"Every minute has to count."
The YOU.PRJCT+ Show is the conversation behind YOU.PRJCT+, the platform under the process. Henry and Harrison Schertzinger, twin brothers, coaches and founders, read the great books out loud and ask what they ask of us: the investment you make in yourself every day, the order that lets a person flourish, and the long work of becoming.

Henry how we doing? Great. It's a birthday. Yeah. Only similar to everything as
significant as you make it which is similar to the approach of like every
day I've been kind of repeatedly trying to renew enthusiasm even more intensely
and this morning was kind of hilarious. Harrison comes walking down the steps
and I walk out of my room at 329 said I beat the alarm up didn't even need the
alarm this morning they're just fired up oh yeah it's awesome that our birthday
landed on Monday yeah favorite day of the week tons of momentum going no I hate
the question actually I don't hate it you know somebody listening might have
asked me this but the question of do you feel older I don't like that question
because what is the underlying presupposition of that which is like do
you want me to say yeah I feel the accumulated fatigue a little bit of
resignation my hopes have dimmed due to the reality of the inertia of life no
you're not gonna hear that from me no I don't is there a little increase in what
feels to be sharper sobriety in like way higher command of executive function and
way less friction in action yeah there's just a ton of that yeah 100% how I've
been reading a lot recently obviously and from the imitation of Christ there's
this one line which says you must replace custom with custom I mean if you
want to get rid of some bad habit has to be replaced by one and there is nothing
that has changed my last two weeks more than the replacement of the artificial
scroll with the just like returning to reading yeah and the question of do you
feel older what are you looking for this year it's like the mind is renewed so
instantly and your level of well how you're viewing things changes so fast
that question doesn't make sense and sitting in church last night I was
reading I went back to our the first book that's in the collection which is
as a man thinketh and it is so bold and so wait until you read waiting to hear
what I'm saying well all these guys are so bold and ambitious which when they're
addressing like the spirit of man and when it is he in full command of his
thoughts what is possible yes and how he can shape his environment and it's so
almost intoxicating and I was smiling before mass just thinking you just can't
I cannot commit myself to this thought that everyone has read these words and
just like passed on to the going back to normal yeah they just haven't read they
just haven't read them you cannot come in contact with these ideas with this
such empowering belief in your agency and go back to normal yeah and and I'm
again sitting there praying centering myself before mass just continuing to
try to be receptive to what is ahead and I just smile thinking there is no way
anyone has come in contact with what I have and goes on with just saying no this
of course not well not actualizing potentials everything I have not I've
started to learn this recently which is the modern mind how we've conceived of
the world is a very recent phenomenon like that's why this whole line
yesterday's wisdom to win today it's a reorientation it's a remembering and a
reorientation to putting you not at the center of the world but centering the
world so there is some sort of tether that brings way greater power like you're
saying reading some of these thinkers it is intoxicating but it's not it's not
intoxicating is the wrong word because I go back to when someone asks hey do you
feel older no I mean I feel in way sharper way sharper there's not a level
of command that I say my three weeks ago self wouldn't have but there's just an
accumulation of pattern recognition well similar to what I said to you today in
passing which is you start to see someone becomes borderline unbeatable the longer
they have time accumulation underneath them yeah it's like sincere commitment
it's not they start to get complacent and they just believe they're the big dog
in the market so they don't continue to iterate yeah it's like you understand
the biggest moat is motion like you know ration emotion iteration emotion in the
pursuit of some archetypal ideal some platonic ideal that you're genuinely you
have conceived of internally you're not trying to copy the competition you
genuinely have some sort of innate almost it's objective subjective and then
transjective there's like a between space between you and what's being brought
into the world well that is real and authentic and has a shimmer to it and
that's why this you project kind of nine months of building has been such a
blessing we've never iterated on something this much we've never gotten to
just continually build on something yeah to a to a place that has been three four
years in the making I mean non-stop on such simple ideas but done in a such a
high-quality way but that pursuit of quality just continues to unveil and
reveal itself yeah and the details that matter right the dream is in the detail
but you will only uncover that if you sincerely believe if you have a deep
conviction if you're not after some super quick transient exchange but no no
I'm building something because it has to happen it has to happen there's a real
problem in the world right now and this is a real solution and when you start to
believe that not even start to believe that you believe that from the start from
the very beginning this has to happen because genuinely it is it's fixing
something that's off it's allowing someone to reorient and reconstruct
their lives to become truly powerful that is it's such a gift it's been an
absolute blessing yeah and and I've loved this kind of theme which are the
people that bring us a lot of not hope in the future but it's kind of the
spirit which is we need really smart people to tackle really hard problems
and kind of what drew me away from the scrolling on X because for a while I was
like X is the tip of the spirits the only way I'm gonna learn what these
breakthroughs are in these tech tools and then I started to catch the theme of
people are just putting new wrappers on these new kind of upgrades I'm just
seeing harnesses I'm seeing kind of fake things so then it's okay I'm gonna fully
retreat now to just the ideal we are chasing and what we are trying to
contribute because like nothing else out there is really anything we're missing
no when you need a new tool that new tool will appear yes and it
fundamentally just an increase in pattern compression like it's just gonna
allow you to do something faster but you still have to do the thing you have to
have the idea for the thing you have to work on keep your hands on constantly
allow the focus the funnel of focus to work in on something I've been never I've
never been more convinced that social media the fractaling of attention the
scattering of that circle kind of Venn diagram like circle of interest versus
circle of influence the bigger that ratio becomes meaning I can influence a
few things but I'm so interested in a billion things you feel so weak but when
that starts to just come together you're like all I'm interested in is what I
have immediate impact this is my portion this is what I've been gifted this this
is where I'm responsible and committed to and when I shut off the whole external
world and I care about the portion God has granted me so much power starts to
come and all of a sudden it is like the life force starting to rise back up
within you and if you go hit one it's been three great days seven great days
all of a sudden you go reach for the phone and in you know you should be
working be like I'll just go check in with the external world whatever it is
it is so disorienting so just sap your it'll sap your attention so fast and
that's when people say hey do you feel older no no I feel way sharper I feel
way sharper so much more momentum we're clarity conviction more fully
participating in the reality at which we're able to impact yes we've had these
visions for two to three years they've been building in terms of character for
longer than that and so there is no feeling of when I when I get the
question or what when it's levied toward you hey do you feel this way it feels
like underlying that is there is no accumulation of fatigue there's no
resignation of hope here we are as ambition as ambitious and as bold as as
we've ever been and continue to pray for that because there has to be those type
of people I'm reading this Emerson line from I think it's self-reliance it's one
of the boldest Emerson it's just iconic it's iconic I return to it all the time
I say it all the time which is great companies are shadow of great men yeah
history can be boiled down to a few great men now here is the the whole bit
if you've never heard this before it's such a gift and it's a gift to one
listen to it read it try to take it in but another to think what would the
posture of a man been to have penned that just sitting at a desk by himself
like handwritten I'd imagine I mean I'd time period 18 we could look it up real
quick but how would you have to conceive of yourself in the world your role in
the world to write this boldly so he goes
let us never bow and apologize a great man is coming to eat at my house I do
not wish to please him I wish that he should wish to please me I will stand
here for humanity and though I would make it kind I would make it true let us
affront and reprimand the smooth mediocrity and squalid contentment of
the times and hurl in the face of custom and trade and office the fact which is
the upshot of all history that there is a great responsible thinker and actor
working wherever a man works that a true man belongs to no other time or place
but is the center of all things where he is there is nature he measures you and
all men and all events ordinarily everybody in society reminds us of
somewhat someone else or of some other person character reality reminds you of
nothing else it takes place of the whole creation the man must be so much that he
must make all circumstances indifferent every true man is a cause a country and
an age requires infinite spaces and numbers and time fully to accomplish his
design and posterity seems to follow him as steps of a train of clients Caesar is
born and for ages we have the Roman Empire Christ is born and millions of
minds so grow and cleave to his genius that he's confounded with virtue and the
possible of a man an institution is the lengthened shadow of one man and all
history resolves itself very easily into the biography of a few stout and earnest
persons just a such an iconic line of thought yeah I remember reading that I
love the that there is a great responsible thinker and actor working
whatever a man works yeah and I think recently we've stumbled upon the
realization of we are not teaching lacrosse anymore at the lacrosse Academy
because that is the easiest thing to install in someone yeah to which they can
just install in themselves like you can just go learn the lacrosse thing so
easily but can you get that spark of inspiration to actually want to become
someone who's insanely unique yes and travel down the road that is not easy and
you will be sacrificing things which feel oh but everyone else is
participating in whatever X and Y yes it's a weird it's actually a weird flip
for us because yes we're retrained lacrosse but our job is almost to
inspire them to do it themselves yes and then come and share the gifts of being
great well that's with everybody else but it's basically like hey we're holding
this torch we're waiting for you to be responsible enough to take it and go do
it yeah every like by yourself in your free times bending more of your leisure
to that is not we're just like poking and prodding you until we say hey so
when do you want to be great do you actually want to do this because we're
training wheels yes we're refining your game we're constantly watching you know
we're a mirror and sandpaper but there's something that when you get further down
the road or when you've pursued things yourself you can't nothing can take the
place of I have to do it you have to do it well I shared this with them on
Thursday or it was Wednesday but it was this idea that in the past I think we
made the mistake in trying to get people to fall in love with the place and in
reality you want to circle something around everyone's in love with the
lifestyle everyone's in love with the thing and then we're grateful to be able
to do it together because eventually the place itself you start to see the dust
in the corner it loses its luster a little bit like I think of every day I
love going to the gym but I just love training like I love training and I'm
grateful to do it at the place we go but I'm not there because the gym is
incredible you know if you were only going for the place itself and not
because the life like you've adopted the lifestyle you've taken the torch and
outside of it you've committed yourself to becoming someone which then you get a
return to a community and inspire others like that is the gift of doing
something in communion with others is your example strengthen someone and I
think that is ideally if we give that stair step to like hey there's something
awesome going on here but then it shapes everything else when you leave here but
then you come back and you show how great you're becoming by yourself yeah
that's like the greatest gift 100% it's not a knock either on trainers when or
people like us when someone goes and obviously develops themselves so much
further than we had our hands on yes that's exactly what had to happen that's
exactly what has to happen your coach is there yes sure to constantly work on
technique I mean we're there every single day with these players but I think
it was last week you ripped the players but then also at the same time said look
you not holding up your or you told them it's basically an insult to not do what
we had to do because you you're thinking the bar is not suitably high I'm trying
to think of how you how you explained it but it was this idea of if you're not
doing things when you're here you're not understanding this sacrifice that we're
sharing with you which is like it is a full encompassing yeah ask 100% if not
it's just a hobby and hobbies don't change people hobbies I mean allow you to
relax and decompress give you not so much distraction I would call it good
distraction you know it's almost a parallel and entertainment in a positive
sense but when you are in true character development mode and you are trying to
put a pressure chamber around every single moment and tethering it with hey
this matters for me to get into flow state you have to tie yourself into this
matters set that frame incredibly hard so I remember what you're referring to
there but I do know we say that all the time yeah if the effort is not there it's
disrespectful to the people who've cared up up until that point yeah yeah 100% I
this weekend I read the first book of The Imitation of Christ and it's so
radicalizing because Thomas a campus he lived for 71 years in the same place
with the same group of brothers and all he did his life was literally dedicated
to copying the Bible he copied it by hand four times throughout his life and
then obviously also like made goods in order to support the Brotherhood and
hand wrote The Imitation of Christ exactly he copied the Bible and wrote
The Imitation of Christ which after he died was the second highest selling book
in the world and still is besides the Bible and I'm so happy it's a part of the
first 13 collection because it is so radicalizing what he talks about meaning
what your time must be too he says do not let your time even a minute be given
to something unproductive or something that is not edifying yeah I mean in the
way he describes it the way he lays it out now we're in a serious war with the
world right now it is the level of derangement is it's so so startling and
so high the problem is the shock and all value of it it engages you below like
you feel it almost gutterily when you're scroll it's but it feels to be a true
addiction once you do free yourself you start to feel that there's generally no
excuse what you're saying there you know what I've continually wrote in the past
two to three days is just every minute has to count every minute has to count
and there's that if poem if you can fill the unforgiving minute with 60 seconds
worth of distance run yours is the earth and everything that's in it and which is
more you'll be a man I mean that is that right there that that is this refinement
to oh my gosh I have not revered life I've not revered this opportunity you
know thinking about obviously another year for us 27 shirts sounds old
relative to 15 but in terms of the grand scheme we have so much we have so much
still that I have to continually remind myself but also tack back on the urgency
yeah on the there actually is no reason to project super far you know put aims
out you almost put kind of recursory KPIs but there is no greater strategy
than what can I how can I just fill this moment over and over and over for all of
my being into this moment it's so radicalizing to read these these guys
which we I posted something on my Instagram which is I'm very inspired by
people that are around me but even more so about just the thought of people that
I read and study and when you come across Theodore Roosevelt who was said to
have read one book a day in multiple languages or Benjamin Franklin they ask
him when when does he have time for reading and he's doing all these things
he's starting institutions and making discoveries he's like I read when my
work is done and after I've eaten in the evening before bed and before I wake up
and work again like there's always there's levels to the game there's so
many levels and and you're not taught it you were not taught it early enough it's
like you have to discover it as if it's some sort of secret that people used to
be incredible the - it's crazy think about how you could go your whole you
could go for so long in your life and never discover someone truly great yeah
I mean so he's so easily as a kid you could go all through high school and I'm
not talking about obviously everyone looks up to their parents their parents
make just ridiculous levels of sacrifice but I'm talking about this like world
class level character that graces the earth yeah not every generation but has
these like I mentioned here history resolves itself very easily into a
biography of few stout and earnest people you know that that and we talked
yesterday about the frustration you know some of our players they'll say I hate
school and we'd say no you don't you don't hate it like we used to hate it
because yes school is frustrating when it's seemingly taking quote-unquote your
time it's more frustrating when you realize what you could have been taught
yeah that's when it got infuriating in college now it was better we were in
business school and so we were learning things that were actually applicable
they were enjoyable case studies are cool and learning stories are great but
when you look back there's an retroactive rage that occurs by going what
are we what are we doing you know I used an example yesterday I said a lot of our
players are in biology but why don't we have like biology for change like
neurobiology of change that would break down neuroplasticity the biology of life
the biology of growth you start biology longevity the American history of the
greats you know now that's just obviously those class titles aren't well
architected there but the point is you kind of see it's young to learn you don't
you're not learning pointlessly it's pointing to something that genuinely is
assisting you in thriving transforming elevating your environment yeah the
integrity of the the integrity of the individual don't quite know where I was
going on that rant outside of we were talking about the great great men that
we've just been studying and interacting with and it's radicalizing and so helpful
yeah it means so you don't need well I think it we're seeing it right now which
is if the you project app didn't exist and we were kind of just shooting in the
dark telling players here and there hey you've got to do this you've got to do
that there wouldn't be an organized movement of this is what greatness
actually looks like yeah I mean you can wake up in the morning you can wake up
now and get on the app at 7 and see every person who's done something before
that and then in the evening you can recheck and you can go in there and see
where have people been putting their time I mean I've been very intentional my
phone is just sitting because I can pause and start the time on the lock
screen and in between every single time I'm engaging with my computer I'm
starting reading I'm stopping the reading starting the reading stopping the
reading when people get because Harrison I've shared to each other even if
there's no one else on the app I would enjoy it as a tool for myself to see my
time is incredible yeah like I love it myself I'm enjoying and I'm excited and
a hundred days from now at the end of the year just to see how much time have
I given to the dream yeah I'm not tracking actual working hours on
projects I know what I wanted me thinking yeah I know it would be thinking
about doing like private logging because it would be nice to genuinely yeah time
log how much deliberate focus is going into work just like clocking and clocking
out yeah especially as an entrepreneur it's odd as people who don't have nine
to fives which someone's like oh it must be nice no well yeah it is I mean it's
incredibly nice but it's more of like it actually technically can be like 4 a.m.
to 10 p.m. so there's nothing it's more of how many hours focused hours am I
pouring into something logging that is what is genuinely helpful because you
look at a result something that has to happen and you go this might be six
hours away this might be eight hours away this might be two really good hours
I need one pretty much breakthrough you know I need some sort of revelation some
sort of insight to snap into place I don't know what that's gonna be but I
think if I pour four hours in it's gonna happen you know that's that process of
iteration but that unbounded process of iteration where you go the hours I could
allocate to this are infinite we're not infinite but they're a lot 100% and so
how do I cut that time out but like you were saying with you project it's gotten
to a point where it feels I mean yes I've built it fully but watching and
seeing it now come to life with so many people that we don't know yeah we're
very pre-marketing you know we have done very little I would say zero very little
zero marketing yeah with zero attempts of and the only thing we've done is literally
just testing the systems of how content is created it's not actually running the
play it's not running the play yet yeah it's more just getting content templates
down but what is so awesome right now there's a few one is the the young kids
posting interest it's incredible to watch yeah it's almost emotional every
time seeing it because it doesn't feel real something that I made another thing
is awesome is seeing the like dads and sons go on runs and work out and because
that was so much what we were built by people don't understand if your parent
listening you don't wait for the kid to have a dream you build that shit in his
head and he'll take the torch when it's his or hers or whatever it is right I
mean we before we could go outside and play we had to do like Olympic
development program we'd go work out in the basement you think we wanted to do
that I mean then no there was times that we were pissed but we did it our dad
made no it's not we did it our dad made us do it that made us do a lot of things
and in the moment there's maybe some of that friction but retrospectively there's
so much gratitude for the character that got built and it's awesome to see the
parents who are investing in these kids like these are 2036 is 2037s I mean
super young girls in the one club that's on right now just incredible adoption
awesome I mean yeah absolutely it is way better than I ever thought it would be
yeah and you know it's parent driven and the purity of the content is so
incredible it is just simply what is someone devoted to it's exactly me cheer
you on and then let me show you what I care about as well yeah we were saying
the other day because we were listening to a podcast together on the way home
and the guy said you know it's been seven years eight years maybe five years
since the another great social network has came about because there's almost
been a saturation you know what what is that next thing to bring people together
you know you've got LinkedIn you've got tik-tok which has been this most recent
kind of oversaturation of incredibly low form attention spans you've got Instagram
Facebook sub stack kind of thrown in there YouTube shorts YouTube yes but then
you go so where's where's is there ever gonna be another social network concept
to know was you project started from a place of let's try to build the next
great social network no but it was started from a place of you want to
support and be supported in your adventure to excellence and that could
bring people together meaning if you have to earn the post if every time it's
a sincere log it could be one of the most positive echo chambers in the world
there's no victims here it's all about you know what are you doing to get after
it and this is this is and then coming back to support other people doing it I
mean I go on and it is just awesome you'll see from the ranges and the more
and more people that go on the better it will be and it'll be continued to be
there's so many iterations still to come I mean it's literally me on the patio
with my Mac many so it's but it's an unbelievable even even I wish it could
be I wish there could be some sort of software appraisal where it's like hey
between this dashboard app and website this is what this would have been
cousin 89.5 out of 100 no but but before we even had the app and we were
starting to talk about it and tying into the school system as well we were like
man this platform bringing people together is gonna be so empowering
because one especially if it's connected to people you see frequently we the
original dream of like there needs to be you project chapters at every high
school of guys and girls that meet in the morning they talk about what's their
strategy how are they architecting greatness yeah it's always been lifting
clubs a month me once a month workshop strategize let me see your time
allocation G and it's it's it's yeah this is way back to college essentially
when it's original change university type stuff original change is gonna come
back come back around and we were always saying why are the next generation which
is literally going to build the future world why are they not having performance
coaches like fortune 500 CEOs which again they are building the world right
now but also the next generation is way more it's not even moldable but when you
set someone's trajectory and hair knives we've told a bunch of our older girls
there's this younger girl she's in sixth grade it's like hey the greatest
advantage she has over everyone is her is her youth like yeah pour and pour
into her right now the younger the more just you should be like holy shit what
is it not to have a level of neuroplastic just acceptance of hey this
is how the world is what you're you're built to be maximally adaptive and
become great that is your role that is what you do and if you could put that
into somebody's life and that's the exciting thing about why it's been
interesting we had this one first club to get on you know the adoption was a
ton from their youth kids yeah now you can think that maybe that is the parent
kid collaboration maybe that's the first glimpse of like hey this is social media
but from a very positive place you know both of those could potentially be right
but what's more exciting is those kids are gonna grow up and just accept this
as a self-evident platform to which this is what I didn't their friends yeah this
is where they log the extra work they support their friends doing the same they
make sure they're consistent not only in just checking the box but also in hey if
I'm saying 30 minutes a day is my standard five five days a five days a
week I'm gonna continue to audit that and I'm gonna learn what it's like to
set a process goal a clear how simple is how simple is it to teach a kid who you
see in the mirror is what matters most yeah like you're responsible and
committed to making that the best you possibly can that is that that is where
do we the single clearest that single clearest ethos to put in that's why this
is a this is going to be a tough business to one-shot like someone and I'm
not inviting competitors whatsoever and this is being built with a lot of
momentum and what feels to be running a lifetime things building but there's
something exciting about when you all when when like we're saying not to come
back to the birthday in the concept of 27 do I feel older there's a lot of
momentum building and you feel that everything we're everything feels more
real the older you get when you're young you're basically giving these
artificial schedules but you're everyone's making shit up for you hey
that's what you're supposed to be doing hey you want to take this class and then
as you get older everything gets more real you start to own your house you
start to own your things you start to actually buy things with the money you're
making you can see how things accumulate to 100% you can see how things that used
to be impossible you're like wait this this might be possible and we haven't
felt the law the scaling laws yet someone texts us today the power law it's
such an amazing gift to understand that reflect on it think about it now we
don't have full understanding I actually don't think you understand something
obviously until you've experienced it like within your set the cells of your
body to realize like oh wow there it is right there yeah there it is we've put
all of our eggs in this basket and it just it hit it absolutely makes so much
sense when something is fractionally better you have to adopt it because the
degree of change that it makes meaning like Google Google verse bang you know
they might have been doing the same thing but when the stakes are so high
even that marginal difference changes something ever and clearly and whatever
competitive markets you projects going to compete in for a kid's time and
attention the outsides return of a kid that cares about who they see in the
mirror and understands the process of progress is going to be so outsized that
hopefully the social pressures of family and the community and players that have
truly adopted and become leaders in it just becomes again self-evident in every
single way possible undeniable yeah it's got to be it's got to be undeniable that's
been the gift of having the lacrosse Academy the club having a locational
service business which is you don't have to do marketing if your product is
undeniable yeah if when they step on the field they're so much better that it
looks like they're not playing a different sport but it's a it's a level
of class that nobody on the field has now some other people might have a little
athleticism some courage some comic some kamikaze type style of like they can
just barrel their way to the goal they don't have the class and that only is
depth texture of millions of brushstrokes of paint and discipline over
and over and over and that's the same thing with the subtleties of what the
you project points to the level allows affords the level of a man's and passion
users are gonna feel in their lives is gonna be significant I go back to the
line when someone goes I forget I forgot to log no you're gonna forget to do it
yeah you get back to what you measure you maximize what you measure you can
really manage and there's nothing that can replace consistency that line of you
know Tom Brady has the real audio that is just so classic but it's consistency
doesn't guarantee success but inconsistency guarantees you'll never be
successful and so if the platform itself is on consistency and time allocation
those are massive variables in leverage in levers yeah to play with non-stop
over and over this is my the rest your life this is my last prophetic comment
I've been seeing a ton on X and everyone's launching their personal agentic
system you know you got Facebook you've got grok bot and this guy is like I keep
seeing doomers out there saying this tech is taking everybody's work does he
not realize tech for all of time has been making work compressed meaning it
took people out of the field it took people off the assembly lines like tech
is leading to the reallocation of what people's biology was once given to yeah
and it's like the you project I'm not saying it's going to be everyone's
future job but it is this elevation of like who I see in the mirror is constant
like the elevation of the gifts and tools I've been given will never be
taken away the re and the one the one book on the shortness of life it talks
about how you make life longer is you study you study wisdom and then it goes
through how that actually makes life longer because if you are the same person
for your whole life and you live the same day one day you live one day you
just live one day I studied that yesterday and it's so incredible to
think through this when you're always given new eyes you're constantly living
a new life and a new day and that's how you make life long yeah the slavery of
sin the slavery of habits that keep you trapped in the past there is the the
hamster running on the wheel things go fast yeah life feels real fast and it's
like whether we are the generation of the stars and we're preparing to just do
some epic adventures in the future or well not you might as well I encourage
your tools as significantly as possible I encourage anybody to read there's a
book called biological elegance it's a tad out there but it's unbelievably
profound prophetic yes I don't even want to explain if you have that that piques
your interest look into it but it basically is if you're one of our players
you're not ready for that now I'd say if you're older because it's it's pretty
daunting in terms of why AI has not even why AI has shown up at this time but
thinking about kind of these technological revolutions what that has
done to split man away from nature how we've basically disembodied ourselves
disembedded ourselves we've split ourselves not only mind and body you know
we think we're these detached intellects but it's like what is AI potentially
gonna allow us to do to re embed re embody to kind of return to nature it's
gonna be biological it's it's an incredible it's a beautiful vision for
what can happen but the level of pain that is going to potentially transpire
in the next five to ten years as this kind of warp speed transition but I
still I don't mean to I know we don't talk tons of just current events in AI
but we are so on the tip of it you know we're I use Claude codex cursor
grok bot anything anything that comes out tool we're on the front lines we're
using it we're seeing how it can be applied I mean we're in the field right
now you can't really use a tool like to have a screwdriver is pointless to have
something that you were literally unscrewing and screwing is incredibly
helpful then you master the screwdriver so we are very much we have the full
entire like full stack system of a business to use these tools with and so
it's fun but these is AI a bubble the quote-unquote question it is
unbelievable what's happening right now because it's very effective for people
like us yeah but the consumer application I still don't understand or
see how is there I do I used to grok bot yesterday to do something for the first
time that was simple where I said I wanted to go through this course called
awakening from the meaning crisis 55 episodes I didn't want to go through and
click like the three dots and mark as unplayed for every single one of them so
I could kind of know where I was going through and so I just said to my grok
bot hey go through mark every single one is unplayed let me know when it's done I
go to the course it's done I'm like that's efficient that's effective that
was an awesome use of this but that that wasn't that's not worth trillion
dollars yeah and and who knows when when that's all coming do yeah come and do
when that's coming back but for us we're going to continue to use it just
thinking about intelligence as pattern compression and these models getting
smarter as data gets pulled out of them meaning focus is the removal of things
and so these models they're getting more focused and they're compressing things
more and so that's a great reflection for us as I kind of sidetracked on AI
but just starting to study how AI these models are made you know they can help
us a ton which is you want to get more focused and you want to turn things into
habits faster you know you want to compress patterns and if you could say
hey this morning the like this transition step for me it was five steps
boom now it's one now I kind of understand how this flow happens how I'm
priming my body soul to get back focused back energized back uplifted back
reoriented whatever it may be you know you can learn a ton a ton a ton how they
are improving these intelligence systems I mean it is intelligence
fundamentally so then you go into what is intelligence and how are they
improving the data sets what does that mean and what makes you uniquely human
you know what makes us super uniquely human that even in a quote-unquote well
AI will never be conscious but in a reflectively AI system will never admit
to kind of the biology and soul like unique not even transistors like how
receptive and revelatory our life can be when you're in pursuit is what is unique
that's what you have to not to return to you project but it's just been something
obviously we've poured into it for a long time and it that's when everything
begins when you see yourself as masterpiece work in progress I'm in some
coherent relationship with and that word coherence is so awesome cohere right the
world hears me I hear the world we're in this kind of again there's a between
space that we're dancing between as my capacity expands answers start to reveal
themselves and with that faith with that trust that is faith that process right
there that is faith that those are the steps of faith so yeah very old very
solid we've said a lot this is a long episode we didn't think it was gonna go
this long at all I said this is the last thing I'll say more and more find care
and respect and awareness for the things which you will have for the longest time
yeah and that's that's that's why I feel like I've matured most it's like getting
up having a cup of coffee and reading my four or five things I love I'll do that
forever yeah I have so much profound respect for that and also even just the
environment I engage with every single day in the morning like I'm going to
invest in that because it's something that's repeatedly done and I see our
players that are you start to see these habits you know Evie gets up and she's
reading and I almost comment every morning it's so cool yeah grandma Evie's
gonna be doing that someday like you've got the habit that you will have forever
yeah now you may say what about all the wall ball they won't be doing that
forever no it's it's the caring about something is something that will endure
and there's so many things that you can you start to get such deep reverence for
the things that you have forever and I think that's very good point that's all
All right, God bless my friend, see you next time.
