[01:00:40] Wayne I was the first person off of the second season of Masked Singer. I was first contestant off of that.
[01:00:50] Craig Carton Yeah, what song did you sing? I'm a singer
[01:00:53] Wayne They only play the song that they show for television, but you sing like three songs.
[01:00:56] Craig Carton Oh, is that right?
[01:00:57] Wayne Yes, I sung like a Skater Boy from, yeah, I think it was like an Avril Lavigne song. I sung a Cyndi Lauper song. Okay. I kept that one.
[01:01:07] Craig Carton Yeah, good
[01:01:07] Wayne Girls just want to have fun. That's the one. It's exactly what I killed it. Yeah, I killed that They don't they just loved the whole choice and everything Lenny Kravitz, I didn't kill that one. I think it was a It was something like like, you know, like to Lenny
[01:01:21] Craig Carton Do you get to pick the songs on that or they tell you what you say?
[01:01:23] Wayne They give you, you know, you give them an array of songs, but they also give you an idea of songs as well.
[01:01:29] Craig Carton Is it frequent that you walk around the house singing Cyndi opera songs?
[01:01:33] Wayne No, that was one of the ideas and I thought it was dope, so I just chose that one.
[01:01:38] Craig Carton I've been trying to get Wayne to rap to It's Rainy Men, but he refuses to do it.
[01:01:43] Wayne Yeah, man, difficult. It's difficult.
[01:01:48] Craig Carton I think we settled on my way, right?
[01:01:49] Wayne Yeah
[01:01:50] Craig Carton Is that the song you're eventually gonna try to do?
[01:01:52] Wayne Yeah, but I thought I had I got an idea for the one that you want. I mean if I could pull it off, then I'm a bad muf*****
[01:01:58] Craig Carton You're gonna do Rainy Man?
[01:01:59] Wayne I ain't say I'm going to do it, Craig. I say I got an idea and if I could pull it off.
[01:02:03] Craig Carton Yeah, but I also know how you work. Once you get an idea.
[01:02:06] Wayne I appreciate that you-
[01:02:08] Craig Carton I know how it works. Joining us now is Owen Hansen going by the nickname, cocaine quarterback.
[01:02:15] Owen Hanson I ended up becoming a bookie. Okay. And I was so good at it. I had Paris Hilton gambling with me. I had professional athletes from my running backs won three Super Bowls who got indicted with me, poor guy, Derek Lavelle. I had MMA fighters, I had closers for World Series teams betting with me I mean, I have the A-list roster in this whale ended up being a lieutenant for the biggest cartel in the world. And I didn't know it at the time, but I just started taking his action. He gave this bookie, this sub bookie an encrypted phone and said, give this to that man, to whoever's the bookie. I want to talk to him. And then finally he goes, how about picking up a million dollars for me in my rival territory? I can't be there. So it was Brownsville, Texas. I'm thinking at the the time now, he can't go there obviously because he's in some kind of gang related thing. Right, right. So I don't know what gang it is yet, but I said, a million bucks. He goes, yeah, I'll pay you 10%. I said, fuck, that's a no brainer. That's a hundred grand, right? I just got to figure out how to do it. So I'm like 25 at the time. So you're a kid. I'm young. I said okay, I got to get private jet, right. I got it. I'm going to get a cheap one, $2,500 an hour. I'll get the turbo prop, right, I'm gonna get a turbo prop. I got a get a security. I got an Avalon Crip. I'm to go grab him. I'm getting a UFC fighter with me. So I got some muscle just in case and I'm a fly on this thing. It's gonna be four hours there and four hours back. I'm doing the math. That's 10, that's 20. By yourself.
[01:03:41] Craig Carton You have so many life you like let me just run something by
[01:03:44] Owen Hanson No, no, no. This is me, man. I got that USC degree.
[01:03:46] Wayne I agree, man. You see, I can tell in his just the way that that's how he thinks. Yeah.
[01:03:53] Wayne Yeah.
[01:03:54] Owen Hanson Dude, I'm thinking to myself, okay, that's only 10,000 going there, 10,00 going back. Okay, that 20 grand. I'm profiting 80 right now. I got to pay tank from Avalon, I got pay this UFC fighter. That's another two grand. I'm coming out with like $78,000 for eight hours of work. I said, let's do it. And I put it all together. I get to Brownsville, Texas. I tell the muscle to stay on the plane. I come down and I tell El Jefe on this encrypted phone, I said I'm here. He says, give me two minutes. Sure enough, there's a gardener shows up in a pickup truck, a garden, overalls. I'm like, God damn, this can't be the guy. He shows up with a duffel bag with a million bucks. He goes, este para el jefe, this is for the boss. I'm, like, oh, I grab it. I'm looking around thinking I'm going to get shot. Get back on that plane. I get back on the plane, I'm tell the pilot, let's go, come on. And they're looking at me like, that's it. I'm that's, let's, go. We land in a private airport in Torrance, California. Right. I said, where do you want this money? He says, take 900, put it in the bag. He says keep a hundred for you, for your services and have it dropped off in the riverside. And I had it dropped and he goes, wow. I like the way you do work, Weddo. Weddo is a white boy, right? He's like, I like to way you to work. He says how would you like to make a million dollars a day doing the same thing, but in Australia? You know, he said, Australia. I'm the son of a construction worker. A million dollars a day sounds pretty damn nice. Yeah, yeah. So I just thought of speaking Australian accent so fast. He says, I got a ton of cocaine over there, and you got to figure out how to move it for me.
[01:05:30] Craig Carton So fast forward for me if you can. At some point you come back.
[01:05:35] Owen Hanson I come back. And you're sweating. I'm sweating. LFA messages me, hey, I need to pick up three million. Well, I just lost 3.2 and I got to tell them. You owe the cartel, how much? 3. 2. And I'm going to.
[01:05:48] Craig Carton That the cartel just doesn't walk away from 3.2. They're walking from no 3.3, right?
[01:05:55] Owen Hanson I'm like, okay, am I going to tell him I lost his money on a cryptophone, the guy's never met me? Right. Or am I gonna go face the music? I said about that. I said, I need to meet you in person. Because I felt like if I'm going to die, I'm gonna die in person so I'm not looking over my shoulder for the rest of my life. Right. So I told him that. He says, right, meet me in Mexico. And I literally drove from Los Angeles to Mexico, Tijuana, which is like a two and a half hour drive. I crossed the bridge. He says one o'clock, meet at the McDonald's on the Tijuana border side. I get over there. One o'clock sharp. A bulletproof Suburban shows up, black tinted, rolls down the glasses like that thick, that's how you know it's bulletproof. They said, what do I get in the car? I get into the car and the driver's got a pistol on his holster. I look behind me and there's two Cigarios, which are Hitman for the cartel, two of them in the back with AK-47s and AR-15s, bulletproof vest, I'm like, all right, this is it. We're gonna. Like, did you f***ing dance at that moment? No, you know what I mean, fuck, I've already taken three Xanax, I f***ed a shot of Cappuccino, a Norco, I snorted a line of cocaine. I mean I did everything. If I'm going down, I'm going down in style, right? I'm gonna feel good if you're gonna shoot me. Shoot me again. Yeah, so if you guys want to kill me, kill me. I'mma be fine. And I literally just said, okay, it's it, right. They're gonna shot me, they're gonna take me in the desert, and they're going to bury me or probably burn me with acid. Right. That was it, Right? Dude, we literally go southbound and two more suburbans come. And it's like literally like this entourage. Kind of reminded me of the entourage when I used to play at the USC Coliseum, we used to get this police escort, right? But now this time it was with the cartel. It was a different feeling, right. I imagine. So we pull up into this town, a lobster town. The guy has the whole restaurant shut down. There's one lady making tortillas and there's one waiter. He's got his six secarios around him and he's sitting at the table. And then I got my own seat with the two Sicars that were in the suburban sitting behind me. I'm like, okay, this is it. He's like, so tell me what happened, what oh. I said, man, he laundered the 1.5 million. He did it, remember I gave you the million. I said it was amazing. He did the 2.5 and he lost it. And then the same day, another 700 got picked off by my runner. He's, like what oh, I know. It's been in the newspaper. I've been reading. He already did his homework. He says, but what do, there's good news and there's bad news. I feel good. He says the good news is you're gonna live. The bad news is, you don't owe me 3.2 million anymore. I'm charging you 4 million because of interest. And he says, you now work for the cartel. Hey, but I, guess what? I was happy. I was gonna live, right? Those guys behind me weren't gonna shoot me. And working for the Cartel means go back to B.
[01:08:33] Craig Carton In the bookie.
[01:08:34] Wayne No.
[01:08:35] Craig Carton We'll go back to working for the Work at the He said I can put your picture of like in some barrio somewhere like hey three consecutive months. You're the best employee we got
[01:08:50] Owen Hanson And that's what I did. I literally did this for six months and I paid back the cartel the $4 million.
[01:08:56] Craig Carton I'll stop you there to tell me that if you want to hear the rest of the story, you got to watch the documentary. It's on Amazon Prime
[01:09:02] Owen Hanson There you go.
[01:09:03] Craig Carton Cocaine quarterback signal caller for the cartel. Well, look, it's a pleasure to meet you Appreciate you telling your story with us Yeah And I know you're out you got a lot of probation left to go But it seems like they can't hold you down and whatever you do you're gonna be successful and we appreciate you coming
[01:09:16] Owen Hanson Appreciate it having you guys like when you fall we get up and we keep going, right?
[01:09:20] Craig Carton All right, there you go. That's Owen Hansen and check out the doc on Amazon You know as E from entourage. Mr. Kevin Connelly. What is this that in the business 45 years? How are you? He directed Gotti. Yeah, the John I want that one movie about the god of vote Yeah, he directed it. Yeah when you do a movie like that does the Gotti family say, you know, we got notes Yeah, they got a lot of notes. I got like we don't like the way you portrayed this guy or that scene Like yeah Like, why doesn't Tony have hair? Why doesn't he have hair, I'm like, I'll ask him. Ask the actor, I don't know what it is. They wanted everybody to look exactly alike. I would imagine that too, yeah. It's the wildest thing I've ever. Like, there are some stereotypes, I guess, that live out in real life. No, they know the real guys. So, they knew the real guy. The real guy had hair and then the new guy doesn't. You know, that's all they see. But like, you know, Henry Hill wasn't Ray Liotta.
[01:10:16] Wayne Heh heh heh heh, what?
[01:10:22] Craig Carton I mean like listen if you need to go Wolf of Wall Street I mean Jordan Belfort's a nice guy but like doesn't look anything like Leo DiCaprio or he's just not that right now all right before we get out of here sorry to rush me out very popular segment on the show all right here we go in honor of Wayne's favorite football team that is not going to win a Super Bowl again this year Green Bay Packers because apparently they need a quarterback. That's Wayne's words. Not mine. I didn't like you. I don't see that Yeah, we've got a cheesehead And inside the cheese said and we do this all the time if you have questions for me and Wayne or any of our guests You email them to us and we read a select number of them Okay So these are the questions that came in from last week's show if you could have dinner with three people dead or alive No family members allowed who would it be? That's a tough one
[01:11:10] Wayne There you go.
[01:11:11] Craig Carton I can go, I can knock that one out. I would go Jesus, he'd be great. Muhammad Ali, Jackie Robinson, I think that'd be an awesome dinner.
[01:11:22] Wayne I was okay.
[01:11:24] Craig Carton King Tut? Oh, you don't! You're going to take King Tut?! King Tut. You know, he was like nine when he died. He was 12. Okay. He was twelve.
[01:11:33] Wayne Yeah, 30-40, yeah.
[01:11:35] Craig Carton Richer than us. Go ahead. Well, I'd throw Kennedy in there. Kennedy? Find out what happened. Not that he knows. How would he know? He's like, I don't know what happened, bro. Last thing he knew was Dallas is nice. I was waving. I was waving at people. And I don't know, maybe Marilyn Monroe. I don't know. Them together would be a fun, interesting difference.
[01:11:58] Wayne That's cool.
[01:11:59] Craig Carton What do you got?
[01:12:00] Wayne I've got Kobe Bryant. Yeah. I'm going to go with a SETI. That's one of the Anunnaki's. Okay. Yeah. I like that. SETTI. SETTI.
[01:12:12] Craig Carton It's a biblical thing.
[01:12:13] Wayne I just wanted to know that was just his name.
[01:12:17] Craig Carton Just his name, Craig.
[01:12:20] Wayne It's tough.
[01:12:23] Craig Carton It is, cause...
[01:12:26] Wayne Whoever God would be able to prove if there is a such thing is my actual biggest fan that will never get to see me in person.
[01:12:38] Craig Carton Wow. All right, all about the people. He's respectful of his fans, there you go. Our guest on today's episode is the man solely responsible for SpongeBob SquarePants. Ladies and gentlemen, Kevin Kay joins us today.
[01:12:54] Kevin Kay So Steve Hillenburg, who created SpongeBob SquarePants, he was originally a storyboard artist in our studio, in our animation studio. So year two becomes a big hit. Becomes a big head. And guess what? In year three, the merchandise comes out and it sells $4.2 billion. I'm sorry? $4 .2 billion worth of merchandise. In a year? In a third year.
[01:13:16] Craig Carton Poor Steve did not have a great deal.
[01:13:20] Kevin Kay I'll tell you a story about Steve. So Steve, you know, Steve did not have a good deal. It was one of those deals that was you know like it was all in the back end and he was never going to see any of that money and the way those deals were written you were never going see any that money. Steve didn't care that much to be honest. But when we knew that the story was going to break in the Wall Street Journal that he was going make over $4 billion, I said to Albie I said you know we need to like do something for him because he. The way his deal is written, he's gonna read that and he's going to quit. And I would too, because he's not going to see any of that money.
[01:13:55] Craig Carton He's making
[01:13:56] Kevin Kay No, he was probably making close to a million dollars a season, right? Let's just get this, let's just reset here. And by the way, maybe not even that much.
[01:14:05] Craig Carton The creator, let's just say millions, easy number, made a million bucks a year. The network made 4.2 billion. That's right. That just doesn't seem right.
[01:14:16] Kevin Kay So I wasn't right, so I went to Albie, and I said, we gotta do something for him. Like, we need to do something for him because he's gonna read that story in the Wall Street Journal, and he's going to quit. And I would too, if I were him. And so we took him out to dinner, we went up to Viacom's heads, and we said, We gotta do something for them, they all said, no, the deal is the deal, the way it's written is the way, is the way it goes, and that's, he signed the deal and that that, and we said, well, you're gonna quit, and then you don't have a show. Right. And you're not gonna make another billion dollars on the show. So we convinced them to write him a check. And we took him out to dinner at the Ivy at the Shore here in Santa Monica.
[01:14:54] Craig Carton You and a bunch of executives.
[01:14:55] Kevin Kay Me and Al, Albie took him out, took Steve out to dinner. So the three of you were at dinner. We were at diner.
[01:14:59] Craig Carton He doesn't know what the dinner's about.
[01:15:01] Kevin Kay He thinks we're just telling him congratulations on a good season. And we say, okay, we want you to know that this story is coming out in the Wall Street Journal and the show has made over $4 billion. I think of merchandise. He's just sitting across from us being Steve just eating and he's like, wow, that's a lot of money. And we said, but the way your deal is written, you're not gonna get any money right away. It's like. Way down the line, but we wanted to make sure that you understand how much we love you and how proud we are of this show. Stop it.
[01:15:32] Craig Carton Stop there for a sec. I've got a number in mind, Wayne.
[01:15:39] Kevin Kay Your number is going to be higher. Steve got a dinner. No, Steve got to check.
[01:15:46] Craig Carton Alright, so you bring a check.
[01:15:47] Kevin Kay We brought it back.
[01:15:47] Craig Carton And you present the check to him at dinner. Okay, now hold on. What do you think the check is for? What do you think the chair is for?
[01:15:53] Kevin Kay Okay, dessert. Yeah.
[01:15:54] Craig Carton Yeah, you have nice dinner, everything's great, by the way, big article, we made $4.2 billion. We want to thank you for your service to Viacom. If you had to guess, what do you think that check was? What do you that check should have been?
[01:16:08] Wayne I don't want to guess what I think it was. I don't want to get that wrong.
[01:16:15] Craig Carton Let's start small. It's gotta be a seven figure check minimum. Is that a fair guess? It's a fair check. Okay, 4.2 billion, he's making a million a year. I mean, please tell me you gave this man $10 million.
[01:16:27] Kevin Kay No, no, we couldn't convince Viacom to do that, we gave him two million. And by the way, we handed him the check and he goes, do you mind if I look at that? And we said, of course, he gently opened it up, looked at it and burst into tears.
[01:16:40] Wayne I was going to say, I was gonna say that, bro. I was kind of say, I was go to say you take me to dinner and all you speaking about 4.2 and yeah, we can speak about it all day, but you say you got 2 million right now on that tray right there in front of me, right there? That's 2 million, right? Yeah. If I don't have 2 million. Now I do. Oh my God, what? I'm not worried about that 4.1, point what? Yeah, that was awesome And then you said I was from merchandising though, right?
[01:17:12] Kevin Kay Licensing emergency. My head.
[01:17:13] Wayne I would have looked at it as, well you didn't say that was from the show.
[01:17:18] Craig Carton Got it, you know, you would have been practical about it. Yeah. Yeah, like the light Well, that's also based on your 30 years of success This poor guy's just some dude writing cartoon stuff and he's just having success for the first time But I get what you're saying. Yeah were they tears of joy or tears?
[01:17:33] Kevin Kay They were tears of joy, and we didn't really even understand why he was crying, but he was, and he said, you know, Karen, his wife, was just diagnosed with breast cancer, and I don't know what's going to happen, and you know he had two small children, and he's like, so he goes, this makes all the difference in the world for me. So that was, you didn't know that, but that was a special moment for him.
[01:18:00] Craig Carton Ladies and gentlemen mr. Derek Fisher comes by so I have something here for you Oh, I don't want to get your take on this all right. That's right. Don't mind that
[01:18:10] Derek Fisher I don't have anything fragile or valuable around this dude at all.
[01:18:16] Craig Carton I promise and I promise you're gonna remember this interview too. Okay. All right, so I'm gonna show you a picture You have to tell me is your next bite a B or C? I'm going to show the camera first before y'all get to see it. All Right, so that's what I'm showing All right. Now. I'm sure you guys is your next bite A B or c before you answer I'm Gonna tell you that depending on what letter you choose It says something about your personality you want to go first Wayne a B or see what's Wayne's next bite?
[01:18:45] Wayne Uh, I think, uh...
[01:18:47] Craig Carton Aye. Aye! Yeah. Interesting. A, B, or C, and you can pick the same as Wayne if that's what you choose, but. Nah, I'm going to go B. You're going to B? Yeah. Alright. You're not going to like this, so it says here, if you pick A, you're a psychopath. What? Says who? Says the people that took two bites out of me. Alright. If you had picked C, it means you're strategist. If you pick B as you did... It means you like instant gratification. But that seems to go against your personality. But you're a psychopath. Probably why we get along. Yeah, so there you go.
[01:19:34] Speaker 8 There you go. That was very interesting.
[01:19:37] Craig Carton We at Plaxico Birds, a guy that caught the game-winning touchdown pass in a Super Bowl!
[01:19:43] Wayne What was worse, playing for the Jets or prison?
[01:19:46] Plaxico Burress Ha, ha, the man. Oh, you're a fat man. J-E-C-E. So they're both kind of similar. OK. They're both kind of similar because when I walked in the prison on my first day, I was like, damn, man, you are a loser. And I had the same damn feeling every day I walked through the door with the jazz. I'm like, loser. So I'm serious. It's like, I don't know how to explain it because I played for two like stellar, great organizations from a ownership standpoint, the Rooney's in Pittsburgh and obviously we would. The Marys here in New York. And you just walk through the door when you're in Pittsburgh in the morning, it's 6.45 in the mornin', you walk through door here in Jersey with the Giants, and it's just this aura you have, like this pride as a player. You're like, you know what? We're going to kick somebody's ass this weekend. You know what I mean? It's not like that in Florham Park. I know. Hey, it's like you walk through the doors and you're like damn. I hope we can win this weekend, and that ain't what you want to be as a player, as a professional, but I'm not going to throw the Jets all the way under the bus, so I will say the JETs were better than Prince.
[01:21:12] Craig Carton But I'm not too far off. Thanks for that.
[01:21:15] Wayne There's a lot of stigma with the team. Yeah, a little bit. Everybody, everybody, even A-Rod went over there and just dropped him.
[01:21:22] Craig Carton Yeah, it's in the water, in Jersey, I hate to say. Very funny comedian, Matt Friend, everybody.
[01:21:30] Kevin Kay There we go!
[01:21:32] Wayne Oh my god, that's amazing, that is amazing.
[01:21:37] Matt Friend It's honestly, it's good to be with the Black, because we love the Blacks. They're great people. Great people. Look, but I said this, if I'm going to be honest with you, I pardon this guy, which you're lucky I did. You're happy I did that?
[01:21:49] Wayne Is not the word.
[01:21:51] Matt Friend You're blessed, right? That's good. So is this a Kanye situation and you like the Jews? What is happening, right. Give me a hand, please. Thank you for that. That's great.
[01:22:02] Matt Friend What a tough cookie this guy is. That's amazing, man. I use Trump to say things I don't feel comfortable saying as myself, because I don't want to get canceled. But if you say it as Trump, there's no repercussions at all.
[01:22:12] Wayne I used to do that as a kid. Do you do it? I used do it as a kids. Really? So when it was time for me to say something I knew I couldn't say around adults, I just said it in like Fred Sanford's voice or like Thelma Harper voice or something that I knew that they relate to and they were like, oh that's so funny, but I meant what I said.
[01:22:31] Craig Carton Who else is here tonight joining us on the stage?
[01:22:34] Matt Friend I like how you cued me up.
[01:22:35] Craig Carton What an expert host!
[01:22:38] Matt Friend I have a microphone, so here's what I'm going to do. I'm gonna do a little Howard Stern right now. Okay, here's I want to know those. You're a sexy guy.
[01:22:45] Wayne That was one of the best.
[01:22:46] Matt Friend You're one of the best musicians in history. You have the song Lollipop. Robin loves lollipop, right? So who's licked your lollopop the best out of all the celebrities you've met? Who's it going to be? Who gives the best blowjob at Hollywood?
[01:23:00] Wayne I actually spoke about it on the song before and then I thought I hadn't met the person that was the best lollipopper.
[01:23:09] Matt Friend Right, and who was that?
[01:23:10] Wayne And but actually I've met someone else and I said that on the song that this person is better than the person who I thought was the best lollipop.
[01:23:19] Matt Friend That's what I'm talking about.
[01:23:20] Craig Carton He had to go into his discography now. I like that. I forgot what song he's talking about. I like that. That was good.
[01:23:25] Matt Friend I'm just segueing now, but I haven't done this impression. And again, thank you for having me. This is so cool. I've known this impression since the news broke out, but because we are historically with Lil Wayne, the great Lil Wayne.
[01:23:37] Matt Friend I think it's time to bring out one man who's...
[01:23:41] Speaker 4 That's it.
[01:23:45] Matt Friend Thankfully he's still alive and I don't know if Lil Wayne knows what the fuck I'm talking about right now but
[01:23:52] Wayne I'm trying to figure out who you are. In a way.
[01:23:54] Matt Friend If you do a show in Kentucky, you're going to fucking find out.
[01:23:59] Matt Friend That was the Kentucky Senator Mitch McConnell who was very popular with Lil Wayne's fans.
[01:24:06] Matt Friend Maybe if we segway over to Barack Obama, then you will know who the fuck I am. That nigga cold. Thank you. Now, I didn't say it, because if I said that, then Lil Wayne's bodyguards would probably fucking kill me.
[01:24:19] Matt Friend You do that. That is crazy. I appreciate that. Thank you. I just met the king of England. I met him and I said, I've been trying to do an impersonation of you. Then he goes, keep trying. Then, he walked away and I wasn't beheaded.
[01:24:33] Craig Carton Have you ever considered doing Lil Wayne's voice?
[01:24:35] Matt Friend I could try right now but
[01:24:39] Matt Friend You gotta be careful with the black voices if I'm being honest with you.
[01:24:44] Matt Friend It's like Tourette's, I have a major, it's Trump Tourettes, it is a serious psychological disorder.
[01:24:51] Matt Friend But if you nail that black voice perfectly, then the brothers love you. So what can I say?
[01:24:58] Matt Friend I'll let Jay Farrow handle that and I'll do the white people. There you go. Hey now. If you went to prison, someone said you want to see my little white... No, anyways, that'd be weird.
[01:25:09] Wayne I heard somebody say that to me before, not in prison. Hopefully there's no diamonds on that little white, but that'd be crazy.
[01:25:16] Craig Carton Who in the world said that to you?
[01:25:17] Wayne They recommended that I use it as a line, as a bar.
[01:25:21] Craig Carton I want to see my legata.
[01:25:23] Wayne And then they, they kept going a little further and they recommended that I open up my own wing shop and call it Lil' Wings.
[01:25:30] Craig Carton That's amazing. Matt, before I let you go, any advice, any one of these people that are here tonight? Any advice? Want to keep little Wayne moving forward in his career?
[01:25:39] Matt Friend Any advice for Lil Wayne moving forward? Yeah, I mean, look, Lil Wayne, this is Andy Cohen from Bravo. And I know Lil Waynsky wanted my advice, so I would say, Lil Wayne don't be like a housewife, stay out of trouble. Who else could... Bill Maher would say this. Okay, here's what he would say. You know what? Maybe stay away from the guns.
[01:26:02] Wayne Bill Bill's been a bit of a set out recently. I don't like staying on my set.
[01:26:06] Matt Friend I'll do a wrap-up. We have Jeffrey Lindt, Jeff Goldblum, G-O-L-D, B-L, U-M, yes of course, very happy to be here with Lil Wayne, Lil Wayne yes yes, I'm more of a jazz musician myself. Okay, audience interested? Who else could be? Rami Malek, this is obscure but...
[01:26:28] Wayne I would never know when you-
[01:26:29] Matt Friend Are you serious? Well, I appreciate you coming by. Thank you for having me and it's great to see you back from Storming the Capitol. I'm very happy to be here. I love your January 6th look. Give it up for this beautiful crowd and Lil Wayne, everybody. Thank you. So cool to meet you.
