Tales of the Broken Realms

Tales of the Broken Realms: The Bridge of Despair

Adam and Zac introduce “Tales of the Broken Realm,” a shared-world series of connected one-shots run by rotating DMs, joined by Grace, Kaleb, Sky, and Sam. The party recaps meeting in a temple with a robed scholar who sent them after the Cipher of the First Flame to help find missing gods; they obtained a Del Orb talisman and directions that led to a cavern temple with nine statues of major gods. Solving a poem-based sequence, they ignite colored flames on the statues to reveal and claim a crystal shard, triggering a collapse and an ambush by Malakar’s deviant blade collar and spine watchers; the blade collar escapes, the party captures a clockwork scout owl with a void eye, and they find a tracking compass keyed to the shard. After resting and leveling to 6, they travel toward Autamopol, cross a dangerous bridge where Henry falls into the chasm, and follow the shard into a ruined forest citadel, opening a celestial door by speaking “Ceridil.”

What is Tales of the Broken Realms?

Welcome to Tales of the Broken Realm, A multistory episodic Dungeons and Dragons Campaign. Where the Dungeon Master is changing once their story has been told, all within the same world. Sit back and enjoy this adventure.

Adam: Well

met Travelers.

Pull up a chair and welcome
to a very special episode

of the Tavern Talks podcast.

I'm

Adam,

your usual barkeeper of banter.

Zac: And I'm Zach, the
mapmaker of mischief.

But today, dear listeners, we're
stepping outside the tavern and

into a brand new realm of adventure.

That's right.

We're thrilled to introduce you to
our newest storytelling venture.

Tales of the Broken Realm.

Adam: This is a living, breathing,
shared world shaped not by one

dungeon master, but by many here.

Each tale is a one shot adventure, and
when one story ends, the DMS torch passes

onto the next brave soul who weaves
the next chapter of the broken realm,

Zac: same world, different perspectives,
new characters, and an evolving world

that grows with each adventure told.

It's an experiment in creative
collaboration, and we couldn't be

more excited to share it with you,

Adam: but we're not alone in this.

We're joined by incredible dms
across the dimension who will be

stepping into the world alongside us.

So before we dive in, let's give them
a chance to introduce themselves.

Hello.

I am Grace Heman, and you can find
me on TikTok and Instagram at Grace.

The Magic Chicken.

Hi everybody.

I'm Kaleb McGuire and you can
find me on all social media

platforms at Multiverse of Nerd.

I am Sky Bunny and you can find
me everywhere at Sky Bunny, TTV.

Hey everyone.

My name's Sam.

I run the Wisdom Save podcast
over on YouTube and TikTok.

Adam: Awesome.

Great.

Okay, so we will start our adventure.

So as I like to start every other
session, everybody please roll me a D 20.

Kaleb: Oh yeah, here we go.

And nine, is that it, boss?

Zac: 1113.

A 13.

Adam: Okay.

Sam and Zach, roll off please.

Alright.

Kaleb: Who's got the hired deck?

Adam: Oops.

Kaleb: Got

Adam: not me.

11.

Zac: Oh, no.

No shit.

What?

No shit.

Kaleb: Hold on.

On,

Zac: alright,

Kaleb: get outta here.

Alright,

Zac: here we go.

That's

Kaleb: phenomenal.

Sky: That's

Adam: wild.

Zac: I have mine on D 20.

Oh wow.

That's funny.

Second

Adam: chance.

Zac: Alright, here we go.

Kaleb: Let's go again.

Do it again.

Zac: I won,

Adam: I got an 11.

Zac: Okay.

I failed that one.

So I guess guess we're, you

Adam: have to go, Zach.

Zac: Okay.

Adam: Our most trusted note taker here.

Zac: Yeah.

Great.

I didn't take any notes last time.

I was having too much fun.

Okay, so we started out, we all met
in a pretty much a holy area, a temple

church, whatever you wanna call it.

And there was a mysterious robed man named
professor, doctor, something or another,

and he had magical ruins that was.

Or that were floating all over him.

And he told us of something, an artifact
called the cipher of the first flame.

And this basically could locate the gods
that have gone missing in the realm.

We each kind of had our own
reasons as to why we're doing it.

We had, a war forged.

We have a cleric, we have a cobalt.

I am a thi fling warlock.

So we have this kind of uncanny
cast just link up and decide,

okay, we might as well find this.

We've all got our reasons for doing so.

We found a magical spire, but before we
did that, we unsuccessfully try to pass

off as prisoners and or deviance, what we
like to call the basically the henchman of

malakar, the evil sorcerer in the world.

And we successfully failed or we
failed successfully, basically.

Did.

We fell forward.

Yeah we did just well enough to pass
off, but that became a fun little gag.

Skye's character and myself always fall on
each other and take quite a bit of damage.

That's the ongoing gag.

We found the spire.

The spire ended up having
Alan of traps in it.

But we also found a guardian in the
spire who presented us with some kind

of magic white on, I forgot what it was.

Hold up.

I've got notes here.

I know I do.

Let's see.

Adam: Y'all can feel free
if you need to help him.

This happens in our regular campaign too.

Zac: Yeah.

This was the

Kaleb: Guardian in the spire.

Zac: Yeah.

We had we were given a relic by the
clergyman in the very beginning, and it

was this glowing orb That was Del Orb.

Kaleb: Yes.

Zac: And then this guardian basically
said, Hey, present yourself to be an ally.

And we presented the orb to him, and for
some reason he saw that as kinship because

Del's this empress, who was empress
slash goddess, who was an, she's like

Adam: a demi god at this point.

Zac: Yeah.

Basically a demi god.

And I don't know.

All I know is Torre was the spires name,
and we got a scroll of celestial divine

recollection from set Spire, but I don't
have this guardian's what he gave us.

I think he told us where to go.

And then it ended up with Sky saying
we needed to go up a mountain.

And that's that's right.

Kaleb: Yeah.

Zac: That's how it ended.

Kaleb: Yes.

There was something.

It was like, what?

Your soul, like your heart, desired.

Zac: She heard a rest your voice.

Yeah.

Sky: Then we got to the cave and
we were like, let's just jump in.

And then we saw the

Zac: stairs.

The stairs.

Stairs.

Yeah.

We were completely
oblivious to the stairs.

Okay.

Yeah, that's all I got.

Adam: Okay.

So just to fill in the holes there
y'all were able to get a piece of paper

essentially that was a map directing
y'all to outside of Oppel basically.

But before that sky's character became
got a whisper of divine intervention

and basically she got told to go up
the mountain instead of go south.

And y'all have found a temple essentially
with nine statues of the gods and

goddesses of the realm out there.

So y'all y'all went down the
staircase and that's where we ended.

And that y'all are figuring out that
and y'all have the cip, you have the

orb which is basically a talisman,
a sun talisman essentially for that.

Dale was the empress of the world,
however, since she fell, she's basically

there's been worshipers of her.

So she's basically been turned by
worshipers into a goddess of some

kind of the first flame, basically.

Didn't change much of what
the overarching story is.

Just wanted to make her more
prominent rather than just be an

empress, make her a martyr of some
sort to lead her into saint Hood.

But essentially just dimmi
god hood at this point.

I didn't explain that very well 'cause
I didn't have all my notes together,

but that's how that works for y'all.

She's

Kaleb: basically just a demigod.

Adam: Yes.

Yeah.

'cause no one has seen her or
heard from her since the fall.

So anyways y'all are in the cavern of
the northern edge of Glenmont range.

You're, you found the
hidden path using the map.

You are essentially in a 120
foot wide circular chamber

with a dais of 40 foot wide.

That's sunken in with about nine
statues of goddesses with their hands

held out in front of them together.

Okay.

Zac: Alright.

So we got nine statues.

Representing the nine gods the
nine major gods I would assume.

Adam: You

could

Kaleb: roll a religion if you'd

Adam: like.

Yeah.

Kaleb: Okay.

I was gonna say religion.

I guess my question, are we like one?

Are we, I guess we're just rolling
to see if we know who they are.

Adam: Yeah.

That would be fine.

Kaleb: Ooh.

Yeah, that's a tasty looking seven.

Oh, me too.

I rolled a seven

Sky: 18.

Adam: Okay.

Y'all will you recognize each one to
be specifically in carved in front

of them, in, in the name plates of
the nine major gods of the realm.

So you have Bama Saloon, Palor,
DAGOR, groom Tear, Hermes and Dagon.

In included in those statues.

Kaleb: Yeah.

Are we, is there any kind of I guess
have, has anybody touched the statues?

Do they look damaged in any way?

I can roll a perception or
investigation if you want.

Just, is there, I don't
think anyone's went

Adam: up and touched the statue,
but if you would like, you can.

Kaleb: Yeah.

Okay.

That's a 10 for investigation.

Adam: Okay.

So which one are you going to touch?

I

Kaleb: would

Adam: be my next one.

Kaleb: I was gonna go.

It would, it was.

I guess I, my main I, because do we
know, as I guess in the world war,

like we know the history of which of
the gods were, are technically dead

because they were killed, correct?

Adam: Yeah.

You do.

You also have a fragment of a poem.

I think one of y'all have picked up

Zac: Oh

Adam: yeah.

As well.

Zac: This thing I

Kaleb: forgot.

Adam: Yeah.

Kaleb: Yes.

Who was it that was that?

Sky?

Did you have that?

Who grabbed that?

Sky: I didn't grab it, I don't think.

Kaleb: Yep.

Sky: Maybe I did.

I might have.

Kaleb: I feel like we

Sky: defaulted

Kaleb: to anything.

Celestial just got shoved towards

Sky: you.

She's mine my problem now.

Zac: She's the celestial cleric.

Yeah.

It has to work that way.

Adam: Yeah.

Sky: Cool.

Apparently I have it.

I don't know what it is, but I have it.

Adam: It's okay.

Would you like would you
like me to reread the note

Sky: please?

Adam: Okay.

The poem essentially
that you have gr grabbed.

It says, first comes light
where all things dawn.

Then law to shape the path for gone.

The moonlight soothes what?

Light and flames before the
sea can cool the flames.

Then time may turn and strength may rise,
but pain must pass to grant the prize.

The two who end must burn as one,
yet only life shall see what's done.

Kaleb: So

Zac: here's what says

Kaleb: everybody,

Adam: and I'll put that in.

Please.

Because,

Sam: Nope, I'm not fast enough.

Not

Zac: that fast.

Adam: That is in,

Sam: I got to dawn, I
was like, oh, I'm out.

I'm out.

This was fun.

Zac: Story lore.

I guess

Adam: I was gonna do party loot.

'cause technically it's,

Zac: oh yeah.

It's a scroll.

Okay.

It's

Adam: a scroll.

Sam: That means it does something.

Adam: There you go.

Zac: First comes light.

We're all things, Dawn.

That's pelo then law to
shape the path for gone.

That's Bama.

Moonlight is saloon.

Sky: Yep.

Zac: Before the CC would be Dagon or
Dagon, however y'all wanna pronounce it,

then time may turn and strength may rise.

Time is Hermes.

Strength is, I would
either say tear or groom.

Sam: Grooms.

I think I, yeah.

Tear is law.

Balance.

Zac: Then what's Bama?

That's my only question.

Kaleb: That was, lemme pull this.

Zac: Let's see.

Kaleb: Hamed was justice and life.

Zac: Okay, then yet only
life shall see what's done.

Bamo will be the end.

Kaleb: Yeah.

Zac: Two who in must burn as one.

But Payne must pass to Grant the price.

Payne is

Kaleb: loaf.

Zac: Loaf, yeah.

Kaleb: Yeah.

Loaf.

Zac: C can cool the flames.

Kaleb: And who did you say
that you thought law was Zach?

Zac: At first I said ba him up.

But it's gonna be tier,

Kaleb: yeah.

It's tier.

Zac: Yeah.

Adam: Can everybody make
me a con save, please.

Kaleb: Oh, I hate that.

Zac: I do not like,

Adam: If I

say

Adam: no.

Kaleb: Yeah.

Can I just pass?

Can I pass on that?

Sky: Double

Adam: give to

the

Sky: next person.

Adam: 22.

Oh yeah.

Kaleb: I was gonna say, Ooh.

Hey friends.

Not one.

It's 24

Sky: buddy.

Kaleb: I got a 10.

Adam: A 10?

Kaleb: Hey, can I steal some of her?

24.

Adam: Okay.

Sky: Hey,

Adam: whatever.

Okay, got it.

And I get to roll, relax.

Actual dice for one.

Oh y'all.

Bone.

Okay.

Henry takes, you rolled a 10, right?

Okay.

You take 10 cold damage.

Lovely.

Skye and Sam Sha and

the name's there.

Skye.

What's your character's name?

Sky: Celine.

Adam: Celine.

I was at Saloon.

I was like, there's no so like that.

They're very

Sky: close for a reason.

Adam: Yeah.

So Celine and Sham passing their con save.

You will only take five.

And then it's a cold,
it's just cold damage.

That's all it is.

Okay.

And then na Mr.

Nat, one boy over there.

Kaleb: Oof.

Adam: You take 20.

Sam: Oh my gosh.

Damn.

Are you

Kaleb: okay?

Hey friends.

Not cool.

You guys see this cold damage hit
Zeeb and there are just full parts of

his body that you see just shut down.

Yeah he's literally like servo,
like the servos that you can hear

are like fully granite to a halt.

He is a stiff wind
would kill me right now.

Sky: I'll touch you.

Kaleb: Oh.

Sky: Not in a dirty way.

Kaleb: Whoa.

Sky: Many wounds.

Hold on everybody.

Kaleb: He is a robot.

So

Sky: 12 healing.

Kaleb: Oh, thank you.

Adam: So you have robot that's
gonna learn how to feel.

Yeah.

Kaleb: It's okay.

But he did, he learned he got
a crash course right there

Adam: real fast.

Alright

Kaleb: Guys,

Zac: I don't know

Adam: about, I do have a, I
do have a timer of this going.

So just FYI.

Okay.

Zac: 10.

Adam: We need

Zac: to

Adam: minutes

Zac: lighting the brazers.

Yeah.

Kaleb: Yes.

So let's pull that up.

Party loot.

So we figured the

Zac: first one was like payor.

Yeah.

Adam: John, the law

Zac: tier.

I'll touch payor.

Yeah.

Adam: Alright.

As soon as you touch Palo's pedestal
a golden light shines up in the

palms of his hand and stays there.

Zac: Okay, cool.

So this is definitely, I'll go over,

I wanna touch the light.

Zac: Sha sham.

You gotta go touch the tear, please.

Sky: Oh, okay.

Runs over that.

Adam: Alright.

Alright.

Touch, you touch tear in a steel gray
color and knits from tears' hands.

Sky: Ooh.

I'll touch saloon.

Adam: Saloon.

You feel a nice spark when you
touch saloon, almost like a

divine connection happens for you.

And a pale blue flame erupts and all
three of them are still erupting.

So you're fine there.

Kaleb: I'm gonna walk over to

Adam: Dagon, a turquoise blue,
almost as the brightest blue you've

seen of erupts in front of you.

Kaleb: Okay.

Sam: And when we let go of
the statues there, like when

Kaleb: I was

Sam: gonna say I have
to keep still, right?

Adam: No Uhuh.

No.

As soon as you touch them,
they stay admitting the flame

Kaleb: say this is the most
sadistic version of Twister ever

Zac: about to be majhan, please.

Correct.

Alright, Hermes, I'll go
touch the statue of Hermes.

Sky: Said loaf.

Loaf

Adam: was pain.

Hermes, you said Hermes

Zac: after DayOne?

Yeah.

Yeah.

Time.

Hermes.

Adam: Yep.

Alright, so you hit Hermes
and then Amber Light admits.

Zac: Okay, five.

Then we said pain was lo
Yeah, but hold up, don't touch

lo because we got strength.

Oh no.

Sam: Strength is Sam's gonna
go over and touch Grish.

Zac: Groom.

Sam: Groom.

Kaleb: Yeah, groom.

Sam: And

Kaleb: then we said the two who

ends burn is one.

Zac: So we got Dagor and Lo loaf
will be pain de mcg, gogan, bottom.

So right now we got 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.

If we do strength, we just, that'll
be the sixth loaf will be the seventh,

eighth and ninth will be DeOrr.

And Bama.

Sam: It's gonna be, it's gonna be DeOrr.

Dema Morgan has two heads, right?

Zac: Yep.

Kaleb: Oh, that's true.

Sam: And then, and life is gonna be Bama.

'cause Bahama's, the creator, The
Bahamas, the creator of the Dragons.

Kaleb: If somebody wants to
touch De Morgan, I can do loaf.

I'll

Sky: do Loaf.

Adam: Loaf.

So who, wait what's first?

Kaleb: I touched

Sky: first.

Adam: So wait, y'all were at Hermes, so

Sky: no,

Sam: Grooms.

I touched grooms.

Sky: Yeah,

Adam: you touched sc grooms.

Okay.

Sorry, I wasn't gonna let
y'all discuss how you wanted.

Kaleb: So

Adam: For some reason an order to,
this may matter to some people.

Kaleb: I don't wanna take

Adam: that down guys.

Just

Kaleb: kidding.

Adam: Alright girls.

Isaac is a deep red flame.

Sparks from his hands.

Kaleb: All right, perfect.

Sky: Cool.

I'll touch loaf.

Adam: Loaf is a crimson color, different
from the deep red mind you, but still red.

Kaleb: All I can touch.

Dagor that will

Adam: walk.

You look at the two heads of the dagor,
they look down at you and instead

of the flames erupting, its mouth,
lights on fire and out stretched arms.

Lights the flame in front
of you, one black 1, 3, 3

Kaleb: UCZ.

Just twist a little bit.

Adam: T so black.

So basically out of the two hands, a black
and green flame erupts out of each one.

Cool.

And then you have one left.

Bama is a silver white flame
sparkling, and as soon as you light

that in the center of the pedestal.

A flame erupts out in front of the, in
front of the dice basically, and it glows

a multicolored celestial light cascading
across this ice cavern that you're in.

In the middle of the dice itself, you
say purple like a light purple, pink.

What could only be discovered as like
a crystal shard of some kind in a

case of divine light and Starlight,

Kaleb: Deb was gonna look over at Celine
and say, I would recommend you not

touch it as quickly as the last time.

Sky: She's already almost there
about to just ya get off the oh.

Okay.

Kaleb: Slow motion.

You can remember

Sky: slow motion.

It

Kaleb: did not end well for us.

Sky: Slow motion grabs it.

Adam: Alright.

As you reach out and grab it and
you take it off of its pedestals,

the pedals that it erupted from,
slowly start to close back and fall

down below the dice in front of you.

You hear a cracking and an earthquake
feeling of shuttering happening in

the ice cavern and you feel like you
don't have long to stay where this is.

Zac: We need to get the fuck

Sam: outta here.

Oh, we should

Zac: get outta here.

Yeah.

Let's,

Sam: I called it, we should go.

Is there a door?

A different way

Kaleb: out.

Are we able to leave it
the same way we came?

Adam: You can leave the
same way you came in.

I am not that cruel.

We

Sam: will do that.

Stair

Zac: away.

Stair away.

It is.

My

Kaleb: man.

You just almost book shot.

All

Zac: right guys, come on.

Can't trust

Kaleb: anything you say.

Zac: So we all hurry.

Kaleb: Yeah, we're pieing

Zac: out up the stairwell.

Adam: Alright.

Alright.

So you you are piecing out of
the stairway from what you came.

And as you get to the top of the ice
cavern itself, you start to slowly see

it fall, almost like Atlantis falling
into the water from the Disney movie.

As it crashes back down from the
shards, it falls back down and the

mirage of the cavern encompasses itself
and it almost looks just like a snow

drift happened there that nothing else
exists of the shard or the cavern.

You notice as you get to the top
of the hill looking down back down

the pathway you notice that there
is a group of shadows almost.

You can't make out what it is 'cause it's
too far down the mountain, but they are

you feel like they are waiting on you.

Kaleb: Alright.

You can't really make out any details.

We just see shadows.

Adam: You just see shadows and they're
almost like it's almost blizzard

likeor conditions at this point.

Sam: What time of day is it?

Adam: It is about evening time for y'all.

So the way the sun's casting back
is you're the sun's in their face

casting the black shadows back, but
they're all, it's a, it is a wide

assortment of figures in front of you.

You, I'll notice that one's like a
little bit shorter than the rest of 'em.

Guys there there's people up ahead.

Zac: Yeah, I'll see that.

What should we do?

Alright, Celine, you
got that artifact there?

Sky: Yeah.

You want it?

I don't know if I trust
you to keep it, but

Zac: hey no it actually belongs
in a museum, but we probably

So do you.

Zac: Hey.

Alright.

Look, little lizard man.

I didn't ask you for your input.

Zab let's

Kaleb: go jam.

Adam: One of y'all rolling
me a perception please.

Sky: I have a plus seven.

Kaleb: That would be, oh, perception.

Oh yeah.

No, that's not my strong suit.

Sky: That's a net 20 for 27.

Adam: You notice that not only are the
figures down below the mountain waiting,

you see a flying owl circling above you.

And you get a good look at the
owl and you notice that it's only

it could only be a clockwork owl.

Zac: Little classic titans.

Sky: I don't know what that means,
but that sounds interesting.

Zac: I feel like Sam's character's gonna
be pretty intrigued by the owl if it's a

Sam: Yeah,

Zac: if it's just an auto baton, really?

Sam: Yeah.

Yeah.

I feel like

Zac: the inner artificer
is going crazy for

Sam: you, SHA he just kinda looks up
and clocks it in his little goggles.

Kinda

Adam: yeah.

You notice that the owl has a
void eye instead of regular eyes.

Sam: White eye.

Ooh.

Oh, void.

Okay.

That's different.

Can I do a history on, on, on who,
what Artificer specialty would

use a void eye over a regular eye.

Adam: Okay.

Yeah, sure.

Sam: That is going to be a 23.

Adam: Yeah.

You know that out of out of mall
car's army that the deviant blade

collars use use these clockwork
owls as scouts for things up ahead,

guys.

I think it's a bad owl.

I don't think it's a good owl.

I think there's mall car people around.

Zac: That's probably who's looking
at us at the bottom of this mountain?

Yeah.

Can we go the other way?

Around,

Sky: I wouldn't agree.

You don't wanna kick some ass?

Zac: Yeah, no.

I'm tired of these guys.

They're gonna follow us and
we're gonna be more susceptible.

That's true.

Zac: This is y'alls call.

I'm down for whatever, and I just, I think
that Henry's just gonna keeps snapping

and it's just gonna be like a little
baby ridge blast each time he snaps.

Just

Kaleb: I say the logical step is to
remove the obstacle that is following us.

Zac: Yeah.

Kaleb: Deb's just gonna
start walking forward.

He's already he just the
logical step is this thing.

He's gonna do it.

Zac: Alright.

Awesome.

I feel like Henry's gonna approach
first or walk down to approach

first and he's gonna say, state your
business or prepared to be waned.

Adam: Cool.

You have something Malika seeks.

Zac: Oh God.

All right.

Adam: This little half lane here told us
and she pull, he pulls out behind him,

drags up a little half lane in front.

And this will be Grace's character.

Oh,

Zac: I was about to say.

Great.

Adam: Let's go.

Zac: Alright.

And, who are you?

Exactly.

And I'm gonna like direct
that towards the halfling.

Yep.

Grace: Sorry I was threatened.

Listen, we can talk details later.

How about you just
cooperate and I don't die.

Zac: Yeah, you're not gonna die
anyway 'cause I'm gonna do this

and I'm gonna elridge blast
the guy right in front of me.

Kaleb: Let's go.

I was already preparing something.

Adam: Alright lock out.

Go ahead.

What's the, let me see what you,
let me see what you damage here.

Zac: 21 for the roll on attack.

Adam: Okay.

Nice.

All right.

Zac: Does that hit

Adam: that hits?

Zac: Okay.

Sam: I hope so.

Zac: Barely.

But

Adam: it hits,

Zac: I've got two beams of
Elridge blast, attack and target.

Okay.

My first one does 13.

My second one does six.

So 19 damage.

Adam: Okay,

Sam: cool.

Adam: Alright, let me get that here.

I'd like pen and paper when I do this.

Zac: I'm sorry guys.

If I threw us in the,

Sam: no, let's

Kaleb: do it

Zac: combat.

But I figured, oh no, I was

Kaleb: literally

Sam: pulling

Kaleb: up.

I love was getting

Zac: Yeah,

Kaleb: I

was

Kaleb: too.

Zac: I was like

Kaleb: Ze was,

Zac: Nope.

Kaleb: Zeeb is down to
throw hands right now.

Zac: Oh yeah.

Yeah.

Dude, I've been waiting for some combat.

Kaleb: Yeah, he he has a pretty
passionate hatred for deviance.

So if you weren't going to Zeeb
was about to just Absolutely.

Somebody's gonna catch something.

Zac: I love it.

Adam: Okay.

Alright, everybody else please?

A roll initiative.

Kaleb: Let's go.

I suddenly lost on a whole
lot of excitement for that.

That is a five.

Me too.

Three plus two.

Adam: Alright, let me do this.

Kaleb: I believe, wait who all got what?

I got an 18,

Sky: I got a 17, I

Adam: got five.

21 or 12.

Grace.

Kaleb: I'm pretty sure I go last
'cause he's got a higher Dex

Adam: 21.

Okay.

Than

Kaleb: I

Adam: do.

So

Kaleb: yeah, my Dex is a two

go Casey looking one.

Adam: Anya.

Okay.

So it goes Anya Henry Saloon.

Who has the higher deck?

Kaleb: I do

Adam: Shannon and Zab.

Okay.

Then he rolled.

Okay.

And they,

Zac: grace, what's your character's name?

Adam: Anya.

Zac: Anya.

Okay.

Adam: Yeah.

Zac: I am taking good
notes this time, guys.

Adam: I'm trying saloon.

What'd you roll,

Sky: Celine?

I rolled a 17,

Adam: Celine Saloon.

17.

Okay, cool.

So that's where they go then where those

w Okay.

Alright.

In front of you, you have what you
would know as the deviant blade collar.

And next to him are two spine
watchers, which are essentially

scouts in the realm for him.

Zac: Spine watchers.

Adam: Yep.

Spine, watchers, spine watchers, spine.

And any watch it is you go first.

You are currently grappled

Grace: me.

Adam: Yeah.

You are currently grappled.

Grace: I have my weapon.

Most

Adam: you do, you obviously will have a
weapon somewhere hidden, I'm assuming.

Grace: Of course.

How does one get out of a grave?

Oh, let's see.

Looking.

Zac: Now I have a question.

This is genuine.

Is she grappled by the one I
just hit with Eldridge blast?

Adam: Yeah.

Does that dis

Zac: I feel like that would,
I'm gonna argue here that I feel

like that would break a grapple.

Adam: Okay.

Yeah, that'll be fine then.

Yeah.

So you are standing in front of
the guy, essentially unraveled, but

you'll have to pull out a weapon

Grace: okay, great.

I do that dagger.

Where are we, like spatially?

Adam: So imagine like the two the two
are off to the sides of him and he's

in the middle and you're here with
the rest of the group circling around.

So two, three, and then you were
in the middle of the circle.

Grace: Great.

Adam: Your center stage right now.

Grace: Amazing.

So I'm gonna use my bonus action to
roll insight against this upfront

guy's deception, which is okay
if I succeed, is gonna give me

automatic sneak attack, which is fun.

How will the 16 and he
needs to roll deception?

Adam: I roll to 12.

Grace: Amazing.

Okay.

Kaleb: I'd love to hear that.

Adam: Oh.

Or just you.

Wait Deb, I'm coming for you.

Kaleb: Sure.

What, what have I done to you?

What slight have you
imagined in your head?

Adam: Used?

You used a TikTok audio
that I was going use.

Oh no.

Kaleb: Oh no.

Oh.

Ah,

Grace: okay.

And roll the hit with my dagger.

Excellent.

1, 2, 4.

Adam: That will hit Woo.

Grace: Assuming.

Yeah,

Adam: rogues man.

When they're played correctly.

Oh my gosh.

Grace: 17 points of piercing damage.

Adam: Jesus Christ.

Am I ever gonna get to go

Sam: when you go, oh my mom, she
only has more HP or a final form.

Zac: Just

Adam: don't mind me.

Zac: That

Sam: dude.

Zac: He gotta hit for 19 and now 17.

He's taken 36 points and
he's not bloodied yet.

So

Adam: five EI don't wanna
tell you when he's blood.

That's true.

He's

Grace: bloodied.

When the narrative demands he can bloody

Adam: That's right.

When he kills you enough.

Cut

Zac: nearly this next time.

If you go for

Adam: his facilities,

Zac: it can't move limit.

Adam: Alright.

Then it goes, Henry,
or did you have a boat?

Another action on

Zac: you.

I don't know, but that's it.

Adam: That's it.

Okay.

Henry, you're next.

Zac: Oh, it's me again.

Oh, okay.

Okay.

I got something cool.

I want to go up to him.

The blade collar, I believe
this is what he's called.

And I wanna put my hands around like
each side of his head and then a cast

elridge blast because I get two beams.

I'm gonna basically like head in
between, above blast going right there.

Adam: I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I just
don't I, you know it's rule of

cool and all, but I feel like you
can't do that at the same time.

'cause you have two different
casts of elridge blast.

See what I'm saying?

It's two casts.

Pew, not pew.

Zac: Okay.

Adam: Yeah.

Zac: Okay.

Adam: You can do it once.

So if we're really cool, you
can do the two and connect your,

Zac: okay.

Your single elridge

blast.

Zac: You gotta see if this hits first.

I'm gonna do the first one.

Okay.

I'm gonna first one right in the dude's
groin, like right dead shot groin.

And when he hunches over, if that
hits, I'm gonna roll over him while

he is hunched like Bruce Lee's style.

Just roll over him.

Use his back is a balance to roll over.

I'm

Adam: gonna make you
acrobatics it, but, okay.

Zac: Okay.

I'm gonna roll over and do one
right in his ass, like groin ass.

Bam.

Just double whammy.

Sam: Double whammy.

That

Zac: disrespect.

Yeah.

Straight disrespect on this man.

Adam: Disrespect.

Go for it.

Zac: Ooh, that's only a 10.

Adam: Does not hit.

Zac: Oh, okay.

Adam: Are we continuing,
are we continuing?

Do you running head first into him?

I would love that.

Zac: Hold up.

I might get a bonus action.

Hold up.

Okay.

Hold up.

Kaleb: Go ahead and get,

Zac: I gotta see, I have a war
hammer, but I also have a bonus

action where I can conjure a blade.

So I'm going to conjure a blade
in my hand for my bonus action.

'cause I'm close to 'em.

So I'm just gonna stop and
be like that missed blade.

Adam: Okay.

Zac: That's it.

That's all I'm

Adam: doing.

That's it?

Zac: That's it.

Adam: Okay.

All right.

All right.

It is one of the spine watchers
turns and he is going to run up

I guess that would provoke an
opportunity attack for you, grace.

So just get ready for that.

And he is going to approach probably,

let's see, the most melee person here.

Seline, right?

Yeah.

So they're gonna approach
Celine, but that'll provoke

an opportunity attack for you.

Grace.

So go ahead and rule for that.

Grace: 14.

Adam: Okay.

That does not hit.

So that they will continue on.

And the spine watcher pulls
out two daggers and he is going

to hit with a 16 plus 5 21.

Sky: Yes.

21 does hit, yeah.

Adam: Okay.

All right.

Kaleb: 2, 3 11.

You can stop

Adam: rolling.

1414 damage to you.

Sky: Oh, okay.

Yeah.

Looking great.

It's fine.

Adam: All right.

And then and then the blade the
blade collars going to approach a

Lene and flank the side, but that'll
also provoke an opportunity attack.

Zac: Oh no

Grace: guys, I'm scared.

Zac: It's

Adam: alright.

I got you.

Hold up.

Go ahead and roll for
an opportunity attack

Grace: reaction.

Doesn't that use my reaction?

Adam: Yeah.

Oh yeah.

Zac: She's only got one reaction.

Adam: Yeah, my bad.

Zac: You can give her two if you want.

Adam: I'd feel bad if I don't.

I'm talking.

Alright he approaches
Celine on the opposite side.

So now we have a flinging situation
that happens, but that will provoke

an opportunity attack from Sham.

I do know that 'cause he's next to Celine

Sky: Sham.

Do something man.

Sam: I'm going to take my reaction.

Adam: Okay.

Sam: And actually I don't have,
oh, I guess I'm gonna try to hit

him with a dagger with my reaction.

Let's see.

That's not gonna hit, but

Adam: Okay.

Sam: On.

Adam: But

Sam: you tried, but I tried.

I'm really smart.

I'm not good with sorts.

Sam's going to let out a a
war cry as his bonus action.

And you go,

guys, Tline

Sam: and everyone gets advantage
on your attack roles against

the enemies for the next.

Zac: Nice.

Sam: Tell us how your next turn, you
and allies get advantage on attack roll

against the enemies that could hear you.

Zac: Oh, so all of them.

Sam: That's everyone.

That's every, that's everyone.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Zac: All the people.

Good stuff.

Adam: All the

Sam: people.

Okay.

And then with my action, I am going
to cast and visibility on Celine.

Kaleb: Oh, okay.

Sky: That's your turn.

Adam: That's your turn.

Sam: Yeah.

To get you out of it.

My it's a, the war eye is a bonus

Sky: act, but the guy was running to me.

It was his turn.

Sam: Oh, is

Kaleb: it?

Yeah.

It's still his turn.

Sky: Yeah.

It was just a reaction

Sam: I thought.

I thought we know

Kaleb: what you're doing
though, so we appreciate it.

There we go.

I'm down for it.

I don't count.

All right.

Cast

Adam: counter.

Spell as a reaction.

Yeah.

No.

Okay.

He is going to do what's
called a dark star bolt.

If I do say most of myself basically
he's an exploding sphere of void energy.

And I need everybody in a 15 foot radius.

So that would be Zb, Celine,
sham to make a deck save for me.

Sky: I actually think
I'm gonna be okay, guys.

Shield, master evasion.

We gotta pass it first.

Sam: 18.

Adam: 18.

Okay.

Sam: Gimme myself from last time.

Sky: That is a 19 for Celine.

Adam: Okay.

Sha

Sam: 30.

20.

Adam: Okay, cool.

So all passed.

Sky: I'll use my reaction to
Shield master, so I take no damage.

Adam: Two.

That's 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 5.

Damage for everybody.

Besides Celine, who uses her magic,

Sky: I

Adam: will.

And as a bonus action, they are
going to cast bless on themselves.

Sky: How dare they

Kaleb: now see here?

That's just not fair.

Adam: Very rude.

That's cheating.

Yeah,

Kaleb: I'm pretty sure that's cheating.

Adam: Don't hate the play.

I hate the game.

Kaleb: I'm pretty sure you look it up.

You look it up in the rule book.

It says that's cheating.

Adam: Specifically cannot d and
cannot cast bless on himself.

Correct.

All right.

We go to Celine now You got two flanking.

You.

Sky: Okay, I'm gonna be
strategic about this.

Is this a bonus?

Action.

Action insured is a
bonus section, correct?

Adam: Yeah.

Sky: Cool.

Action.

I am going to channel Divinity
Twilight Sanctuary, which

creates the vampires fear.

No, it creates a sphere
around me that's 30 feet.

And anybody, any allies within this
sphere, I can choose to grant healing

or end in effect, which includes myself.

So that's my action.

Adam: Okay.

Sky: I will Bonus actioned action surge.

Adam: Cool.

Sky: And then your

Adam: second action.

Sky: My second action is gonna be.

Do I have any touch spells?

I do.

I will grab this emo blade, whatever, and

Adam: they call me the

Sky: blade collar.

Emo, I'll try collar.

Kaleb: You get right.

Adam: It's

Sky: geez, mom.

Adam: It's like cyberpunk pay.

You get

Kaleb: the lifestyle.

Adam: Oh, it's all cyberpunk.

2077.

The blade collars

Sky: 23 to hit.

Adam: Okay, that hits.

Sky: Let me find my DT tens.

Fuck it.

I'll roll it on here.

I don't care.

That'll be 20 necrotic.

And do I heal from that?

No.

Kaleb: Okay.

Outta curiosity, you mentioned that
there was healing from your by sanctuary.

Is that do you roll something
to that or is that, do you

choose whether it's healing or,

Sky: I can choose healing
or to end one effect.

It's if you end your turn in my sphere.

Kaleb: Got it.

Got it.

Okay, cool.

Sky: So I'm gonna end my turn
in my sphere and heal myself for

Zac: There you go.

Sky: Seven.

Okay.

That's my turn.

Zac: Sham.

Time.

Okay,

Now time to turn it up.

Now

Sky: do

Zac: it.

You got this man.

Come on.

Sam: Yeah, so that bonus action war
cry to bring its advantage on that.

And then I'm actually not, 'cause you
got yourself covered in that front.

Is there a one that looks like
beefier more healthier than the rest?

Adam: The one that has
not been attacked, that is

Sam: next to, that's near grace.

I'm gonna attack that one.

Shams gonna reach into his pouch
and pull out this like piping

hot vial of like green chemicals.

Go ah, and launch it.

And I'm gonna cast Mel Magic arrow.

Adam: Okay

Sam: Adam.

I'm gonna just use DD beyond here.

That's gonna be easier.

It's a 21 to hit

Adam: hits

Sam: and then it's gonna
be 14 damage acid damage.

Adam: Okay.

And

Sam: that is my turn.

Adam: Okay?

And that guy is going to react to
that and he is going to use his

scout clockwork owl to fly in.

And I need you to make a
DC check con save please.

Sam: Con save.

15.

Adam: You are not blinded.

Sam: I'm not blinded.

Good.

That's good.

That's a good thing.

In

Kaleb: fact, not blinded by the light.

Sam: Yep.

Adam: He is going to

he is going to use poison spines
off of him and I need another let's

see, I gotta see if I hit first.

I do not hit.

So that will be his turn and we go to Z.

Kaleb: Alright.

So just so I can get the lay of the land,
we have, Celine has two in front of her.

One of them we have just
absolutely attempted to dog walk.

And then how many more are there?

There's the one in front of,

Adam: There's two spine watchers, so
one of them and then the blade collar,

and then you have the spine watcher
that's behind Anya about 30 feet away.

Kaleb: I'm going to go ahead
and level a chaos bolt at Okay.

That blade collar.

So let me go ahead.

Adam: All

Kaleb: right.

That is a 15,

Adam: That does not hit.

Kaleb: Okay.

Now, I guess question for you,
Adam, if I even if I don't hit

with the spell, do I still need
to roll on the Wild magic table?

Adam: Yes.

Kaleb: Casting it.

Okay.

Cool.

Cool cool.

Adam: Alright.

Just for the fun of it.

Kaleb: Yeah.

Let's see what this is gonna be.

97, I'm surrounded by faint
Ethereum music for the next minute.

We

Sky: got jams now, man.

That's

Kaleb: Halo.

Literally same song.

Z JBL Speaker Bumping Festival.

Yeah,

Adam: you like jazz.

Zac: It's just smooth jazz the whole time.

Adam: Alright, you're

Kaleb: back to the Javi.

I was gonna say, I'm not gonna move, which
I believe Celine, I end in your aura.

Correct.

'cause it's within 30 feet.

Yes.

What am I healed for?

Sky: Let me see what you're healed for.

I am so sorry bud.

You're healed for three.

Kaleb: Hey, I will take it sitting at a
whopping 10 hit points, so anything helps.

Oh, got you man.

Adam: Alright.

We are back to the top with Anya.

Grace: Great.

I'm gonna stab this dude.

Adam: Typical

Grace: I get in, so I'm
flanking with Henry.

Zac: Okay.

Adam: Yeah, for sure.

Grace: Sweet.

Yikes.

So that's a pin with
advantage that does not.

Adam: With advantage.

Dang.

Zac: Yeah.

Advantage

Grace: Forgot it was a four
into one on the dice, Sue.

Adam: Okay.

Okay,

Grace: Ray.

Let's see.

I think that's about all I can do.

So I guess we'll leave it there for now.

Adam: All right.

We go to Henry.

You are flanking an individual, correct?

I one of the, one of the spine
watchers next to Celine that's

flanking with the blade.

Collar has not been hit.

Just FYII

Zac: thought I got hit with shams acid.

Adam: No, that was the one that was a
different one was the furthest away.

Zac: Okay.

Okay.

Okay.

Adam: Yeah.

Zac: The one that not has not
been hit, I am going to, oh,

let me take a gander here.

What we got?

I am going to

cast burning hands on him.

Adam: Okay.

Zac: So I'm gonna cast that
it's a first level pack slot.

You have to make a dexterity.

Yep.

Adam: Nah, that's cut.

Zac: does not save.

Adam: Dang.

That was close.

Zac: All right.

And I hit him for 24.

And that would be respectable.

Be fire damage.

Adam: Respect.

Kaleb: That is,

Adam: are you hitting the
one that's not been hit?

Zac: Correct?

Yeah, I'm basically just focusing on him.

'cause it's a cone.

It's cone damage.

I just want to got

Adam: it.

Zac: Angle it where I just hit him.

Adam: 24 you said?

Zac: 24.

Adam: Okay.

Zac: 24.

Adam: It is the first spine watcher
next to Celine, and he is going to,

he's going to use his twin daggers again.

Zac: I got something on my sleeve.

Adam: Does a 19 hit?

Zac: Are you

Sky: by one?

Yeah,

Adam: by one.

Dang.

That's rough.

That's rough.

Sky: Yeah.

I'm gonna go meet my God in a few seconds.

Zac: Sorry.

We got you.

You're not, I did threw real music.

Playing taps.

You see a, you roll a new character?

Adam: Eight damage.

Sky: Okay, I'll take it.

Adam: All right.

And then it is the blade collar and
he is going to activate a sil on him.

And he basically dimension doors out.

Zac: What a

Adam: And as he walks through the
shadows 'cause that's what it's

called, it's the vigil shadow travel.

Basically, he steps through and as he
steps through, he comes back like Gail

does and bothers Ga with his hand.

He pops his head through and he goes he
goes, you don't even know what you carry.

He's already listening.

And he steps away into the shadows
and vanishes the, leaving the two

spine watchers to fend for themselves.

Sky: He's y'all got it.

Hold your phone

Kaleb: later.

Dogs.

Adam: And Celine, it is your turn.

Sky: Cool.

Cool cool.

No doubt.

I am gonna Bonus action.

Second wind.

Adam: Okay.

Sky: Oh God.

Okay.

That's for four.

Love rolling.

The minimum possible.

Adam: I love knowing how
close y'all are to death.

It makes me

Sky: happy.

I am.

I'm on death door.

I'm there.

Okay, so that's my bonus section action.

I will just turn to this guy next
to me and inflict wounds on him.

Adam: Okay.

Sky: That is a 17 to hit.

Adam: Okay.

Sky: Maybe

Adam: it does barely, but it does.

Sky: 24 necrotic.

Zac: Oh, nice.

Let's go.

That boy is dead.

Adam: Alright.

Do you wanna describe how you kill him?

Sky: Yeah.

She finally gets pissed off with him
just stabbing her and just turns around

and grabs his forearm and just stares
into his eyes as his body withers away.

That's it.

That's cool.

He's done.

Adam: Alright.

We go to Sham.

Sam: My turn.

Adam: One guy left.

Sam: One guy left.

Then we're just going to I'm just gonna
just classic cast fireball at him.

Adam: Okay.

Sam: With a 24 to

Adam: hit

Sam: and that's going to be 19.

Damage, fire damage,

Adam: right?

You kill him?

Yeah.

So he lights on fire.

Sam: Hell yeah.

Adam: Close.

Flying around is his owl.

If y'all want, you could animal
handle and maybe have a little buddy

Zac: Or we could kill
it and get the void eye.

Sky: I like that idea two.

Zac: Alright.

I'm

Adam: definitely, or
you could save the owl.

Zac: It's mechanical.

I don't feel that bad.

I'm going,

Adam: you don't feel that bad and
you have a war forest with you.

Kaleb: Yeah, no, I was gonna say
Deb is looking at you and then

looking at sham and being like you
can noticeably uncomfortable at

your just dismissal of machinery.

Zac: You know what, that was
a little insensitive of me.

Seth I will let you make the call.

My friend,

Kaleb: He, you seem him pause and he
goes, I believe it could be beneficial

to capture it and if we are able
to interrogate it, get information.

Zac: Okay.

I do have a genuine question.

Yes.

Could, does anybody have any
kind of spells or anything

where they could Oh, nevermind.

I have command, so I could
definitely command it to get

down, which would be drop.

And then if anyone's got animal
handling, they could do that.

If they want to try, if they're
good in animal handling.

Sky: I have a plus four,

Zac: I got a minus one.

So

Sam: Could I make the argument that I
could coax it with my tinkers tools?

Make an, I

Kaleb: was gonna say, if not, I would
wanna make the argument that since it's a,

like some sort of magical machine that I
get animal handling, I could use arcana.

Zac: That makes sense to me.

Kaleb: Makes sense to me.

Yeah.

I am, Y boy is a machine.

So

Zac: what do you think?

Adam: Roll for it, please.

Kaleb: I like

Adam: your creativity.

Yeah, I like y'all's creativity.

Kaleb: That is ba a

Adam: 1515 that will succeed.

Kaleb: Nice Skull.

Adam: So the owl flies down and
purchase itself on your shoulder.

Zb.

Kaleb: Alright, cool.

I am, is there any way that I, or I guess
any way that I could see that I could

communicate with it or is it just a,
would you, would I know that it's like

a telepathic or like a mental thing?

Like to command it?

Adam: You would probably
suspect it goes off of commands.

Kaleb: Goes off commands.

Cool.

I immediately read, registering how much
Sham wants to get his hands on this thing.

Just grab it and without even done,
I just put both hands and then just

stick my arms out and hand it to sham.

Adam: Cool.

Shame you are in possession of the owl.

Okay.

Hi, how are you?

Oh, okay.

Who are you?

Zac: Can't hear you, Adam.

Oh, there we go.

You look pretty.

What are you?

Sam: I'm gonna cast comprehend
languages on myself and ask him again.

Who are you

Adam: by?

God, get your hands off of me, sir.

I'm

sorry.

I'm sorry.

I just wanna do who you are.

You have very pretty eyes.

Adam: Obviously I'm an owl.

Okay.

I know, but who are you?

Adam: My,

not intended.

Adam: My name's Mr.

Who?

Who are you?

Oh, Mr.

Who?

My name is Sham.

Adam: Nice to meet you, sir.

How can I be of assistance to you?

Yeah.

We were just wondering what,
why are you out here in a cult?

Adam: I had a master
before you lit him on fire.

He was going to do it to us.

And when you're out here in the cold, it's
just you do it first or they do it to you.

It's just a thing.

Adam: Oh I'm in the in the browsing
section now of a new master.

Oh.

Oh, okay.

You can hang with us.

I have cool things.

Sam: And they put you out.

You have, he starts pulling out
like like a wrench and a drill and

like all of his little tinker tools
and showing him all this stuff.

He's oh, and I can do this.

And I'm, he takes his tinker tools and
he creates like a like he pulls it like a

bolt and makes it light up and admit like,
little fireworks using my tinkers tools.

Adam: Isn't that kind of impressive?

You want, you wanna see what I can do?

Sam: Sure.

Adam: Alright.

Make a con save for me.

Sam: Cool.

Oh

that's a 12.

Adam: You he spits what this
liquid that you assume would

be, like oil of some kind.

Yeah.

And you're blinded for a turn.

Sam: That's cool.

I'm about, I like immediately

Kaleb: Yeah.

Sam: Up.

I hold

Kaleb: like that.

He's just gonna take him back and put him
back up on his shoulder and be like, I.

Don't know what was said, but I
can only assume it was not good.

Sam: And I'm just gonna, I'm just
gonna, I'm gonna take a violet,

I'm just gonna scrape it off into a
violet and put it back in my pocket.

Adam: So y'all have a owl

Kaleb: with

Adam: y'all?

And he looks like that

Kaleb: Cool.

Just realize, still have no
idea what this owl's saying.

'cause I don't have comprehend language.

Oh, he said he's a, he's an owl.

And his name's Mr.

Owl.

Mr.

Who?

We're calling him

Adam: Mr.

Who?

We're calling him Mr.

Owl.

Adam: My name's Mr.

Who?

I know you can still hear me,

Mr.

Adam: But the rest of y'all.

All of you here.

All of you guys here is Woo.

Okay.

Kaleb: Yeah's gonna attempt to just
pet him and be like, greetings Mr.

Al.

Adam: Can you tell him my name is not Mr.

Owl and tell him to stop touching me.

Kaleb: Sorry.

His name is Mr.

Owl.

He likes to be called Mr.

Owl.

Kaleb: Idu noted.

Let's go Al.

You will be my friend.

Adam: All right.

Make a con save again.

Sham,

Kaleb: not 20.

Adam: Oh, that's tries to, he tries
to spit oil back at you again.

Then you dodge it this time expecting it.

Kaleb: Oh, that's phenomenal.

Okay,

Adam: cool.

How long does comprehend
languages last, by the way?

Sam: Let's find out.

One hour.

Adam: One hour.

Okay.

Alright.

Zac: Some time on it.

Adam: All this is the stats for the owl
for you guys, so y'all can control him.

Zac: We got another party member guys.

Kaleb: Love that.

Adam: There you go.

Zac: Oh yeah.

Nice nice.

Hp.

Oh he iss got a eight hp
he gets it once he's done.

Kaleb: Oh no.

I'm really glad that I didn't
just absolutely murder him.

'cause I almost did.

Adam: I will say if you do, if you were
going to, it explodes into a void pulse.

Which is five D six force damage.

Zac: Okay.

Use him as a bomb.

What you're

Kaleb: telling is, I have a

Zac: voice.

We could use him as a bomb.

For real.

For real.

That would be great.

Kaleb: Oh that's gonna be, man.

He's,

Sam: But first, because I can sum a
homonculus, I'm gonna take his memory

chip before we do that so we can keep
having him and he just gets a new body.

Ooh.

Zac: Alright.

I like that

Adam: you survived.

You survived combat.

Kaleb: Please let,

Zac: alright.

All right.

Henry is gonna gather
and he is gonna go Cool.

Before we short rest because I
have to just wanna say, well done.

We've, we fought as a team.

That was the first time we've done this.

We've done pretty good.

Sky: That's good.

Zac: Gotta give it to everybody.

But we need to get to ple, I believe.

And I'm sorry I completely ignored you.

What is your name again?

He kind of points at the the halfling.

Grace: I'm Anya and I'm happy
to go wherever you are going.

That's not here.

Zac: Alright.

Yeah.

How do we feel about this?

We, I gotta say you did attack 'em, so
I trust you, but you also sold us out.

So it's a little 50 50 here.

What do you think Mr.

Owl?

I

Grace: see remember three to one.

It was that all my life.

I already knew you were doing something.

I figured the truth wouldn't hurt
because obviously you handled yourselves.

Kaleb: Sorry, lemme believe Mr.

Owls.

Sky: Selena in the background
just throwing up blood

like you handled yourself.

Kaleb: Damn near damn

Grace: neck there.

I'm fine.

I'm at full h HP and I haven't extended

Kaleb: anything.

Just thumbs up.

Zac: Alright.

Adam: The rest of the
party's shell shocked.

Yeah,

Kaleb: like there, there's sparks coming
out of every like joint in my body.

Zac: So how about this?

How about I think Henry's
gonna gather everybody.

He's gonna say, Hey I think we, we
need to find shelter and probably

need to hunker down for the night.

I know we gotta head to Aut Mapple,
but we're all pretty busted up

except for our new friend Anya here.

We probably should take
watch, just so you know.

No more blade collars or spine
watchers decide to track us down.

Kaleb: This is wise.

Zac: Are y'all, is everybody okay
with hunkering down healing before we

Head off?

Find finding a place to, to rest.

Do we, let me ask the DM here, do we
know of anywhere to rest where we're at?

Adam: You can go back to Glam lock.

Y'all are close.

Y'all are headed back down
to the town of Glom Lock.

Zac: Yeah.

Adam: Do so y'all can stay there?

I don't

Sam: wanna rest outside.

Adam: Is anybody else doing
anything before we do a sleep slide?

Kaleb: Can we look at the two
spine what are they called?

Zac: Luum?

Kaleb: Spine.

Spine Walker.

Watchers.

Watchers.

Zac: Watchers.

Adam: Yeah.

Kaleb: We at least because I don't
know, are their, did their bodies

just disappear or are they just there?

Adam: No, they're just there.

They look like the best way
to explain it is the spike.

Oh.

What is that?

Kaleb: Are you about to
say from the village?

Zac: Yeah,

Adam: I

Zac: was just the

Adam: same

Zac: thing.

No.

I was just thinking the same thing.

I was like, M night Shalon, here we come.

I was like, what

Adam: a

Kaleb: twist.

Zac: What a twist.

Adam: So do y'all know what
the the needler gun from Halo?

Oh

Yeah.

It is that purple spike gun.

So basically along their arms is
these purple tendrils going up.

They're almost reptilian in nature.

But they're almost like a, they have
an ever scent, like glowing purple

about them until they died, obviously.

And now they're just there.

They're almost hu they're almost like a
mutation of humans and lizards together.

Kaleb: And I go ahead and just search them
and just to see if that anything from them

that would give us any kind of clues as to
who sent them, how they were tracking us.

Adam: Yeah.

Grace: And if they have my
weapons, I want 'em back.

Yeah.

I'll

Kaleb: just take theirs investigation.

Please.

Would you

Adam: roll

Kaleb: not 20 on investigation?

Zac: Oh yeah.

That should,

Kaleb: I can roll again if you want
me to roll something different.

Zac: That should warrant a good item.

Adam: No, that's fine.

You roll me another D 22 as well.

Kaleb: Alright.

I promise you not lying here.

Another not 20.

Adam: Okay.

So you're scuffling through his
their cloaks and such, and you are

going to you're gonna find a short
sword and a short bow on one of them.

And then you also see that one
of them is a has a, almost looks

like an ID card of some sort.

And it's from a the
Opal Keeps PTA program.

Kaleb: Oh no,

Zac: okay.

Oh, no,

Adam: that's what, and you suspect that he
was a volunteer for the PTA in Opal Keap.

And then on the and then on the other
one on the other body you end up finding

what looks to be some kind of what you
can assume to be a compass of some sort.

And it's pointing currently at Selene.

Sam: They're trying

Adam: to, and then you obviously also
find basically a small copper coin.

But it's been through one of those
little machines at different places.

And it looks to be like a
small amusement park in tides.

Kaleb: Oh, okay.

Okay.

And that tides well is T-I-D-E-S.

WELL.

Adam: Yep.

And just put that in party
loot if you're gonna keep it.

Kaleb: Yeah, no, I am.

Let me copy it.

Zac: Ah,

Kaleb: I don't feel good about it.

Zac: Yeah.

I think before we like get rested, I am
gonna Henry's gonna walk up to Celine and

he's gonna say, how are you holding up?

Adam: And that short sort and a short bow.

That should be Anya's.

Kaleb: Oh, okay.

Cool.

Cool, cool.

Adam: I think,

Kaleb: Then I will edit,

Adam: add is that's what you
is, if that's what you had.

Yeah, those

Grace: are my

Kaleb: weapons.

Adam: Okay, cool.

Just wanted

Kaleb: to make sure.

So we'll just remove that.

Alright.

Sky: How am I holding up?

Zac: Yeah.

You looked like you you got
your ass kicked back there.

Pretty, pretty bad.

Sky: It was two V one
there for a hot minute.

'cause you were trying to
do some acrobatic shit.

I don't really know.

Adam: Yeah.

Sky: What was happening with all that?

Adam: Can you explain that in
Fortnite terms so we understand?

I went out on my own.

I pushed too hard.

Almost.

Almost got two v one.

Zac: Shields are broke.

Shields are broke.

Kaleb: Oh no.

She needs some slip juice right now.

Zac: I'm, he was just, he
just crank in nineties the

Adam: whole

Kaleb: time.

Zac: Yeah.

Bounce that up.

Kaleb: Oh yeah.

I was fully, yeah.

Can you g over here?

Zac: I'm sorry about that.

Got a little carried away.

I wanted to make amends and I think
Henry is going to hand her his

own war hammer for her to have.

Sky: Oh, really?

Can I even use a war hammer?

That's a good question.

The

Zac: tank of the group.

I hope you can,

Sam: Eric.

Sky: Is that a Marshall?

Yeah.

I can use it.

Zac: Okay.

Grace: It's

Adam: gonna be really

Grace: awkward.

Zac: You're just like, yeah,
I've got a negative of it.

So I'm like, what do I do with this?

Maybe get rid of this.

Adam: How do I use this?

Zac: Yeah.

I'm

Grace: pairing it this whole time.

Zac: Yeah.

That was that was my, how'd you

Adam: give yourself a war?

Him?

Zac: I dunno.

I thought I could use it and I could.

I definitely couldn't.

That's why I saw in the attack weapon,
I was like, I can't use this damn thing.

Anyway, let's just start.

Sky: Somebody else.

Zac: Henry's gonna go yeah, that,
that was my great grandmother's

so I don't really use this.

And it seems like you, you could
probably handle yourself a little

bit better with it than I could.

Adam: Does it have your
grandmother's initials in there?

Is it, what's your grandmother's name?

Yeah.

Zac: Her name was Rhonda.

An Awe Miriam.

So it just has rim on it,

Adam: i'm, I almost made
a joke, but I'm jiggling.

Keep my mouth shut.

Sky: I appreciate this.

Clearly your arms were not meant
to hold something this big.

Okay?

Zac: Yep.

I'm gonna go back over there
and I'm just gonna walk off

Sky: Yeah.

Kaleb: As she says that the
music, like whoever's playing

it, they just play a wrong note.

Just

Zac: record scratches

Kaleb: a little bit.

Yeah.

Adam: Celine wrote me an
investigation check on the hammer.

Kaleb: Oh God.

Sky: Oh,

Kaleb: you just gave up something

Sky: that is a 16.

Adam: Okay.

You ponder at yourself that his
own grandmother could hold up

this war hammer better than him.

You just wonder how how large
she had to be compared to to Mr.

Henry over there to hold this hammer.

Zac: Big one than barbarian.

Sky: Interesting.

Adam: So y'all make it back to the tavern.

And then are y'all doing anything
else before you go to sleep?

No.

Sky: I'm going to bed.

Adam: Okay.

All right.

And y'all level up to level six.

Woo.

Throughout the night.

Sky: Oh my God.

Adam: How quickly can you
create your level six character?

Are you gonna spend 30 minutes,

Sky: two seconds?

Sam: Quick, gimme a hol and shield.

And I want,

Sky: do I wanna go
fighter or do I wanna go?

Zac: Okay.

Sam: Hold on.

Oh, I'm gonna keep this,

Zac: I think I just did it.

Yeah.

Spells.

Do I have any spells, any good spells?

Kaleb: Love to see that.

Adam: Let me know when y'all are ready.

Kaleb: I'm ready.

Adam: Okay.

Kaleb: Yep.

I'll be ready.

It's literally just gonna
pick a couple of spells, but,

Adam: okay.

Kaleb: Continue on please.

Adam: Alright, so y'all are now
waking up and you feel stronger,

wiser, and older than
you did before the night.

Celine you wake up to a voice in
your head basically saying the

flame will not stay hidden forever.

And as you wake up, you notice
that from the from the west that

there is dark clouds rolling in
over glom lock and the beam of.

Sun tries to react to the clouds
themselves, but the darkness is

starting to overtake the long lot.

And you get the feeling that
you need to start traveling very

quickly before things get worse.

As you as you make your way to ple or to
the place where you're going you are gonna

need a couple of traveling session days.

So one of y'all needs to roll me a D 100

Zac: Grace roll since
you are the newcomer.

Yes.

Grace: One

us

Zac: I feel like 57 bus.

Adam: 27

Grace: 57.

Adam: 57.

57.

Let me scroll down.

Scroll down.

Let's see what this list said.

All right.

As you're walking along you just
see you hear you have a group

of men and women walking down
the main road to a smaller town.

And you overhear them talking about
the local village getting a new priest.

They really hope that the this
one is a good priest because the

last one got into necromancy.

Zac: Oh, okay.

Adam: And you could choose to follow
'em or just leave them on their own.

Zac: They're headed the
same way or a different way?

Adam: No, they're just passing along.

Zac: No, we're not following them.

Adam: So that's the strange thing
that happened on day one of traveling.

Y'all set up again.

Got it

Grace: down,

pulled

Adam: it up and Yep.

Grace: My shirt.

Adam: Alright.

Y'all set up camp for the night.

And one of y'all needs to roll me a D 20.

Kaleb: I can roll it.

Zac: Oh God.

Oh God.

A one.

It's a one.

Adam: It's a one.

All right.

So at night you oh boy, you,
who has the highest perception?

Kaleb: I,

Sky: low 17.

Kaleb: Not me.

Not me.

Sky: 13.

Adam: 13.

Okay.

Sky: Mine's the 17th.

I think

Adam: it's leaning.

In, in the night as the embers grow
cold next to you you look out into

the woods underneath the moonlight.

And you, I almost said dance
because dancing under the moonlight.

But anyways, besides the point you look
out and you see a a elk figure closer

to you with large antlers around,

Sky: oh God,

Adam: That, that comes that
obviously you've seen before

Sky: this motherfucker.

Adam: And and it's closer than
it was before from the woods.

It's about halfway closer now.

Is there anything you want to try
to do to scare it off, or are you

just gonna close your eyes and hope?

Sky: I'm just gonna
close my eyes and hope.

Adam: Okay.

As you close your eyes, you notice
the figure, notice you, and it stands

up on its hind legs and disappears
into the darkness of the woods.

And you hear a small shriek happen
from an unknown animal in the woods.

Sky: Not my circus, not my monkeys.

Kaleb: Yeah.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

I think both time we've seen this
thing, it's because I have rolled a one.

Zac: Yeah, I feel like you pretty,
I feel like you did that the first

time too, so don't do it again.

Or it's,

Sky: I'm getting fucking nightmares, man.

Kaleb: Alright.

Over man.

Adam: Y'all, the second day y'all
make it to a large what can only be

described as like a chasm of some
sort with a bridge coming across it.

And you have heard legends of
this bridge being an entrance

to the under dark of some kind.

And it is surrounded by
thick scenes of woods.

It's just a chasm opened up.

It doesn't go for very long.

It's just almost looks like
the gods themselves, like

stabbed a spear into the world.

And created an entrance into the
under dark is what the legends say.

'cause you cannot see the bottom
is almost an abyss of some sort.

And then you have a
wooden bridge to cross.

Grace: So Gary, does the bridge look.

Kaleb: Yeah.

Adam: The bridge looks.

The bridge looks a little rough,
but not nothing that travelers

haven't crossed over before.

Kaleb: Does it look like it's
gonna hold a 300 pound metal man?

Adam: You can roll me an
investigation and I can tell you.

Kaleb: Yeah.

Lemme roll that, that's

investigation.

That's an 11.

Adam: Okay.

You would think that it probably wouldn't.

Kaleb: Oh, okay.

Adam: And you know what?

It will take a day.

You do know this is the
pathway to oppel from GL block.

You do know of a larger bridge
about a day's journey through the

woods that goes around this chasm.

But you can certainly go
across this one to make your it

make it quicker, essentially.

Kaleb: Yeah.

Adam: Travel time quicker.

Zac: Question.

How large is the bridge, like lengthwise?

Adam: It is a 200 foot span.

Zac: Okay.

Lemme

Kaleb: see.

Okay.

I was gonna say that's probably
more than a mending spell would fix.

Zac: Oh yeah.

I can't miss the step here.

Cross it, man.

Kaleb: Yeah, man.

Honestly, like the geez, I really
don't want to have us go around, but I.

Don't trust that bridge.

Oh boy.

Anybody have anything that
could help us get across?

If not, we're gonna have to,

Zac: I've

Sam: got, can I wanna make, can I make a
check to see if, how sturdy the bridge is?

Maybe using my tinkers tools.

Zac: Yeah.

Sam: Okay.

Kinda try to inspect and see
how sturdy this bridge is.

Yeah.

That's a 15 on the die.

What do you, what
modifier, what do you want?

Do you want me to add for,

Adam: Let's use survival.

Sam: Survival.

That's going to be then a 16.

Adam: Okay.

You noticed that you could probably
cross it if you were if you were able to

make sure that your steps are where they
are you could probably be the first one

to go out and identify where to step.

That is a stronger foothold for the group.

Sam: Okay.

Got it.

Okay.

I turn to the part of the
group and say we can do that

if it, if we feel like that's a good idea.

Kaleb: I'll be honest, the bridge does
not look like it could hold my weight.

Sky: How heavy are you Zep?

Kaleb: I am 300 pounds.

Sky: What?

Ha here's the suggestion.

We all go tie a rope to you.

Tie it to me, and you follow.

And if you fall, I just catch you

Zac: or fall with them.

No big deal.

Sky: It's no big deal.

Kaleb: 200 feet of rope
does make a good point.

Do you fancy a trip to
the under dark with Zab?

Sky: I can make myself
stronger than I already am.

Flexes muscles here.

Sam: Oh no I'm so silly.

I'm not.

I didn't look up.

I leveled up.

I can cast levitate on you.

Z

Sky: Oh yeah.

There we go.

There we go.

Sam: We can just do that.

Sky: We'll make you a balloon.

How you with me?

Let's go.

Zac: Z You're gonna be able to fly, buddy.

Just a little feet off the ground.

Adam: It's turned into Wizard of Oz.

He needs a heart now too.

Kaleb: This is absolutely very, you're
gonna gimme a fizzy Wait, hold up.

I need to know, does this
look like fizzy lifting drink?

Sam: Abso, absolutely.

It's a little, it's a
little, it's a little vile.

He pulls out and he pops off the cork
top and it's like bubbling this like

purple and blue, like fizzy, like grape.

It almost looks like a grape soda.

Adam: Nice.

Kaleb: Okay.

Yeah.

Delightful.

Adam: I thought you could, I thought you
were gonna be able to like summon like

a little fa creature to put pixie dust.

On.

Kaleb: Yeah, no.

Zev gonna grab that and down it.

He plus trust you Sha because
you're the mechanical one.

Sam: Awesome.

And then before I forget, my last in
infusion for the day was lives a thievery.

I'm gonna give that to
Grace as the party rogue.

Kaleb: There you go.

Grace: Okay.

What does that do

Sam: You get a plus five to
your slide of hand checks?

Kaleb: Hell yeah.

Sam: And dexterity checks to
pick locks and they're invisible.

So not they can't be detected.

Sky: Ooh.

Sam: Yeah.

Sky: Sneaky.

Adam: Alright, so you guys do that to
get across, I'm gonna have y'all make

skill challenges against the bridge.

Grace, you haven't been
through a skill challenge yet.

So basically we're gonna roll initiative
and you're gonna come up with a way to

get across the bridge using the skills
in your chart creative creatively.

Essentially we, the more creative
you are, the better you'll probably

get, maybe inspiration from it.

You're gonna do like cool
acrobatics, all that kind of stuff.

So using the skills that you have that
you're good at, try to find a way to

come up with a way to get across the
bridge is essentially how that works.

Okay.

All right.

Everybody roll initiative.

Sam: Oh, much better.

Kaleb: That diet is

Sky: going away

Kaleb: forever.

19.

Adam: That

Kaleb: one

Adam: chance got a 19.

Kaleb: God passed into the pit for you.

Zac: Passed into the pit.

17.

Adam: 17.

I also got a 17.

Alright, who has the higher debts?

19.

Sky: I have a plus one.

Zac: I have a plus three.

Sky: Oh,

Adam: okay.

So Henry, then Celine, what'd you get?

Grace?

Sky: 18.

Adam: Okay.

Alright.

And what's your d

Grace: Me is a plus three.

Adam: Okay.

So that will be cute there.

And zb?

Kaleb: I got a big old one.

Yeah.

So that, no, that dice
has been cast in the pit.

It will never see the
light of day ever again.

Which is a shame.

D because it's one of my favorites,
but I, oh, it's done forever.

Adam: Oh, alright.

Sham, you're first.

Sam: Okay.

So I am gonna go and I'm very carefully.

Try to test with my hand.

Apply a little bit of pressure
on the tile in front of me.

Adam: Okay.

And you're gonna use perception,
athletics, acrobatics.

What do you wanna

Sam: use?

I'm gonna make an argument
for my Tinker tools.

Adam: Okay.

Sam: With maybe an investigation
as I'm like trying to fully

understand how it's put together.

Are there any weak points
in the building of it?

Yeah.

Adam: That'll work.

Sam: Yeah.

All right.

That's gonna be a an 11.

Adam: Okay.

With an 11 you are able to test out a
couple of the boards in front of you.

And you know that you have to
skip over, like three of 'em.

Make a longer step to get to
the next solid piece of wood.

Sam: Okay.

Awesome.

And we're in initiative, right?

So I couldn't cast mending
on those as I went.

Adam: No, that's just your action.

Sam: Okay.

Adam: Maybe next time you can
cast mending as your next one.

Yep.

Sam: Perfect.

Adam: I can just relay

Sam: that to the group.

Adam: Yep.

Anya, you can make it up to Sham.

And now you are next to
go in the, on the bridge.

But you're on sh you'll
be next to Sham basically.

'cause everyone's like
in order, in, in a line.

Grace: Okay.

I'm gonna use my fancy magical
ability called being a halfling.

And they're both limbo and stealthy.

And I'm also a rogue, so just
gonna really I don't know, kinda.

Tight rope, walk along, whatever
like themes I can find and

Adam: yeah, that'll work.

Grace: Just places that people wouldn't
normally walk and wouldn't be worn down,

Adam: yeah.

You'll roll in acrobatics

Grace: plus three, cap 20.

Adam: Awesome.

So you successfully are able to
navigate bouncing between the

platforms of the wooden bridge to
make it another six or so steps.

We go to Henry.

Zac: Okay.

I'm just going to,

I'm just gonna run.

I'm just gonna run.

I'm just gonna straight run.

Yeah, I'm gonna run.

Adam: You get a narrow to style

Zac: run ah, no, I'm just hands

Adam: back.

Zac: Henry's gonna be like

Sam: Tom Cruise style, run.

Zac: I'm be like all guys and football.

Next trick.

Ba

Bam.

And right before he finishes you
think he's gonna do something

cool, he just turns and bolts.

Grace: Oh dear.

It's been, only

Zac: hear me out.

I've got an idea and it might work.

Adam: All right.

Roll me a athletics check.

Zac: Okay.

Adam: Can't wait for one of
these wood boards just to

break out from underneath the,

Zac: so I want to hear the,
let me hear what's about to

happen and then I'll tell you.

Adam: I gotta hear, I gotta hear the rule.

You

Zac: just, it's 11 minus three eight.

Oh, my camera died.

No,

Grace: mine's three.

Zac: I know

Kaleb: my

Adam: what?

Grace: No, what

Zac: do you

Grace: hold the war hammer

Zac: man.

It's 11.

11 minus three.

It's an eight.

So tell me what's about to happen and
then I'm gonna tell you what I'm gonna do.

'cause this is how this is gonna work.

I've got dark one's.

Own luck.

Which is a special, when you make it
an ability check or a saving throw.

I can add a 1D 10 to my role.

I can do this after seeing the role, but
before any of the roles effects occur.

So if you don't wanna
tell, so you're gonna

Adam: have to, you're gonna have to roll.

Zac: Yep.

Okay.

So that's why I was asking we're good.

Dang

Adam: roll.

Like a one.

Sam: That'd be hilarious.

Zac: Okay.

A 12.

He takes a trip to the

Grace: underdark.

Adam: A what?

Zac: A 12.

Adam: Okay,

Zac: let's go.

Adam: Alright, so you are able
to force Gump run your way

about halfway across the bridge.

So you're just like full on.

And then you get about halfway
and you look down and you get

scared of the abyss below.

Zac: Oh shit.

Alright.

Adam: Because the bridge at this
point at the halfway point is swinging

violently 'cause you're just straight
running across it, shaking everything.

Zac: Alright.

Not a good idea, but I did it
anyway and I'm still alive.

Adam: And we go to Celine,
who is now gripping the rope

because everything is swinging.

Sky: How is this bridge?

Adam: 200 feet.

We

Sky: say two.

Okay.

Nevermind.

I ain't gonna try to jump
that because that didn't work.

Work.

So how far are

Zac: we all together?

Adam: Zach, you're in the middle,
so you're feet a hundred feet away.

The rest of them are about 125 feet.

Zac: Okay.

Kaleb: Around.

Sky: I am

Adam: gonna run in,

Sky: I am gonna see that my newfound
frenemy just ran across this and is fine.

And I'm just gonna run across it too.

Zac: Yes.

Sky: And probably show us all

Adam: with all that plate mail.

Sky: With all that chain mail baby and war
hammer and long sword and everything else.

This

feels a

Kaleb: bad idea.

Adam: Fingers crossed.

You're doing great Celine.

Kaleb: Correct.

Sky: What's my modifier?

Kaleb: A three.

Before you do that, before you do
that, I'm gonna actually, because I

just have a bad feeling about this
one, I'm gonna use class feature.

I just got I get to bend bad luck and
I get to use a little bit of wild mad.

I'm gonna blow two of my three points.

Three points and Yep.

Wrong.

D you add two to whatever
you just got, Don.

No.

Sky: Oh, you were?

No, un unfortunately I rolled a
three equal three plus your two.

So that's an eight.

Zac: Eight.

Oh no, that's what I rolled
and I was gonna film.

Sam: I love that.

Sky: Oh, that's playing with you all.

Sam: Yeah.

Yeah.

So next, this a dark

Sky: campaign,

Sam: next campaign.

I'm gonna be playing a divination wizard.

That's what's gonna happen.

We need some more.

That's what I'm hearing.

Sky: Yeah.

Sam: Some more control.

Adam: Okay.

Celine, you run across this bridge.

Straight up.

However, your long sword catches one
of the ropes off of one of the pylons.

And you you, you act your long
sword catches and snaps one

of the wooden ropes from it.

And you realize that moment you're
about halfway between Henry and sham

and Anya and and Zeb and you now are
having to make the difficult choice of

whether staying here is the best option.

Or you can tell that the
bridge is starting to bend

over its weight at this point.

And and we'll go to the next
person and see what happens.

You should have gone one at a time.

Adam: Zeeb with the Levit tape.

What are you gonna, do You
notice that Hold up, catches

Kaleb: Hold it up.

Adam: Yeah, she catches
the, catches a rope in.

And do you notice that it's
starting to splinter a little bit?

Kaleb: I'm going to, is this, would this
be enough for me to cast mind and fix that

before it splits and completely breaks?

You

Adam: can, yeah, sure.

Kaleb: Yeah.

I'm gonna absolutely do that.

'cause he is a logical creature and that
the self-preservation just kicks in.

Yeah, he's going.

Throw a min spell at that and you see
a little bit like wild magic shoot

out and pull both of the ends of
the rope and pull it back together.

Adam: Okay.

Good reaction.

Z Don't

Kaleb: mention this to anyone.

Adam: You roll on the magic wild table.

Yes.

Zac: Yeah.

So about that friends,

Kaleb: Sponge, spontaneously bus.

May so much worse.

This may be so much worse.

Oh, okay.

Creatures have disadvantage on
saving throws against that are cast

against me for the next minute.

Zac: Okay,

Kaleb: cool.

So anything that against
me has disadvantage.

Good.

Adam: Good.

Kaleb: He's fine

Adam: for now until Ader
spots you from below.

Kaleb: Yeah.

I'm not fighting ader now.

I'm assuming my means I don't move

Adam: what

Kaleb: I'm assuming my
action means I don't

Adam: move.

Yes, exactly.

All right, we're back top
of the order with Sham.

Sam: Okay.

I'm gonna try how so the bridge
is just starting to crumble

under its own what you said?

Adam: Yeah with the mending spell
it holds it up just enough, but

you know that this is temporary.

Sam: Okay.

And how far is it to the other end?

Adam: You are 125 feet away.

Sam: Okay.

And can I get there in one
go or is it gonna be what?

I know that's gonna take me multiple.

Adam: It's gonna take you well if you
do your normal run or walk or dash.

Yeah.

Sam: Yeah.

Adam: You would make it, I don't
know what your dash is, 30 feet, 35?

Sam: Yeah.

Adam: 30,

Sam: 30 feet.

Adam: So it would take you, if you did
dash, it would take you 60 feet forward.

Sam: Okay.

I'm gonna do what I did before.

I'm gonna just my tools go
ahead and investigate the

bridge looking for weak points.

Okay.

To let everyone know where to
step and we're not to step.

So we can go slowly as you go.

Sam looks over and goes

slowly

Sam: that the rest of his friends that's
gonna be a dirty 20 on that investigation.

Adam: Okay.

You're able to make it past Henry, and
as you go past Henry you give him like

a little stink eye of him running ahead.

Slow and steady,

Adam: and then and then you keep on
going and you're about you're about a

third of the way through at this point.

Sam: Okay.

So we have a lot more to go guys.

Adam: Yeah.

So you're about, let's see.

'cause he is at a hundred feet,
you've got about 75 feet left

Sam: Okay.

Adam: To go.

So you're three, sorry, excuse me.

Thirds you're about two
thirds of the way through.

Apologies.

Great.

I should say that.

Then we go to Anya.

Grace: It's funny you
said slow and steady.

'cause I was already thinking how.

As a rogue, I can do that dash bonus
action and go pretty fast and just try to

get off the bridge as fast as possible.

Kaleb: Alright, Ricky, Bobby, calm down.

That's true.

Grace: Ah, I'm just gonna keep doing
what I was doing and just zoom.

Just try to get as far as possible,
try to, even out the weight,

Adam: yeah.

Alright.

Grace: Yeah, go

Adam: for it.

What's a

Grace: strategy?

Adam: Acrobatics, please.

Grace: Okay.

Another net 20.

Adam: Nice

Grace: guys, this is incredible.

My God.

Nice.

Other campaigns I am well
known for Rolling terribly.

This is,

Adam: no, don't worry.

Ex Z's taking that for you.

Zac: That's, yeah, I got that on

Grace: lock.

Zac: Caleb's going crazy
with those nat ones.

Adam: I can't wait until you just see
the dice get thrown across the room.

Okay.

You make it across you you are,
because you're using your double

dash feature to make it across

Mario Kart double

Grace: dash.

Yeah.

The best Mario Kart ever
made Dash bonus action.

Adam: Yeah.

Grace: Which,

Adam: yeah, you can make it across with

Grace: that only gets with 75.

Adam: Oh yeah.

So you're, you have 50
feet remaining at that.

Because you're at the 1 25 mark.

Grace: Yeah.

Adam: So you're 50 feet away.

You can see the end in sight.

We go to Henry.

Grace: I have more evenly
distributed the weight.

Y'all,

Henry, don't worry about it.

It's fine.

Henry

Zac: is going to very slowly
walk and he is gonna say, Hey,

Zeeb remind you of anybody.

He is just gonna robot
walk the whole time.

60 feet

Kaleb: racist.

I find that humorous.

That is also incredibly offensive.

Zac: I okay.

I God, I'm just trying to
be friends with this guy.

I'm so sorry.

You just

Kaleb: track too hard.

Quit running

Zac: athletics,

Adam: please.

Henry

Zac: Athletics again for a robot walk.

Adam: What else do you want it to be yet?

You're not fancy feet over here.

I can't do acrobatics.

Zac: We're gonna use that.

Dark one's luck again.

I get it.

Five times.

Jesus.

Oh, don't worry.

This is just fucking
great right here, guys.

Oh yeah.

Whatever.

That's not good.

It's a six.

Kaleb: Did you join the Net One Club?

Zac: I rolled a dirty one.

I got a four minus three.

Okay.

Sky: Jesus.

Kaleb: Oh, no.

Sam: It feels like karma.

It

Sky: is.

Zac: It's, I was trying to be funny and

Sam: i, you, my friend, I totally, I
the war can I use performance for this?

Adam: You you're walking robotically
roll me performance from how well

you're doing the robot anyways.

Kaleb: Yeah.

As you follow your deck.

Zac: 15, correct.

Adam: 15.

All right.

It's pretty believable.

Pretty believable.

And

Zac: looking good.

Adam: You you're approaching
sham at this point.

And Sham tries to point out one
of the boards that is loose.

But you you're confidence over bears
yourself as you're walking and you

step onto the broken slap and it
cracks beneath your weight and one

of your legs falls through and now
you are dangling from the wood.

Zac: Okay, this is easy.

Can I, do I get anything
else or is that it?

Adam: Nope, you're just dangling.

I'm gonna have you make a, I'm
gonna have you make a strength

saving throw in the next, every
turn before it gets back to you.

Zac: Strength.

No,

Adam: you're holding yourself.

You're holding yourself up.

Zac: I'll come pick you up, buddy.

It's fine.

No thanks.

No, you're gonna fall.

We're gonna fall.

Don't do that.

That's a bad idea.

Kaleb: No.

Zac: Grace for a little insight.

We always fall on one another.

So me and Sky's character, he falls on

Kaleb: me.

Zac: Okay.

Kaleb: I was like three
times, three times.

Adam: Get a room.

Alright, Celine, it is your
turn and Henry dangling

Zac: help Jesus help me.

Adam: Yeah.

You gives yeah, continue.

Sky: Gives a shake of disapproval.

And even though she just did it
herself, I would like to use perception.

To see the broken boards and skip them.

Adam: Okay.

Kaleb: You said Henry.

Hey, have fun buddy.

Sky: It's a 23.

Adam: Alright?

You're able to perceive the weakened
boards all the way up from what

Sham told you, and you bypass Henry
as you skip over him delightfully.

And you make it about you make it
all the way up to Anya at this point.

Great.

Henry, make me a strength saving throw.

Zac: Here we go.

Here we go.

Here we go guys.

We're going great.

Adam: you.

Zac: I what?

You cut out.

You

Adam: passed the first you passed.

Zac: God, you passed on.

You're dead.

Adam: You're dead.

Zac: You're

Kaleb: no longer with living,

Adam: Zep.

It is your turn.

Kaleb: Cool.

So Zev, seeing all how outta curiosity,
how far behind am I from everybody else?

Adam: You are 75 feet
behind everybody else.

Zac: Oh, yeah.

You ain't getting me, buddy.

Adam: No.

You're se you're 75 feet from Anya
and Celine, and you are you are 50

feet from Sham and then you are about,
I'd say about 40 feet from Henry.

Who's dangling

Kaleb: Henry

Adam: above the abyss.

Kaleb: Okay, cool.

And then, just so I
know, because I've got.

Levitate on me.

Am I getting any sort of
advantage on anything?

Adam: I'll give you an
advantage on not falling.

Kaleb: Okay.

Wow.

Zac: Very,

Kaleb: thank you.

That's benevolent one.

Thank you.

Yeah, I'm just gonna I'm just
gonna take my full 30 feet of

movement 'cause he, and you can

Adam: dash if you need to.

Kaleb: Yeah, I'm gonna dash okay.

As much as I probably know, this
is gonna be a terrible idea.

The 60 feet.

Adam: Okay.

And you bypass Henry?

No, no problems at all.

That's fine.

That's fine.

That's fine.

Zac: Please let it get back to me.

I got something.

We're good.

Okay.

Adam: Alright.

Turn,

Kaleb: look as he passes, you good.

Zac: You should say,

Adam: I need a

Zac: true of anybody.

Adam: I need a strength
saving throw from Henry.

Zac: Oh God, again.

Oh, that's a seven.

Adam: Okay.

Do you, can you add your role to that?

Zac: Yeah, I could, I can do it again.

You

Adam: might wanna,

Kaleb: would it?

Zac: Okay.

Kaleb: How much are you adding to that?

Zac: I get a 1D 10 and in this
case, that's a two, so nine.

Kaleb: So before Adam says
anything, I could turn another

Zac: shoe.

No, it's fine.

I'm holding like this right?

I'm dangling.

Kaleb: Okay.

Zac: So this could be one hand.

Okay, cool.

That's fine.

I'm, I can one hand this.

Adam: Okay.

Alright.

Okay.

Cool, cool.

Alright.

Alright.

Wanna make sure?

Zac: Let it get back to me.

Let it get

Adam: back to me.

I will say how this works is you,
one hand this and the DC increases.

Zac: Okay.

What else is gonna happen?

Am I, like I failed it.

So what happens here?

Adam: Oh, you, so I'm letting
you know like the consequence

is one hand comes off, but

The genuine question.

But the Yes.

Zac: Wince It gets back to my go.

Adam: Yes.

Zac: In the turn.

I actually have an action, right?

Adam: Yes.

You have to pass two more.

You have, yeah.

You have an action.

That's fine.

But you have to pass two more checks.

Zac: That's okay.

We'll be all right.

Adam: And I'm letting you, I'm
letting you know now the DC goes up.

Zac: Yeah, that's

Adam: fine.

So you have to pass a strength save.

But the DC was 10 now it's not 10 anymore.

Zac: It's all right.

Kaleb: That word comes worse.

I can burn two more sorcery
points and give you at least a

d four roll worth of something.

Yeah.

Zac: We'll be fine.

We'll be fine.

Let's go.

Kaleb: Yeah, we've got some resources.

Zac: I've,

Adam: all right.

Zac: We're good.

We're good.

Adam: Sham, you you're,
you are near Henry.

You're the closest one to knew Henry

Zac: Sham

Adam: yourself.

You're about 10.

You're about 10 feet.

You're about 10 feet back from,
or 10 feet in front of Henry.

Zac: I'm gonna, I'm gonna look at Sham.

Sam: I'm gonna yeah, I'm gonna
come kinda look at Henry and go.

Are you okay?

Do you need help?

Zac: No.

You sure?

Zac: How's it hanging with you?

Oh, good.

Zac: Okay, good.

How's

it hanging with you?

Zac: Not too good.

Yeah, not too good at all.

Keep going.

You're good?

Yeah.

Okay.

Zac: See you on the other side.

Been here before.

Sam: Sam's gonna keep doing what he is
doing and doing the investigate to, to

find boards that he shouldn't step on.

Let's be a 23.

Adam: Alright.

You are able to pick out the
boards where you need to go as

you continue on your journey.

Can I, your,

Sam: can I like as I pass, I'm kinda
like mark 'em with a piece of chalk

so people can see which one on,

Adam: yeah.

Yeah.

So you just see the little
Cobol with his little eyeglass,

like kink stepping on each one.

And he bypasses to y'all.

And y'all you make it up
to Anya at this point.

Sam: Cool.

Adam: You're about 25 feet from the end.

Anya.

It is, oh excuse me.

Strength save Mr.

Henry.

Zac: God.

Okay.

Kaleb: Back.

Let know what you get.

If it's bad,

Zac: It's bad.

Just please gimme something.

Kaleb: Okay, what did you get?

Just so I know.

Four.

Zac: A six.

Kaleb: You can tell me before I do this.

Six.

You got a six and that's all you got.

Zac: That's all I got.

Kaleb: Oh, wait, you said from 10, right?

Adam: Yes,

Kaleb: exactly, Adam.

Okay.

Even if I hit a four.

Adam: Wait.

Is that with your, is
that with your 1D 10?

Kaleb: I can't.

No.

Even if I hit the D four, I can't.

Oh, man.

Zac: No.

10 passes.

10 passes.

We gotta do it.

No, it doesn't

Adam: pass.

Zac: Oh.

That's why the difficulty went up.

I'm gonna say, here's what I'm gonna say.

Here's what I'm gonna say is if
this is the last one, I'm gonna

say, here's what I'm gonna do.

I'm gonna go, I'm gonna, I'm gonna pull
up with one arm just enough to where

I, you can see like this much, man, I'm
gonna say, you better fly you fools.

And I'm gonna let go.

Sam: Oh

can I as a reaction, as you if
I'm allowed as you, let's go, can

I take out one of my potion, my
experiential likeer and throw it at him?

'cause it's a fly potion.

Kaleb: Oh.

Sky: Oh.

Sam: I forgot I had it.

Sky: I forgot I had it.

Could have it

Kaleb: this whole time.

That would've, Hey, you go, man,

Sam: I thought I only got one
of those because we leveled up.

I got two, so I rolled it in again.

I'm like, oh, that's what
I made the, in the morning.

So have a i a flat ocean

Zac: that is

Adam: gonna I will let you, I
will let you throw it at him.

All right.

Sam: Make a attack.

Roll.

Adam: You gotta, I'm telling
you like, like you gotta hit

a moving target with a potion.

I've, I'm just, I'm letting
you know the D is high on this.

Okay.

Okay.

Then

Sam: I'm

Adam: gonna, I think
that's, I think that's fair.

Sam: That's very fair.

Sam can

Kaleb: also,

Sam: I

Kaleb: can also add my D 40
to whatever you're doing.

So if it gets perfect, if it gets like
just close enough, I can add that.

Adam: Perfect.

We, yeah.

Let me announce the DC first.

Yeah.

Okay.

Yeah.

Before you roll, I will announce
the DC and this will be a roll.

If you can, if you roll it, I want
you to show it for the camera.

Okay.

And that way we're good.

So the DC is gonna be a 19.

Sam: Okay.

Okay.

I have a plus eight to my spell attack.

Adam: Okay.

Sky: Wow.

Sam: Oh, and I rolled an
eight, so that's gonna do it.

Kaleb: Wait 16.

Sam: Oh.

A plus eight,

Kaleb: and then he has to get a 19.

So then, yeah, to get a
19, I'll burn two, four.

That is a 19.

I'll burn two source three points.

Oh, that's a 19

Adam: it.

No.

That's just eight.

Eight plus eight to 16.

Kaleb: Yeah.

Sam: Yeah.

Adam: I'm gonna go

Kaleb: sit down

Adam: now.

Kaleb: Yeah.

Hey guy.

Me and you both.

Sam: You gotta use that.

I was like, wait, hold on that wrong.

Kaleb: This is not

Adam: my strong four, three

Kaleb: Did not get a four.

It got a very tasty one.

If you would like me to show that
on the Tasty, just delicious one.

Adam: All right.

Yummy.

Henry, and in your final moments of you
going into the abyss, sham look over the

edge of the wooden bridge and you see
him chuck cap potion, and it whizzes by

you trying to reach it and it whizzes by
you and crashes on the rocks behind you.

As you hear the falling down and the
darkness engulfs you and the rest

of them see the darkness in Gulf.

You as well.

Zac: Now I have a question.

Yeah.

This is a genuine question.

At any point in which I'm falling, can
I, because I'm gonna gain some kind

of velocity as I'm falling, can I get
close to the wall, to the edge at all

of the wall where, the other side,

Adam: You can try.

Zac: Okay.

I want to what am I gonna have
to roll to get close to the edge?

Where I'm falling.

I know I'm falling
fast, but I have a idea.

Adam: You're gonna have to
roll a acrobatics for this one.

Zac: Okay.

Adam: And you're gonna need to roll a 16.

Zac: Yeah.

And then I'm gonna use a dark one's
blessing 'cause I have one left.

Oh God.

Please help me.

Adam: There is no God in this room.

Zac: Let's go.

That's a dirty 20.

Okay.

Adam: Okay.

There

Zac: you go.

So I am close to the edge.

So as I'm like literally sliding
along the edge, I wanna cast

a spell on myself if I may.

Okay.

This is gonna be up to the dm.

The spell is none other than

spider climb,

which I'm going with casted on myself.

So spider climb lasts up to one hour
until the spell ends a creature I

touch, which I would basically just
slap myself, has the ability to move

up, down, and across vertical surfaces
and along ceilings while leaving.

Its hands free.

So basically I could
just walk up this side.

Adam: Okay.

I'm consulting Reddit right
now, so gimme a second

Zac: because

Kaleb: outta curiosity, I
forgot who, so who's after Henry

or who would be acting next?

Zac: This be so fun.

Adam: My question is why didn't you
just Misty step yourself, but Okay.

Zac: Because it's only 30 feet.

Yeah.

Kaleb: But you've back onto

Sam: the bridge.

Zac: Yeah.

Yeah.

But I wanna be dramatic about it.

I this

Sam: is cooler.

This is cool.

Zac: This is y'all are gonna think I'm
dead character wise and I'm just gonna

right back up.

Were y'all crying?

Kaleb: Oh no.

Grace: Morning.

He just walks back over.

Okay.

I see how it is.

Kaleb: Yeah.

Anya the three of us, like Celine
Sham and me are used to it.

Anya's just what have
I gotten myself into?

Grace: Sweet Hamad?

Who are these people?

Kaleb: Correct?

We just met a couple days ago,
so I'm still figuring it out.

Kaleb: So

Grace: I

met you yesterday.

Adam: That's alright.

Alright.

So technically, so on each and on, on each
turn, it's gonna be you fall 600 feet.

Within a turn.

And then ba this is
based on zant TH's stuff.

What?

So you're, you so you fall six feet?

Yeah.

It's based on zant a's guide of the, of

Kaleb: Falling.

Adam: So

Kaleb: Z's Guide of Falling Love it

Adam: guide to everything.

Sam: The lesser known book

Kaleb: Addend.

Adam: So it is,

Kaleb: This is the temporary one.

You stick in the back.

Adam: It is 600 feet for the first
drop that you guys experience.

Then

Sam: how deep is this?

Adam: Your reaction is gonna
be another 600 feet of falling

hitting terminal there.

Then your reaction to grabbing
is another hundred feet, hundred

Kaleb: feet.

Oh,

Adam: no.

Kaleb: Okay.

Yeah.

Adam: And then that is when
you can cast spider climb.

'cause you successfully are
able to get to the wall 18.

So you fell 1800 feet and
you're able to hit the wall.

Kaleb: Okay.

Adam: That's the ruling.

No, it goes to the under dark.

Kaleb: It's pretty deep.

Yeah.

That's fair.

Adam: Okay.

Y'all don't know of Henry's fate.

Henry, you just saw him fall into the
abyss in darkness, overtook him and,

we will go to Anya, it is your turn.

You're 25 feet away and you just watched
a guy say, you better fly and so much

make him fly.

Zac: Y'all better fly.

You fools.

Adam: It is your turn.

That's

Grace: very so

Zac: I love the panache Henry.

Sam: Love the panache.

Kaleb: Oh yeah.

Grace: So tragic.

There is absolutely nothing I
could possibly do for him, so

I'm just going to keep going

Sam: Oh, that sucked for him.

Kaleb: That is the,

Sam: oh, no.

Kaleb: Anyway,

Grace: listen,

there is nothing I could have done.

Sam: It's the most
rogue thing to say ever.

Kaleb: That's no

Grace: absolute cru.

Sam: Yep.

Grace: Alright.

Do you know want another acrobatics check?

Adam: Yep, that'll be fine.

Grace: Great.

19.

Okay.

Adam: And you make it across the bridge.

Grace: Alright.

Adam: Successfully, Henry, it would be
your turn, but you're presumed dead.

Kaleb: He's just very
slowly walking up calling.

Sam: Yeah.

Wait, what's your walking speed?

Like 30 feet for six seconds.

How long does it take him to get back up?

Kaleb: Be here for

shows up.

Zac: What?

Sam: We should move on.

We think he's dead.

Zac: Yeah.

Football fills what, like 300 yards?

No.

What is it?

A hundred yards.

It's a hundred yards.

Three yards.

Okay.

Yeah.

300 feet

Kaleb: somewhere

Zac: right there.

Yeah.

Yeah.

300 feet.

So I'm basically walking six
football fields up this damn wall.

It lasts for an hour,
so I can definitely just

Sam: be so funny.

But

Zac: get to the top.

I can walk six football
fields in, in, in an hour.

Easy.

Sam: We get not an hour

Grace: ahead.

Let assume he's using the dash action.

We're talking a light jog.

Zac: Some light jog, guys.

Adam: Celine,

Sky: Sobbing over the loss of her frenemy.

Adam: You wanna fall with him?

Sky: No, we're not on,

we haven't gotten there yet.

She'll have a good cry.

And then perception.

Her way following the rogue

Adam: Roll for performance
on that cry too.

Sky: Okay.

Performance.

Ooh, that's a four.

Adam: Those are whale tears.

Some fake whale tears.

These

Kaleb: are just like, very bad.

Adam: All right.

And you're gonna make your way across.

Sky: That's awesome.

That's a 19 to reception.

Adam: Alright.

You are able to make it across.

Good job,

Zeb.

Kaleb: Zeb is.

Logic personified.

So not much crying from him.

Now I'm just gonna Yeah.

Yeah.

You just see a little bit of oil just

Adam: Yeah.

Just

Kaleb: right out of his eye socket.

Yeah.

No, I'm just gonna take the dash action.

I don't got anything flashy.

Okay.

See him just you just see him like sweat.

He's not walking.

He's

Adam: alright.

And then we go to sham.

You're the last one on the bridge.

Sam: Same thing now.

Investigation checks my trigger tools.

Oh, I wrote the, that one.

My first na one.

Zac: Oh shit.

Oh God.

Hey, try to grab the wall.

Maybe I can't hit, maybe I can grab you.

Grace: Alright.

Sam: I told me I had a fly potion
that I didn't try to give my, yeah.

Zac: Oh that's rough.

Adam: Alright, so you you think you had
a board and you you accidentally mark

a wrong board and you fall through.

But you're able to grab yourself and
I'm gonna need a strength save from you.

Sam: Alright.

Strength.

Save.

We're not using that.

Dies.

Ball, let's pick you.

Strength save.

I have a minus one guys.

It's 14 minus one.

Adam: Alright, you pass.

You're able to, oh.

Hoist yourself back up

and you quickly try to
make your way across.

Yeah.

That's great.

So that will take care of the bridge.

Sam: That

Adam: was fun.

Good job.

Guys

Zac: don't want to take maybe a short
rest, someone can catch back up with you.

No.

Okay, we're good.

Kaleb: I'm not a poster.

Sky: Short rest have a small funeral.

Kaleb: No wait.

Yeah, we should

Adam: probably

Sky: do something.

He's a walk up to his own.

Adam: That's what I'm gonna do for

Sky: sure.

Adam: Alright.

Sam: We definitely hold a little
funeral and remembrance of Henry.

Adam: Y'all like fire a arrest, a flaming
arrow down into the chasm or something.

Kaleb: Yeah, I have ceremony.

Ow.

Make a next funeral

Adam: wreck.

Kaleb: Exactly.

You just fires.

Zac: I get hit with the flaming arrow.

Breaks my concentration.

I fall off the wall.

Yeah,

Kaleb: Don't give out any ideas, please.

Zac: No, he'll do it.

He'll do it just for fun.

Kaleb: So do we want a short rest here,

man, I'm not opposed to that.

We don't.

Adam: Take a short rest if you want.

Kaleb: There's, I was gonna say, I don't
even know do, because I don't get my spell

slot back on a short rest, I don't think.

Adam: Neither do

Kaleb: I don't, yeah, so that really
doesn't, unless anybody take any

image or is there any good that
a short rest is gonna do us Other

than maybe giving Henry time to

Adam: But you think he's dead,

Kaleb: I was gonna say,
we think he's dead.

We, yeah.

I

Adam: guess we keep going.

Kaleb: Yeah.

As set as it is, we must continue on.

Adam: All right, so y'all
continue on past the bridge.

Y'all are walking.

Somebody roll me a D 100, please.

Kaleb: Not it.

Sam: I can do it.

Kaleb: Yeah.

Sam: Let's see.

That is gonna be 8 95.

Adam: Oh, nice.

Scroll, scroll, scroll.

Alright.

You are approaching a what looks to be
a field with a rock wall fence for the

field where they harvest crops and stuff
as y'all make it outside of the forest.

There's this meadow looking field with
a house set a foot and you see an elf

and two women sitting on a rock wall.

Sky: They doing anything in particular
or are they just sitting there?

Kaleb: Yeah,

Adam: they're just sitting there
discussing amongst themselves.

Kaleb: We hear what they're saying.

Adam: You could roll a perception,
the scene or you can get closer.

Kaleb: Yeah.

Oh, dad, absolutely weary of individuals.

Everyone we've run up on has
either tried to kill us or

sent us on a dangerous mission.

So

Sky: 26

Kaleb: perception.

Adam: Oh, okay.

Yeah,

Kaleb: I got a 15 south, I got a

Adam: 3

Sky: 30, 20.

Adam: Okay.

So just outta earshot.

Y'all all hear that the two humans are
discussing a curse upon the elf and

come to find out, out of the discussion
that you hear is the elf used to be

human and she got turned into an elf.

Sam: That's not bad.

That's unfortunate.

Adam: And y'all can continue on
or you can investigate further.

That's just a random thing.

We just continue

Grace: on.

That's a curse.

That's basically immortality.

I was

Kaleb: about, oh no, you get well,
babe, you don't die and you're

attractive the rest of your life.

Oh,

Adam: damn

Grace: ears now,

Adam: shucks.

I got pointy ears.

Oh gosh.

Dang it.

Jeff

Kaleb: is not gonna see any z is not
gonna see any good in investigating

any further than what we hear.

Adam: Okay.

Kaleb: I don't know
about the rest of them.

Adam: Yeah.

Y'all, y'all periodically look
at the shard as it's a compass

guiding you towards oppel.

And at some point y'all are
on the road and the shard

veers off to the right heavy.

So you obviously know that y'all are on
the line to cross into into the forest.

Basically.

It's like y'all have
to go off the road now.

Kaleb: Perfect.

Outta curiosity is the compass that I
have, is that still pointing at Celine?

Adam: Yes.

Kaleb: Okay, cool.

Adam: You can roll you can
roll an investigation on that

if you wanted to get further

Sam: information.

Still holding the orb right.

Adam: No.

Sky: The shard.

Shard.

I have the shard

Adam: ard.

I think Henry had the orb.

Sky: Yeah, Henry had the orb.

Orb.

Sam: Nice.

Sky: God.

Kaleb: We lost time.

My gut,

Adam, you said I could roll What

Adam: an investigation to figure
out how this company's just working.

Kaleb: Can I get the help action.

I was just about to say, can I
list sham to gimme the help action.

Just Yeah, for sure.

I know what's going on with this.

Oh, geez.

That, that's a 10.

I don't know what that gives me.

Adam: You can probably make the
assumption that the compass that

the guy that the spine had was a a
celestial object finder of some sort.

Wherein you're in a vicinity
of a celestial object it will

point to the closest one.

But you had to be close by to discover it.

Kaleb: Got it.

And we I guess

Grace: they didn't need
me to tell them anything.

They figured it out on their own.

Kaleb: That's right.

I want to suggest that we te zbs
gonna suggest that we test passing

the celestial object around, because I
wanna see if the compass is gonna follow

Celine specifically or that shard.

Adam: Yeah, I'm think thing.

Okay.

Y'all pass it around and you notice
that the compass is pointing towards

where whoever holds the shard.

Sam: Cool.

Kaleb: Ah, okay.

Cool, cool.

Just wanna have that for future.

Adam: Yeah.

All right.

Sam: What does it look like when someone's
holding the shard and the compass?

Adam: It's just spinning.

Sam: Spinning around.

Adam: Yeah.

Sam: Cool.

Adam: Alright.

Are y'all gonna go off into
the forest following the shard?

Kaleb: Yeah.

Adam: Okay.

Kaleb: Yeah.

I wanna know what's up with Henry

Sam: eventually.

Kaleb: That's Caleb speaking.

Zac: I'm the post credit singer.

You see me see a hand

Sam: two and a half hours later.

Adam: I'm gonna, I'm gonna
hold off on what hour

Zac: of this

Adam: I'm gonna hold off
on what happens to Henry.

'Cause I want like out of character and
out of the DM e and I would want Henry

to be like a character that may pops
up in one of y'all's stories later.

Kaleb: Oh, okay.

Okay.

Cool, cool.

Adam: I think that'd be fun.

Zac: It could be an mpc.

Doesn't even,

Adam: yeah, it doesn't have to
be Zach playing it at that point.

Kaleb: Old Jumanji, he's gonna have
a three foot long beard wearing, like

animal, like carcasses from the underdog.

Is it?

Adam: You played the game boy.

You playing the game.

Kaleb: Alright.

Yeah, I think we, let's just
head off into the forest.

Adam: Oh, great.

Alright, so y'all head off into the forest
and about, I'd say about a couple hours

into the forest of the walk, you're in
the dense forest that surrounds opal.

Basically you will come to what looks
to be a destroyed what looks to be

a destroyed citadel of some kind.

It's very old.

It's got vines grow, old
growth growing over it.

Enchanted ruins are marked inside of
the entrance to the citadel itself.

You do notice as you approach into the
citadel vines and stuff covering it you

do notice that the inter inner sanctum
is basically sunken in the ground.

As you're entering into the walls of
the Citadel you don't hear anything.

You don't see anything that
hasn't been discovered.

It looks like in.

Tens and, twenties, 20 years or so
before the fall of the gods essentially.

Y'all can y'all, you feel free to
explore the sunken sanctum if you want.

If explore the outside.

It's up to you.

Sam: Did you say there
was runes on the outside?

Yeah.

Adam: Yeah.

So the ROEs themselves, you can read
in Celestial and it shows that this was

a temple of the cipher, essentially.

Sam: No, like magical binding mangan ruin.

Yeah.

Adam: Doesn't

Sam: that explode?

Adam: No, not yet.

Sam: Cool.

Cool.

Adam: Not yet.

So it's surrounded by the
citadel and the entrance to it

has the cipher of the flame.

And basically it's an
old old growth temple.

Essentially and as you walk into the
walls, there's the sunken sanctum with

an entrance if you wanted to go into it.

Okay.

Yeah.

Do we wanna look for traps?

Ms.

Feels trap

Kaleb: that I will concur.

The last temple we went in
did not end so well for Zab.

Adam: So y'all can roll
for an investigation.

Kaleb: Yeah.

Not 20.

Adam: Okay.

You don't notice of any
traps per se on the outside?

Around it, it is a, you do notice
that it is a relatively small area.

The trees overcast the
the citadel of sorts.

In citadels they look big, but this
one is a little bit smaller as this was

like a specific hidden away temple that
didn't want to be discovered essentially.

And the old growth of the forest
have, has claimed over it to make

it more hidden amongst the people.

Sam: Cool.

Adam: Imagine you did walk hours into the
forest following the compass, essentially.

Kaleb: Yes.

Gotcha, gotcha, gotcha.

Yeah I relay that we, I don't notice
anything I and say let, I would

say, let's just go into the temple.

Yep.

Adam: Okay.

So y'all approach the entrance to
what is the sunken sanctum, and that

at the top of the sanctum itself is
a spiraling staircase down into the

temple itself is what you assume.

You take your descent down
into the sanctum you bypass

broken altars and stone stairs.

And basically it's a.

You see some ruins as well
that are moss covered.

You have forgotten forgotten faiths
that were devoted inside these little

sanc sanctions of the walls themselves.

As you're going down into the sunken
sanctum as you get down into the actual

tunnel and hallway of the temple, you
notice that the shard is grow glowing,

a bright pulsing almost as you get
closer to the wall through the hallway.

You can explore different rooms
that you'd like, or if you want to

continue following the the shard.

Kaleb: I know Zeb would like to explore
some of these rooms, especially if it

seems like the shard is reacting to the
as we're going deeper, he'd like to see if

there's anything of interest in the rooms.

Adam: Yeah.

So you emerge down the hallway itself.

You look through your left and right and
they look to be like studies of some sort.

There's nothing in them but you can
see bookshelves and a lectern and

seats almost like a classroom of
teachings basically happening there.

In another room you notice that
there's just crates and storage.

And as you walk down the hallway, them
itself, you start seeing statues of of

Templars essentially on the way down.

And then you get to the final of
the hallway and it opens up into

basically a large celestial domed
rotunda that's encased in pale stone.

And it looks like an
altar is in front of you.

And a what you assume from
your previous adventures.

A celestial door inlaid with gold
tracery, but no handle in front of it.

Kaleb: Is there, when you say that there's
an alter, does it look like there's

something that could be placed on it?

Adam: Not necessarily.

You just see that it's just a stone
cracked altar, and in front of that

altar itself around the staircase going
up from the altar is a door that's

encased in celestial gold, basically.

Kaleb: I was gonna lean over to Celine.

Could you translate the door for us?

Sky: Yeah.

Let me go take a little look here
and I'll walk up to the door.

Adam: You you walk up to the door
and you notice that it doesn't

react to any of your touch or
any senses besides claiming it.

So you need to voice basically a
passphrase to get the door to open.

Sky: It seems like we need
to say something to it.

Adam: Melon,

Sky: I don't know the melon.

Kaleb: Adam, I can't remember the, when
we were in the spire was the guardian that

was there was the poem, what he gave us,

Adam: the po You got a couple
of things from different places.

You you have a scroll that
reads basically one name.

They did not burn, only buried.

And then the words keeper gave you
a map as well as a dialogue that

says you hold the spark of truth,
but the truth burns those unworthy.

And then you also have the
poem from the other puzzle.

Kaleb: Oh, that's okay.

Cool.

Oh, there's a name

I'm drawing a hard blank.

Adam: You can roll for to see
if there's anything around.

Kaleb: What would we, what
do you want us to roll?

Adam: A religion?

Kaleb: Oh, I don't see it.

Sam: Ooh,

Kaleb: that's a 1223.

Adam: Okay.

Sham, you noticed that there is a
mural similar to the one found in the

temp into, in the spire of a Okay.

Of what looks to be a woman
that is igniting a flame.

And there's shadows that are trying
to attack the flame scrawled out

across the engravings, similar
to the one found in the spire.

But this time she is attacking the

shadows with the flame instead
of shielding the counterparts.

Sam: I relay that to the party relay.

Sky: Relay.

Sam: Relay.

Kaleb: Relay.

Sam: Relay.

Kaleb: We're just gonna keep saying relay
until somebody figures something out.

Listen, I play

Sky: low int character for a reason.

Kaleb: Can't say that he's a
machine, not the smartest one.

I'm trying to like, I feel like the name
of the one they was, you said it was

the name of the one they didn't bury.

Adam: Yeah.

The one that only burns.

Kaleb: Yes.

Oh, that.

Is there anything we could roll past the
religion to like, I guess I, to into it?

Adam: You would know based upon
the information of who was on the

Uhhuh mural, you would know it is Il

Kaleb: Okay.

Adam: The Demi Goddess

Kaleb: Yeah.

Adam: Of the flame.

And this being the flame's temple.

Yeah.

So it reacts to a voice that's door
does of what you could assume, what

would be the Templars of this sanctum.

So

Kaleb: part of me really thinks
it might just bedel, but.

Unless you guys got something better,

Sky: Celine will say Cidel.

Kaleb: Nope.

Adam: As soon as you speak the word
cidel, flames erupt from the door around

almost similar to basically an avatar
when they're at the fire nation temple.

With Roku.

And they all have to fire at the solstice.

Basically it ignites inflams around
and you see the symbol of cidel come

through the intricacies of the door
guarded between some gold celestial

magic between the doors themselves.

And as the flames erupt the door
from where your eyes seems to

burn, open a burn open and it
leads into a chamber, essentially.

Oh, okay.

Sam: Nice.

Is this chamber bright?

Is it dark?

Adam: Right now you can only see
into the chamber as you walk in.

It opens up into almost like a magical
moonlight of marble and polished brass.

Cool.

And that is where we're going
to end the second session.
