Here humans craft and share their personal, compelling, beautiful, sometimes difficult 17 minute story of when God got real in their life and how that experience changed them. Following their story, they consider with host Sarah Hollar how their experience continues to affect them in their relationships, their sense of self and their way in the world.

Hello, friend. Welcome, and thank you for your curiosity and your click.
I'm Sarah Holler, and for several
years, I've been intrigued by how humans experience God in their lives.
I've wondered how and when God shows up in ways people see, hear, or know in their bones.
Ways in which God makes God's self tangible, perceptible, manifest in their
lives in a particular moment or event.
Ways they cannot be argued out of believing.
I've also wondered how these personal encounters affect their ongoing relationship with God.
How they shape their sense of God and their sense of self.
Was this a one-off experience or do they now see God's presence in other ways at other times?
I'm curious about the experience of sharing their stories with others.
Is it risky or comfortable to share this story with loved ones or strangers?
How do they decide if or when to share it?
So, in the vein of TED Talks and NPR's Moth Hour,
I've asked my friends and colleagues and friends of friends and colleagues of
colleagues and you and your friends to send me their story of when God got real in their life.
In their own words, in their own voice, these are real lives,
real people, real stories.
I hope you will find these tender, truthful, beautiful, challenging accountings compelling.
I hope our conversation following will inspire you to locate and claim when
God got real for you and the difference it has made.
Happy, wholly listening.
