Hello literature lovers!

Welcome back to Short Story Specialists: a WORDTheatre podcast. I’m your host, Cedering Fox, WORDTheatre’s Founder & Artistic Director.

If you’re a new listener, each week we share a short story from WORDTheatre’s vast archive of live shows, recorded in Los Angeles, New York, London, and beyond.

If you haven’t already, please be sure to follow our instagram @shortstoryspecialists for bonus content, like author and actor interviews and behind the scenes glimpses of our live events.

Today we have another great story for you from our most recent June event, California Women: Golden State Writing in Performance, which was held in Santa Monica at the William Turner Gallery. The incomparable Mimi Rogers read “Caught”, by returning WORDTheatre author and dear friend, Michelle Latiolais.

Please note that WORDTheatre holds the copyright to these recordings and no portion of anything you hear on Short Story Specialists may be reproduced without permission.

Mimi Rogers is a Hollywood legend. She first read for us back in 2003 and over these years we’ve seen her go from one success to another, films like Someone to Watch Over Me, Desperate Hours, The Rapture, and television shows like The X-Files, I’ve seen every episode of her bosh.

Now, please enjoy Mimi Rogers, reading Michelle Latiolais’ story, Caught.
