Dan Lievens Intro

Hello friends, and welcome to The Story Forge podcast where we focus on the idea that Making Things Matters.

I'm Lyle Smith, your host, and I'm a writer, strategist, thinker, runner, father of a runner, husband of a gifted acupuncturist, I'm an author of a new book called Why Yellow Matters (available at Amazon, B&N and whyyellowmatters.com) and I made this podcast, which I think matters very much and I hope matters very much to you.

Today is Transformation Day with Dan Lievens.

Dan is a serial entrepreneur in the sense that he's started 11 different businesses, but he has a common theme running through all of them. And that it transformation. And his latest venture, Share One, is all about the idea that if each and every one of us could share one, singular, transformational story of ourselves, what a different world we would live in?

We also, thanks to Dan, dove pretty deep into the topic of AI and what we think AI is doing, what it might do and change, and how we all are going to have to adjust to a world with AI as tool of creativity, communication, and power. Dan cornered me into thinking through some of my ideas on the topic, for which I'm grateful and I hope you find valuable.

I think it was a pretty awesome conversation that swung from acupuncture to business, to a little bit of philosophy.

I hope you enjoy it.

Here's my conversation with Dan.
