Way number 31 my dear friends way number 31 is Oh have at a Macomb or have at a Macomb is to love God love God we mentioned in the previous way the importance of Via hafta Tasha Malakaha and love Hashem your God You have to go out and seek out What are the ways in which God is bestowing kindness upon us and then you'll feel that love and you'll be able to reciprocate that love It's very important to love God
Commandment in the Torah they have to at the Shema Lokecha every Human being has a longing for the transcendental We all want to be of a level above Take pleasure in the infinite beauty grace power wisdom and meaning of our Creator The more we immerse ourselves in God's world the more we immerse ourselves in the truth And we spoke about this in our emuna trait just last week You spoke about? investigating God's creation the more you see the miracles the
Magnificence in God's creation whether it be the trees whether it be our own bodies. What do you see whether it be? the galaxies the brilliance is just astonishing The more we see it The more enamored we are by Hashem's greatness people shy away from God because they're afraid it will stifle them yet They're ready to climb mountains for the ultimate transcendental pleasure People are ready to climb Mount Everest for that
Excitement of being at the top and right, but they're afraid to connect with the Almighty Creator of heaven and earth People do unbelievable things To avoid connecting with God Put many many layers to run away from it artists think they have it, but there is more God is the real aesthetic experience Look at God's world. You know the greatest most beautiful love note ever Look at a sunset look at a newborn baby. Look at another human being Look at the eyeball It's it's
marvelous the creations of Hashem I'll call Nishima or Nishima our sages tell us in the blessing in the prayers that we say every morning Call Hanisha Mata. Hallelujah. Hallelujah The all of the souls should praise Hashem Hallelujah sing Hashem's praise Says not only all souls every breath of your soul should praise Hashem I'll call Nishima or Nishima on every single breath praise Hashem Love the Almighty for the gifts. He gives you he gives you hands feet the power of speech gives you oxygen
He gives you amazing things amazing amazing gifts, and it's all free. Did you pay for your eyesight? No, right? Did you pay for your the ability to listen to music? No, these are things we got free We have to thank Hashem for that if you feel God's love for you You will love him in return the pleasure of a gift is according to the one who gives it to you Appreciate who God is if your spouse if your parent or if your child gets you a gift
It means so much. It's a stranger. So it's a strange doesn't mean as much someone was close to me They know how important this is to me Wow means so much more The Almighty gives us a gift every moment of life Appreciate who God is It's relatively easy to love God since everything about God is virtuous is good everything very easy look at one day of your life and see the miracles that transpire and It's easy to say wow. I love you. Hashem. Thank you. I
Think it's also important to just say that Put it in our vernacular to always be uttering those words. I love you. Hashem. Thank you Every pleasure you have can be related back to God as the source feel his presence Constantly wherever you go, whatever you do. In fact our sages tell us Every bite of food you eat Every bite of food you eat has a desire to connect to godliness You see food you desire the food, you know what that is to desire for more connection to God
I'll tell you even more I would see I Was a rabbi in yeshiva. We had some guys who came It was an interesting kind of yeshiva the guys who came there were rough guys Came with long hair. They came with earrings. They came with you know, all different shapes and sizes and The guys who looked the roughest were always the easiest You know why because the more earrings they had piercings and everything that they had It showed that they desired God so much more the rough-looking guys
They were looking for God in intense ways and the way it translated was with all of this craziness The minute they got real godliness in their life It that all disappeared and then they were able to connect and it's such an amazing way The best way to attain love of God is to ask continuously what am I living for? What do I want out of my life? Why am I living? Why does God make such a serious investment in each and every one of us?
If you count the days of your life how many days did God give you a morning to wake up in an afternoon and an evening and A bed to sleep in and food to eat breakfast lunch and dinner Unless you desired not to on Yom Kippur and what God just continues to shower us with that goodness showers with goodness The mitzvah yeah hafta at Hashem. You should love Hashem your God invest time in your love of God The ultimate love is God's love
Recognize that you want it and realize that it is there for the taking my dear friends Love God love his place Everything that is around the Almighty for example his study hall love his place where he resides God resides with his peace God resides with his love If there's quarrel God can't be there. You know that the Talmud says If there isn't a peace if there isn't peace if there isn't love God doesn't want to be there
With his strife God wants out. He only wants a place where there's love That concludes way number 31 or Ahavat Hamakom
