One Gospel Minute

What would you pay for your liberty? The freedom we enjoy came from the payments of a previous generation. Many have paid for our liberty with their life. Restoring liberty lost comes at a very high price. The highest price ever paid was paid by Jesus Christ on the cruel cross of Calvary. He died for you and me that we might be freed from the bondage of sin. Liberty - What would you pay for it? Each generation must decide, and it may be time for our generation to count the cost.

David Hill: What would you pay for your liberty? The freedom we enjoy came from the payments of a previous generation. The land of the free and the home of the brave didn't come from a slick ad agency. It describes qualities of those gone before. As Catherine Lee Bates wrote, "Who more than self, their country loved and mercy more than life."

Yes, many have paid for our liberty with their life. Restoring liberty lost comes at a very high price. The highest price ever paid was paid by Jesus Christ on the cruel cross of Calvary. Not because of sin He committed, but one without sin died for you and me, sinners, that we might be freed from the bondage of sin.

Liberty. What would you pay for it? Each generation must decide, and it may be time for our generation to count the cost. Freedom from sin, that price has already been paid, and is ours through obeying the gospel of Jesus Christ. The price of liberty. Thank you for [00:01:00] listening to One Gospel Minute.
