We found a crazy news story about how your phone and computer actually work. Trust me, it's more interesting than it sounds!

Emma: Oh nee. Rick heeft weer de hele NOS gelezen.
Sophie: *lacht* En NU.nl ook zeker?
Rick: Ja ja, lach maar. Maar dit is echt bizar.
Emma: Oké, wat dan?
Rick: Zeshonderd politici stapten over naar een andere partij. In de gemeenteraad!
Sophie: Wacht. Zeshonderd?
Rick: Zeshonderd! Nee maar serieus.
Emma: Dat is veel hè?
Rick: Veel?! Dat is waanzinnig veel!
Sophie: Uhm... waarom doen ze dat?
Rick: Tja, goede vraag. Ruzie waarschijnlijk.
Emma: *lacht* Typisch politici.
Rick: Typisch Nederland weer, zeg ik je.
Sophie: Maar goed, politici zijn overal hetzelfde.
Emma: Hmm. Dat is wel waar.
Rick: De comments op NU.nl zijn nog erger. Iedereen is boos.
Sophie: Wanneer is Nederland niet boos online?
Emma: Hahaha! Nooit!
Rick: Precies! Nooit dus.
Sophie: Maar ik snap het wel een beetje.
Emma: Echt? Hoezo?
Sophie: Nou, als jij ruzie hebt met je baas, ga je ook weg toch?
Rick: Ja maar mijn baas maakt geen wetten.
Emma: *lacht* Dat is een goed punt, Rick.
Sophie: Oké oké, dat is anders.
Rick: Zeshonderd mensen, Emma. Zeshonderd!
Emma: Je zegt het steeds opnieuw.
Rick: Want het is bizar!
Sophie: Mm-hmm. Hoeveel politici zijn er dan totaal?
Rick: Eh... veel. Weet ik veel.
Emma: *lacht* Geweldig. Heel nuttig.
Rick: Hé, ik lees het nieuws. Ik tel geen politici.
Sophie: Logisch.
Emma: Maar waarom stappen ze over? Ruzie over wat?
Rick: Van alles. Geld, plannen, persoonlijkheden.
Sophie: Dus gewoon drama.
Rick: Gewoon drama, ja. Precies.
Emma: Net als een soap op tv.
Rick: Ja! Maar dan met belastinggeld.
Sophie: *lacht* Dat is minder grappig.
Emma: Nee, dat klopt.
Rick: Weet je wat ik denk?
Sophie: Vertel.
Rick: Nederland heeft gewoon te veel partijen.
Emma: Hoeveel zijn het er?
Rick: Heel veel. Twintig? Dertig?
Sophie: Dat is inderdaad veel.
Emma: In andere landen zijn het er twee of drie.
Rick: Ja! Simpel en klaar.
Sophie: Maar dan heb je ook minder keuze.
Rick: Hmm. Dat is ook waar.
Emma: Tja, moeilijk.
Rick: De comments zeggen: gooi ze allemaal weg.
Sophie: *lacht* Alle zeshonderd?
Rick: Alle zeshonderd, ja.
Emma: Dat is wel een oplossing.
Rick: Nee joh, dan werkt er niemand meer.
Sophie: Dan wordt het pas echt chaos.
Emma: Meer dan nu?
Rick: *lacht* Goede vraag eigenlijk.
Sophie: Nou ja, het gaat toch gewoon door?
Rick: Wat bedoel je?
Sophie: Die politici stappen over, maar de raad werkt toch nog?
Rick: Ja, dat wel.
Emma: Dus het is eigenlijk niet zo erg?
Rick: Nee, het is gewoon... raar. Typisch Nederland.
Sophie: Mm-hmm. Snap ik.
Emma: Oké, nog koffie?
