Chris:So let's get into it. First up, show news.
Brittney:In Hamburg, MJ, Das Michael Jackson musical has officially sold half a million tickets. That's 500,000 fans moonwalking into the theater, an incredible milestone for both the production and the city's musical scene. Meanwhile, in The Hague, Disney's Frozen invites us behind the curtain. Ever wondered how Sven's costume actually works? Audiences got a sneak peek into the magic behind this beloved character.
Brittney:Over in London, the smash hit Tina, the Tina Turner musical, prepares to leave the West End. The London theater recently spoke to the newest and final star of the show, the amazing Fleur East. And in Hamburg, Anjulia bids farewell to two incredible performers. On October 19, Willemijn Verkajk and Jacqueline Braun take the stage for the very last time as Anne and Amma. A heartfelt goodbye to two stars who brought so much life to the show.
Brittney:And here's some magical news for Potterheads. On September 1, fans gathered at AFS Circus Theater Schefeningen to celebrate the start of ticket sales for Harry Potter the Cursed Child. The first 934 visitors even received exclusive numbered fan tickets, a true collector's dream. The day also revealed the big news. Dutch actor Valentine Van Hal will play Harry Potter himself, now a grown man and father.
Brittney:Looking back, he shared, as a seven year old boy, I once wrote in a school notebook that I wanted to be a wizard. And now, years later, I get to play the most famous wizard in the world. The play opens in March 2026 right there in Schebenningen, and tickets are already on sale.
Chris:What a lineup of stories. From farewells to fresh beginnings and a touch of magic, our shows continue to inspire audiences across Europe. Next up, diversity, equity, and inclusion. Now, let's bring it back to headquarters where something truly incredible happened this summer.
Brittney:On August 28, our HQ team came together for cultural summer drinks. Everyone brought along snacks from their own cultures. From sweet treats to savory bites, each dish carried the taste of home, traditions, and family. As plates were passed around, something magical happened. Food turned into memories, and memories into connections.
Brittney:It was a simple idea, but it grew into an incredible bonding experience. By celebrating our diversity through food, we came closer together as teammates.
Chris:And before we wrap things up, let's look ahead to the international calendar. Mark these dates.
Brittney:October 2 in Madrid. Senesiente El Musicale opens at the Theatro Colosseum. On October 17, Stuttgart welcomes We Will Rock You at the Stage Palladium Theater. Then on November 13, Paris lights up with Chicago Les Musicale at the Casino Des Peris. November 20, Hamburg swings into action with the premier of Disney's Tarzan at the Stage Theater Nueva Flora.
Brittney:And finally, on December 20, Melbourne hosts the grand start of the Anastasia Australian tour at the Regent Theater.
