Hey, everyone.
We're here at RacketX, and now we're
at the Adidas Padel booth with John,
John, National Sales, and Kathleen,
marketing guru for Adidas Padel.
So, so excited.
We love this brand.
Adidas is being the, one of
the leading padel brands.
You guys have the players, you guys
have the looks, you have everything.
Why don't you tell us about- Excuse me.
Bumpy … what's up with Adidas
Padel and, um, what's coming in 2026?
And action.
Well, what's coming in 2026 is what you
see in front of us, uh, the Metalbone.
Uh, I don't think we need to say a lot
about that with Ale Galan signature model.
Same.
Um, but the surprise probably is
the Crosshit Light right here,
uh, Martin Ortega's pro model.
Yeah.
Our best-selling padel.
We've already sold out once.
We have three more shipments.
We're back in stock.
We're totally excited about
that, and the new Aero line.
This is AeroHit Control.
Um, that is a brand new racket for us.
Uh- And keep us- C- can you talk
to us a little bit more about this?
This is a new…
Uh, this is its own
collection, or w- Yeah.
So this one took over for the Adipower.
Oh, okay.
And so what they did is they basically
cut the bulk down in the heart, and
they also added some dampening into
the heart, and then, uh, changed
a whole new weight distribution.
Yeah, can we show that to the camera?
Yes.
What is it?
And how does that work?
How do you… What is it?
You bring it up and
down, those- Up and down.
Oh, yeah.
You change the balance point.
Okay.
Which in turn, if you change the balance
point, you're also gonna be changing
the sweet, center of the sweet spot.
Wow.
And then you have that little
tool that you used to have in
the other, in the other package.
The Absoraque tool.
Same tool that comes with the Metalbone,
it'll come with all the Aeros.
And this one is the original
where you, you move this?
Correct.
Okay.
Correct.
Uh, do you, do you anticipate this, uh,
moving into some of the other collections?
No, I think it's- That's its own?
That's its own model, and that's its
own thing, just like Metalbone is.
Yeah, yeah.
Just like Crosshit here
is with the aerodynamics.
Okay.
So it's, it's unique to each
pillar of, or family of, of padels.
So you said before we started,
uh, recording this that the
Martin Ortega racket is the
best-selling racket in the planet.
That's a huge statement.
It is a huge statement.
When I lo- why?
I don't know why, but I'm happy about it.
No, no, no, we, we did a review
on this racket last year.
It's got… It is my number
one racket for women's.
Yeah, it is.
It is an amazing balance racket.
Control, power, I mean, easy to use.
I love this racket.
Uh, I, I gave one to my wife.
She plays with it.
It is an amazing racket.
It… The design is always, every
year, really, really beautiful.
Yeah, sometimes it just takes a
different cosmetic change to create
that sort of demand, and obviously
we're super thrilled about it.
Uh, but globally I know that this
is just on fire, unbelievable.
Yeah.
Kenton, why don't you tell us
about what is the, uh, marketing
strategy to keep having Adidas
Padel in the, in the top front?
Right.
There you go.
Yeah, absolutely.
Uh, here in the US, I think
the, the number one goal for
us is a grassroots initiative.
Uh, we love to help support the growth
of Padel across the club ecosystem.
Um, so anything we can do to support
youth development, programming, clinics,
um, that's what we're really aiming
to do here in 2026 and, uh, make sure
that the paddles that are being put
in players' hands is an Adidas racket.
Um, obviously with footwear and apparel
as well, uh, the Crazyquick shoe has
been doing extremely well for us.
And so, um, anything we can
do from coaching to clinics,
um, and player activation.
Specifically on that, I mean,
are you going grassroots,
coaches, um, um, juniors?
Uh, what is the strategy there?
Yeah, the strategy first and
foremost is, uh, coaches.
Um, if we can sponsor and encourage the
coaches to promote the brand, that's,
uh, the number one step, and I think
that there's a synon- synonymous,
uh, adaptation of Adidas already.
Um, here in the US,
everyone loves the brand.
Um, they know it from soccer and
everything else, or football.
Um, and so I think Adidas already
is a kind of something that everyone
recognizes, and so from a grassroots
perspective, uh, somebody trying
Padel for the first time, they're
recognizing the brand, and through
the programming with the youth, the
clinics, um, we're really trying to push
the paddles and the product that way.
So Adidas Padel, is it different
to Adidas Padel Courts?
Who can answer that one?
Yes and no.
Um, we're a part of the AFP group, and
so here in the United States, we are a
company called All Racket Sports, which
our parent company is AFP, the AFP Group.
And so AFP has products and they
have courts, so it's the same pair
of pants, just different pockets.
Okay.
Quick question, and we had many clubs
asking, "Can I have the logo of my
club like Reserve has on the metal
bone?" Adidas does that, or was that
a very exclusive deal with Reserve?
Who can answer that one?
If you wanna, basically pay to play.
If you wanna do it, we'll
come up with a solution.
There's just obviously minimums, uh,
with anything you do, like- So if
I'm a club owner, I wanna put the
logo behind the Metalbone, would,
uh, Adidas will be able to do it?
And obviously m- MOQs
and, uh, things like that.
Let's talk.
Good.
Great.
Okay, th- let me ask you a question.
What are the resale costs of the
Crosslight and the Metalbone?
Pardon?
Uh- Resale cost.
for the Crosslight and 455 for the
Metalbone here in the United States.
Great.
Uh, anything else coming up
on the 2026, uh, pipeline?
Yeah, I think we've got a bunch.
Uh, we have World Cup paddles coming.
Uh, we will also have our traditional
pro editions that come out, the three.
Wait, wait, wait a minute.
Go t- go back to that World-
World Cup paddle.
What is that?
Tell, tell all our audience.
So this is a intermediate type of
paddle, but it's a really, um- Let's take
it … I don't, how do you wanna say that?
Uh, spe- it's a special edition for sure.
Uh, surrounded by the World Cup.
We will have three models.
We, you know, since the World Cup's
being played in, quote, "North America",
we will have a North American paddle,
we will have a USA paddle, and we
will also have a Mexico paddle.
So what do you mean a
North America and a USA?
Well, what's the difference between those?
American flag, and then it'll be like a, a
North America where it's kind of a- group
of Canada, US, and Mexico kind of design,
and it will also have a Mexico design.
Can our audience get a
sneak peek of those models?
Uh, we will have to talk about that.
Would love to see that.
And, and let's talk a little
bit about, about shoes.
Your, your go-to go back
in the day was Barricade.
Barricade, I don't know at
what number are, are you guys
now, probably at Barricade 75?
Not quite.
I loved the Barricade back in the day.
Uh, what are you guys
doing for padel shoes?
Well, for padel shoes, uh, Adidas last
year created the men's Crazyquicks,
as well as the Courtquick padel shoe.
And we've had tremendous success,
'cause that's a, a shoe that
was built from the ground up.
So it wasn't just a preexisting shoe
and they slapped the word padel on it.
It's, it's made for padel courts and
padel play, so pretty excited about that.
The Barricade, uh, to your point,
is actually the 14, which is a much
lighter shoe than previous models of
the 13 or 12, but we also carry that
at ARS, as well as the Defiant Spades.
Okay.
Captain, best way for players to
get their hands on these rackets and
for club owners to open accounts?
Matthew.
Yeah, I think the, the best way
for, uh, anybody that's looking to
purchase or try an Adidas racket
is to go to your local padel club.
Uh, your… Our goal is to be
in every single club in America.
Um, we're doing our best
with our sales team to do so.
Um, obviously we also sell all
of these on allracketsports.com.
Uh, what was the other question?
Sorry.
Uh, club owners.
Club owners, if you have any
interest, uh, reach out to us
at info@allracketsports.com.
We will connect you with our local sales
reps, uh, as well as we could probably,
depending on where this is living,
uh, connect John and myself directly.
So looking forward to growing
the sport here in the US.
Great.
I've got one opportunity,
if you don't mind.
Go ahead.
Uh, we're, we're currently hiring
for a sales rep position for
the West Coast, so California,
uh, Washington, or, uh, Oregon.
Those three states we're,
we're willing to talk.
Great.
Uh, also link to Padel Smash
Academy open, job openings.
Uh.
You love that idea.
Thank you.
Thank you, guys.
Good.
All the best luck.
Thanks.
We love the brand.
Great rac- great rackets, man.
You know, keep on pushing.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Hey, padelers.
We're here at Racket X, and
right here we're, right now
we're at the booth of Babolat.
Premium racket, one of the
top brands in the world.
And next to me we have the beautiful
and top player in the world, Alejandra
Alonso.
She's number 12 in the world right
now, and she's also a Babolat player.
Alejandra- What a great
pleasure to have you here.
Tell us a little bit of where
you're from and, uh, everything
related to, to, to Babolat.
Well, uh, yes, I'm Alejandra Alonso.
I'm from Valladolid, Spain.
Uh, little city near Madrid.
And yeah, I'm very happy
to be here with you.
With both of, of you.
Uh, also in Miami, uh, with, with this
brand, this amazing brand, Babolat.
Uh, we are like a little
family, so yeah, I'm very happy.
How long have you been
playing with Babolat?
With Babolat?
Uh, three years, I think.
Yeah, three years.
Good.
So how long have you been playing
padel, and have you played
another racket sport before?
Yeah, I play tennis before padel, and
I start playing padel at 12 because
my mother play, so- I play with him So
actually, so how, how did you decide
to transition from tennis to padel?
Uh, well, because I play in … When
I was, uh, young, I g- make everything
with, uh, we are four friends and
we make like everything together.
We play football together, we play
padel together, we play tennis together.
And one year, uh, my friends,
like, they leave the tennis and
they start playing padel, so I
start play padel with, with them.
The influence of friends, right?
Yeah.
The peer pressure.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
So how did you, uh, decide to
use Babolat or work with Babolat?
'Cause there's a lot of brands out there.
What made you decide, "Hey, I wanna,
I wanna work with Babolat?" Yeah, when
Babolat call me to sponsor me, uh, I,
I, I'm very happy because Babolat is,
just I said, is like a little family.
It's a very in- it's a international
brand, uh, at tennis, padel.
They have a lot, um,
players, very famous, so it's like a
pleasure to be part of this family.
There's a long history there.
Alejandra, let me … You know, I m-
I know padel players are very picky.
You know, they want certain
weight on the racket, on the top.
It's … And this, this is the racket
that you play with, or your racket is
customized specifically for your game?
No, no, this is the, the
racket I, I play with.
Uh, you can … Well, you have it in,
in your hands, and this is the same.
And why, why did you decide
for the Technical Viper?
I know the, the Counter
Viper or, or the Air.
What, what, how, what, what make
you start playing with this one?
I decide because, uh, I need a little
bit of potential, and I think this, this-
Power … this … Yeah, power, and I
think this racket has the power I, I need.
Um, it's hard, the, this,
the … How do you say?
The- The shape … the
shape is like perfect.
It's diamond shape, right?
Yeah.
Yeah.
And also, it's very beautiful.
I know.
We love it.
And, and quick question: What sides do you
play, and who's your partner right now?
Uh, my partner right now
is Alejandra Salazar.
Wow.
Yeah.
You
know her?
The ob- Who doesn't
know Alejandra Salazar?
Uh-huh.
Yeah, yeah.
I just start playing this year
with, with her, and I'm very happy.
And what's the other question you told?
So what side you play,
forehand or backhand?
Uh, in, in backhand.
Backhand.
Oh, in Spanish.
Where is backhand?
Backhand, backhand.
Good.
And, and may-, if you play backhand,
mean, meaning that you, you're a,
a very powerful, you know, player.
Yeah, like, I like to just smash ball.
So what, what, what's your favorite shot?
My favorite shot, the smash.
The smash.
Yeah, yeah.
So, for treasure?
For three, yeah, yeah, it's for smash.
Thank you very much.
Thank you, Ana.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thanks for coming on the show, Ana.
Thanks.
Good, good luck.
Thank you.
Thanks.
Good, good luck here in Miami, okay?
Yeah.
Hey, Padelists.
We're here at Racket X, and we're at
the Babolat booth with Jose Luis Sans,
the head of Padel for Babolat worldwide.
So excited to have you here, Jose.
Tell us about all the great things a-
about Babolat Padel is doing and is
bringing into the market, and how are you
planning to conquer the American market?
Well, I think, you know, as we, we take
a lot of, uh, a lot of opportunities.
Um, we are building an ecosystem of
partners which allow us to spread
the Padel word around the world.
I mean, like an example,
we have Lamborghini.
I mean, we did a great partnership
where we are developing a, an, an
amazing and exclusive product that
we bring to the US market as well.
You know, when we talk about the US,
we are focusing a lot on activation.
So we wanna increase the
community of players- We focus
as well on the educational part.
I mean, there is a, a lot of about lack of
knowledge about the product that they have
to try and that they have to purchase.
Um, by that, what I mean is
that the most expensive racket
padel is not the best one.
It could be the best one, but it doesn't
mean it's the best one for each player.
So we focus on that.
So we focus on field activation, making
sure that, uh, everyone knows about
padel in the country, and then the
educational part because we wanna make
sure that, you know, when somebody
get into padel, they get a great
experience and they will repeat again.
Let me ask this.
So now, um, Babolat has, um, a b-
strong roots here in the USA when
it comes to other racket sports.
Correct.
How does padel compare to that?
How can it reach the same type of
strength and roots for… like,
like the other sports rackets?
Well, that, that is
clearly a great advantage.
Of course.
I mean, we are in the country.
Yes.
We are well-known in the
country, thanks to the tennis.
Uh, when the sport is starting in
the country, we already implement
it because we have our own
subsidiary with our own people.
Not like the other brands in padel that
they have to look for distributors.
Right.
Uh, not Wilson and Head because they have
subsidiaries as well, but that is a great
advantage, and of course, we are, we are
in a, a strong position in, already in
the US market- Yeah … thanks to that.
I think about that.
I mean, it's far from tennis- Yeah
because we don't have still
yet, I mean, the same number
of padel courts like in tennis.
Mm-hmm.
So it's gonna grow, and we expect
to grow as the sport is growing.
So now, as we go out in the USA and
see many clubs, all the clubs in, uh,
whether New England, Texas, West Coast,
we see a lot of Wilson and Adidas,
you know, penetrating the clubs.
Is that some… Yeah, your strategy in
the next couple years doing the same?
Well, we do have that approach in the
sport, which is, I mean, all the brands
will try to do the same in a way.
The point of differentiation is that
we really focus on premium clubs.
Got you.
So it's not about, uh, quantity-
Quality … it's about quality.
The- Because, uh, we focus
on premium clubs because we
want to activate the clubs.
The product.
So it's not putting the
flag of the brand there.
It's all the activation that we
are talking about, demo days,
tournaments, et cetera, et cetera.
That is what's matter to us.
So now we also see other, uh,
companies, uh, moving into other areas,
apparel, courts, uh, other products.
Are you guys gonna do the same?
I mean, we, we are already
a 360 equipment brand.
So we have the rackets, we
have the footwear, we have the
clothing- Yeah … we have the
accessories, we have the balls.
And we will stay there Okay, okay.
So- That was my question,
yeah … we are not planning to go
into the course building- Are you?
nothing like that.
That's not our core business.
Okay.
And we, we've been approached by
many brands to partner with us
because of the strength of Bubble,
but that is not our core business.
We leave that one for the others.
And so glo- now globally, is there any
emerging markets or any new countries
that you see a lot of po- potential
in that it, that has big growth in
padel that you guys are moving into?
Well, I, I mean, we
are already everywhere.
Yeah, yeah.
Once again, that's the tennis.
When you talk about Europe, UK
is moving- Yeah … big time.
So Germany is start to wake up-
Mm-hmm … despite the difficulties.
So they are setting up
the clubs and the course.
But then when you go more
Far East, I mean, uh, India.
India.
Which is- With Indonesia … Indonesia.
Even though in China, but China is too
big- Ah … so you don't feel it yet.
But, you know, we are, as I say, we are
already looking into these countries
because, I mean, it's where the padel
is just gonna keep growing and growing.
Yes, yes.
Oh, you, so you guys are
looking into the areas then?
Yeah.
I mean, we are already there.
Yeah, right.
And we are already doing business there.
Because as I said, we have
partners already in the countries.
Right.
Right.
So that's, that is a
job which is done by us.
So, Jose Luis, what is your
strategy here in the US to start
pushing the brand to the front?
You know, so I, I guess you
guys started a little bit
You hold back a little bit
before the big push into padel.
So what is your strategy now in
2026 and going forward to really
push padel into the mainstream?
Because I know you guys did quite a
few Lamborghini padel partnerships.
Uh, you, you're doing
it all over the country.
So what is the strategy there?
Well, we are, you know, we are focusing
on, on events that we consider they
are gonna be relevant for the future
of the padel in the US, like, we, we
support the Anglo Cup, okay, which
is gonna happen in Mi- here in Miami
next, uh, I think it's next spring '27.
So it was, uh, it was in the UK this year.
Yeah.
And it's gonna happen here again.
We support the US Open of
Padel with Padel House as well.
And as I say, we do a
lot of elite activation.
We sign with Nico Alfunteli,
which is a pure makeup.
You, you know, it's one thing
that is interesting is that
padel is very much a Latin sport.
Right.
So we could have the number one
padel player in the US, but it's an
Argentinian guy or a Spanish guy.
So we focus on some- Not an American.
We … At least from the United States.
I mean, they, they have-
So Nico's a great guy.
He's fantastic.
They have passion.
Yeah, yeah.
You know?
They're younger generations and- Correct.
Yeah.
But that, that's why we look into Nico.
We look into somebody which is pure
American that represent the American side.
Very smart.
Very smart.
So that's, that's the kind of approach.
And then as I say, we're gonna
keep doing activations with
Lamborghini, with other partners,
so that's, uh, what we are focusing.
So, so g- let's go back to
Lamborghini and, and, and padel.
How did you come up with that
partnership, and, um, what is the vision
and the mission on that partnership?
One, that's a really technical
partnership, so it's nothing
to do with a co-branding.
I mean, of course, there is a
co-branding on the product, but there
is a technological development behind.
S- So, uh, we apply technology which
is applied in the supercars, and we
apply that technology on the rackets.
So we use- What technology is that?
We use materials like Corian.
It's a material that they use
on the cars to mold the carbon.
We use the same carbon as
they use in the supercars.
Yeah.
And there's some other
things that I cannot say.
Sorry.
So a lot… I mean, so it's a, it b-
it's not like a painted, uh, color,
you know, it's a specific Lamborghini
racket, and that's why it's so
exclusive because, I mean, that racket
goes, it, it, it's pretty expensive.
It's a- I was looking… The, my
dealer, I have a Lamborghini, so my
dealer sent me… I, I said, "I, I, I'm
interested in it." And he sent me one.
He said, "It, this is how much it costs."
I'm like, "Oh, man, I don't know if I…
If I, I like the, the, the, the… I
like the racket, but, uh, it's kind of a
lot." Let's say with, with Lamborghini,
there are a few rackets on the range.
There is one racket that we don't even
produce, that is produced by Lamborghini-
Wow … in Sant'Agata, in Italy.
Yes.
Which that racket, that
racket is 6,000 euros.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
And we only produce 50- That's
euros … we only… Yes, euros.
And we only produce 50 units.
Usually, that racket
doesn't go in the market.
That's great.
It's already sold out as soon
as we announce we have a launch.
I… Yeah.
And then you have the commercial
range, which is the one we produce-
Oh, yeah … which is only, I
mean- So what's- It's only $700.
Right, right.
No, what's the other one that, that-
Well, you were looking at the other
one, but the other one is to…
Even though you wanna pay
for it, you cannot get it.
Oh, Jesus.
Well, I was… I, I was, I was offered
it , but I, I, I said, "Uh, it was, it
was too much." So, so here, here that we
have it, the Lamborghini racket finally.
Correct.
So tell me, tell me all about this racket.
What i- what is the big
difference to this one?
Well, the big difference is…
Well, there are a few d- difference to
the Corian part, the one that I'm telling
you, is, is a part which is inside the
racket, which is in the, in the heart
of the racket, which is giving a lot
of stability to the racket and it's
helping on the powerful, on the power.
Then there is a top sheet technology that
made the racket, even though it's really
powerful, it's a comfortable racket.
Oh, okay.
Which is one, like, key things
today in the market is, like,
everyone is looking for power, for,
for power and power, but power is
related many times to hard rackets.
You sacrifice control.
And you sacrifice control and comfort.
Yeah.
Comfort, you're right.
Within this racket, you
get almost everything.
You get the power when you need.
I mean, we call it power on demand.
So maybe I should have
bought it, then, eh?
Maybe.
I, I… I mean, the, the, the other one,
I mean, the one at 6,000
euros is a piece of art.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I mean, it's almost like
a collector's racket.
It is.
Yeah, yeah.
It's a collection racket.
Yeah, yeah.
Sure.
But this one it, which is to play-
More practical It's by far more, much
more practical, and it's even though
more comfortable than the other one.
So- So why don't we talk about the All
American racket, which I love that.
Let, can we see that one?
Yeah.
How did you come up with that idea?
Well, I think, I think, I think,
you know, it's like, you know, in,
in padel you get a player which
is, uh- I can't remember the name.
Which is the American captain?
I'm American.
Okay, but he's a Spanish guy.
Mm-hmm.
So, as we sign Nico, we were like, "Okay,
we have to do something specific for the
US market, which really represent the
US market." So we come up with the idea
that taking one of the racket, two of
the rackets from the range, and making
this beautiful design, which we made.
Uh, I, I think it will be any
American person will be proud
of playing with this racket.
Is this gonna be a limited edition, or…?
It is a limited edition.
So, and where can they get it?
Well, I, I think through the retailers.
I mean, we have a launch
this racket in June.
Oh, it's not out yet?
It's not out yet.
Okay.
It's not out yet.
So it's exclusive here, the
launch, and it will be in June
in the best shops here in the US.
And the Lamborghini racket, is that open
for anyone to purchase it, or is… it's
also a limited edition and very exclusive?
It's a very, very limited edition.
So even though the commercial one,
I mean, we only produce 5,000 units.
It's good then.
And it's, like, uh, maybe
here in the US, they receive,
like, a, a couple of hundred.
No more.
So very exclusive.
Very exclusive.
And how much are they,
the Lamborghinis and,
and this one?
Well, this one, there are
two different rackets.
So there is one which is
at three… uh, in dollars.
Wow, shit.
Well, euros, fine.
Yeah, in euros is gonna be 320.
And this one, this one is the
320, and the other one is 180.
Okay,
and this one is the one that Nico Ritelli
picked, or you guys made it for him?
Is the one that Nico is
already playing with.
Okay.
Mm-hmm.
Okay, so it's exactly the same racket,
so we just apply the cosmetics.
So tell me about, I think Le- Le- LeBron,
Juan LeBron is a great, you know, w- we
need players like that, like Juan LeBron.
He loves w- you know, the
controversy and all that.
The drama.
Yeah, the drama.
That drama.
They love it.
So, so- We do.
I- is that, I mean, is that what
you guys want in a player when you
wanna sponsor a player at that level?
Oh, oh, did you think you
were gonna go, go into that?
Uh, you know, uh, you know,
because you, he's been using,
uh, a Babolat for a long time.
Yeah, 10 years.
So, yeah.
I mean, 10 years in '27.
Yeah, so did you expect
that when you signed him?
Uh,
no.
No.
I mean, Juan is a very special person.
He's, uh, he has the same
amount of lovers than haters.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Which is good, because at the end of the
day, you got… I mean, when you become
professional at that level, I mean,
you have to be very, very aggressive.
Well, people will tune anyways.
Yeah.
People like drama.
Correct.
Uh, but, but it's, uh, it's, like,
I mean, his way is very emotional.
Sure.
Which also show that he's human.
Sure.
So he beha- he behave like he is.
Okay.
And you see other players which
they have a better image, but that
image is, I mean, it's created.
Yeah.
Well, people love the drama.
Yeah, of course.
I mean, people, it's great for TV.
Yeah.
Yeah.
For sure.
And, and we do.
And we do.
Sometimes, you know, when he's
quiet We say, "Okay, Juan,
come on." "You're too quiet.
You, you are not like that.
Come on, you have, you have to
play around." So his racket,
and everybody… And I asked
Alejandro Alonzá the same thing.
Is his racket different, customized
just for him, or is that the racket,
the same racket that everybody will get?
Well, they, they, they have the same
racket, but it's true that sometimes we
maybe modify the balance of the racket.
Right.
We add some weight maybe on the
head of the racket because he
wanna have a higher balance.
But it's the same racket that we-
That we market, yes … launch.
Fantastic.
Where can they get also the, the,
the, uh, Le- Lebron, uh, racket?
Well, it's the same.
I mean, all the retailers that they
o- I mean, Lebron is not a limited
edition, so any retailer here in
the US, they could carry the racket.
Fantastic.
I mean, we love Babolat.
We, I've been playing with
Babolat for, for many years.
I mean, we love the brand and, and
thank God you guys into the Padel,
and we wish you the best of luck.
Hey, Padellers, we're here with, uh,
social influencers Baby Let's Padel.
Yes.
First time we hear about this, so tell
us what's, what's Ba- Baby Let's Padel.
Uh, we are a Houston-based community
rapidly expanding through Texas.
We bring people to play Padel that maybe
had never heard of it before, and we guide
them through the journey, make friends,
and continue to play on a weekly basis.
And we wanna go bigger.
So is it a league or…?
So different.
We do different events.
We start with open play, so we have…
The next step is to do a league.
We're mainly focused on the female
community, so it's… Padel is ba-
basically growing in Houston, uh, which
has been amazing to be part of it.
Uh, mainly to get or to take those,
uh, those females out of that
comfort zone, you know, 'cause
sometimes you see that, that cage
and then a bottle and, "Oh, my God."
She like- Feminity … she
like… Yeah, it is.
It is.
So it's been amazing to see also
how a bunch of lady have been,
um, I would say, like they're
evolution in the, in the game.
So we do open plays.
Uh, we're gonna be starting focus
on tournaments and the league.
So you guys work with the
club, Padel club, correct?
We do.
We do a racket social club.
It's one of the main
clubs that we work with.
Uh, we have been also working with
Tempo, uh, Country Club Memorial.
Uh, Jamala, we have been in conversations.
So little by little, and hopefully
we are gonna expand also to
Austin with Padel Austin Club.
So it's, it's been great.
So me and Jules always talk about this,
and I think you're on the right track
because a lot of ladies, they love to
play, and they go to play a lot of times
dur- dur- during the day where Padel clubs
are really neat to fill those courts in.
Yeah.
You know?
So, uh, you guys are on the right track.
Yes.
We have, we have seen a little bit of
everything because also then we have
those that want to play late night.
Right.
So like at 8:00 PM, 9:00 PM.
So we have the… As… I think
that we have seen a little
bit of, uh, of everything.
Everything.
Everything, yeah.
So- Oh, yeah, the two groups.
During the day.
Yes, and also the regular, the
peak hours, like at 6:00 PM.
It's also something that,
that we have been focused on.
So how long have you guys been doing this?
Six months.
Six months.
So now that, how big is
the community right now?
In Houston, like 120 we have in our
one little communi- committed community
that come to our events weekly.
So you guys just create like an
event or is it like tournaments or?
We do, yeah, we doing tournaments.
We, next tournament's April 4th.
Uh, we're gonna do it
at Racquet Social Club.
Talk to us about if somebody came to
your event, how, how would it look like?
What, what can they expect?
Good energy, good community.
We, we very, focus a lot about supporting
each other, showing up for each other.
Uh- So is there fo-, is there food,
drinks or stuff like that afterwards?
We, yes, jump into- A lot of depends
on the- … Padel, Baby Let's Padel.
So you can see here that's a plane,
the wall and a ca- and a Padel.
So what we do also, we travel, uh, around,
I mean, to different cities to play Padel.
So something that we were also discussing
with Tom Brady is that one of the next
step that we have, it's to travel as
a destination and with a group of, of
people from Houston and do clinics, game.
Uh, so hopefully we're gonna do the
first one in Colorado or in Spain.
We haven't decided yet.
So, so, but it's only woman,
or it's, it's, it's, it's,
you know, both men and women?
It's both.
It's a mix.
Mainly we're mainly focused on, on
females, but also we love to see
how the guys are supporting those
women to get out of that comfort
zone and start playing the game.
So it's, it's beautiful
when you see that mix.
What's the best way for them to register?
Where should they go?
H- how does that process works?
Um, an Instagram is the easiest way
to follow us, uh, @babyletspadel,
and then there's a link there.
You can join our community and
you'll be notified.
It's a WhatsApp community.
You'll be notified of all the events
we do and- And you guys set up the, the
matches, the games, and all- All of it.
We take care of all of it.
I- So we're there during the, the matches,
the open play, you know, engaging with
the player, make sure that everybody moves
to the correct, uh, court that the next,
the next one that they're gonna play.
So it's- So the only thing is when
they- Make sure everybody's having a
good time … is there a cost to the
consumer, to the Padel player, or does
the cost, uh, transfer over to the clubs?
So it's basically through the club.
Okay.
Playtomic, it's one of the main
platforms, so we follow and we adjust
according to the, according to the club.
So the ones that we have built
that, uh, relationship, i-
everything through Playtomic.
So those are conversation that happen also
between the clubs and Baby Let's Padel.
But yes, there's a cost for the open
plays, for the leagues, for the games.
Right.
Does that go to the, to the player
or does that go to the club?
To the club.
The player pays for the, pay for the,
for the ticket, say, and- And then
depends on the, what kind of event it is.
Yeah.
So o- once again, so they can go
to the, to the, to the website
or, or mainly Instagram, or
you guys have also a website?
Right now it's mainly on Instagram
and also as Laura mentioned on
WhatsApp, that link can be found
there, our Instagram profile.
Great.
We, uh, we wish you best of luck.
Hey, Padelis, we're here at
RacketX at the Blanca Padel
Rackets stand with Andrew Juan.
Uh, we've been chasing you
for the past three years.
Finally.
Oh, you… Yeah.
Finally, we get to interview
him here on the, on our channel.
Uh, great looking rackets.
Very minimalistic.
Uh, how did you s- Well, how did
you came out with this crazy idea
to start a, a Padel racket brand?
Yeah, like, we're all, we're all
Padel addicts over here, but, uh,
September 22, '22, I founded the
brand in, uh, San Diego, California.
Um, it really started, uh, through COVID.
I was playing pickleball, actually.
I posted a story, and a girl I was
seeing long distance in Spain said,
"Oh, I didn't know they had Padel in the
United States." Clearly she didn't play
either sport, but, uh, there it was.
The algorithms are, you
know, every which way.
I started seeing, you know, Ali Galán,
LeBron running out of the court.
Played tennis all my life.
I was like, "Whoa, what is this sport?"
"This is amazing." I, luckily for
me, in the backyard, I had Technica
Padel in my backyard at that moment.
And, uh, during COVID, they had a,
a free clinic that they were giving.
I started playing, got addicted to the
sport, joined a 500-person WhatsApp
group, and there it was off running.
But I was like, "Why is this equipment
so expensive? Why is a can of tennis
balls with less pressure, you know,
$12 retail? Why is a, a racket 300
to $500 US?" It doesn't make sense.
My background was in sourcing
and development, uh, basically
consulting all the businesses
how to manufacture products.
So I started with balls.
I literally brought in a case of
blank balls, Blanca, Blanca marca,
blank balls to the United States,
100 cases of it for my friends.
Because every
time you talk to someone who
plays, like, oh, Mm-hmm … right?
You don't want to play with
brand-new balls, right?
We want to play.
So I brought in balls, the same balls
that are FIP-certified, exact- the exact
same factory through my sourcing channels.
And, but me- bigshot me.
Now what do I do with
these 100 cases of balls?
I gotta sell them.
So I started going to these
few clubs, and they, they said,
"Hey, the balls are great.
We could do some programing on it.
But how about rackets now?
Because we're buying rackets at
wholesale for $300, rent's due for $10.
Beginners are breaking
it every month or so.
The economics aren't working out, so help
us with rackets." So then I started with
rackets, and the margin there was like,
like 20x. So then I was like, "Uh-huh.
Okay, now we're gonna start
a little business here." And
I started with three rackets.
Uh, so the first three rackets here,
see La Jolla, which is still produced.
La Jolla, Del Mar, and Coronado,
named after San Diego cities.
Homage to where I started the business.
Um, from New York, so we
got Manhattan over here.
Uh, Queens, so playing words,
uh, built for, more for women.
Uh, Flushing Queens, the US Open site.
Dumbo, like Dumbo, Brooklyn, like the
D- Dumbo Disney character as well.
And releasing here at Racket
X, this is Brickell, right?
So I moved to St. Petersburg,
Florida, so I need something Florida.
St. Pete didn't have quite the ring
or Tampa didn't quite the ring yet.
It's growing.
There's a lot growing there, guys.
So what's the retail prices on, um,
uh, average on some of these rackets?
Most of my rackets are
less than $200 retail.
This is the first racket where
we're going above 200, 250.
But I literally packed all the latest
buzzword technologies all into one racket.
Even from the design.
You see the latest design's a
little more sharp around the edges.
You have holes on the side here, these
little wind channels they call it.
Detachable, uh,
wristband.
Kevlar frame.
So you got a bulletproof material,
Kevlar frame, super durable.
12K carbon fiber.
You got your hole pattern now, which is
smaller towards the sweet spot and larger
around the, the, uh, the, the edges.
Uh, Rugosa, like, sand texture.
So I threw everything in one racket, $250.
So you kind of designed this
racket the way you want it.
I designed the racket the way I want it.
Absolutely.
Uh, did it take, how many tries
did it take to get it right?
Well, luckily, this was my first mold.
We're gonna tweak it a little bit more
and modify little things, but I tried
it first time here at my, my mini
court, uh, at Racket X, and we've been
here for three consecutive years and,
uh, it's been, it's been wonderful.
Been very great host to us.
So your price point is, is
right on the sweet spot.
You know what I mean?
One thing is to spend, no, no,
not, not a lot of people can
spend 400 bucks in a racket.
The, the 200 markets we always talk
on the channel, you know, it's ri-
that's people what they're looking for.
And they're looking for the quality too.
Yes, the quality.
So what is your marketing
strategy there, uh, there besides
the, the, the price point?
Marketing strategy there.
Um- For me, it's like I like
to collaborate with as many,
like, key partners as possible.
Off The Glass being one of them, who
are gracious to provide this mini
court, but I also referred them about
30 courts business, which is great.
But we're gonna partner up
together, the US Court manufacturer.
You got your US Padel, uh,
company over here as well.
Uh, also releasing here are
clothing, and will be V from,
uh, Born Living Yoga, now Born.
So as part of the Born court series,
um, they're making all our clothes.
Five generations of making clothes.
They're basically the Alo Yoga of Spain.
They capture the market over there.
They're currently sponsor Tamara Icardo.
They got Ale Salvi, Sajo, and
our top 50 premier Padel players.
So, so talk to us about that partnership.
How does, how does that work?
Because I see a nice…
I see great apparel.
Yeah.
So it really started because, so last
year, I s- I sponsored Julia Paula,
who's top 50 premier Padel player, right?
So just to prove to, to the public
that these rackets are quality, you
could buy the same racket that she has
for $180 retail, and she's dedicating
her life to it at the highest level
and playing with this racket, right?
So, but through mutual connections,
played at Mattford Padel, a coach over
there, Marco, shout out to you, uh,
connected me to the owner of Born.
Um, and then he was looking for
a minimalistic, uh, racket brand.
Immediately we connected, we hit it
off, we started playing together.
Of course, Padel, you
gotta do business there.
And then, and here we are.
So we were starting our relationship.
I, like, Julia was traveling.
And this is usually what happens.
Julia was traveling in Germany.
She says, "Hey, Andrew, I need
like jackets and like bunch
of like, I need like vests.
I need like pants.
I need…" You know, I
was like, "I've got a top.
I've got more skirts for you.
Like, what do I do?
We could like white label other things,
or I could partner with Born." So
when did that, uh, partnership start?
I guess the recordings started
happening, uh, let's see, maybe
October of, of last year or so, kind
of, kind of- So how, how's it going?
How are people, uh, receiving it well?
I mean, you, you feel
the clothes over there.
Yeah, I do.
Yeah.
It's- Pretty nice … it's
spectacular quality.
So, uh, for clients as well, if you're
out there, you wanna do other key
partnerships, like wholesale pricing.
And, um, so we'll be releasing clothes
there, but for, for my players and
stuff, look, th- they're pros at clothes.
They capture the market.
I wanna enter the Spanish market
further, they want to come to the
United States and Padel, so it was
just kind of a, a great win-win there.
So let's say p- where… Let's, two
things: Where club owners can find this
racket to bring into their clubs, and
where customers can find this racket
to bring it to start playing with it.
Yeah, www.blanca padel.com.
Um, we work with a few
distributors, Racket Central,
uh, being, being one of them.
Um, we sell with some distributors
in Indonesia, but if there are
any distributors out there, as we
open up other countries, holler
at me, andrew@blancapadal.com.
You're talking to me, Mr. Blanca.
So that's it.
So how did you come up with that name?
That's, uh… Blanca, as I, as I
kind of, uh, you know, kind of noted,
uh, Blanca is a play on minimalism.
So black and white, without
black there's no white, without
white there's no black, right?
Also, our first models that I
brought in were Blanca Marca.
They're white label products
with zero logo on it.
Um, so Blanca means, uh, it's a Spanish,
uh, you know, it's a female's name.
Uh, it could be a half
note in a musical score.
So i- it's also a, a
curiosity play as well.
So what do you see new for Blanca in 2027?
Are you gonna introduce some products
and things, or even this- Lots of things.
I don't… So on the, on the theme
of, uh, minimalism, as I approach the
business as well, I don't wanna overload
it with s- too many rackets as well.
Got nine SKUs of rackets, and
I, I'm still keeping, from three
years ago, the Steve LaHoya racket
and Del Mar and Coronado rackets.
So look, because people love them,
and honestly, as the, the market
grows, people are finding our brand
organically through the year, so
there's really no need to change the
racket constantly year by year by year.
And, uh, coming from tennis, so I
remember it's like year one I would
love one racket of this model, but
you couldn't find it in the next year.
So for folks that, that don't, like,
love one racket and they're gonna buy
tens, twenties, hundreds of that same
racket, I wanna keep it the same.
Unless I absolutely need to
and you're gonna prove, like,
some sort of technological
difference, an actual technological
difference, I'll switch the racket.
So pretty much the racket,
the apparel, the balls.
And some accessories.
And some accessories.
You know, some lifestyle,
um, some technical gear.
Uh, we do co-labs, uh- We
do collabs, uh, on rackets.
So here we have, you
know, Ballers in Philly.
We did a collab- Yeah.
No, yeah, yeah … with rackets.
Fantastic use case of, uh, of our rackets.
Padel 910A, you guys were there as well.
Yes.
Do some balls.
Uh, Lord Taewoo, uh, M Fields
coming out, so we're making
their rackets and balls as well.
We did a collab with Addison
Reserve, a country club.
So, um, so yeah, anything and everything's
on the table, and we've got so much real
estate on our, on our padel rackets that
I'm open to, to collaborate, but with the,
the right key partners, of course, that
would make sense with a brand alignment.
Fantastic.
Andrew, the best of luck.
Hey, padelers.
We're here at Racket
X at the Blanca stand.
But also Blanca has created a beautiful,
beautiful partnership with the, uh, I will
call it the Lululemon in Alo from Spain.
We have here Maribel with a
Br- Spanish brand called Born.
It's, uh, the quality of this
clothing, it's outstanding.
It's u- the, the moment you
feel it, I mean, it's beautiful.
Maribel, tell us everything about,
uh, Born, where it was born.
Okay?
And then, uh, what is your, your
vision for the American market and
your partnership with, with Blanca?
Uh, Born has nine years old.
Uh, it was born in Spain, actually from
a trip, uh, to Miami from the owners.
Uh, they saw in Miami everybody
was going with tops, legging,
like that, a leisure concept we
didn't have in Spain at the moment.
Uh, so they say, "Okay,
something's missing in our market,"
and they created the brand.
Um, like three years later,
we launched men collection.
Uh, we were born mostly, uh, because
our original name is Bornlimen Yoga.
Uh, so we were born initially for yoga
and Pilates and this kind of thing.
We realized that our clothing could
be used for any type of sports like
fitness, CrossFit, running, racket sport.
So we, yes, recently we decide to just,
uh, reduce the name, yes, to Born.
Um, and now we are launching, like mini,
mini collections like, for example, four
courts, male running, and that's where
we are growing with all the sports.
So is this more, uh, for
racket sports only, the sports,
or just specific for padel?
All racket sports.
Okay.
Yeah.
For RacketX, we have made this mini
collection collaborating with Blanca.
So we have made, like the logo for
Born, Blanca all together and, uh, it's
gonna be be selling in, in a month.
It's gonna be ready.
So can you talk to us about the
collection and how many shoes
you have here for the US market?
Uh, the collection is,
uh, all type of pieces.
Like, uh, for women we have
dresses with shorts, uh, T-shirts,
skirt, and jackets, everything.
We have so- some leggings too, and we
have a blazer which is been, like, I was
selling here, like the heat of RacketX.
For men we have, have shorts, like
sports shorts, sport T-shirts, and
then some blazer clothing like this,
uh, sweatshirt, yogurts, everything.
So what's your best seller
when it comes to the women's?
For women's, uh, this set with- This
one … Gold Palma, it's like the
second best seller of the whole company.
Wow.
So that's this top and the bottom, right?
Yeah, and the skirt.
The quality is incredible-
Oh, thank you so much … too.
I mean, it is very nice.
Thank you so much.
Well, what is it made of?
It- it's- it's… Uh, what is it?
It feels so cool and soft.
The thing is that we don't use any kind
of cotton, uh, to… Because one of
our claims is just the safe of water.
So we use other materials, but not cotton.
Uh, but yeah, they are really
soft, really comfortable.
Yeah.
Um- Very stretchy and soft.
So I think, yeah.
Very nice.
How about for the men?
What's your best collection for the men's?
The men's, uh, we have a short.
Yeah.
It's called-
The only knock is for it, it is
awesome And h- what's the NC minus?
What's the NC minus?
A seven?
Six, six inch, seven
inch from here to here.
Trackies and the- We have
it in tons of colors.
It's great.
It's the best seller for- So soft, I mean.
Yeah, it is.
You're competing with
the Alos and Lululemons.
I mean, or, or the Worries, you know?
It, it's something- Right.
How much would something
like this retail cost?
The shorts, the men's short in retail.
It would be around, uh, 78.
78. How about for the set for the women's?
They're your bestseller here.
The set, it would be, uh, 58 and, uh, 58.
They are both the same price.
Okay, so 100.
And about the American market,
we are here, we're in Miami after
that to know, know where to pop.
But also we are
collaborating with Nordstrom.
You can buy already in Nordstrom website.
Yeah.
Great.
Great, great.
I, I mean, I was gonna ask that.
What is the strategy here to penetrate
into the US market when it comes to
racket sports or Padel in general?
Well, we think is here, uh, we have
closed some agreements with, uh,
Padel clubs, tennis clubs just to,
uh, use this for uniforms or to have
When they have, like, a little store,
we, we're gonna put our products there.
And also, uh, try to find, like, yoga
studios too, Pilates studios because
we have, like, both sizes as a team.
Uh, I, I honestly, I mean,
the quality is outstanding.
Thank you so much.
Uh, where can people find you online?
What, what is the, the, the website?
Uh, this collection is gonna be in a
month, uh, in Blanca's website, but also
you can use our website for the rest of
our products which is bornlivingyoga.com.
Okay, and tell us about your
partnership with Blanca, Blanca Padawer.
So, um, Blah, Blanca, uh, didn't
want to do, like, garments anymore.
Uh, we get to know each others
through Padel, playing Padel
and, like, being social.
And we decide, like, to
make an agreement, okay?
I have the clothes, they have the rackets.
Um, so okay, let's partner, see, with,
for Racket X and for, for racket,
uh, sports, um, things together.
So that was it.
Fantastic.
I love.
Is this, uh, straight to consumer?
Uh, what's, straight to consumer?
Are you working distributors?
Are you work- We are, uh, I mean,
if, uh, with all the clubs and all
the, um, like, racket sh- uh, clubs
or teams that they have come to
us, we're gonna do, like, B2B too.
Okay.
But it's gonna be to consumer
too in a, in… It will be around
a month in Blanca's website.
Oh, great.
I love it.
Well, we wish you the best.
I mean, uh, love the quality.
Hopefully one day we can
test it and try it out.
Hopefully.
And review it again on our channel.
But good luck and, uh, hope to see you in
the US and- Thank you so much … across.
Hey everyone, we're here at Racket X
with Padal Tech, one of the leading
Padel courts companies, with Alvaro.
Uh, Padal Tech, uh, is part
of the reserve as well, right?
Padal Tech- Reserve is Padal
Tech or Reserve is Padal Tech.
I mean, we play on those
courts quite often.
So welcome to the channel.
Why don't you tell us a little
bit, I mean, what's Padal Tech
and all the great things about it?
Okay.
Thank you.
Thank you for, for this interview.
And we are Padal Tech.
We are manufacturing Padel
courts more than 17 years.
And we are a very technical provider,
and because our origin is, uh,
manufacturing steel pieces more
than 40 years, we have worked in
the precision steel, uh, industry.
We have manufactured, um, pieces
for airplanes, for elevators.
So for us, we have the machinery, we have
the know-how to do the courts easily.
And that's why clubs like Reserve
or like another ones, it shows us
to do the, all the developments.
So let's talk about that.
How did the relationship come to be
between a Reserve and yourselves?
Yeah.
I- we received the, the visit of
Reserve three years and a half ago.
They visit our factory, and they
were looking for an exclusive
provider to do everything they want.
They are a very hard customer,
and we, we got, we got this.
We want this quality.
And both of us, we are very
happy with the relationship.
So now you are, uh, installing
and providing those same courts
that are in Reserve to other clubs
and if anybo- or other people
wanna put in their homes, correct?
Yeah, yeah.
With Reserve we, we work on two ways.
We are developing their own clubs, like
Zipline, like Sole Mia, like Hudson Yards.
We sell a lot of courts
in privates, in privates.
And after, uh, this year, we
have introduced our real brand,
Padel Tech, in the USA market.
So one quick question, and, and we
play quite often at, at Reserve.
He plays a lot.
He's also a member there.
He's always complaining about the turf.
Yeah.
What kind of turf do you use?
Because it's too fast.
Too… Uh, sometimes it's not the…
due to the, the turf, it's, uh,
sometimes it's due to the concrete.
And in Reserve, we have done three tests.
We, we started with a provider,
with a Czech provider.
The name is Yuta.
After, we use, uh, Mondo.
And now we are using Real Turf because
we consider the quality is really good.
The speed is the same, but now we have
developed, uh, a slow system for M3
Academy Madrid, the academy where Ale
Galan or Chimboto trains every day.
They, they need it, uh, at a slower
surface because they play in a
slower surface in the professional
circuit, and we have developed a
system and it's working really well.
So how many courts do you have in
your collection for Padel Tech,
for the Reserve type of courts?
I think we have, in the US
market or Central America, we
have more or less 150 courts.
No, no.
How, how many in the collection?
Is it just one type of court,
or do you have- No … one
for indoor, one for outdoor?
We can… We don't play with qualities.
So our court is the same for indoor,
for outdoor, for Madrid- Okay … for
Miami, for every- So there's only one.
We consider it's the best
way to manufacture courts.
Okay, but you don't have
different models, or you do?
Yes.
Yes, we have the normal- That's the point.
We have the normal courts
with post every two meters.
We have the, only the panoramic
courts with the, with the
light, with the corner post.
And we have the super panoramic.
What's the most popular?
What's the one you sell the most?
Uh, 75% of our sale is
the normal panoramic.
Normal panoramic.
When we work in, in indoor
facilities, we advise sometimes
the super panoramic courts.
So how much is a normal
panoramic, how much does it cost?
And, uh, and then how much
does it cost installed?
We think that the courts doesn't have,
uh, a price because every- Oh, yes
every court is different.
So depends of the lighting, it depends of
the tour, it depends on a lot of thing.
It depends of the quantity of the
court, it depend of the installation,
the access, the everything.
But we
are,
uh, installing courts here in
the USA from $40K more or less.
Okay.
More or less.
That's about- It takes … a
fair market price, yeah.
So where can they find, uh, information
about, about you guys, Padel Tech?
Uh, online, Instagram, what is the
best way to get in touch with you guys?
We, two years ago, we, we rebranded
the, the brand, and now I think we are
working really well our social media.
We are, we have a very professional
website in www.padeltech.com, and
you can see all our project, all our
special courts of all our relationships.
So besides Reserve, what other
clubs, uh, have your court?
Now- In
the US … we have just introduced the
Padel Tech brand, and we have done a
lot of business here in, in RacketX,
so yeah, we are very happy with this.
And we have just installed
two clubs in Tampa.
Okay.
In Tampa.
But we are starting with Padel Tech brand.
So being associated with, with
Reserve, because that's what, do
you think that's gonna help you- Yes
saying compete with other- Like
my discussion, my, my comments
are very, are easier Yes, it is.
When I speak with a customer and,
"Hey, I'm the provider for Real,
for, um, for Resell." It's very easy.
And they'll be like, "Okay,
I want three then." Yeah.
Alvaro, thank you so much.
We wish you the best of luck.
So we're here with Klutch.
Okay.
An AI camera.
And, uh, I heard a little bird
you moved to San Francisco.
Is that true?
Yeah, I … It might be.
Oh, it's so bad.
Wow.
Yeah.
So tell us a little bit about Klutch.
What is Klutch?
Klutch, we make AI padel cameras where we
are automatically generating AI highlights
and folks can share those, and we also,
uh, bring out statistics as well that
are useful for coaches and players.
So it creates the
highlights automatically?
Automatically.
Wow.
So Gary, tell us a bit- Like Instagram?
Like Instagram.
Instagram.
Social media.
You can share it to Instagram.
You can share it to
WhatsApp in your community.
We have leaderboards.
We have a proprietary Klutch
score, which is useful for
engagement with your clubs as well.
Okay.
So Gary, tell us a little
bit, um, what clubs are you
already in the United States?
Mm. You have many.
It's a growing list.
So we are from, uh, coast to coast, uh,
and also a bit, uh, between the coasts.
Uh, some well-known would be,
uh, Ultra here in Miami, uh, Park
Padel, Bay Padel, Padel9- Oh … uh,
Epic Padel.
Growing list, yeah.
So you're taking over the world, baby.
Yes.
I love it.
I love it.
We love it too.
Boys, we've seen you from the beginning.
Yeah.
So I mean, uh, we've been using
Klutch at, at Ultra for a while.
I mean, I love the app.
I love what, what statistics it gives you.
Some of my students even take the
screenshots and then upload it to ChatGPT.
Give me how to play better padel.
I love the, the … I mean, are you,
uh, are you bringing something else,
something different to the app?
Yeah, I mean, it's always, uh, developing.
So we're, uh, actually at RacketX we're
releasing our new camera, which is a
4K camera, so better video quality.
Uh, the AI is also constantly getting
better and better, so now we're
tracking all different shot types.
We're tracking winners and errors.
Uh, we have this, uh, performance
rating, so players are now rated
on a scale from one to 10, uh,
based on their performance data.
Great.
And, uh, yeah, we're building, uh, an
engine for clubs to re-engage their
community through all the sports data.
So is there option for
multi- multiple cameras?
So- That's actually, yeah, that's
a big one for us this year.
We're gonna, uh, release a setup
where people can mount their phones
while they're playing, and the
AI camera will create highlights
from the different angles.
Mm-hmm.
So re-mimicking, like, having an
influencer videographer behind
your court, like capturing
the best types of highlights.
That's fantastic.
Also, very important, you know,
rating is such an important
thing in Padel, you know?
So now you said something about,
uh, the, the club is gonna give
you a specific rating how you play.
How do I, how do I play?
No, yeah, I mean your level of play.
Oh, my level is quite low, but
yes, it does give you your level.
Okay.
And it's, it's one to 10?
One to 10.
One to 10, yes.
At that, yeah.
So how are, how are you gonna compete
with the other rating systems?
There's, like, three or four
different rating systems.
There's WPR.
There's, there's, you
know, Play Like Point.
There's … We're, we're not really
trying to compete, to be honest.
Like, we're happy to, uh, support other
rating systems and, uh, collaborate.
Uh, what we do is a little bit
special because, uh, I mean, it's
based on your actual performance.
So when Julian and I, we play together
and, uh, I'm losing the game and
I'm making all the errors and he's
making the winners, then- That's
usually the opposite when I play him.
He's the one making all the errors.
Yeah.
But then, you know, if we lose the
game, I will be … My, my rating
will be punished more than Julian's.
Oh.
He might actually go up.
Uh, so it's based on your performance
on court, whereas, uh, traditional
rating systems are, you know,
you input your match score after.
So you're basically working
with, uh, other platforms, uh,
with that rating system, then?
We already work with, uh,
World Padel Rating.
Uh, and, uh, yeah, so we have
an integration with them.
Wow.
Uh, and it's really just trying
to support the ecosystem.
Uh, we obviously have our own platform
where our rating lives, but, uh-
Okay … we are open to collaborating
with other rating systems to- Mm-hmm
… you know, contribute performance data
so they can be more accurate, uh- So
when are you unveiling all the new,
the 4K, the, you know, social media?
It's on the court over, over there.
Oh.
Yeah.
So it's, uh- Live.
It's, yeah, live right now.
And also, the cameras
have microphones, correct?
They have very nice microphones, yeah.
So- Oh.
We can hear all the slurs.
I love it.
I love it.
Well, we're looking forward
to your progress, guys.
I mean, we've been with you guys
for quite a while, so all the best.
Good luck, and we'll see you around.
Thank you.
So we're here at CourtsApp, one
of the upcoming, uh, what is it?
Um, kids on the block,
the new kids on the block.
I guess so.
I guess so.
So why don't you tell us a little bit
about what, what, uh, CourtsApp do,
and what is your vision for the future?
Yeah.
So exactly like Expedia, OpenTable, uh,
you know, everyone's gonna be on Courtsap.
You're traveling, you're booking
a court through Courtsap.
It's easy, doesn't take a lot of
time, and you get on the court.
That's the goal, right?
Everyone wants to play, have fun, and
that's exactly what we're gonna, you
know, help everyone do at Courtsap.
So you're gonna… All
the clubs love you, right?
Because you're gonna be able to
sell, you know, those, uh, the
court times that they can't, right?
All the courts will love us.
We're gonna help, you know, generate
extra revenue for them, help fill
their courts and, you know, it's fun.
Everyone will love it.
Especially- Congratulations, man.
Especially on the dead times,
you know, that's when you really
have to pump it up and all that.
Absolutely.
So how do you guys handle that part?
So we do it all through marketing.
So we know a lot of clubs have trouble
doing marketing and filling those courts
and reaching out to people, so our main
goal is to bring in more players into a
facility who either don't know where to
play at a specific time or don't know that
that court's empty at a specific time.
So we do everything through marketing.
Uh, we're working it to
acquire T-Reach as well.
Um, so we have many different ways
in which we are doing marketing to
bring in more players into facilities.
So how'd you make out here in RacquetX?
Were you able to network
with club owners and- Yeah.
There were still a lot of club owners that
are here already, so we've met with…
I mean, how many have
you met with today, Eric?
Number- 20.
20. At least.
So I mean, uh, it's everyone that's
coming up to us, they see the idea and
there's zero downside for these clubs.
They're only generating more revenue.
We're not taking away anything.
We're not taking away the courts
that they already have filled.
We're just looking to fill out that-
Uh, seeing if there's a pushback
or how are they receiving that?
I mean, a- as, as of right now from
what we've seen, I mean, we're, we just
launched in September, so we haven't
had much traffic going out right now,
but we haven't expected much traffic.
We, we expect it when we start
launching out the marketing a lot more.
So one- once we start going into
everything a lot more and we wanna
drop it in that, that is when we
expect more bookings to come in.
All right.
So tell us where people can find you.
They can find us anywhere.
I mean, we're, we're, we're
on the App Store right now.
You can download Courtsap
on the App Store.
We have a website where
people could go out and book
straight through there as well.
So there's many different channels.
We have social media pages.
We have Instagram.
Um, we're in the… We're
also, uh, created a TikTok
as well, so we're all over.
Very important thing.
How much is it?
It's zero dollars.
Zero dollars.
Zero dollars.
Zero dollars.
How that works?
Well, our service is free to you.
We're gonna market, spend money
on your empty court time and, you
know, you're not paying us anything.
If we sell a court for you, we
take a commission, 25 to 35%.
Not too much, but you know, it's free.
You know, would you rather have 75
cents on the dollar or zero, right?
It's, it's a no-brainer.
Great.
Thank you, guys.
Good luck.
We'll see you around.
Thank you
