Mark Sisson is the godfather of the ancestral health movement and the founder of
Primal Kitchen. In 2006, he founded
Mark's Daily Apple in order to empower people to take control of their health. Prior to starting Mark's Daily Apple, Mark was an accomplished runner and Triathlete, with a top 5 finish in the 1980 US National Marathon Championships and a qualifying spot for the
1980 US Olympic Trials. He was featured in an Outside Magazine article, calling him
"The Pied Piper of Paleo" which is a true testament to his impact on growing the alternative health movement. In our conversation with Mark, we discuss his transition from athlete to entrepreneur, his
multi-million dollar sale of Primal Kitchen to Kraft-Heinz, his journey from starting a frozen yogurt stand to launching a restaurant, his health principles, and most recently the launch of Mark's new company
Peluva - a minimalist shoe company rethinking how we address foot health.
