Speaker 1:Chris Reed, welcome to the show. Thanks for coming on.
Speaker 3:It is truly an honor. Thanks for having me.
Speaker 1:So... Okay. So let's let's go right to the to the heart of the matter. There are some people out there going, oh, prophets are just the old testament that doesn't happen again. No one prophesies.
Speaker 1:But we know that that's exactly what happened. Look at Agabus. I mean, the book of Acts is the first thing that pops into my head. Takes the belt. The guy wears his belt.
Speaker 1:That's what's going to happen. If that's not prophecy, I don't know what is. And it all comes true, by the way. So how did you become or how does the Lord work in your life? How does how do these are they images?
Speaker 1:Are they dreams? Are they words? A combination? What are we looking at?
Speaker 3:Combination is a fair thing to say. You know, in 2012, I started having these nighttime experiences where I would feel electricity go through my body. And I've been preaching since I was 13 years old, believe it or not, started pastoring at 25. And then about six years ago, ministries accelerated. I'm now in Lancaster, South Carolina.
Speaker 3:But starting around 2012, it was just like I started knowing things about people. I'd be in the presence of someone and I would, you know, anything about I know this is a strange question but I just, you know, anybody has cancer? Yes, I do. I just went to my treatment today. So, over time, I started trusting it and now, it gets down to the place.
Speaker 3:For instance, I'll give you an example. Two weeks ago on a Sunday, a first time visitor, I called out a man by revelation. His first name and and last name, He said, no coordination. We didn't know each other at all. I told him, I said, so a vision opens up in front of me.
Speaker 3:It's it's like seeing two worlds at once is the best.
Speaker 1:I understand. I understand what that is. I understand.
Speaker 3:I said, you had your first ever encounter with the living god and it happened on the day of Pentecost and it started at 11:15PM and went till 5AM. Here's what happened. You saw Habakkuk two two. Write the vision. Make it plain.
Speaker 3:And you saw waters protruding out from under the temple going out and the Holy Spirit and and symbolism affecting the media world, the business world, so on and so forth. I mean, it rocked his world. I said, have you shared this? He said, no. He said, I've not told anybody.
Speaker 3:He said, the only I I I'm writing this in a book. He said, this is the only experience that I've had like this. He said, I sent the only person that knows this is my editor and I said, but you've not published the book, right? He said, no. He was so shocked and the lord showed me his son's names, both of them and and just just things like that, things, secrets of the heart as Paul said, if one comes in among you and and you all speak with other languages, they'll think you're barbarian.
Speaker 3:Right. But if one gets up and reveals the secrets of the heart, they'll know of a surety that god is with you of the truth.
Speaker 1:So, okay. Let me, I'm going to play angel advocate here. So, there are some people who would say, well, and this is what they did to Jesus folks. So I'm not making this up. Well, he's from Beelzebub.
Speaker 1:He has a familiar spirit. How do you counteract that?
Speaker 3:I say if there's a counterfeit, there's a real.
Speaker 1:There you go.
Speaker 3:There has to be, in fact, the way I look at it is people have gotten so used to the counterfeit that, that if there is the real naturally they're, you know, second guessing, they're critiquing, and listen, I understand that and you know, over the years, I've made mistakes growing in this gift but I will tell you something. I've asked the lord to get me to a place whether it's prophecies about world events, political events, or whether it's speaking to people weekly in my church or where I wherever I'm speaking in other churches. I say, lord, give me things that no one could walk away saying that guy that could have found that out another way. Right. So, I often ask the people, is this on Facebook?
Speaker 3:Have you told anybody about this? Could you, could somebody know this another way? No, no, no. I said, the lord woke you up at two: 3three am this morning in your mind, this verse came to your mind, right? Yes.
Speaker 3:How did you know? It was exactly 02:33. This is what happened. Oh and by the way, you have L four, L five, you had a fusion in your back and the Lord wants to heal you right now. Wow.
Speaker 3:Yes. Wow. Documented healing. Yesterday, just another one last example quickly. Yesterday, a man visits my church.
Speaker 3:I see, I seen a vision. His hand being smashed and I said, on 09/11/2001, your hand, something, it had happened several times but your hand was smashed. He's like, only my wife and doctor know about this. He said, concrete fell on my hand on 09/11/2001 and and I said, you're going to feel fire in three seconds come and sure enough, fire, he felt it come over his hand, not to hurt him, but a warmth and a feeling. Speaker 3:Both of these I'm talking about by the way. So people can look at it and you know, speculate, but here's the reality. Then called him out in the aisle. I I touched him on the stomach. He fell to the floor and I said, lord, heal this man of hernias.
Speaker 3:He gets up. He gets up. He comes up the end of service. It's in the microphone. I hadn't even shut my mic off yet after service or Sunday service.
Speaker 3:He said, I had five hernias. All of my wife and my doctor knew, get this. He said, I felt for all of them. He said, prior to this, I could feel all of them. He said, but not I cannot feel one of them now.
Speaker 3:And it just proves Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever. Oh, god. It's not me. I can do
Speaker 1:I'm right there with you. Okay. I'm gonna share a story. My turn. Okay?
Speaker 1:So I'm at a conference with prophecy watchers. I think it's like, three conferences ago, and we're in Norman, Oklahoma. And this woman comes up to our table with her aunt. And I can tell just just looking at her that she's very broken. I mean, she's been through something.
Speaker 1:She's, you know, very unsure of herself and very broken. And she's kind of a fan, and she... They buy a book or a DVD. Don't know what happened. Oh, nice to meet you, you know, that type of thing.
Speaker 1:And they leave the table and don't think anything of it. Right? So the Lord wakes me up. He's been doing this for six years. And usually around...
Speaker 1:It's between midnight and five in the morning, and it can it can vary from night to night. Sometimes it's a two, sometimes a three. I recite all the scriptures, and I raise my hands in worship. And like you talk about electricity, I call it the tingle. I don't know what else to call it.
Speaker 1:And so the Lord Lord speaks to me. He goes, he goes, I want you to pray over that woman and break stuff that's on her. Doesn't tell me what to break off. Just tells me to go do that. So, you know, you got you gotta know who I am.
Speaker 1:So, immediately, I go, excuse me. I'm I'm arguing with him. I'm going, excuse me. There's a thousand people here. I have no idea who she is, what her name is.
Speaker 1:I mean, I know her first name. How am I gonna find this woman? There's a thousand people here. I'm going like, how's this gonna work? Right.
Speaker 1:I'm kind of yelling at him in my mind. Right. So I finished my prayer and the next morning I wake up and I go to the table and this is in the back of my head. You know, how's this going to work? Right.
Speaker 1:And so one of the sessions is going on. It's like mid morning. I wanna go up and check my laptop, look for email, and then look at my presentation. So there's a long corridor which goes down this hotel. Long corridor.
Speaker 1:It's it's at least a 100 yards, maybe more. So I'm walking down the corridor. There's nobody there. Nobody in the corridor. The lights are on.
Speaker 1:It's very friendly. In the distance on the right hand side, there's a woman at a coffee table reading her bible. And then I look past that and there's a woman coming towards me. Guess who it was? Right?
Speaker 1:Guess who? Of course, this is the woman that the Lord wants me to pray for. So we meet right next to the woman who's reading the Bible. So we're not alone. So she feels secure.
Speaker 1:And I go, look, I know you don't know me, but the Lord wants me to pray for you. So I lay hands on her and I just let go and let the Holy Spirit. And I pray for maybe a minute or two, and that was it. Nothing else happened. She's crying.
Speaker 1:And then I go, you know, come by the table, blah, blah, blah, whatever. I go back into my room. So now it's the afternoon session. Her auntie comes up and she goes, oh my God, I don't know what happened, but my my niece has been crying and laughing all morning long. You said, prayed for her and it's it's like you said, it's not me, it's him.
Speaker 1:He gave me a word of knowledge towards that woman. He fulfilled it. I pray, you know, it's Elmer Fudd basically and I prayed and and the lord got in there and broke stuff off of her and here's something else, there's a laying on of hands. There's not just this, you know, verbal thing. There's a laying on of hand.
Speaker 1:There's an impartation and the lord worked through that and you know, she got healed up. How cool is that? So, yeah, I'm I'm right there with you. I mean, I I'm a dispensationalist, so I call myself a charismatic dispensationalist. I believe that the church in Israel are two distinct things.
Speaker 1:So what's, you know, you've had you talking about France, for instance, and this whole... And I kind of touched on it in one of my one of my shows today, but but you have a prophecy concerning concerning France. Talk about that.
Speaker 3:Yeah. So, it's it's really short. It's just easy. Honestly, it's one minute and twenty nine seconds. It's from 2022 and I'll just play the audio

Speaker 1:Oh, I love that. That's great.
Speaker 3:Yeah. Friends of the Bridegroom Ministries. So so here's the prophecy from 2022. Let me... I gotta turn it up.
Speaker 3:Hold on. I'm sorry. Just a second.
Speaker 1:It's
Speaker 4:alright. A hotbed of unrest.
Speaker 3:Let me start over.
Speaker 4:Paris will be a hotbed of unrest and riots. The French people also will become very weary of unsustainable illegal immigration coming up from the South as well as resistance will be shown to the government. As I said, national identities will become priority again. But I also saw saw a new French revolution beginning to happen. The beginnings of a new French revolution.
Speaker 5:But today's other headlines in France, curfews are in effect in parts of Paris and other cities.
Speaker 3:Of course, the news currently confirming what was shared in December 2022. So what we're seeing and you and I both would agree with this. I believe what you believe as well as Israel and the church. But regarding France, what's happening across the globe? Yeah.
Speaker 3:Whether you're in America and people are coming up from the Southern Hemisphere into America and Canada or whether you're in Europe, you got people coming up from the Southern Hemisphere and the Northern Hemisphere. Illegal immigration is becoming unsustainable. And what's happening, I just recently came back from Great Britain and was in London. Was blown away. Yeah.
Speaker 3:At the level of of Muslims and I don't dislike or hate Muslim people but Islam, Sharia law, Islam itself is not compatible with the US constitution.
Speaker 1:No. It's not. No. And I... And we're not...
Speaker 1:You know, people can take that, and we're not being racist here. But, you know, Sharia law, the constitution, they're incompatible. And states, we're just quoting from what a congressman and congresswoman has stated on the record, which is which is a truism. So, I mean, that... We're seeing all this happen, and it's it's it's very sobering.
Speaker 1:Did you ever tap into a man by the name of Kim Clement, another prophet? I'm sorry.
Speaker 3:It's alright. Sorry about that. Say that again, please.
Speaker 1:Did you ever have a chance to check out Kim Clement?
Speaker 3:Oh, yeah. Absolutely. Right. In fact, I've had in the past people who have worked with me and worked for me, people who have worked with me and who have worked for me, who worked with Kim, while he was still alive. He had an he had an amazing prophetic ministry.
Speaker 3:No doubt about it.
Speaker 1:So, you know, I believe, as you do, that the gifts, you know, some people say, well, there was for the first century church, and they're not applicable anymore. But then what are we supposed... What are we doing here? If if if the gifts of the spirit aren't aren't active and real, then what what defense do I have? I mean, why why am I even doing what I'm doing?
Speaker 1:But the gifts... And I know you you will tag team on this. The gifts of a spirit are active. They are real. They move in my life.
Speaker 1:They move in your life. Mine is not nearly as demonstrative as yours, but it's every light, you know, and it's... I just love it. I just love what the Lord's doing. So what do you say, you know, to the naysayers because there's a gazillion of them out there.
Speaker 1:You know? What do you say to that?
Speaker 3:Well, number one, I understand. I understand why people are speculative, why they doubt. And, and secondly, I would just say to people who you, if you haven't been criticized or attacked, you're probably not over the target.
Speaker 1:Bingo. Yeah. That's, that's an old saying, man. It's true.
Speaker 3:No, no person of influence, whether it's political figure, religious figure, whatever community figure, you're going to have people that love you and people that hate you. And you can't do anything about it. There's just no in between. I would simply say to people that are distant towards it, the word and the spirit are to be together, united. Some churches you go to, it's all word.
Speaker 3:It's just all and I love the word of god. It's the infallible word of god, the Bible but if you go there, it's just it's just a Ted Talk and you know, let's get out so we can beat the other churches before the restaurants get full. Other churches are so charismatic where, you know, in the sense, everything becomes spirit, everything spiritual, and it gets into foolishness and silliness. I think.
Speaker 1:I agree. I agree. I agree with that.
Speaker 3:A balance of the word and spirit. However, the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. That's why prophecy is under such attack right now because it is the testimony of the fact that Jesus is still alive. Amen. The testimony of Jesus who he is and I'll get just a quick New Testament example, Saul of Tarsus who became Paul who wrote more than half of the New Testament.
Speaker 3:How was he found? Well, after he had his Damascus Road experience, talking about Paul, he was blinded and of course, he had to lose his natural sight for his spiritual sight to be gained for the first time. And three days, he's blind and the Lord comes in the New Testament now. Comes to a man named Ananias. Unbelievable.
Speaker 1:I love those.
Speaker 3:He tells him, I want you to go to a street called Straight. There's a street name. Go to the the house of one named Judas. That's not Judas Iscariot. Right.
Speaker 3:Judas was a common name. So the house of Judas, there's the house number, if you will. And look for one name Paul or Saul. There's his name by Revelation and you're to pray for him and when you pray for him, the prophetic partners with divine healing. So, he got his sight back and he was baptized with the Holy Spirit and it was spoken over him the many things he must suffer for the gospel's sake that he would take the gospel to the Jews, to the Gentiles.
Speaker 3:So, the prophetic will always partner with divine healing. Saul got his sight back. It will always partner with somebody coming into a greater encounter with god. He was baptized in the Holy Spirit and thirdly, the prophetic will partner and help people understand their purpose, their destiny, and why they're here. For instance, these prophecies about Paris and maybe a couple more we'll get to talk about.
Speaker 3:It's not just for me to say, oh, look, I got it right. No, it's New Testament prophecy unless it's in the Canon of scripture. Some prophecy in the New Testament, I believe is conditional for this purpose. When prophetic words go forth, especially warnings, people can pray just like Hezekiah was told, get your house in order. Yep.
Speaker 3:Gonna die. Well, what did he do? He turned his face to the wall and repented. That's it. The lord added fifteen years to his life all because of his response and he prayed.
Speaker 3:Jonah. Jonah was told to go to to Nineveh. But guess what? He went the opposite direction. When he got his act together and got vomited up by the fish, he went to Jonah and God was going to destroy the place literally within days.
Speaker 1:That's right.
Speaker 3:Because Jonah preached and the people responded correctly. That destruction of Nineveh, it did happen, but for many, many, many decades.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 3:So, people's response can sometimes minimize or detour you know, some new covenant prophecy. However, I will say that usually there always at least be enough of the prophetic word. Even if prayer changed it or minimize the damage or minimize the event or or people's behavior modified it. Enough will happen that people will say, what that man or woman said, that was from God. It couldn't have just been human knowledge.
Speaker 1:See, I think it's great that the Lord is raising up people. I mean, I... Katie Souza is someone that I I just I just love her ministry. I love what she does. I mean, there are others, modern day, you know, people walking in the gifts, modern day...
Speaker 1:You know, I don't I don't use a label. I don't consider myself a prophet. Me either. Yeah. I'm just a researcher.
Speaker 1:The Lord gives me words sometimes, and I'll I'll say them. The Lord showed me something. It was in 2023, and it's the only... It's the second waking vision I've had in my in my forty six years as a Christian. Second, isn't this great, folks?
Speaker 1:We're just talking shop here. Two two brothers in the Lord swapping Jesus stories because it's all about him. So... But I'm in I'm in bed. We're in Oklahoma.
Speaker 1:That in itself was a three hour conversation, and my wife is already asleep, and I'm on my side trying to go to sleep. And I'm I'm just troubled in my spirit. I don't I don't like Oklahoma. It brings back some PTSD from the fire of twenty eighteen fire, but I'm I'm working through it. And all of a sudden, in front of me, the Lord shows me this vision.
Speaker 1:I just go... I mean, I'm just staring at this thing, go... In disbelief at what I'm seeing. And then he tells me the interpretation of the vision, and then he says, you can't tell anybody what you saw. So I haven't been released to say anything about it.
Speaker 1:There's one man he gave me release to, and that was Gary Sherman. And I went... He told me, you can tell Gary. Peggy, my wife doesn't know. So I told Gary, and and we're, you know, we're we're in sabbatical that way.
Speaker 1:The point I'm trying to say is that the Lord speaks to his people, and the Lord wants his people to be aware. But, you know, some of the... So much of a church is so... Like you said, you know what? Let's just have the...
Speaker 1:The gifts are just hanging from a chandeliers. It's not done decently in an order. And so it's it's charismania happens and, you know, people start doing crazy things. And, you know, what about decently in an order, as Paul says, which is which is, I think, is profound. So let me ask you something.
Speaker 1:With everything that's going on, we've got the whole UAP, UFO, you know, nonhuman intelligence thing happening in congress for crying out loud. The seventh tranche was released on Friday of UFO stuff. I've had Corey Good, who was former New Ager, rededicated his life. We had him on the show, I think, last week, just talking about how he came back to Jesus. Do you think we're in a critical time?
Speaker 3:Oh my goodness. There's no other time in history I'd rather be alive. You know, I hear people say sometimes, I wish I could have been alive when, you know, such and such events happen. I believe the activity that we're seeing in the earth. I love it that you're about UFO disclosure and and and Bigfoot and and all of these things that some people kind of think are, out there.
Speaker 3:I tell you what, the whole creation is groaning.
Speaker 1:Oh, I agree there.
Speaker 3:Absolutely. Waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God for the group company of people to grow up in full maturity. And I think that that just like in in this, I think that the the devil has much much a lot of what people are describing if it's not, you know, as far as UFO activity. If it's not, undisclosed, US government or other national, machinery or technology, there are demons without a doubt that want to influence this world and want a lot. I mean, a lot of people are seeing are demonic.
Speaker 3:However, I also do believe that there's just as Satan drew a third.
Speaker 1:There you
Speaker 3:The stars. Right. Heaven. I think as we come closer and closer to the coming of the Lord and events such as for instance if we get time what what's happening between Israel and Iran right now. I believe the counterfeit is going to be shadowed back shelved if you will for, for the real, the true, heavenly creatures, heavenly beings, and and you know what?
Speaker 3:They're they're going to come and they're going to point to Jesus. They're not going to try to pull people to themselves and it's not going to cause confusion. The Lord's going to come with 10,000 thousands of his saints.
Speaker 1:We'll prevail too.
Speaker 3:It's the greatest time in history to be alive and the stranger it gets, the more awesome it gets for those of us who are expecting something big. We can feel it. It's got
Speaker 1:I I agree. I think we're, like, right on the cusp of something. I don't know what that something is. I don't think it's a good thing. That's my take.
Speaker 1:The enemy is ramping up things like in ways I've never seen before. Things can turn on a dime, we've and seen that. Look at Bashar Al Assad. Poof. He's gone just like that.
Speaker 1:After decades in power, I'll just... You know, you wake up the next morning, Bashar Al Assad fled Syria. He's living in Russia. You know, it's like, what? You can't make his stuff up.
Speaker 1:But I'm gonna give you the last word. We're kind of kind of wrap it up here. But how do people find you? How do people contact you? I mean, I get people that, you know, look, here's the deal.
Speaker 1:People are dreaming dreams. You know, a lot of people that email me, they're they're unsettled in their spirit. They they feel something is approaching. They're not sure what it is. I always tell them, read Psalm 91.
Speaker 1:You know, get Psalm 91 in into your spirit man or woman. Know it. Be be able to rattle it off. You know, because that's, you know, thou, oh lord, are a shield about me. You're, you know, you're you're my deliverer.
Speaker 1:I mean, are things that we have to wash our minds in. So, I'll give you the last word. How do people contact you? And thanks for coming on the record. Really appreciate it.
Speaker 3:Well, I mean, it's an honor and I admire you and and your work and those aren't just words.

Speaker 3:One of the things we're doing right now, of course, we have our weekly Sunday service is we're located at 1180 Garnett Road, Lancaster, South Carolina. But in January, we're starting a prophetic school. One weekend a month for three months. It's called Omega School of the Prophetic. Omega something in its fullest.
Speaker 3:Right. Most mature, greatest form. And so for four sessions, Thursday night, Friday morning, Friday evening, Saturday morning. The second weekend of January, the second weekend of February and March. People can do it online.
Speaker 3:They come to their own home or in person. We're going to teach people hands on. How do we know the voice of god? Distinguishing it from the voice of our own mind. Distinguishing from the from demonic spirits because if something can't confess Jesus as Lord.
Speaker 3:It's out of here.
Speaker 1:That's it. That's where you're from.
Speaker 3:Right. It's it's not for us. So, it it really is about for the glory of god and that the lamb of god would receive the full reward of his suffering and so that's what Friends of the Bridegroom is all about. Chris Reed Ministries is all about. That's what our church is all about.
Speaker 3:We have church Sunday, 10:30 every week. It's in the Greater Charlotte Metroplex. Oh, okay. Sure. Sure.
Speaker 3:So, I'm just forty minutes straight down Highway 521 from coming out of Charlotte, North Carolina, but we're just on the South Carolina side, ten minutes from the North Carolina border. But it's all about Jesus. Get him getting his glory and and the less and less and less of me more and more and more of him. And yes, this is abounding. Isaiah 60 gives us the promise.
Speaker 3:Deep darkness will cover the earth. Deep darkness will cover the peoples but then the glory of the Lord will light upon you. So there's a showdown coming. Oh, yes. Darkness is getting darker.
Speaker 3:Yep. But light is getting lighter. And so it's getting easier and easier to tell the difference, to know the difference. And so I just am thankful to be with you to, to to share this time with you and to give glory and and whatever we're sharing, god uses people. He uses humans.
Speaker 3:So, to share this time with you, share our experiences, and and what's happening in the Earth and current events is so important. Glory to god in Jesus name.
