Well, well, well, look who the cat dragged in. If it isn't the PsyQuest podcast book club hosts. And we're almost back. We are a week away from our next season. So in Jonathan Parlance, buckle up.

Jonathan:

What do they have to look forward to, Jonathan? We are starting off with two past midnight, secret window, secret garden. It'll be a two part series. And our guest, you probably heard this one of the previous announcements, will be Jess with some hot takes for two past midnight. And then your favorite characters are coming back right after that.

Slava:

Locke and John? Yes. Because everybody else is dead?

Jonathan:

They are. They are. They are. They are. How you're, like, mid read on that right now.

Jonathan:

How do you like it so far?

Slava:

Yeah. I like it. I think it's a little slower paced than the first book. Not in a bad way. Just my observation.

Slava:

Kinda like the first book better, but you told me to wait until the end. So I'm excited for that. As we're recording this announcement, once it comes out, I will be fully immersed under the red water. Let's send those red skies. Whatever that means.

Slava:

I'm looking forward to it.

Jonathan:

Red seas under red skies. The ending is a bit like a Sander Lanche.

Slava:

Oh, okay.

Jonathan:

That's why I'm telling you, like and it's not it's not as epic and heroic the way that a Sander Lanche would be. It's more morose and disheartening like the first book where a bunch of terrible stuff happens. Can't wait. So I I I knew you'd love this series. I've said it before.

Jonathan:

I'll say it again. And honestly, I'm, like, super looking forward to Scott Lynch overcoming his stuff in his life to get the edits out for the book four. It's supposed to be seven books, actually. We only have three. Oh, wow.

Jonathan:

And he's wrote two novellas that kinda link between some of the books. So he's working on it, albeit slowly, but I'm Can relate? Yes. Can relate. Anyway, we are back very, very soon.

Jonathan:

I believe it's about a week away now. And, yeah, we can't wait to be back with two past midnight.

Slava:

We'll see you next week, folks.
