Amy:If you're not familiar with Extension, we're part of the land grant university system focused on public engagement. It's our job to translate technical science and research into practical information that real people like me and you can use every day.
Peter:We hope you'll join us as we explore the science, the stories, and the secrets behind the outdoor spaces you love.
Eli:Whether you're managing your back 40, volunteering as a Minnesota Master Naturalist, or just love being outside, we'll bring you the voices and stories of interesting people living and working in Minnesota's wild and working lands.
Amy:And water. Don't forget the water, Eli. We have a lot of water in Minnesota. So who are we? I'm Amy Rager, an Extension Educator based in Morris, and I spend most of my time working with the Minnesota Master Naturalist Program.
Peter:I'm Peter Deezer, a forest dependent wildlife Extension Educator based out of Moorhead.
Eli:And I'm Eli Sagore, an extension forestry specialist based at the Cloquet Forestry Center. So on the show, you're gonna hear practical tips you can use in your community, plus you'll get a deeper appreciation for the wild spaces right outside your door.
