Nou, het is vroeg in Roosendaal. De lucht is grijs. De wind duwt aan een jas. Lotte loopt naar het station. Zij heeft een kleine tas. Zij heeft ook een stroopwafel. Zij eet een klein stuk. Zij lacht zacht. Ik loop ook daar. Ik zie haar. Zij zegt: “Hé Rick.” Ik zeg: “Hé! Lekker bezig! 🌷”

Wij staan bij een bord. Het bord zegt: “PSV.” Lotte kijkt raar. Zij zegt: “PSV is nu overal.” Ik zeg: “Ja joh. Dat is groot.” Een man naast ons drinkt koffie. Hij hoort het ook. Hij zegt: “PSV kan kampioen zijn.” Lotte zegt: “Echt?” De man zegt: “Ja. Vandaag kan dat.” Lotte kijkt naar haar telefoon. Zij hoort de radio ook. De radio zegt ook iets over Iran. De radio zegt: “Steun voor Iraanse mensen.”

Lotte doet haar ogen groot. Zij zegt: “Ik hoor dat woord. Steun.” Ik zeg: “Ja. Dat is belangrijk.” Lotte zegt: “Ik ken een vrouw uit Iran.” De man zegt: “Ik ken ook iemand.” Hij pakt zijn sjaal. Op de sjaal staat PSV. Hij zegt: “Ik hou van voetbal. Maar ik wil ook steun.” Lotte zegt: “Ik ook.”

Dan komt een groep mensen. Zij praten hard. Zij roepen: “PSV! PSV!” Een kind heeft een vlag. Het kind zwaait met de vlag. De vlag gaat bijna in de koffie. De man zegt: “Kom op zeg!” Lotte lacht. Ik zeg: “Bijna! We zeggen eigenlijk: pas op.” 💪

Lotte ziet een vrouw met een bord. Op het bord staat “steun”. Lotte loopt naar haar. Zij zegt: “Ik wil ook steun.” De vrouw geeft een pen. Lotte schrijft haar naam. Zij doet dat heel netjes. De man met de PSV sjaal komt ook. Hij schrijft ook zijn naam. Hij zegt: “Voetbal is leuk. Mensen zijn ook leuk.” Lotte knikt.

Dan gaat de trein. Wij horen een piep van de OV-chipkaart. Lotte zegt: “Ik ga nu.” Ik zeg: “Ga je goed?” Zij zegt: “Ja.” Zij pakt haar stroopwafel. Zij geeft mij een stuk. Ik eet het. Ik zeg: “DIT IS HET! 🚲” Lotte lacht en loopt naar de trein. In haar hand is een pen. In haar hoofd is het nieuws. En in haar hart is steun.
