Cinema PSYOPS

The ruthless boss of a trucking company, King Carroll (Chris Wiggins) is intent on putting all local independent truckers out of commission, including amiable tough guy Duke (Jerry Reed). Joined by his good buddy, Rane (Peter Fonda), Duke defies King Carroll's attempts to shut him down, resulting in an increasingly tense conflict. The boys find an ally in female trucker Pickup (Helen Shaver), but can the threesome succeed in triumphing over Carroll's goons?

What is Cinema PSYOPS?

Cinema PSYOPS is a weekly film review podcast where we experiment on an impressionable mind to find out why physical wounds heal, but Cinematic ones don't.

[Music]

Push out!

To signal it, how they're so low Must I outside

Amen.

[Music]

I can deserve to live Show PK short, but still feels long.

Just two billion for us, babble it on!

Just two middle eggs where I was babbling.

This podcast sucks. Tip a style suck. This show still fucking sucks. It's too many late for us, try to do a show. Virtue single-in, how they're so wow. Tip a style suck, this podcast up, ship usy out, suck, this show still fucking sucks.

And welcome to the five hundred thirty-eighth episode of Cinema Psyop.

Psyops.

I'm your host, Cort, the guy that is really stoked that we ended up with the type of movie that we did when I chose to pick Highballin' from nineteen seventy eight, and who has to do the notes with that but my co-host.

No, I'm highballing it every day. What's going on?

Mm.

Yeah.

Fourth of July.

You are the type of guy that would drink a highball. That's your thing. You would totally do that.

I would. Damn right I would. I'd drink eight of'em motherfuckers.

Motherfuckers. Yeah. So you finally, for the first time, we've gotten to where I can play clips and things back to where you can hear them too through Zoom. Finally got it to work.

Yeah, he does that show.

Suck.

Yeah, you would you would wonder why someone would write such a hateful theme song for us, right? Yeah.

Yeah. I mean it was definitely one of us. Uh

Definitely one of us that wrote that.

I'm the only guy The only people I know who hate us this much is us.

Yeah, nobody else wants to give us that much energy, right? Like only we hate each other in our

No, no.

Yeah, yeah. I I'm just telling you, man, no one hates me like me. No one hates me some mat more than me. I'm telling you right now.

Yeah, nobody doubting that at all. Nobody.

No.

I'll back and throw the ball around a bit. But it's all right. We'll be fine.

Oh man, this is

Sorry, I'm not just gonna get all the tattoos.

This is definitely going to be an interesting week to talk about this. Uh I just wanna state right out front.

when I first started watching this and I saw it was a Peter Fonda flick, I was like, Oh, okay. So Peter Fonda is doing a vanity project where he wants to be in on the trucker craze.

Right, but he still has to be a biker. And then the easiest way to get people to like Peter Fonda in a trucker craze type film, uh, let's just bring in Snowman, right? Like skip of all the credits.

Just let the man come in. Mm take care of it. Let Jerry Reed handle all the shit.

Peter Fonda's all like I have a vanity project, but I don't have the charisma to be able to pull this off on my own, apparently. So I'm just gonna hire Jerry Reed to make me as likable as possible and play his best.

Right. That's how they faked it. That's how they got it going. And I'm giving Peter Fonda shit. He's got tons of charisma. I'm just being facetious.

I was about to say, man, let's settle down on the Peter Fonda hate over here.

No, I have absolutely no hate for Peter Fonda. I just wanted to state that I definitely think that this is uh probably one of the corniest uh trucker movies we've done so far.

Ha ha ha.

Oh big time. Big time. And even as an annoying goddamn kid. I swear to God.

Oh yeah. Yeah. Well instead of brutalizing the film, why don't we take the break here? We'll they we'll play the Legion Patreon ad and when we come back we'll have some music that was

created in some inspiration for the plot line for the film, as we've been doing all along for a while now. Can't comment on it because it hasn't been created yet. Can't play it for Matt'cause it hasn't been created yet. It gets created whenever it does, right before the episode goes out. So

Yeah. Uh when we come back we'll have that and not be able to really comment on it, and then we'll get into the covering highballin' from nineteen seventy eight.

Mm-hmm.

Oh.

Oh, hi there. I didn't see ya.

You call me cutting a new show.

Show.

I'm Bo Ransdell and I'm one of the mini creators you can find on Legion Podcasts.

My fellow podcasters and I work hard to bring you the best in horror podcasting.

But that comes at a cost.

What's that?

[Silence]

Not that, but also yes.

No, what I'm getting at- is that there are server costs, costs for good microphones and software for editing, all the things that make our shows, you know, fun to listen to.

And you can help.

If you're enjoying the shows on Legion Podcasts dot com or Or in the Legion Network available on iTunes and Stitcher, just about anywhere you can download a podcast really.

You can help us out and get a little something for your trouble at patreon dot com Ford slash Legion Podcasts.

We appreciate it and thank you for listening.

Changing up the game.

As I mentioned, we can't really comment on the song. I have no idea how it turned out or what got created for this, but I will basically instruct it to be created to follow the plot line of the film and tell the story and hopefully

Yeah, yeah. Uh the very first clip I will warn you, uh has some language on it that uh you you probably have to edit later.

All right, so why don't we uh get into that because uh Highballin from nineteen seventy eight had some very insensitive things in the clips.

The clips.

Well, I mean it was nineteen seventy eight. So anyway, high ballin', the first thirty minutes starts. Uh a trucker pulls over to help a lady who looks stranded and he gets jacked. Uh some dudes take his semi and they uh they leave him knocked out on the side of the road.

And we cut through some truckers and make it a stop and that is our first

first we gonna do Duke?

You, I don't know. You'll guess good at mine, son. But I'll tell you one thing, Lukey's getting a little bit concerned. I don't know who's gonna be next. Could be you, could be me. Yeah.

Told him there's a grounded

The grounded fever on

Fever on the side.

the side by the time they come He'd been ripped off, and he was out colder to jump.

Oh, earlier January 6th.

January sailcat!

Well, we can't panic.

That's the one.

That's the one thing.

One thing can't be.

Can't do. We gotta stick together now. It's just that simple. Ain't nothing that's.

Nothing that simple anymore, dude.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha!

Where in the hell have you been?

The hell have you been keeping it?

You've been keeping yourself.

Oh here and there get my share. Yeah, your share and everyone else's. Oh, I keep the rust off. Hey, come on.

Hey, come on, let me buy you a cup of coffee.

You know how long it's been since I laid out.

It's been a long time, huh?

How about you take care?

Yeah, how about you?

How about you?

What's eating him? Same thing as eating the rest of us.

Says he's through as an independent.

Independent.

Say he's gonna sign up

Just sign up to King Carol.

We got hijacking ring.

Jack and Rain.

They're picking us off one at a time, like flies.

Sounds like you got some trouble.

Son, you don't know the half of it. Yeah?

Hey, you hike that any higher.

You're gonna have to breed it, Gail.

I need you to take it.

But take on a hitch.

Yeah.

Hey Duke, how you doing?

Hello, Harvey.

Alright.

Субтитры сделал DimaTorzok

Results but

Yeah, Smokey can't figure out.

You can't figure it out.

You can't trust nothing yet.

Well now, bushes, the law's doing all it can do. Yeah, well it ain't nothing.

Well it ain't enough.

I'm gonna put out a horn.

My ass.

Smokey's in reward.

How many times do I have to tell you guys?

The only ones the cops are gonna help.

The trucking companies. There's no way they're gonna protect us independence.

Thank you.

The day you junk runners get help from Smokey is the day you get a retreat cherry.

What do you need, huh?

What do you need, honey?

Well, when I need I can't get here.

Thank you.

So I'll have um Can of soda and a piece of jerky.

What? You ever think about using some ordinance?

Uh what?

Pieces.

Firearms, you know.

Guns, Jerk.

No way for the gun. Forget the gun.

Suit yourself. But just remember, when the independents were getting hijacked up north last year, the cops didn't give a sweet dam, and the trouble ended when the truckers took matters into their own hands.

You know, for a peace-loving socialist, you sure talk about your gun a lot, aren't you?

Here, I'll get that one.

Terima kasih kerana menonton!

Thank you.

Thank you.

Do what?

You just leave all that to me.

감사합니다.

I've already been to the zoo.

What?

And you could work every day of your life.

save up all your money And on your last day you wouldn't have enough to pay for my overtime.

Turkey.

[Silence]

Maybe you ought to try sending her flowers by wire. Good help.

Makes you funny, does it?

Yeah, kinda.

Who's your friend?

Do you know what they call you?

If you can't get a woman, get a clean old man.

Oh man.

Uh, do you mind if I ask you a personal question about them boots of yours? Reason I say person is I never saw nobody but Wear boots like that.

They're serviceable.

I call the left one me.

And the right one, Alice.

Well now you tell me. Can you run an

Can you run in them boots?

Like the wind if I have to.

Well you have unless you want me to show you.

Why would you shove those boots?

Straight up your ass.

Course maybe.

Maybe you'd like that.

Come on, Reggie, don't make it.

Reggie, don't make any trouble in here.

Harvey, will you pull this hot hat off?

He's a grown boy, Mom.

Don't worry, Ma.

I'll take a loads.

God, I wish you wouldn't.

Mm-hmm.

Move it!

You're not gonna cut me any slack at all, are you?

How do you want it, sir?

What it sucker.

Okay. Irons. Irons would be just fine. Come on.

The big one.

Right.

All right. Um So then uh Rain they get out there, they're gonna do some metal pole beat downs and Rain beats the dude and then the dude tries to attack him from behind, but his own buddy who is sit next to Harvey stops him with a gun.

Uh, so uh rain like yeah I guess I own one.

Um Duke then takes Rain to his home and hey there's dialogue, so that's our next clip.

This is the way.

Well I can see why. It's beautiful here, Vaughn.

Rain, I bet you go everywhere. You probably see the whole world.

Well make pieces of it anyhow.

Anyhow.

Nothing nicer than you got here, Tank.

Alright, I'll see you in another bite.

Why don't we go work off some of the metas um

Duke, you're not gonna really give up trucking, are you?

Hey, what is this? What's but all the hard questions.

Rain, I really think I will.

Well I'm older and tired.

Ain't the same anymore.

Ah, but shoot, that really ain't it.

Oh, this hijack is deaf.

Oh, I know it. Ain't worried about dead and brains.

Just I pushed this rig too many years ago, so I'm tired, son. I've just had to lick. Ain't fun anymore.

Well, then it sure as hell time to quit.

How you fixed? Money?

Money? Oh well, we're getting by paying the bills. You know, doing all right.

Besides, I'll make a couple runs of this thing and I'll sell it.

Everything off and I'll be square with the world.

Well it sounds like you got it all clocked, Bubba. Yeah.

Yeah, I don't know, Duke huh.

I'm still looking.

I know what you're looking for

Be a side easier if I did.

Hey look, what's you doing the next couple weeks?

Nothin' I can't shake.

Great son, I'll tell you what we'll do. You gonna take one more ride with the old duke.

Oh now wait a minute. I'll tell you what we do. We go out and we raise here like we used to. Earn up some hour way now.

You don't understand.

I come in here on two wheels and I'm gonna go out on two. No more of that 18 stuff for me.

No more of this egging stuff for you, huh?

After Dan Ludley.

Well, now you better think about that, because the best I can remember, me and you used to have a good time.

Now that ain't it. What do you think about it?

Think about it.

One more time.

Duke!

Here now

Whoa!

What? Breaker 19, this is the Iron Duke. XFL 0929.

Damn, I lost him.

I was doing dishes and I heard someone using your handle on the box. Calling in an emergency.

He's mine.

Thank you.

You sure?

Yeah.

Yeah. Well who was it? What did he say?

Well I didn't hear.

When I tried to raise them, they died.

Right.

Breaker 19, breaker 199. This is the one-iron duke. Uh any of 18 wheelers out there ringing my phone, bring it back.

Breaker 199, breaker 199. Any 18 wheelers in range, bring it back to the one iron duke.

Whoever it was is down or gone, huh?

Could be long gone.

I'm coming too.

No, no, no, no, you stay here with mama.

But you promised.

You said I could come next time.

You promised

I know, old tanker, I know. But now listen, some of my friends may be in trouble, hmm?

And if they are, that ain't no place for a little boy. So you stay here and you watch half tomorrow tonight.

We'll go tomorrow, all right?

You promise?

Yes, I promise.

Watch out for tomorrow. Bye, man.

This is the Iron Duke XFL 0929.

Alright, so Uh, we see another trucker, he's getting jacked and Duke Rain and the cops they all go out looking for him and they find him and he was left for dead in the snow.

So uh m probably not the coolest thing to ha happen. So No.

Yeah, no, it's uh that that wasn't rap.

Rad

of them.

Uh

So then uh Rain and the Duke, they are at a bar while Duke's getting hammered in our next clip.

Okay.

We got there as soon as we could.

We could.

Oh, Duke. Listen, Duke, I gotta tell you something.

Whoever did this

Knew you were out of action tonight. They knew your handle and they used it. Don't you see?

They know you truckers here inside out.

Out. Okay, I'm back, I'm gone.

Maybe it's time to put it to bed.

Right, Duke, I'm gonna stick with you, huh?

Sticking with you. I'm going to help you. I'm going to take you home.

Huh? No. Yeah, I'm gonna drive you home.

Yeah.

Thank you.

Oh yeah.

Here you go.

Here you go. Come on. I was sleeping. I'm okay. Yeah.

Thank you.

I'll be out there in a second. I'll tuck you in, huh? Yeah.

You okay, eh?

Um, beg pardon, miss?

Come on.

You remember me.

Well um I don't guess so, but uh

I sure remember you.

Right.

The hot shot with the iron. Very nice. Very nice.

You stuck around for that one, huh?

Yeah, I stick around.

I want to make sure that creep didn't follow me.

No. Nah, he went home.

Or somewhere. Sure as I lost interest in you and a big curry.

What are you doing here?

Kendra.

Friend of ours, okay.

I know. I jacked.

I know.

I relaved his twenty to the bears.

You did?

What are you, a trucker?

I ain't no go-go dancer

Your buddy's gonna be okay. I checked it out with the medics.

Well, that that was very nice of you, um.

I mean I'm I'm I'm glad to hear that.

Look, I I don't want to be rude.

Why do you say we blow that bob stand and go dance and have a couple of beers?

Well, I was just thinking that maybe

Nobody thinks for me but me, my friend.

Mm.

Если я хочу.

Yeah, well uh how will I know?

How will I know about it?

When you want me.

If I want you.

Catch me on the rad video, baby.

Later.

Alright, so the boys pull up to Carol's.

uh to load up the truck and uh yeah That is our next clip.

This is totally the way.

Bye.

Oh yeah. Dougie? Need some help? Got a hangover, money?

Why didn't we make us a drunk last night?

It's your mouth. You can all call with it.

Ha ha ha ha ha.

You're looking bad in your clothes now there, kid.

Well, I'm feeling bad in my clothes. Let me help.

Let me help you along here.

What the hell are you doing?

Shoveling snow. I can see you're shoveling snow. Well, what are you shoveling snow for? So my rig. Working for you.

Working for Carol now.

Carol now. I'd acting Duke.

I can do. I'm scared.

Scared.

Hey, buddy, how about loan a truck for me?

You talking to me?

I think I'm talking to you.

Sorry to you.

Well now do you just

Just wait a minute.

Wait a minute.

I think you're

I think you're forgetting something.

Get some here.

Drink a cup of coffee.

But if you keep jacking me around and jacking me around, I'm gonna mash your.

Yo, hey.

Wait.

You better watch your mouth.

mouth.

Hey hey now.

Well I'll just

Hey, hey, hey, now, you boys here got a little ring-a-ding going or what?

No, I'm not sure.

No, I'm just trying to get your monkey out of his tree to load my truck. He come in here giving orders.

Well, can I uh get you boys a cup of coffee, eh?

Uh no. Thank you very much. Uh I've had mine.

Where are you boys bound for?

Green Bay hell of a town, mate. You gotta be careful. Look out for them hookers. And hijackers, you gotta keep your eyes peeled.

We got eyes.

Yeah, you need him, boy. Sin what's going on, Matt. Dog looney's out there.

There. By the way, did you get the permit I need? No bug.

Oh, by golly, no, I didn't have time. I mean them deals take two, three days to clear.

Also take an extra hundred and a half, too, don't you?

Listen, I'll tell you what I'm gonna do. You boys get jumped and I'll pay the fine. Now how's that?

Oh, that's real answer.

Of course your independence if you had some real good sense, you'd be working for old King Carol.

You gotta stand an offer here.

Good buck security any time you want to sign.

Well thank you.

Appreciate that, Mr. Carol. But I've been on my own so long, huh?

I just like him better there.

Like a better that way.

Oh, you're bucking the trend, Duke.

Yeah, well...

I'm just Henry.

There you go.

Oh, just check out and you're on your way and good luck, hmm?

Bye.

Uh, you boys come back now when you're ready for another one. Hey, King Carol needs your business, you hear?

Here. Whoa, whoa, what is that extra$50? What is that?

That's for a hurry up on the load. Well, you take it extra 50.

And you stick it up where the sun don't shine.

And if I wasn't in such a hurry, I'd stick around and assist you.

Well,$150 to load it,$50 for the dispatcher.

Ain't no wonder Carol's ready to get my tickets.

Really. Well you paying for the ranch, Baba? Well

Well yeah, at least we're doing that.

Well then I'm happy.

Do it to it.

Go.

Well they do can reign pick up his son'cause they promised he could go and they drive off.

Well, pickup, the lady who's also a trucker, but it's a pickup truck. But anyway, she And her names pick up.

So we're it's fine. Um anyway, she calls out of the C B and hey it's C B talks. That has to be your next clip.

Yeah, that's fair. This is the way.

Break ity break, break ity break on one nine looking for a fresh talker.

Uh hey, I believe it's at uh Mobile Beaver there.

I do believe.

I do believe.

Uh goalbreaker, this wouldn't by chance be the uh

This is the one and only pickup

O'Brien, Duke. Hey cutie, what's your twenty, honey?

Well we're at mile thirty one. Uh what's up, Bicka?

Well, not that you deserve it, but I just saw a bear go by with a hammer down a candle slit, and if you're running fat, you better bury it. Turkey.

40 Rogers, little lady. We're heading for the wood pile. Do appreciate it. Dir and do. Gone by.

Do it.

Guess we oughta pull it over, huh?

I'll take it down over here.

Alright.

Alright.

So uh they get uh they you know the they avoid smokey, uh which is what the whole thing was about.

Uh then they come up on a detour sign, they take it, they're driving, they come to a low bridge And so they have to let air out of the trucks the semi tires just to get the cars they have underneath the bridge.

Well while they're doing that, we see the detour was fake. It's set up by the the carjackers, obviously.

As they're driving up they see the same setup. The lady asked her for help. By now everyone's a little wise of the game, so they blow right past her. And we have a chase that begins, which is

Pretty awesome action sequence. Um

Uh uh

Uh uh Rain gets out of the back of the semi, he starts hurling metal rods'cause they're shooting at him.

Uh at one point he does take

Take

uh uh uh some of the guys out um, who were uh uh you know, he takes out one of the cars that smashes through the windsill but the pickup trucks chasing So oh, and then a guy jumps onto the back and he and Rain fight and r Rain throws him from the goddamn semi.

Then Rain starts using uh flares, lighting the cars on fire and then pushing the cars that they're hauling off at the pickup truck.

Uh, eventually they uh let go of the um We undo the uh trailer and it blocks the pickup truck.

Right as the semi runs out of gas, but of course there's pickup who they've been talking to. She gets them all into her pickup truck and they're able to escape and that is the end of the first thirty probably forty five minutes actually. But I just couldn't stop.

in this middle of this chase.

And that's also a a good plan is to not stop it in the middle of the chase. I mean that completely makes sense. I just I gotta state Once the action stuff happens, it's really, really great and the stakes seem really, really steep.

Uh, the actual like fight that takes place in the diner earlier where um, you know, the guy basically is calling uh

the biker uh homosexual slur like over and over again and then he's just had enough and they decide to go out and fight. And they're gonna fight with iron bars and then they do it in the most jets uh flipping, you know, out the switchblade and snapping their fingers.

kind of way that you could ever see someone fight with an iron bar.

Uh just to kind of prove a point in masculinity and it made me go, Oh oh God, what am I in store for?

Right. Like I just completely was like, oh no. And then they go and do this fucking truck chase.

And then letting out the air of the tires and they do all this other stuff.

And it immediately suckers me right back in.

And I mean

It doesn't make any sense that the stuff that they're about to do with dropping the cars on the truck and all that bullshit. Like it totally like how they're fighting back didn't make any sense when then they still end up all getting shot. But at least they all get away. Yeah. You know?

Like it's it doesn't have to be real Yeah. It doesn't have to be reality, it just has to be entertaining and it sure fucking was and that's why I'm like hey is this actually good? What's going on?

Yeah, and here's the thing.

Yeah. It is actually good.

Right.

Right. The chase was actually pretty fucking cool. And I get it. Like they're fighting for their lives because they know these guys are gonna kill them to make a point. So they just start lighting cars on fire and shit. And we haven't really talked about that, have we?

No, no, yeah. The the the flares th the them lighting the cars on fire is fucking just

yeah like this is I don't know

I don't know how flares necessarily.

He had a big can of gas. They show him dumping gas in the first car.

card but they died

I missed that.

Yeah.

They do show him dumping gas in the car.

And basically then dumping the car out onto the guys and then that's what causes the explosion somehow.

Uh

Still looks fucking cool. Yeah, still looks fucking cool. With still a good fucking time. Yeah.

Feel pretty fucking rad. Yeah. Yeah. This is

This is this is a justifiable point. Basically the movie's about an hour and a half and it's the first half of the film, it takes so long to get to the good stuff, but once we're here, it's all entertaining for the most part from here on out.

Few more moments of like bullshit drama that we'll have to slog through. But the rest of the time, Matt's gonna have to describe some insane action and fail to do it properly.

Yes.

Yes, and I and it will of course go wrong at every turn. So

So So why don't we get into the next half or whatever we've got left?

left. Yeah. Well we start we're fixing the truck and there's dialogue, so that's our next clip.

This is the way.

It's a truck up, dude.

It's a trucker.

Truck out, Duke.

Have a day.

You know what I've been thinking.

I'm thinking maybe maybe we ought to back off a little bit.

What are you talking?

Talk about.

I don't believe you.

시청해주셔서 감사합니다.

It ain't like it used to be.

I got an obligation. I got a what?

I got a wife.

I got a kid. I can't go up and down the road being shot at.

So I'll go to work for Carol.

Big deal. So what? Just means I won't get the farm paid off as quick. But I will get a payday every week.

Yeah.

Thanks.

We could have been killed out there, son.

Well it ain't like you, Duke, to go sweating your ass off for somebody else. Never was, you know.

Okay, so ain't so proud no more.

Well I believe that.

I'm bust. I'm broke.

Well, I could always sell my fair white body. You'd all be rich.

Will you please give us a break?

You got a better idea?

Yeah.

Yeah, all we need is a

What we need is a pitcher and a catcher.

I will save his whiskey.

That rot guy, whatever he calls it.

Yeah, yeah, who's the catcher?

Υπότιτλοι AUTHORWAVE Lacarouge, they're always thirsty.

And if we make a good run, we get ten thousand.

Mm-hmm.

Oh come on.

Barn accidents, early winter.

Yeah.

And if you kids think slave.

Yeah, Santa Claus, and you got another thing coming. We gotta have six thousand dollars to get a load. Now, where are we gonna get six thousand dollars, huh?

I'll flag my batch.

My bike for a grand.

Would you do that? Sure.

And that needs a short five big ones.

Oh, we could always pay your powder blue pickup.

Oh, oh.

Are you too serious?

Yeah.

I tell the table.

His mortgage on the house?

And Duke will pay the same.

We'll pay the six thousand.

Six thousand dollars.

Geez, Duke, that's a triple threat without insurance.

Sure is.

You sure you want to run it?

Oh yeah, I wanna run it.

'Cause you gonna help me, right?

Yeah.

Right. So let's go see Slater.

What

Oh right.

Take up some booze.

All right, well anyway, uh so now they have a plan and they pull up to this warehouse for the booze And well, there's more dialogue, so it's our next clip.

Sit tight.

Oh no, I'm coming in.

Not a chance.

Yeah.

No you're not going to be able to do

No you're not, and no you can't.

Well, whose idea was it? I'm coming in.

No, you're not.

All right, then I'm taking off. I'm just to hell with you guys. Couple your own bets. Have a good time, sweetheart. Okay.

Someday, little lady, you're gonna learn these things you can.

And things you can't bust.

Hello!

¿Who is he?

I don't know

You tell pick up the water.

Pick up to wait on it?

Um no

You didn't air pick up the way.

pick up the wait on it.

No, no, we can use a little exercise. We need to

We need a collection.

Meaning we're gonna have to walk.

Yeah, we beat feet.

You got care up there?

Oh, I can find it in my pants someplace.

He better, cause I ain't gonna have anything left if he gets it.

Thank you.

Straight ahead.

First aisle to your left.

to your left.

Thanks.

That's great. Just make pick up man, not gonna walk home.

Pick up the hat, she wanted to come up with it.

I love walk.

You see that guy with the piece of the water?

Do you want to have it?

Can I have him?

Rain, I really ain't too sure of that.

Well, if you don't do it, what are your chances?

If I don't do it, I got two chances. Slam. And none.

And none, right. Right.

Hello, Slater? Hello, Duke.

What you after?

Oh, we want a load of liquor.

But just tell us how it is, mister.

We gotta make the run, you know what I mean?

You guys work from

work for me.

I pay you by the job.

You buy the load.

You're on your own.

Well, how much does it take?

Six grand for Lily.

You haul it, you sell it, you have a ball.

A ball.

And I got no headache.

That's the deal. Take it away.

You'll take it or leave it.

You have the liquor ready to go in the morning at dawn. You gotta deal.

All right.

So anyway, we cut to a cool little honky tonk and everyone's having fun.

And I'm like, Dif there's if there's anything that's a honky tonk, it's it's it's fucking this. Uh

Yeah.

This is how your honky talk is what you're saying?

Yeah, this is definitely how they honky tonk. That's uh that's a fact.

Uh

Um

So anyway, um

Uh and Rain and Duke are talking, hey, it's verbiage. Means the clip.

I mean, are you sure that he's not gonna give you any trouble on the note?

Oh no, no trouble.

Trouble.

Ed Morgan?

Good as case.

Well, I hate to see you put it all on the line, man. Okay.

Bitch and moan, bitch and moan. Why don't you guys just grab hands and jump into a volcano?

Thank you.

Yeah, we lost that one.

Ah no no. You don't lose me because I don't belong to anyone.

Did you ever consider a career in the Navy?

A career in the Navy.

Cute, cute, very cute. I happen to be a truck driving man.

It's so good.

So what did she say?

Oh, give me.

Oh, give me a break.

You know you guys, you know what really bugs me?

Is I've saved your asses twice now. I don't want thanks. I don't want nothing from you. But I wish you had the guts just to admit it and let me help you.

Cause it wouldn't be here, you know.

Τσεντραλάκια.

[Silence]

I'll send that to you

I'm a married man, she didn't.

She didn't say that to me.

That way.

Uh, you think you'd be out of Duke?

Seven o'clock, okay?

Buh-bye!

Now what you have to do that for? Nice guy like that.

You know you're slow.

You're really slow.

Субтитры сделал DimaTorzok

Why did you just ask me to dance?

Yeah.

Oh right, let's dance.

Alright.

No.

So anyway, they dance and then two dudes try to cut in and actually try to just grab her and take her. So Rain fights'em. Again an awesome fight scene in which Rain jumps over

Like uh there the there's like a top level of his bar and he jumps over like an area, lands on a table, then beats the shit out of a guy'cause he got cornered and then throws the guy off and then they run. It's fucking pretty excellent shit.

It's like classic Hollywood.

Uh good fights.

Western bar fight maneuvering and stunts. And it's actually really cool. You're not wrong. It is traditional Hollywood stunts from a bygone era that you're witnessing being done and they look great.

Yeah, agreed. Um Let's see here.

Again, I ask you is this actually a good movie? Holy fuck.

Yeah.

Bye. Fuck Cort, I think it is.

Like I don't want it to be. Like I really want to dislike this. But like the shit that they're putting in it is actually like the action is roping me in enough to where I'm like, you know what? I don't think I care that this story's not great. I really don't.

I really wanted to hate this movie. I was like, okay, I'm gonna really bash this fucking movie.

And I I kinda like it.

Yeah.

Right.

I say that had fun.

I begrudgingly like this movie, like I wanna hate fuck it practically.

Ha ha ha ha ha.

You're like fine.

Why is it turning me on? Fuck!

I hate you so much, but fuck, let's go to bed.

Clap.

Yeah, there you go. Okay, then let's go to bed.

Oh my god, all right.

So anyway, uh they take off and the dudes follow them and Rain kinda spots him, so he tells her to go up to the hotel.

And to...

Uh, get a cabin and he'll be up there. And so what he does was because those two guys fell too far behind, they were gonna follow him, but he makes sure that they keep going and they don't notice and don't stop the hotel.

So if they did he was gonna get uh he was gonna get the jump on him. Physically.

Yeah.

Then we uh all of a sudden she uh gets the hotel, it gets undressed and man, she has quite a number on uh underneath her clothes. That's uh that's something.

Yeah, what do you think she was picking up on the road with that truck?

Yeah, yeah, that's...

They're heavily implying she's a prostitute, right? Like that she's a lot lizard, like she travels around and sells it when she feels like it.

Uh f I don't know what she is, but I think so because her name's Pickup.

back up.

if she drives a pickup. Yeah. She says she's a trucker, but she

You're not a trucker. You're in a pickup truck. That's not be the trucker.

Trucker.

Like, that's like a guy on, like, one of the...

crotch rocket speedster motorcycle saying they're a biker. They're not actually a biker. They're

They're not. It's just they're just not. Different.

Different different kind of biker, but I get what you're saying. They're not a one percenter. Yeah. They're still a biker. There is not a one percenter.

Yeah.

Let's move on. I don't understand her character and I think a lot of it got cut out and I just it bugs me. And I just wanted to point it out that I think like they visually they've set her up to be a prostitute with the way that the thing that she drives and the fact that she has this outfit on underneath her clothes.

Like maybe this is how she makes some money. But then they don't comment on it and then that's it. Yeah.

But then like but she turned down that dude if she was a lot lizard, she turned down one of those trucker dudes, like at the very beginning.

Very beginning. Who would have probably paid a whole hell of a lot of money? Yeah. That's that's why I'm saying the movie's kind of weird with its story, is all I'm getting at.

I I will say this.

I don't know if she's a prostitute or if she went out looking for sex.

Just uh

just that night because she's been kinda like it's heavily implied in that first clip again that she's kinda aching for a little, you know, something to to to get her through the night.

From the right person.

For lack of a better term. Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. So I don't know. I don't know. Anyway, so uh

Yeah, she like thinks someone's breaking in. Uh, Rain comes in, she hits him over the head with a chair, uh, they have a good little laugh.

Uh then uh they get down to the fucking

Megan, Megan, what the fuck?

Yeah.

Yeah.

I don't know why I may be laughing together. Then they get done with the fucking Yeah, that's the end of that thirty minutes.

It's

It's kind of a mayonnaise tender sex scene that feels a little forced and

Yeah, it doesn't well it does not feel like she wants to be doing that with Peter Fonda.

Again, why I get this feeling she's a frosting.

Prostitute.

Yeah, but I mean, but it it seems like like she and Peter Fund are fucking in love or something. I I don't fucking know.

Yeah, the way she looks at him in that scene, it feels like someone is saying to her, Good luck with that hot Peter Fonda tale and she's looking at us going, Shut up, I don't like it any more than you do.

कर दो कर दो कर दो कर दो Well, I'm just uh trying to tell ya.

I know that look of utter detestment and disgust that a woman will give you even though they're willing to have sex with you. I know what that looks like and that was in her eyes.

Oh, same. Same, same. Yeah. That's uh I I know that look well.

Yeah, we are both very aware of what that look looks like in a woman's eyes.

Yeah. I mean holy shit. Yeah, I mean

I'm married. I know.

Right. Right. I've I've seen that with me coming out of the shower with that look of

I'm married to a woman who's a

I married to a woman who's way outside of my league. I understand what that look is.

Right. I've seen what my wife looks at me like whenever I step out of the shower at certain points in the time where she's like, Wow, this is what I ended up with. Great.

Great.

This is this is my life now.

This is what it is.

The small truth is known all through my house. Yeah.

Mm.

Yeah, and you're like, hey, man, don't you feel lucky to be with me.

She's less like I want you to go away.

No, I'm very well aware of what I look like in the mirror and I'm just I look right automatically, I see that look of depo disappointment and I go, Oh yeah, yeah, I get it.

It's fine. Yeah, no. I'm I I yeah, don't worry, babe. It's okay.

Okay.

We uh we love each other. It's all right. You can be this cruel.

Um let's move on.

All right.

Yeah, let's move on.

N na final thirty starts. Harvey Harvey walks into the king's office Or Harvey from the very beginning of the film, and that's our next clip.

This would be the way.

Yeah, no party tonight, eh?

I've had all the partying I need.

Well they gave you quite a run, didn't they?

You think that's funny, Carol?

Oh, come on, Harvey. That ain't my end of things. I'm just a businessman.

We're partners, King. When I got a problem, you got a problem and right now you got a problem.

No, that hijack car's all taken care of. It's been cut up into little pieces. Nobody ever gonna see that thing again.

It's not the fury I'm worried about. It's that cowboy.

Cowboy. Ah, he's got nothing. Never even seen your face, near the others.

He's not like the rest of them, King.

That's one you ain't gonna see running with his tail between his legs, but

Now it only takes one guy to start fighting back to make the others stick it out. There's only one way to deal with a dude like that.

Now you listen to me. I want them independents out of business. I want them busted. But with some kinds of hardball that I won't play.

There's only one way to play Hardball King, only one way I know anyhow and that's...

Anyway.

That's down and dirty, winner takes all.

Bye-bye.

Which starts.

Two, three.

Two, one.

What?

[Silence]

What's the matter, Daddy?

Tanker, what are you doing out of that bed, boy?

Well I heard you walking and I couldn't sleep.

Mm, I wanna ask you If I could go with you?

[Music]

Tanker, tanker, tanker.

Tanker.

The old man ain't too proud of what he gotta do with him.

And if I were to take you and me and something would happen to you.

[Music]

I'm big enough I can help ya.

You probably are.

And I'll tell you what I'm big enough to do.

Thank you.

Call from that little weasel slater.

This afternoon. He told me that a friend of yours got a hot sauce run lined up for tomorrow.

Running bows.

Yeah, that's right.

Now does that tell you anything?

But it tells me that he's hurtin'.

You heard him today.

No need for any killing. We just gotta squeeze him a little. He's gonna fold and go under. And when he does, the rest will just fall into line.

That still leaves the cowboy.

The cowboy. Ah, the cowboy would reform.

Now why do I doubt that?

What is it with you? You got something personal going against this dude?

He owes me one.

Besides

Like you say, King. Business, it's business.

And I seem to recall that half of it's still mine.

But I still call the shots and don't you forget it. I don't!

I don't think

That's one thing.

Thanks.

I never forget.

All right.

So, Duke takes off for his run in the morning.

Uh rain and pickup are in the hotel, uh and uh starting to bask in their glory.

Holy fucking afterglow bat man. Mm-hmm.

Mm-hmm. Uh in our n next clip.

I'm wide awake.

Cigarette.

I find it Quite a revitalizing experience, you know.

I mean there's something I've got to tell you.

You love me.

That turn out the light.

Light.

And come back to bed.

You know those men you were worried about following us?

Well there are two men right outside here right now.

Why? And they got machine guns, babe.

Terrific.

This is us getting hit.

Yeah.

Where's your magnum?

Through the truck, of course.

Window

Well, uh rain jumps through a window. Ja rain's a stunt man. You know, we find all this out. And so he knows how to you know, uh

jump around and get out of shit and jump through shit without hurting himself too bad. So he jumps through a window just and then pickups able to crawl through it and they're able to escape the men.

Uh, they then follow the dudes who head back to Carroll's and they they follow'em So he Rain tells Pickup to just stay in the truck and he's gonna go check it out.

Well while rain is in there Uh, pickup is kidnapped by a bunch of dudes.

Rain is cornered in one of the big warehouses, but he's able to rig a semi to ram uh the bad guys in their car

Uh uh it well almost ram, they're able to get out of the way. But it causes enough commotion, everything uh w the I mean Harvey's looking Um uh for him that Rain is able to slink out and he gets away.

So Harvey is talking to the king and he pretty much says he's gonna hit Duke on his run. He's gonna he's gonna jack Duke on this liquor run that they have the information about.

because uh in one of the previous clips they Uh they even explained it that the guy who they're getting the liquor from to do the run for Uh he uh he he's a little weasel and he let the king know.

Yeah.

Um, so the next day Duke shows up but there's no rain and he's a little mad about that, but he takes off to do his run.

Rain shows up shortly afterwards.

threatens the guy as he rightfully should, and then steals one of the guy's uh semis to catch up with Duke.

While as Duke's driving, he sees Harvey standing in the middle of the street.

Duke gets out, he tries to fight Harvey, but Harvey shoots him right in the stomach and leaves him.

Rain finds him, takes him home where an ambulance and a doctor are awaiting and he's still alive but he's hurt bad shot.

And the but they're getting a medical attention and Rain decides he's going after Carol and Harvey.

Well he calls on calls them on the C B and that is in our next

A break 1-9 for the King Carroll Base Station. You copy Carroll.

Go ahead, Breaker. You got Carol Bass.

You just ain't kidding, Carol. I got you all the way around.

Identify yourself, Riker.

You know who this is. You're crazy just shot my best friend, Carol. I'm coming in after you.

Mother kill me.

They'll kill him if he goes alone. You're coming with me to the hospital. Take her? I'm going to get help for Rain.

Frame.

Let's talk about a trade.

You got no.

You got nothing I want except maybe your life. You wanna talk about that?

Thank you.

Well, the son goes to Ma's restaurant to get all the other truckers to help. Hey, it's dialogue, it's our next clip.

This would be the way.

My husband shot the brain's going to King Carol's to get the hijackers who did it.

You gotta help!

You've gotta help me, please.

Okay, skid.

We gotta go!

Let me go. Let's go.

Rain, you got it.

You got spun, right?

That's butt Ranger on the

Ranger on the box.

Box, we're with you.

That's the one.

That's Bosco!

Repository, where in the-

Where are I waiting to?

You got support.

Support on the way!

Uh breaker 1990.

Way, watch your twenty, come back.

Yeah, for a sundown.

Yeah.

miles outside of Carroll.

Carol's.

I'm going in. I'm going in.

What's starting, Rain?

Here they come.

Oh yeah, after Roger Breaker.

Breaker. That was Harvey gunned him down.

But Carol's behind.

Carol's behind it.

Where is she came from?

Listen to you. There's 40 truckers on the way to here. Now you harm that girl and they're gonna lynch her, so you just cool it.

So what's your plan, King?

We supposed to go out there with our hands in the air, just give ourselves up, is that it?

That's the only thing we can do. I'm running things.

You sit there.

Sit there.

Copy?

The sledgehammer on-

Hammer on the shell.

We're joining the revolution.

Wheel mobile here.

Here, go to it, Sledgeon. God.

God bless ya.

We've heard you all set up from the get-

Pay for it. Come with your rain.

with your rain.

The troops are.

Troops is on the way.

Yeah.

Yeah, that's a big 410 all the way around.

So what were you gonna do, King?

You were gonna trade me for her, were you? What were you gonna do? Con yourself out and bust it? All right.

Alright. Black Devil.

Right behind you.

Black E two wheel.

Where is she?

She's in there.

Excellent. So anyway Uh the trekkers get there and there's a fight. Uh Harvey uh taking uh he Harvey grabs pickup Uh, the king tries to stop him and he gets shot for his efforts'cause King was like, Yeah, I want him out of business, but I don't want anybody dead

Uh, Harvey's kinda lost the fucking plot, I think.

Harvey then knocks out pickup.

and they drive away.

Well, Pickup wakes up while he's trying to drive away and they're like in the m like I looks like a fucking wasteland now.

Uh and she starts trying to jump, you know, grab the wheel. Uh

And we notice that uh rain is right behind him. And then Rain kinda hammers the car a bit. Uh pickup jumps out and then Harvey has to as it's getting ready to go over a hill.

And it does.

Well, uh Harvey gets picked up as a hostage, Rain is getting out of the truck and we're having our stare down in our next clip.

Mm this would be the way.

Yeah.

What about the one y'all?

Rainmaker?

That's between us. Let her go, Harvey.

Suppose I do.

Then what?

Well then it's just you or me, double or nothing. You call it.

Okay, hero.

What's it gonna be?

Well look at it this way.

One of us ends up over nothing.

Alright, well rain guns Harvey down.

It embraces pickup.

Well we cut back to Duke's place and it's our final clip.

Bye bye.

Well, by the time you heal out, I'll be ready to do a little cut though.

Cut though. Well, I will too, son.

Hey, you really gotta go.

Well I'm gone. Go. Get on down the road.

Y'all take care.

Take care!

Oh, we'll be good.

I don't know about old Lala's here but

così è vero Uh kick it.

Well tank.

There's a key.

You take real good care of it, huh?

But I don't want you to try to start it until you can pick it up by yourself.

Everyone, come back sometime when you can, okay?

I'll see you, Tang.

How about you don't tell me how to live my life, kid? And by the way, roll credits.

This podcast uh ship from say I'm so This show still fucking sucks!

Seems really hurtful, doesn't it?

Yeah, I d I mean I I'm just saying, man, w what what are we doing with ourselves nowadays?

Somebody took the time to write such a hateful song about this show, man.

Ga I feel like we know'em.

I think I I n I'm a little more familiar with the person than I would like to be, yes.

I bet you've seen this person naked, Gork.

I cannot comment on that, nor will I deny that.

on that.

Oh Jesus Christ. Anywho, fucking what an outstandingly fun film. I'm sorry, I'm not I'm not even no, I'm not sorry, I'm not gonna apologize. That movie was fun.

Yeah, it was way fucking better than I ever thought it would or should be. And that's just a weird thing to have to say about it. Like I feel like such a prick mentioning it and just putting it that way, but that's that's the truth. Like it just

It turned out way fucking better than it had any right to.

All the stunts landed the way that they were supposed to. Everything holds up as far as Watching it with modern eyes after watching, you know, a ton of older films and newer films all mashed together.

before we did this review, I was shocked at how much I enjoyed this. And like I was kind of angry at first.

But the more action they threw in, the more I was like, nah, nah, I'm in. And then to coup de gras.

Bunch of truckers working together to destroy private and public property. I'm down. I always love seeing that.

I I I I don't know how you can't be just not in love with that kind of shit.

Yeah.

Yeah, they they hit all of the things that I wanted to have a truck exploitation movie hit.

And this is where we're at in the pre-1980s trucker movies. We got one left. And uh uh as long as we get some more destruction of private and public property, trucks overrunning the road and going crazy, which I already know that we will because I've already written this.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Of course. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's already happening.

Yeah, I'm ready to move on to the car chase movies pre nineteen eighty and we'll go from there uh with the trucker movies after. That's awesome.

The best.

Well, I'm I'm done uh sucking the dick of this highballing film that turned out to be great. Uh by the way, it's on Amazon Prime.

at the time of this recording and hopefully shortly after the release still. Uh and hopefully you'll get a chance to see it there. That's how Matt watched it with commercials and then me because my bougie ass pays to not have them without. Yeah.

Yeah.

Yeah. Jeff Bezos just have to get free

I think it's the pay.

Extra bucks for me more just to get that to happen.

I think yeah, I think I used to not uh I y I have commercials and then we're like fuck that just w we we had to cut corners everywhere so

Yeah, they did a thing where they increased the rate where they were like, okay, now everybody with a prime subscription gets commercials unless you pay three or four dollars more to not have commercials.

Yeah. And uh I was like, you know what?

Like, you know what?

I have an idea. How about you go fuck yourself?

Yeah.

But unfortunately you still had to watch this movie on Prime. It is what it is.

I did. Yeah. Well what are you gonna do?

We're living this life.

Yeah.

Right.

We're being forced into this hellscape that we're living in, so fuck it.

Yeah.

Yeah, I have nothing to add to that, so why don't we take the break here? We're gonna play the show housekeeping, and when we come back we will have some more music that was created to m move along with the theme for highballing. Again, I have no idea how that's gonna sound, but it is what it is and

But

Changing up the game.

[Music]

Harvey's got a plan.

But he don't see the fire.

The fight.

[Music]

Rains chasin' shadows aimin' for the light.

the light.

And push come to shove.

Loyalty's the key.

[Music]

With the sound of the engine.

Okay, talk for me again.

There's been free.

Free.

Alright, you're coming through loud and clear.

Yep.

Yep, I agree.

And was the clips too overpowering for you when we started playing it or no.

No.

Yeah. Alright, so it looks like I'm recording on my OBS software. Let's see how that goes, but just because I want to have a backup of a backup of a backup, I'm going to now start recording to the cloud.

Recording in progress.

So that means that everything is recording, you can finally hear me.

And the zoom setting that was making it not work is insanely stupid.

No, no, it's literally insanely stupid. You have to check a box to share audio.

that then gets automatically unchecked whenever you share computer audio in the way that they have their settings. So it's a fucked UI glitch that I had to find to f to get it to work.

Let beer leave.

That's dumb.

Yeah. It is what it is, man. Uh you're on your headphones, I take?

Yeah, yeah.

No worries. Um I've got an older computer that I could have someone that is the uh Scavenger of the prepocalypse who would probably make it a Linux box that we could get your mic working on that would just literally be just a like a zoom call Linux box and that would be it.

Right.

Yeah.

Well yeah, let me see if I can get it working uh before we do all that. Because it worked before, so it's it's gotta work again. I I also know this laptop is now missing updates like a motherfucker so'cause no one's running'em.

Honestly, you could probably come through my mic the way that we podcast with your booming voice. I mean, like headphones do not limit your range or your sound all that much at all. It's amazing.

Amazing.

That's that's very true.

Yeah.

All right, well I am ready to roll. Uh I need to um looks like I didn't say those settings, so let me

Copy over your clips for High Ballin. That's what you did, right? Yep.

Yep, I did high bombing.

Alright, so I got all fourteen clips for High Ballman loaded.

And for the very first time since this season has started, you finally get to hear the actual theme song for this year.

So here it is in all two minutes and whatever of its glory. Minute thirty five. Awesome. Here you go.

You're fine.

Oh anyway, three, two, one.

One.

Alright, this is four minutes but I gotta turn some of the clips down so I'm gonna do that real quick and let it play.

कर दो कर दो

One thing.

Субтитры сделал DimaTorzok

I don't know who's gonna be next. Could be you, could be me.

Goddamn, Jerry Reid's just.

Golden is a graph.

Beaver on the

By the time they got to him, we'd been ripped.

He's been ripped off.

And he was out colder than Jack.

January 7th.

It's same shit like uh the uh in every movie

Ain't nothing that simple anymore, Duke.

Where in the hell have you been keeping yourself?

Oh, here and there, get my share. Yeah, your share.

You're shared, everyone.

and everyone else's. Well, I keep the rust off.

Alright, I'm just gonna turn them down as we go.

You know how long it's been since I laid eyes on you?

It's been a long time.

Oh that's for sure.

Fine.

Five minutes.

I need pickup. I'm using some board names. I know.

I know, right?

Just wait till we get to Convoy. I have like a half a page of notes and everything else is good.

Cutting out.

I call the left.

Yeah.

I'm Reggie, don't you?

But I wish you wouldn't. Cut me any slack at all.

Alright. This is the last bit. I'm coming out.

Besides, I'll make a couple more ones here so you'll sell it.

Oh, you can hear where you moved your cable there.

You still using that same recorder with like the eighth inch to eighth inch jack for like headphones?

Yeah, yeah.

Great.

I gotta get you a better cable.

No, no, I uh I yeah, it's the same kind of cord, but not the same old one I've always had.

You're lucky you didn't have to do this one on Tubie but when they interrupt your clips so hard.

Oh yeah. I mean Amazon almost did too.

All right, we're out. Luckily Amazon was a little bit cooler, but

Yeah.

Oh you uh I I'm bougie. I pay more to Jeff Bezos. I give him more of my soul so I don't have to watch any more extra commercials than I need to.

Me too. Uh it's commercials, yeah. I mean it does help a little bit, right?

That's clip number three? Yep.

감사합니다.

I forgot. I need to start telling you clips when I say it.

That's what you haven't remembered as is clip number third.

Yeah.

Dan call

I need to start saying that so that when I edit it's easier for me and then I can just cut me out saying what clip number it is.

You're out of action today.

I used to do that and then you started repeating me, I'm like, no dude, that's for me. I cut that out.

But then I left that I left that exchange in on one of the episodes as like an outtake and then I'm like people like know that I just basically say what the clip numbers are so I don't have to work as hard.

Oh yeah, this is that guy that got killed because he couldn't get there in time and they used his name. That's what

Well he's not dead, but he's hurt real bad.

Tales of it.

But it's it's fucked him up.

From the King So B

'Cause they used his name to lure the guy out there.

Stuck around for that one.

Spoiler.

Spoiler alert.

It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it was gonna be. The action scenes are really good.

That's what I'm talking about. I'm like, holy fuck, is this actually good?

Yeah.

Yeah, uh like uh they fucking they're doing shit around here?

No well.

Where change?

Yeah. Out for three.

Alright, we're now up for three. Okay.

So uh Duke and uh uh oo no one all down three two one

How close are we to the first break in your note?

Okay.

Okay, keep going.

Uh.'Cause I kinda blow past the first thirty minutes a little bit and d I I I'll explain why.

But

But it the first thirty minutes gets expanded almost like the first forty five.

You do that.

Hãy subscribe cho kênh La La School Để không bỏ lỡ những video hấp dẫn I love that the main villain in this is like

Got this socialist diatribe that he goes on at the very very start. And then immediately participates so hard into capitalism that he's a crony bootlicker motherfucker later on in the world.

I know.

It's it's wild, man. It's just a wild thing.

Yeah.

Who forced that into this script, right?

Uh I don't I I

Yeah, go.

Alright, we're out.

Three, two, one.

Yeah, they totally couldn't just get away with killing Jerry Reed. They would lose so much goodwill.

Well go ahead, breaker you got Carol Base.

You just ain't kidding, Carol. I got you all the way around.

But they had to put him in somewhat of a refrigerator for changing.

For Henry Fonder to go kick some ass.

Yeah, exactly.

Exactly. That just doesn't sound right. Henry Vonnegos kicks in the case.

Well you gotta you gotta get maybe people even rooting for Henry Fonda more, and that's by shooting the most likable person.

I'm gonna get help for-

Help for rain.

I'm getting revenge.

Yeah, who we are convinced one hundred percent Henry Fonda's character is friends with.

Such days.

Thanks.

Yeah.

Everybody else talks about how cool Henry Fond is, not us. We're just bag on.

No, we're just bagging out that motherfucker.

Oh, oh.

Oh bunch of ass hats.

Well you told me.

Let's talk about a trade.

We are jerking

So maybe.

Oh yeah. Yeah, I've met us and we're a bunch of fucks.

Alright, clip number eleven's down.

One thing that I've noticed about these trucker exploitation flicks.

Is the sooner you get a bunch of truckers together in trucks getting ready to wreck buildings, the better.

Yeah.

Yeah, listen when it's time, it's time to get your guys in there to start fucking shit up in a in a serious basis.

Yeah.

Give us a solid twenty minutes to a half hour of trucks destroying property.

And I'm happy.

Yeah.

That's great shit.

Duke had to pay for it.

Wait, who are you?

And truckers fighting other truckers were evil.

I also I'm also into that.

Yeah, the independent unionized truckers that fight together to destroy the corporate freighter truckers.

You know, this is such an allegory this is such a thing that could go into today's world that the independents are all being thrown out by big corporates.

It's too late. The independents are all done thanks to big moral.

There's nothing independent. No more in this world. It's all owned everything's owned by like five corporations.

Which are really just three masquerading.

Aspirating is fine.

That's fine.

Won't let fear lead the bed Through the night we ride Together we endure, we won't run our house.

With whiskey in the trailer And hope in our hearts we'll drive through the danger.

This is where it starts.

Pick up that grid and determination, don't let the pressure crack.

Rain's got my back and we won't be turning back.

Harvey's cruel intentions won't silence my voice.

We'll take this load for freedom, stand tall in our choice.

The night we ride Together we endure, we won't run our house.

Your head

With whiskey in the tray.

Also the goal and what we do here is ask you to kick the fuck out of this week and make it your bitch.

Alright, let me stop recording.

Yeah.

Recording stop

stopped.
