00:00:00 Speaker: Father, we are very conscious of the fact that we are here in your divine will, and we are here because you have brought us here and arranged our circumstances so we can be here. And Lord, we believe tonight that we can reach right through this ministry. Go beyond a person and find you, Lord, and whatever we need for body, soul and spirit, we thank you, Lord, in your wonderful love. You have made provision. Father, it's up to us to receive that which you have provided. And so, Lord, we ask you tonight that in every heart that you'll stir up our faith. Lord, as we stir up our spirit and Lord, that we'll move out of our limitations into the mighty realm of a wonderful, mighty God. Lord, we thank you that you have invited us and encouraged us to move. Move out today and to prove you, Lord, in everything. So we thank you, father, that you're not frightened of us proving you. So. We pray tonight, Lord, that we will make your omnipotence the measure of our expectation. So we ask this in Jesus precious name. Amen. You may be seated. Thank you. A lot of people would love to be free from lots of things. Not just husband, free from their wife or mother in law or things like that, or wives fretting the husband and children. I don't mean people that are a burden, but a lovable burden. Excuse me. All those people are lovable burdens. No wife could be nothing else but a burden. And the husband couldn't be anything else but a burden. But because that's what the Bible says. Bear you one another's burdens. But most of us. Most of us would love to get rid of some things in our life, and we would also like to get things into our life. Well, I believe that every Christian loses so many things every day as he gains so many things. Now you lose the things that bind you, the things that depress you, and you gain the things that lift you and lose you. Lift and lose. I must remember those two L's. When next time I hear somebody singing no, L, I'll remind them. You don't have to laugh at my puns, but if you don't laugh, you'll be punished. I'd like you to turn to Philippians chapter four. Because tonight. I was just saying. I think I'm a little hoarse tonight. Thank you for the bucket of water. Now, these verses are very familiar. You might have heard them somewhere else today. Verse six. Be careful or be anxious for nothing. But in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. What I'd like to speak about tonight, and each night I will be speaking about a different subject in relationship to victorious Christian living. To be free from it would seek to dominate us or have dominion over us. There's only one person that should have dominion over us and that is the Lord Jesus Christ. And I believe that nothing should bind us or tie us down or restrict us. Therefore, when Jesus came, he came to set us free. And the Bible says, whom the son sets free is free indeed. Now, most people I have met in my lifetime are bound someway or other in the mind. The mind itself has got them in bondage, either by the way they think or by the way they reason. In Isaiah one, God says, come, let us reason together, saith the Lord. And the reason all mankind is away from God. I should say most of mankind is away from God, is the fact that mankind has reasoned away from God. God is not frightened to reason. He's not frightened to allow you to think on spiritual things. He gives you a list of things to think on. Think on these things. God has given us our minds. Therefore he wants us to use our minds. Now, wouldn't it be wonderful if we could change our mind or change our mind to the mind of the Lord? Where do you have peace? You have peace in your heart. But where is the most blessed place of peace? Peace of mind. Right. The whole world would give anything for peace of mind. And a lot of Christians I know would too. Most of us do not have peace of mind under certain circumstances, because we get information in our minds which tell us the worst or fear in our minds allows us to anticipate the worst. And so we go fearfully. That's why it says be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving make your requests made known unto God. Now this is the place of the battle today. If a Christian could have peace of mind for one day, you wouldn't know his business. The change in it. You wouldn't know his or her home, or also the things that they would do in that day. When your mind is ruled and controlled by peace, all that you do is perfect. It's incredible, but true. Rush and haste and the servant of the Lord shouldn't strive. Come out of fear and frustration. The Lord Jesus Christ went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil. But he moved just beautifully. Everywhere he went, he moved naturally. He didn't run down to down to Jericho. You know, he didn't dash down because he was a bit late for the woman at the well. You know, he didn't run anywhere. And when he got in the boat, he didn't dash across the other side in case there was a storm. He went to sleep, and when they wanted to push him over the cliff, he did not dash right through the midst of them. He just walked right through the midst of them. He went his way. Why? Because he already in his mind, he knew exactly the will of the father and the will of the father was that everything should be in subjection to him, and everything should serve him. And he knew it. He knew it. So what did he do for the disciples in the boat who had peace? Jesus had peace. He was fast asleep. Why? Because he went to rest on his own words. And what were those words? I'm going across the other side, going over, not under the disciples because of the storm. Put two and two together and came up with this conclusion we're going under now. Their fear was so agitating them that they had already come to this conclusion that they were now about to be drowned. Terrorist. Not that we perish. What a situation there in the same boat as the Lord. And here they are shaking him care us not that we perish. Where's your peace of mind? Now surely the fact you're in the same boat as Jesus gives you peace of mind, do you? Have you noticed this being in the same boat of being in the same boat as Jesus did not exclude them from the circumstances round about them? Having the Lord inside you doesn't mean that you're not going to have a storm. You'll have quite a few storms, I can guarantee you. Now Jesus said, peace be still to the winds and waves he gave the winds and waves peace. But he also gave the disciples peace by the results. Now to the natural mind. If you want peace, everything has to be going well. Everything has to be going just right. But to the spiritual mind, our peace passes, our understanding. We don't know why we've got peace. We have no reason for our peace except that God is the reason. Yes, you do not have to reason why you have peace. We have peace because everything that comes our way or is working together for our good. Paul said, we know. Where do you know? In your feet. You know, in your head. We know, he said in Romans eight twenty eight, we know that all things work together for good to those that love the Lord, who are called according to his purpose. Now, today, if I could have a clear mind, a sound mind, a spiritual mind, if I could think just like the Lord, I would not be upset by anything, and I would begin to change my circumstances instead of my circumstances changing me. In other words, I would begin to confess with my mouth what I believed in my heart. As a man thinketh in his heart, so he is. What do you think you are? I am hopeless. Well, you go around acting hopeless and helpless. You go around the way you think. And now God is changing our thinking in Isaiah. If you'd like to turn quickly with me. Fifty five most of you are familiar with the verses. It follows just fifty four. Verse eight. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are my ways. Your ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For my thoughts are not your thoughts. Now God only thinks in perfection. God only thinks in his full knowledge. We are limited folks in our thinking. Isn't that not true? That's why we need a word of God's knowledge quite often for the things that are taking place in our life. Now the whole world outside thinks according to that which they have learned and their capacity to reason and think. But their thinking only in a natural realm without Thou God? Now when you think without God, you don't go upward, you go downward. You cannot think better than God. Mankind left alone without God is not going to think him in his way into heaven. You're not going getting. You're not getting into heaven head first. So in other words, you're not going to really get ahead with the head. You're going to get ahead with the heart. It's what you believe with your heart, not what you think with your head. But can you imagine now the whole world thinks a certain way and God says, your thoughts are not my thoughts. Neither are your ways, my ways. The Lord Jesus Christ, when he came, said, I am the way. Surely, Lord, we know the way. You don't know the way. There is a way that seemeth right unto man. The Bible teaches every man's way is right in his own eyes. But the Bible says there's only one way, and that's the way that Jesus came to show us. It's the way of life. It's the way of truth. It's Jesus Christ. Jesus said, I am the way. Now there's no clearer way than the Lord Jesus Christ and wonder about this. It's a narrow way, by the way. One good thing about it being a narrow way, you don't get many, too many people overtaking you. On the broad road to destruction, you get quite a few. As I've often said, that so many people trying to keep up with the Joneses today. Well, if you sit still, you'll meet him coming back. Is the way of peace. We understand, in other words, what God is doing. The world has planned many wonderful things. They have policies every government has and in every aspect of our society we have thought over very carefully over the hundreds and hundreds of years that have gone past how to solve our major problems. And it is not within the mind of man to solve the problems that he's got today. He doesn't have the answer in his mind. And the philosophers who've gone by have given hope for the future. When the future's caught up with us and it's worse than the past. We have all sinners today. People say the whole world's. They're all sinners. That's very interesting. They're all sinners. Well, educate them. And then what have you got? Educated sinners. We are not getting better with our methods or with our reason. So what is God really saying to us? Come, let us reason together. Your thoughts are not my thoughts. I don't think like you think. I think unselfishly. I think the best for you because I think in my love. Now you notice the different when a mother is planning for the child that she loves. She plans so many wonderful things thing, and also the parents will say for the child that they love. They plan some wonderful things. And so you also a wise plan for the husbands. A meal and you can see that it doesn't need any sauce on, you know, it's just flavored with love because they know just how to please their husbands. Some wives do, but they do it in love. Can't understand after the first two years when the husband complains and she says to him, but I thought you loved beans. Well, after two years of him, of course, he just fell out of love with beans. But you know what I what I mean, and so we plan today in our with a natural mind all that we can, but we are limited to natural things. Now the Lord Jesus Christ has come to set us free. Folks, it's wonderful. Medical science. Science are doing a wonderful job today. Man, in his reason and in his intellectual ability, has found many, many answers to the physical needs and mental needs of people. But he still hasn't found the answer. But we've got the answer to the physical needs of man. We've got the answer to the mental needs of man and to the spiritual needs of man. The Lord Jesus Christ is so up to date. I praise God for this book. I praise God for this book. You know, every, every, uh, you can think of, every textbook that you can name has to be revised nearly every year by some man man changing his textbook every year. But this textbook changes men. Hallelujah. And is right up to date. Right up to date. The Lord isn't trying to find an answer. He has already got the answer. All he wants you to do is to receive the mind of Christ. Now, this is an act of faith. I believe if you turn with me to two Corinthians, if you're interested in the scriptural aspect of this, you're not. You should be one Corinthians chapter two in the last verse. Very interesting point here. For who hath known the mind of the Lord? When God says, his ways of God's ways are past finding out. One Corinthians chapter two. It's the last verse. For who had known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him, but we have the mind of Christ. Now most of us have at one time or the other have studied some of the great philosophers, and we have maybe appreciated their reasoning and some of the wonderful works that they have left us. But you know, it's so precious to read the Bible. And go back constantly to the Bible and find there are so many levels of truth and wisdom that you could read the Bible every day of your life and still never plumb the depths. Isn't it so wonderful to know that? So there's enough information here coming from the mind of God, the Holy Spirit, inspiring this to be written so we can guarantee it? Now, who hath known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct him? God has never had to change his mind. Why? Because his first decision has been right. Isn't that lovely? Everything that God does is absolutely perfect. What people do to what God does is not always perfect. How they respond and react is not always perfect. But therefore when God does something, it is something he has behind it a reason. So God says, come, let us reason together. And he reveals to us not just what he's done, but why he's done it. And it's really precious when God shows you the things that he has allowed in your life. So we often say what God could have prevented with his power. He allows in his wisdom. Now there are people tonight, excuse me, that would give hundreds of dollars, thousands, millions in some cases just to have peace of mind. Not to be worried, not to be concerned or depressed. Not to be miserable, but just to have peace of mind. The greatest blessing I ever received, in my experience when I was converted, was the first tremendous wave of peace. Peace of mind. Only those that are tormented know our peace of mind. When? When everything is all right. Folks know tonight. If you've got peace of mind about your body, about your soul, about your spirit. Then you've got your information from his mind, not from your own. You are only free at that point. Now the world thinks, as I said, in a particular way. We think just like they think. So we are also doing the same things in the same limitations. Now God is changing all that. The Holy Spirit is moving all over the church worldwide, throughout the whole world. People are being filled with the Holy Spirit, and the first thing they get is what? Something to stimulate the mind. Something that will really, in other words, allow the mind to to go into ecstasy with the wonderful blessing of this little gift. What is all this? They speak in other tongues, but it doesn't do a thing for the mind. Not a thing. He that speaketh in unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but speak unto God. Nobody knows what he's saying. He doesn't know what he's saying. He's saying himself. He's now God giving us a gift today. What on earth do you get a gift like this for? You get it, for heaven's sake. Hallelujah! What a wonderful gift. It comes with the baptism in the Holy Spirit speaking in other tongues. How thrilling! What's it going to do for my mind? Something wonderful is going to put your mind into neutral so that you don't have to think. Wow. You mean. Wow. That's tremendous. Yes. You can enjoy this and enjoy that. He says the mind is unfruitful. He that speaketh in an unknown tongue and speaketh unto men. But the mind is unfruitful, because it does not understand what is being said. But you are being renewed in your spirit, built up spiritually. And quite often our mind gets in our way so that we can't enjoy our spiritual life. Now God has given us something really precious. Speaking in other tongues means that I can speak directly to God, and my mind needn't interfere with what I'm desiring or what I'm saying, or anything else like that. It's incredible, but it's true. So then, if I have, for instance, a lecture and I have no only five minutes break in between, I can speak in other tongues, refresh myself spiritually, and give my mind a rest. When I come back to my mind, it's refreshed, renewed and everything else and away I go again. If I'm taking exams and if I've got to think a lot. If I'm in business and there's so much coming in, I'm being inundated with, um, all sorts of things. I stop for a moment, I begin to speak in other tongues and release my Spirit to God. I'm lifted up spiritually to the realm of the spiritual mind. Hallelujah! But my mind now is clear, and I can receive the right thoughts to do the job the right way. Folks, we are at such an advantage that we are beginning to do our muddled. Quite often they are confused and they don't know the way out. All we've got today is words, words, words and words. Well, words are not the answer, but the Bible teaches us that we have the mind of Christ. And in Philippians two verse five it says, let this mind be in you. That was in Christ Jesus. So now today, what happens if I begin to think spiritually? Wow, you think as God would think as the Lord would think himself? Is that possible? You have the mind of Christ. That's a spiritual mind, correct? Thank you. It's a spiritual mind. God doesn't take your natural mind away, but your spiritual thoughts influence you and affect you in such a way that you act as if it was the Lord himself in a situation. Mm. That's very interesting, because when your mind starts to get facts, like Paul was getting facts in that shipwreck, remember in acts chapter, was it what is it? Acts twenty seven and he was going to have a shipwreck. Well, it wouldn't take very much to work out which way you're going to go if you have a shipwreck downwards. And what did Paul say? He got information from another source and immediately got information from above. He said, be of good cheer, for I believe God it shall be, even as the angel has said. Now when God speaks, your mind is immediately at peace, because what God says, uh, also, when you believe it, you receive peace with it. When God speaks to you, sorry, when you believe it, you receive peace with it because you know that everything is alright. God has committed Himself by His Word. Now I want you to turn with me right now, just to another few scriptures, because this is where it's all at at the moment. Two Corinthians chapter ten. Remembering. If most of you can remember in Genesis chapter six. That mankind, through the imaginations of his mind, just his imaginations, did some terrible things. When the imaginations when when imagination is allowed to run just any way, he begins to do and think some terrible things and all the things that man thought were against God and against God's rule and God's purpose. The spiritual mind has a divine order about it. It's really wonderful, a divine order. It brings order to the home, brings order to the business. It brings order to your life, to your body. Most of us are sick in our bodies because we are fearful in our minds. In verse four of two Corinthians chapter ten, for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. Can you imagine that? Casting down imaginations, all the things that you imagine casting down them? Because these are the strongholds of Satan. Most people imagine one day they're going to get cancer. Some people imagine all sorts of things are going to happen tomorrow, and their imagination allows them to come into such a fearful fretting that some of them get sick before they even leave their bed, or they don't want to get their bed. They imagine all sorts of things that people are talking about them, that people are saying this about them and that somebody is following them. And this is how the devil uses the mind to drag you down so that he can get at you or destroy you, or you can have a nervous or mental breakdown. Folks, you've got to be aware of Satan's devices. There are people, Christians who hear voices. I believe that when you hear the voice of the Lord, it cuts out all other voices, and you don't hear the voice of the Lord in the presence of Satan, you hear the voice of the Lord in the presence of the Lord. I believe you have to get closer to the Lord. Now it says also that that the God of this world has blinded the minds of those who who because we have it in two Corinthians chapter four verse four, in whom the God of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. People say to me, and I have heard it many times, I don't know why I'm here, and I don't know where I'm going. Well, I do know why I'm here and I know where I'm going. Well, where did I get that information? I didn't have it before I came to Christ. When you come to Christ, you have a purpose in life. And it's wonderful because God begins to reveal to you. And your thoughts are not just inspired, but they're also creative. They're creative. Remember that Christianity has brought a tremendous amount of creative activity throughout the world. You can see our society in every way. Um, well, don't look at it too much, but you understand what I mean. There are other religions that you can mention if you like, and you'll find that they're not creative because the Lord is not in them. So what happens? You have them binding up the people and stopping progress. But Christianity not alone does it allow your progress, but allows you to go beyond your ability to go beyond your reason, your capacity to think God can reveal to you what you can't find out with your reason? Think of that. Tomorrow. God says, take no thought for tomorrow. Most of us do. We live in tomorrow before today is finished. The reason is because we are fearful. We do not have peace of mind. The Christian only lives now. Today. Hallelujah. Because tomorrow he'll have the same great God. And whatever comes tomorrow will be only an opportunity to prove his God. He can't fail because he's God can't fail. His walk isn't dependent on himself or his ability. It's dependent on his God. The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord. The Bible teaches us in Psalm thirty seven. God has ordered our steps. Divine steps. And even though he shall fall, he shall not be utterly cast down, for the Lord upholds him with his hand. When you fall down, then you fall on your face. You pick yourself up first on your knees. That's always a good way to get up, Christian. First on your knees. A little theology never affected your theology, and then you stand up. But you'll notice that you're still going forward. You haven't lost any ground by falling if you get up. Thank you. So now, going forward, then we need direction. Today. We need God to speak to us today. We need to be going together in one place. And who on earth is going to inform us all? What to say, what to do? The Holy Spirit, he's here and I meet Christians now in different parts of the world, and they're talking to me about a revelation that I got from God in in Sweden. And they're talking to me about it in New Zealand of all places. How on earth did it get there? The last place you'd expect God to reveal anything. But sure enough, he he does. And it's wonderful. And you think, well, we're all now coming in to the active one, mind of Christ. And folks, this is it. This is it. We're now thinking the same things and we are saying the same things. Isn't it wonderful? I think it's fantastic. Now, it says here that the world that the that the God of this world had blinded the minds of them that believed not. And I have discovered that those people that have chosen not to believe or not to seek God, or not to reach out for them if you speak to them. They didn't even notice that church they went past. They didn't even notice the Gideon Bible in their motel. They didn't even notice the Christian, you know, that was preaching on the street corner. They didn't notice anything. Do you know they don't even understand that there's a hereafter. Their minds are so blind that if you stop them dead and say you're going to hell. What? Going to hell. I stopped a man one day. I was going past him. And I never do this unless I'm told to. And as I went past him, the Lord said, go back and speak to that man about his soul. I'd never seen him before in my life. Fortunately, I believe that every man has a soul. Why didn't I be a proper heel? So anyway, I went right back to speak to this man about his soul. And you know, it's incredible. I stopped in front of him and I looked at him and I said, do you know something? I never introduced myself, never explained anything. God says, go and speak to him about his soul. Don't speak to him about the weather, whether or not he's got one. But I spoke to him directly. I said, do you know you have done nothing about your soul? He said, I didn't know you had to. I said. Of course. Why do you think Christ died on the cross? I don't know. And I told him. And when I finished the man, I tell you, his mind was completely blinded. And he shook me by the hand, and he thanked me very much. The folks out there are not rejecting Christ. They're absolutely blinded. Now the young people are drawing attention to Jesus Christ. And the devil's got to do something quick. He's got to blind the minds again. So what does he do? They're looking for a savior, but he doesn't want them to find a savior. So what is he giving him now? No. A superstar. Jesus Christ superstar. He's a superstar. Amen. Not a saviour, a healer. No, no, we don't want him. We don't want him like that. So the devil is presenting him so that he's ineffective. We should be presenting him so that he's effective. Now, I believe then the devil is out to capture the mind. You can't read a book. You can't see anything. He's out to catch hold of the mind, to the imagination. How do you think people sell things? Oh, you would look tremendous in this. And get your pride out and think. Yes, I think that would suit me fine. The next thing you bought it and you don't know what to do with it. The devil is out to capture our minds. He wants it for a very good reason. He doesn't want us to have peace of mind. He wants to drag us down and destroy us. And the best place to start is with the mind. If the devil can have your mind just for one week, what he plants in there, he's going to reap later on, and what is planted in your mind in an early age, many people wish they hadn't seen some things and heard some things because they keep coming back. They wish they could get rid of some of the things. Well, there is a way. Believe it or not, there's healing of the memories today. And because the mind has been damaged by some of the things we have been so geared to living such a sensual life and such a materialistic life, that most of us don't know how to live a spiritual life. It's unnatural. It's unnatural. It shouldn't be so. Now, how am I going to be changed from the world? Where do I start? How am I going to be changed when I give my life to Christ? There's going to be a change now. This is what the Bible teaches. If any man be in Christ Jesus. In two Corinthians chapter five, verse seventeen, he is a new creature, or as the Greek implies, a new creation, a completely new creature, a new creation. Well, I'm not going to stay new very long if my mind is old. So what's he going to do for me? He's going to give me the mind of Christ. Right, a spiritual mind. Now I begin to think as Christ thinks. And what does he think in? He thinks in the positive, not in the negative. My natural mind might give me the information. There is a negative, but my spiritual mind gives me information. There's a positive. Or as Paul puts it in two Corinthians chapter six, verse ten, having nothing. That's really negative, isn't it? Thank you. Yet possessing all things. See, there's nothing lacking in the spiritual realm, but you've got to possess all things with your conversation. That's right. You've got to confess. Possess by confessing. Right. And then he said, sorrowful in the natural, yet always rejoicing in the spiritual. So everything can be all wrong in the natural. And it's all right in the spiritual. Where are you going to live? You make your choice, you see with your mind and say, oh, I'm am miserable. I remember saying that to the Lord one day and he said to me, very beautifully said, I'm miserable. Lord, have you ever said that to the Lord? You haven't. Well, I have, I'm miserable. And he said, where are you living? In my presence there is fullness of joy. It's true. I was living in my feelings. I had deducted that everything was wrong. I had problems here, problems there, and by the time I was finished, life wasn't worth living. And there I was. My mind now, sentencing me to suicide. Basically, it could have been worse. I could have had trouble with my wife as well. But it wasn't that. Now you see what I'm trying to say, don't you? Many, many Christians have committed suicide. They've been completely deluded, overcome by evil spirits. Some of them, and some of them have been deceived in their mind. Robbed. Torn down, beaten. Constant barrage of thoughts and things coming in. It's very, very difficult to overcome without the mind of Christ. We have to bring every thought into obedience to Christ. Your mind will run all over the place, right? Every thought into obedience. Why? Because God wants to reveal to you what he says in that situation, or what he's going to do in that situation. Not just what you've deducted. We will always be the same as the world when we get facts in our natural mind. We'll always deduct them and come to the same conclusion. Now, I believe we're not going to do that any longer. This is the day of the mind of Christ. God showed me this, that you can believe by faith and receive this and you can experience it, and I have. Now I want to just bring a thought to you that is just in conclusion. That's hard to believe, but I know it's true. I'm going to conclude. In Romans chapter twelve. Now, I believe that the church should be completely changed. And there's only one way to be changed. And this is it. And I want you to listen very carefully to these words. Be not conformed to this world. Paul didn't say, as in Rome, do as the Romans do. When in Rome. Be not conformed, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God. It doesn't say this in everything, but it means in everything. Now the will of God is the best way of doing something. The will of God is the best way. There isn't a better way than the will of God. If you had the will of God in your business, in your home life, in your, in your, in your, whatever you're doing, whatever you're involved in your ministry, if you have the will of God in it, you are doing things the best way. Now, if you're doing things the best way, then everybody else can see the wrong way. Jesus said, I am the way. He wasn't saying everybody else was wrong. He was just saying that he was right. There is a difference, you know. So now today we're going to start to do and act differently, not because we are trying to do so or I've set myself a set of rules and regulation today. I will be different than the world. I'm going to say, praise the Lord. Nobody else in the world would say, praise the Lord, praise the Lord. Now I am different, certainly not different. You see, praise the Lord. Amen. Be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Now tell me you take a little miserable wretch like anybody in particular. All right. Myself, Since nobody wants to own this description. You take a wretch like myself. Now I can only think in my fear, my bondage, and. And in my inability and my inhibitions. And. And I think I can do nothing. I'm nobody right now. Put a new mind into me. Put the mind of a a mighty warrior a warrior. The mind of the person that's not frightened of Satan or sickness. The mind that's got the answer to every person's need. Put that mind in me and see what happens. Oh my goodness me. Now I begin to think. You see, like a son, I begin to think like a king. I begin to think like a conqueror. I begin to think in health. I begin to think in wealth. I begin to plan. In health. I begin to plan in peace. And that which is positive I begin to plan in life. In other words, I'm set free by the mind of Christ. Now you can inherit your family's choice and their vision and and their limits. I know people, believe it or not, their family lived in a small little square house with one room, and that's the first thing they look for when they're married are small, square house with one room, and that's the first thing they look for the grandchildren. A small square house with one room. You see what I mean? You have the mind of your parents. There's no doubt about it. You've been indoctrinated. Most of us have been indoctrinated. Do you realize that we have all had the limits of our society pushed upon us? You can't have this. You can't have that. Why? Because you can't afford it. Now, folks, I've got news for you. Your father has opened up an account for you. When Christ died on the cross, Christ left everything in his will for you. He rose again to dish it out. Hallelujah to make sure you get it now he was made poor, that through his poverty you might be made rich. You'll find that in two Corinthians chapter eight verse nine, God doesn't want us living down on the squalor of this earth. They call us the scum of the earth. That's what they call Christians. Well praise God. But remember, the scum always comes out on top. Hallelujah! Preach it brother. Preach it. We're now living in a day that God has to change us to the people that he has made us. We are more than conquerors through him that loved us to think differently. It's very difficult to think. You know, in in something new, when you have for so long been thinking in something old, isn't it? It's hard. You have to catch yourself. You hear yourself saying, I can't do it. Hands up those that can't. Most of us. Yes, most of us could say we can't. There's a whole lot of things we can't do. But what does the Bible say now? What can't Jesus do? But there's nothing. There's nothing he can't do. Good. Right. Now we're getting it. All right. I put you in. Christ. What does that help? How does that help you? I can do all things through Christ, which strengtheneth me. Philippians four, verse thirteen. I can do all things through Christ. I can do all. We don't want to know about that. Don't you see what I mean? You move out of your mind into his. You move out of your ability, into his by faith. And if we can't do it, what's the point of asking us to represent him down here as he is? So are we in this world. The Lord Jesus Christ had no limits put on him in that sense. He walked on the water. Praise God! Has anybody done that? Yes, Peter did it. Well, if Peter did it, so can we. If it was necessary. Amen. If it was necessary. Has the water been turned into wine today? Yes, it has been turned into wine. In Indonesia, the water has been turned into wine. That's wonderful. The water also has been turned into petrol. On the borders of Russia, when somebody prayed over the tank because they had no petrol and they prayed and filled it up with water and prayed. I know the person personally and God turned it into petrol. And also I have had no petrol in my tank emptied and I knew how much it was in there, and there was a schoolteacher present and we prayed. There was no way I could get to the school. I'd run out of petrol. I had to get there in time. And I prayed and God put petrol in the tank. I know he put petrol in the tank because I shook it and everything else, and we went another hundred yards. And then I prayed there was no petrol in that car. I knew how much I had before the very last drop of a gallon. In those days, I used to only be able to afford a gallon. And I think somebody is recorded that I nearly went for three weeks or two weeks in one place on one gallon of petrol. And you'll never believe some of the things that have happened to us because we were in need of those things. In other words, we didn't believe that when we came to the end of ourselves, we'd come to the end of our God. Now, what I'm saying tonight is this. That the mind of Christ allows me to continue when the natural mind, by act of reason, allows me to go no further. Folks, we're going further. We're on the way. And on that word, let us pray. When the doctor says there is no hope. When the doctor says there is no hope. It's wonderful to have the mind of Christ. When it's impossible with man. Jesus said, it's possible with God. Now there's nothing tonight. Impossible. So I'm going to pray for people tonight. And you're you're saying in your heart I want peace of mind. I want to know that everything is square between me and God. I don't want to be worried in my mind whether my sins are forgiven or whether everything's right in the past. I want my past completely blotted out. I want a completely new start with a new life. And I'm going to pray for everyone tonight in this hall that has that desire. I'm going to ask you to indicate this to me by just standing up where you are in this hall. Now, I want you to think, just before you do this tonight, you are committing your life to Christ. You are saying, Lord, this is as far as I can go. I want to go the rest of the way with you. And there's a long way to go, you see, with Christ as an endless hope. Without him there's a hopeless end. And I believe tonight that if you commit your life completely to Christ, you can leave this building with a peace that passeth all understanding. Now let me tell you what happens. First of all, God takes away your spirit of fear. Isn't that lovely? Isn't that wonderful? What does he give you? Then? We'll find it in two Timothy one seven. God has not given to us the spirit of fear, but love and power. And what a sound mind. Now, if that's your desire tonight to get right with God and to have peace of mind, I'm going to ask you right now just to stand where you are, just where you are. Any person in the meeting and you know in your heart that this is your need. I'm in this condition. My mind is torn apart. I have no peace. I don't have Christ living in my heart. Because to have Christ living in your heart means that you've got the Prince of Peace. Now we have.
