
I got an awareness of my guide.
Speaker: the one that
had given me the message.
This guide was standing in
the center of the subway car.
And he was watching her.
And he was telling me to stay put,
and he was very concerned and focusing
on her belly, her pregnant belly.
So I said, how, I asked
him, how do I protect her?
And he sort of, He acted slightly annoyed.
He was like, just stay there.
Just stay there.
Okay.
Hold on.
Hold on.
I have to do something.
Just stay there.
Just, just keep sitting there.
And as he was doing this, I
have very clear visions of my
guides and what they're doing.
Sometimes he was positioned
with his arms out.
With one hand diagonally up, and then the
other hand pointing towards her belly.
And he was obviously preparing
something, I had no idea what.
And so I just sat there waiting,
doing as I was told, sitting
next to her, staying there.
And suddenly, this beam of
light that only I could see, and
my guide, I guess, could see.
This beam of light, like a meteor,
came from the diagonal position that
he was pointing at with the upward
hand, came like a meteor through,
not through him, but past him.
It's like he was guiding
it and into her belly,
and it was bright, and it was like a Like
a meteor and it was also gray at the same
time and right as this meteor type
thing entered her belly She dropped her
purse onto the floor and it was like
it had been Pushed out of her lap and it
just landed on the ground of the train
So we both reached down at the same
time and I picked it up We both put our
hands on it at the same time and But I
was the one that was able to pick it up.
I picked it up and while we
were sort of leaning over there,
picking up the purse, we made eye
contact, me and the pregnant lady.
And she said, Thank you.
But she said it like she really meant it.
I didn't do it right there.
She said, Thank you, and I
said, you're welcome, but it was
really like, uh, you're welcome?
I'm not really sure what
just happened there.
Something happened with an angel type guy
and your belly and the baby that's there.
I didn't know so I just said
you're welcome, but I know
I sounded a little hesitant.
We sat back up, leaned back
against the seat again, and our
communication sort of stopped.
And then I asked the guide,
silently, I asked him, I said,
Is the baby going to be okay?
And he was standing there, he was looking
at her, he was still quite concerned.
And he said, well, it has a life.
And that was the end of that interaction.
He sort of disappeared and she and
I remained together on the same car.
So I could tell that my part in
whatever that was, was finished.
I got up before her, and it's
sort of a New York City tradition.
Maybe it's a tradition everywhere,
but in New York City, if you have
any kind of slight interaction
with somebody, uh, you honor that.
When you leave, you honor that
mini relationship that you had.
And I said, okay, have a nice day.
And she said, you too.
And that was the end of our interactions.
Speaker: I'm not sure what
happened there, but I do have
some ideas and some theories.
I think she was quite pregnant,
probably maybe six months
entering her third trimester.
That's my guess from how big she was.
And it seemed that this was a soul.
That was being given to her baby,
that was going into her baby.
And I feel like the guide was
concerned because it was late.
It was late in the game.
I really don't have any idea.
But I think that's what happened.
And this light was distinctly gray.
It was gray and shining at the same time.
And the grayness, I believe, represented,
like, gray hair.
Like, it was someone who had, the
soul had been around before, and
so it's like a reincarnation thing.
I really don't know much about all those.
Things?
Reincarnation.
When does the soul go into the baby?
All I know is that, for some
reason, they needed me I am
able to help souls transition.
They needed me to sit next
to this woman while this soul
was transferred into her baby.
And it was a big deal because her purse
flew out of her lap when it happened.
And she looked at me in a way that
I'm sure she didn't consciously know,
but she somehow knew that something
really important had happened there.
I have done some research on
reincarnation, especially after that
experience on the subway, and here
are some of the things that I've
learned, and I've included links to the
articles that I'm going to reference.
The University of Virginia School of
Medicine, Division of Perceptual Studies,
has scientifically documented over 2,
500 cases of children from families
of all religions who have recalled
their previous lives in great detail.
And there are religious beliefs as well.
Tibetan Buddhists believe
that there are six stages of
life and death called bardos,
and the fourth, fifth, and sixth are
during the process of death and rebirth.
They believe that the soul can be held
for up to 49 days during what is the
fifth bardo, the bardo of luminosity.
They believe that after death, your
consciousness passes through this
transitional stage and either takes
rebirth in a new form according to
your karma or attains enlightenment.
A major tenet of Hinduism is reincarnation
and they believe that a soul will complete
this cycle many times learning new things
each time and working through its karma.
The Jains believe that when
a being dies, its soul goes
instantly into its next body.
And Sikhs believe that life is a
cycle of birth, death, and rebirth.
And part of this belief is the
idea of reincarnation, and many
believe that there are over 8.
4 million different possible life forms
that they might have to experience
before they are liberated from this
cycle of birth, death, and rebirth.
So, one of these things is
what happened on that train.
I don't know which.
If it was the instant reincarnation,
if it was the end of the 49 days,
if it was the 8 millionth life of
that grey spirit, I don't know.
But, Obviously, something significant
happened there, and it is probably
happening all the time around us.
And I'm just so grateful that I got
to witness this miracle at least once.
Speaker 2: And here is
today's second story.
Speaker: This story is about one of the
first messages that I ever delivered to
the living from someone who was departed.
And it was recently after I had realized
that I had this calling and that
ghosts or spirits were trying to get my
attention and that I could help them.
So I had just recently come upon this
practice and I was very new at it.
So here's one of the stories of the One
of the first messages I ever delivered.
I was getting a massage.
Which was a big deal for me, to
get a massage to treat myself well.
And, uh, it was a luxurious massage
in a really, really nice place.
And I was getting this massage
and, um , I was chit chatting.
with the massage therapist, a little
bit, , but then I realized I think
I don't want to chit chat too much.
I want to enjoy this massage.
So I was laying there on my back
and I suddenly got this very, very
strong feeling of a tall man kneeling
by the side of the massage table,
yelling into my ear.
And it was very, very distracting and I
was unable to, , focus on the luxury of
my massage and I was very, , focused on
what this spirit was trying to tell me.
And then finally I, I just decided to
stop ignoring the spirit and to listen.
What the man was yelling into
my ear was ask her about Joe.
Ask her about Joe.
I've changed the names, but it
was a different name, but over
and over again, ask her about Joe.
Although I was trying to relax and
enjoy my first massage pretty much
ever, I, this, this spirit was so
insistent and so desperate for me to.
Ask her about Joe.
That finally, I just, and since it
was one of my first messages, I didn't
really have a system for doing that.
Like saying, is it okay for
with you if I give you a message
or I'm getting a message for
you, would you like to hear it?
Um, I didn't have any of
those skills yet and I just
blurted out Joe.
Joe?
Is there someone in your life named Joe?
Um, and so this poor woman was
massaging, you know, a silent client,
who's all of a sudden yelling, Joe,
Joe, do you know someone named Joe?
Or is there someone in
your life named Joe?
And she was crying.
quite baffled and confused
and said like, uh, uh, no.
So since I, I, I did know that I
can't always hear the whole name.
I said, all right, it's, it's a one
syllable name that starts with a J.
And she said, Jim.
And then I consulted the spirit.
Is that it?
Is that the name?
And he responded, yes, Jim.
And so I said, is there
someone in your life named Jim?
I said, , There's a, , spirit here
telling me this, and she was, this
was really freaking the poor woman out
because she, she had not, you know, come
into this room expecting to talk to me.
Be having a conversation
with a departed spirit.
But here she was, , talking to me
about the departed spirit that was
kneeling beside the massage table.
So she started to tell me a story
about this guy that she's been seeing
named Jim, whose brother recently
died, and his brother's name was Kerry.
Again, the name's changed, but
we're gonna say his name was Kerry.
And so, I took that in and I said,
Okay, um, let me listen here.
Let me ask this.
I said, Okay, is it, is, are you?
And he, said to me, Yes, I'm Kerry.
So I said, Okay.
I said, This is Kerry.
And then Kerry told me, Tell
her to tell Jim and My brother.
That
I am in a better place now
and I am OK.
So she said, OK, I will.
, Speaker: and then she told me some
details about what she knew about Jim and
Carrie and their relationship, and she
also gave me some details about Carrie's
recent passing.
She was clearly shaken by this
interaction, which she, was
completely unexpected to her.
And we basically finished the
rest of the massage in silence.
After the massage, I got dressed.
There was some more communication
for me from Carrie, after the
massage therapist had left the room.
And this was a much different
type of communication, much more
friendly and relaxed, and it was
full of, Monty Python references.
Um, Monty Python, for those of you
who don't know, was a hilarious
British sketch comedy, , in the 70s.
It was also a bunch of movies.
These references were from the TV
show, and these messages were for
Jim, not for the massage therapist.
So, I finished dressing, and I went
out into the lobby, and this was such a
fancy, , Massage place that the massage
therapist then meets you in the lobby
with a glass of water and A recap and a
summary of the massage and any, helpful
hints for how to move forward with any
particular problems that you were having.
So she was quite overwhelmed, attempted
to give me , this recap, but she was
really overwhelmed and she asked me
if Jim could call me and I said, yes.
About
a week later.
I got a call from Jim, and he was Very
eager to talk to me, , and he let me
know that it had been very important
for him to know that Kerry is okay
now, and that he had told his parents,
and his parents were so relieved.
And everyone in the family
was really relieved to have
heard this message from Carrie.
But his main question for
me was, why you and why her?
He was referring to the massage therapist.
Why her?
And I answered, well, me,
because he knew I could hear him.
And her, because he He
knew she would tell you.
And so Jim was saying, Oh, so
it was just a practical thing.
Uh, you wouldn't know me
walking down the street.
You wouldn't know who
to give this message to.
So it was, this was
just a practical thing.
And I said, yes, absolutely.
Carrie was just doing what he needed
to do to get this message to you.
And then I said, Carrie also
has another message for you.
He said, okay, what's the message?
And I said, it is, nudge, nudge,
wink, wink, which is a quote
from the Monty Python TV show.
If you don't know this sketch
from Monty Python, I've included
the link in the show notes.
Watch it, it's so funny.
So the message was,
nudge, nudge, wink, wink.
So Jim took this message in and then
there was silence and after a few seconds
there was hysterical laughter from Jim.
Apparently this was some quote
often given by Kerry or some
bit that Jim and Kerry had.
I don't know, he didn't tell me.
So hysterical laughter.
And then I said, and there's also
something about the Lumberjack song.
which is another hilarious
Monty Python skit.
Then there was even more laughter.
Apparently, Cary was a huge Monty
Python fan and he referenced
skits from that show often.
So I feel that after this
conversation, there was a real
feeling of closure to Jim.
Knowing that Kerry still had his
sense of humor and was obviously doing
well, if he could still joke around.
And I also feel that there was closure
to the spirit of Kerry, knowing that
his family knows that he is okay now.
And that's all for today.
