Matt Harrison:Hey, everybody. We are back live, and we have some very special guests joining us in the Duck Den. To my left is the one and only Tim Wells, also known as the Slockmaster.
Tim Wells:I thought we were gonna go with Slock Daddy. Okay.
Matt Harrison:I'm gonna let Nathan introduce you as that.
Tim Wells:That's Nathan's deal.
Matt Harrison:To my right is Jimbo's joining us again. Then over here, we have miss Sydney Wells, then also mister Nathan with Dive Bomb. This is gonna be an open chat, and we're gonna have a good time. I'm super excited. The last time we have all been together, us three, was at our former president, mister Chuck Smith, chasing some ducks in the Arkansas timber, which was a blast, which is where me Yeah.
Matt Harrison:Mister Tim met. But we have a lot of cool things going, the dive bomb side of things, Jimbo, heading up that relationship. Tim, I know you have a lot going on. Where are you heading Monday? You told me before we hopped on this that you were heading somewhere Monday, and tell our listeners where that is.
Tim Wells:Africa. We're going duck hunting in Africa.
Matt Harrison:Duck hunting in Africa.
Tim Wells:Yeah. But if I don't see any ducks, I'm a just hunt plains game, whatever happens, you know.
Nathan Divebomb:Are you gonna shoot those ducks in Africa with a
Tim Wells:There is a duck over there though, a goose, the emperor goose, you know. They live there's a lot of them in South Africa. Anywhere there's water, there's usually a few of them and that's legal. So if I can get one of them with my bow, he's going in the den.
Matt Harrison:So are you going straight bow?
Tim Wells:Oh, well, no. Probably mostly spear and blow.
Matt Harrison:Okay.
Tim Wells:Yeah. It's gonna be Wow. He's gonna place I'm going in I'm going in the Upper Cape where most of the animals there, there's a lot of little stuff, you know, like the duiker and steinbuck, and then there's a lot of little predators. They've got this one ranch close by that's overrun with spring buck and they're about that big. And so I called them long time ago.
Tim Wells:I said, hey, that's just what I want for my blow gun. I said, would you dig me a hole in the ground right next to where they drink? And he said, okay, how far away? And I said, well, like five yards. He's like, wait, what?
Tim Wells:And I was like, no. And so they did it. Did they really? Yeah. So I'll be underground sniping these babies when they're So
Matt Harrison:how are you are you gonna have like a little mirror up so you can see or you're have your like, how are you gonna see what It's a periscope system.
Tim Wells:Normally, you do. Like, one
Matt Harrison:of most things have
Sydney Wells:a ship.
Matt Harrison:Yeah. A submarine. He's gonna be searching for a periscope. Good
Tim Wells:idea. Oh, this is great. Yeah. Great. But no.
Tim Wells:No. Normally, you just lay there and wait. You know? You're just at the mercy of what comes in because if it comes in left or right, your peripheral vision picks it up, and you just sit there for hours and wait. You know?
Tim Wells:Wow. And then when they come in, then you stick them.
Matt Harrison:That's crazy.
Tim Wells:Yeah.
Matt Harrison:Sydnie, what do you have going on? I know you have a big day coming up not too too far away, is it?
Sydney Wells:In May. May, which is still coming up. That'll be good. Just got married.
Matt Harrison:I did. I did. I know you have one coming up, but what do you have going on in your world right now? I know you've been super busy and traveling all over.
Sydney Wells:We've been traveling a lot. A lot of fishing. I'm excited because it's August now. Kicking off hunting season. Some part of the world, the hunting seasons have started.
Sydney Wells:Africa. But Florida, deer season's here. August out west, people are gonna start hunting pronghorn. I'm heading to Alaska for the first time with my friends from Browning. I'm very
Matt Harrison:excited about that. What are you gonna be chasing?
Sydney Wells:Parmigan, and then we're gonna do some fishing. I know it's gonna be the end of the salmon run, but hopefully, can fly fish and
Matt Harrison:get some fish. That's awesome. Wow. And now Nathan over here with Dive Bomb, who also has a lot to do with Sydney Whales. I know that y'all have a great partnership going as well as DU.
Matt Harrison:Yep. So y'all talk a little bit about that, kinda y'alls how y'all got involved with each other because it's a newer relationship. Right? So It is. How did that kinda come about and kinda tell us
Jimbo Robinson:a bit about that? Unlimited.
Matt Harrison:Ducks Unlimited and Sydnie.
Jimbo Robinson:Kinda No
Matt Harrison:doubt. I mean, I it all
Nathan Divebomb:at the center of it, honestly, is all Ducks Unlimited. Yep. In all reality. I was a DOD, director development for Ducks Unlimited in Missouri. That's how I met Cody Stokes, the founder and owner of the iBomb, and he gave me a great opportunity to come over and work on that side of the house for him, so so it's been really fun.
Nathan Divebomb:And then obviously just working with all my friends at Ducks Unlimited, it kind of admit made total sense. I was I was talking to some guys here today, and I was like, man, without without the work that Ducks Unlimited does, this this industry, this stuff wouldn't exist at all. So it's a it's a no brainer of a partnership, and then obviously get to work with Jimbo. So
Jimbo Robinson:Nathan lied to me the first time we ever met. He was I was talking to him about Gotcha. I knew his connection with Dive Bomb, and we met on the duck hunt, mister Gary Stavraim, and and we're riding out. We're about an hour and a half ride. I'm like, man, I'm really trying to find a a brand or a company to help us with our third term, our big university that you were the keynote speaker at a week and a half ago, ten days ago.
Jimbo Robinson:And he's like, yeah, yeah, yeah. I'll go up there and I'll talk to the guys at Dive Bomb. I'm gonna be up there and and and the brands fit. And then we kind of hit it off that day talking about how those brands were gonna go together. And then, like, three weeks later, a month later, I can't remember, he texted me and goes, hey, man.
Jimbo Robinson:I'm going to work for Dive Bomb. And I was like, dude, you had to have known that
Matt Harrison:when we were together.
Jimbo Robinson:Dude, you just set me up to try to get you to go and sell it. That is the easiest sell I'll ever make here. Yeah. So that's literally we stayed in touch, and and they jumped on our our university program, and it exploded last year. Wow.
Jimbo Robinson:Yeah. That was kind of the kind of the relationship kickoff, honestly. Yeah. And they all came to our third term, 300 university leaders from across the country, had a lot to do with that show. Then we took it to another level this year and designed a LED sign.
Jimbo Robinson:It's dive o'clock somewhere. We knew it was going to be a hit, but we did not, I don't think any of us anticipated how excited the kids were gonna, the university students were gonna get. And it just, it went crazy. And so that partnership's been great, carried over into DUX this weekend, one of our platinum sponsors. And I mean, just the guys at dive bomb have been been tremendous to DU and and they're a phone call away.
Jimbo Robinson:They sponsor our staff meeting this weekend, you know, part of our our gifts to the RDs this year. So it's just there's a lot that they've done and they filled a niche that we needed. And it's two components, two parts of Ducks Unlimited that just went together so well in our university program that's growing, you know, raising $4,000,000 I mean, everybody used to say they were the future generation and we call it the generation of now. It was something that actually Cody Stokes, the owner said last year, he like, man, these kids are today's leaders. Yeah.
Jimbo Robinson:Yeah. I'm like, yep. You're right. Yeah. So For sure.
Jimbo Robinson:Yeah. It's been awesome. Yep.
Matt Harrison:So y'all got any duck hunting plans this year? Any cool trips coming up? I know we've gotta host our annual one, and we're going on four years in a row of hosting the Barstool Ducks Unlimited Duck Hunt. We've gotta talk about that today at some point, but do y'all have any cool plans to chase some ducks outside of Africa?
Tim Wells:Well, Sydnie and I was talking about going to Alberta on the opener in September and shooting them with our bows this time. You know? And we're gonna go back to dive bomb and get on them mallards because Sydnie cut some video of, like, they were splashing poop in their face. They were so close.
Sydney Wells:We're going back with our bows, so like that's a must.
Matt Harrison:Yeah.
Sydney Wells:In Missouri, they're in our backyard, they're two
Nathan Divebomb:hours away, so it's great.
Sydney Wells:Last year was a phenomenal season for us. We lights out with Mallard.
Tim Wells:Sydney and I have a club in Illinois, and Yep. We've got 30 acres of flooded corn, and if it turns cold, it's game on because we're right up against a 6,000 acre lake and or no, 2,000 acre lake, but it holds a bunch of ducks when it's So Yeah. That's exciting.
Sydney Wells:So we'll hunt at home. We're gonna definitely hunt with the dive bomb guys. We're gonna do a couple more out of offices like we've done that. We did that last year. We brought we brought two amateurs.
Sydney Wells:Okay. One fell in with his waiters.
Matt Harrison:Oh, that was the best time.
Sydney Wells:We shot his first duck then fell in. So at least we shot his first duck, but
Tim Wells:The first day, they're not allowed to have shells in the gun.
Sydney Wells:So we're gonna be doing a lot of you know, I'm gonna go with Matt Judy into Washington State
Matt Harrison:doing some witching. Wigeon. Wigeon Whisper. Yeah. We're
Tim Wells:talking about that teal hunt again. That looked like it.
Sydney Wells:Yeah. We went to where'd we go? Utah
Matt Harrison:last Utah.
Sydney Wells:Yeah.
Matt Harrison:Great Salt Lake. That was probably the coolest experience. Like, going in on airboats, the mountains, the scenery, like, our whole layout of what we were hunting in. We were in coffin blinds.
Jimbo Robinson:Yeah.
Matt Harrison:When we got out there, you know, none of us had never done that, and then they start sticking these silhouettes up, and they just tuck you in behind them, we're like, like, what are we doing? And you're in this much of water, and it wasn't five minutes after we got laid down. There was groups
Sydney Wells:It was incredible.
Nathan Divebomb:To that that whole trip Were those green wings or
Matt Harrison:Green green winged teal.
Jimbo Robinson:Yeah.
Matt Harrison:That's all we shot that that those couple days.
Sydney Wells:And it was really interesting to see the Great Salt Lake, and I mean, it is, you know, I went in a drought Yeah. And it was interesting to see what DU's doing for
Matt Harrison:the 100 Great percent Salt for sure.
Sydney Wells:I'm more from the Midwest. We don't see that kind of stuff, so it was really eye opening, and it made us really appreciate what we got to experience because I'm like, man, with all the work DU's doing, we're we're trying to keep that around and hopefully our grandkids can see it
Matt Harrison:one day. Yeah. Had Karina Aybert join us to talk about the initiatives around Great Salt Lake and the whole nine, and it's really cool to see the work that DU's putting back in that area.
Jimbo Robinson:Great Salt Lake has become a focus recently.
Matt Harrison:Very much so.
Jimbo Robinson:And and so that's a cool place to go and and a great story to tell. Yep. Right? So that's that's awesome that y'all went. I remember everybody was watching y'all's y'all's videos because you two are always It's always always clowning.
Tim Wells:It was a good good hump for Matt because they came in big flocks. You just They did. You didn't have to pick one. You could just shoot.
Matt Harrison:Do you remember do you remember just those wads? I mean, it was groups of a hundred hundred green winged teal from here That's the kind of that screen.
Tim Wells:You could slock them arrow right
Matt Harrison:through the middle of wood. Yeah. And you remember not to throw Jack under the bus, but he struggled a couple of shots, and he was getting so mad.
Sydney Wells:He's getting
Matt Harrison:so mad. That that's a that's a theme for for Jack.
Tim Wells:For Jack.
Matt Harrison:That's a theme.
Sydney Wells:We always pick on Jack.
Matt Harrison:Once he got locked in, though.
Sydney Wells:Real real quick, though, too. We posted a picture of that hunt, and people were in the comments, Photoshop. Photoshop. Yeah. Know.
Tim Wells:Yeah. What? Of Jack with a deer a bucking a deer ducking.
Sydney Wells:No. Nine white socks, dude. Don't do that. Jack literally is up on these birds.
Tim Wells:Are you talking about Jack with your cameraman?
Sydney Wells:Yeah. Jack.
Jimbo Robinson:That's what
Tim Wells:I'm saying. If he's holding a duck in the picture,
Nathan Divebomb:they might have said he'd
Matt Harrison:Oh, yeah. She means there's a photo of Sydney, though, like, coming up out of her coffin blind, and there's a group of how many ducks?
Sydney Wells:Like, a 100. It's insane.
Matt Harrison:And it like, if you just looked at it, you would say, oh, 100% photoshopped AI. Like, because you've got, like, the blue sky. It was perfect scenery.
Sydney Wells:Like, shot one with your bow.
Matt Harrison:Oh, 100%. 100%. Percent.
Sydney Wells:So if you guys haven't seen that, make sure you go on Barcelo Outdoors, watch that hunt. It's incredible. You learn a lot too. Doctor was there too, and he is he calls him doctor doc or doctor doc.
Tim Wells:Doctor doc.
Matt Harrison:Isn't it?
Tim Wells:That's who he is.
Matt Harrison:Doctor doc.
Jimbo Robinson:That's Dennis Lees. Yep. He's here this weekend. Yeah. Hey.
Jimbo Robinson:So did the amateur fallen, did that happen at at Kings Bend?
Nathan Divebomb:The amateur fallen?
Jimbo Robinson:Yeah. She was talking about some of fall.
Matt Harrison:Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Nathan Divebomb:We had Large and Spider out there who they run the Rubins Racing, so all the NASCAR side of things. These two guys are just salty One to the
Sydney Wells:63154.
Matt Harrison:Yeah. I was gonna say 63 and 53, but, yeah, same thing. And and and Spider shot a beautiful
Nathan Divebomb:Gadwald Drake first duck, and he was he was holding up for the camera and talking a little bit about it, and he he stepped backwards and tripped over a cornstalk. I mean, his whole head went underwater.
Matt Harrison:I mean, he was under What a cold too.
Jimbo Robinson:Oh, it
Nathan Divebomb:was we were it was 10 degrees, 15 degrees. It was a it was not the time to fall.
Jimbo Robinson:We went up there last year in early November, and there wasn't a lot of water, but I thought there was enough. And so Nathan and Schuss and I made a bet with Cody Stokes and Or that they could run this mud motor out to the blind. In Arkansas, you can run them anywhere. Louisiana, like, that's the mud I'm thinking and I am guaranteeing this bet. And it was a very substantial bet that Cody Stokes made with us, and I am like dollar signs in my eyes.
Jimbo Robinson:So we tapped our expert public land duck hunter over there, boat extravaganza Nathan to drive this boat. Well, I'm in the blind. I stay back with the word because we couldn't all go to land together, and I hear the boat fire up, and it's going. And, man, you know you get that feeling when you hear something and you know they're stuck? It was like,
Matt Harrison:off the rev limiter. Oh, it was.
Jimbo Robinson:And we
Matt Harrison:got we got just outside of
Jimbo Robinson:the boat ditch, and as soon as
Matt Harrison:we got out the
Nathan Divebomb:boat ditch, it an inch and a half of water.
Matt Harrison:And it it was less about the boat being stuck, but that mud that it's a hard bottom. It's like concrete. That's what got us. Yes. There was nothing for that pop pop.
Jimbo Robinson:Suction cup Yeah. Yeah. And Stokes knew that. And Yeah. And man, he got us with that bet.
Jimbo Robinson:We lost
Nathan Divebomb:No wonder he made that bet.
Matt Harrison:I know.
Jimbo Robinson:He knew all
Matt Harrison:of it,
Jimbo Robinson:but it was so funny. And just listen to them talk about people falling in there. That place if that place could talk There there's a lot of good stories. There's always good stories. There's a lot of good stories.
Jimbo Robinson:Yeah. Yeah. That was a fun time. We had a great great hunt. Yeah.
Jimbo Robinson:Shot a lot of birds.
Tim Wells:The hunt I wanna do, I wanna go kill a a black mallard up in New York? On the coast, you know, up there somewhere. I've seen a booth cross the way here that they had the Black Mallard decoys, and I'm like, oh, I bet they guide for them, and they do. And I guess they got gangs of them up there. It's a sure thing.
Tim Wells:And then you can run to the coast and shoot hiders.
Matt Harrison:Yeah.
VO:Stay tuned to the Ducks Unlimited Podcast sponsored by Purina Pro Plan and Bird Dog Whiskey after these messages.
Matt Harrison:I've got one one little bone to pick about you guys with your bows and arrows and shooting ducks is is why did I have to be the arrow boy?
Jimbo Robinson:Were you
Matt Harrison:I mean I mean, after you shoot 60 flu flu arrows
Tim Wells:Oh, yeah.
Matt Harrison:Like, somebody's somebody's gotta go pick those out. Corn. That's why I like corn.
Jimbo Robinson:It's hard enough to find a dunk. The corn.
Matt Harrison:So
Tim Wells:Hey. Don't complain. If you wanna complain, go to Argentina's with us when we're doing a dove hunt. That's when you gotta get
Matt Harrison:The only iron. The only thing that saved me was finally we were just like, we gotta wait till it gets dark
Nathan Divebomb:and looking for these lighted knocks.
Matt Harrison:Was only way could in the ground.
Sydney Wells:This is why I lost Stokes though because Stokes was like, if I'm hunting, yeah, Nathan's calling and he's picking up the arrows, they kept saying, stop calling. Call 4. I was
Matt Harrison:like, this is fun. Was just I was just doing what I was told at that point. I I couldn't do anything right, but but they they were you guys hit a
Jimbo Robinson:few. Really?
Tim Wells:Yeah. Sydney made a big mistake. She took the wrong bow. She wasn't shooting enough speed, and so she was hitting the mallards, and my my broadheads are big wide cut, know, so they either knock you out of the sky or they bounce off, know, and she didn't have so when we come back we're gonna be bringing some velocity. Yeah.
Matt Harrison:Bring some velocity, sharpen those things up. I wanna see out there honing those blades a little bit. Yeah. Oh, yeah.
Sydney Wells:That's the hunt I'm most excited for. I honestly after going there last year, oh my gosh. You might have cut it right though
Tim Wells:because the wind was good and a new flight was coming in, but I guess they're always there,
Matt Harrison:Yeah. It's so we have the the two zero three that we do a lot
Nathan Divebomb:of our social media around and all that kind of stuff, that's a great farm, and and that's where we do most of our hunting. And then we have Kings Bend proper is what we call it, and we really don't hunt that very often. We pretty much
Matt Harrison:just let it sit, then we'll
Nathan Divebomb:use it for for media stuff. So when Sydney came through, was the first time it was hunted that year, and and it just so happened to be a a nice freeze up, and it was holding a good amount of birds. Yeah.
Sydney Wells:Yeah. Was pretty upset we made it in and out of office because Nathan and I were we didn't shoot
Matt Harrison:our kids. I was dying. I was like, we've gotta shoot these birds.
Sydney Wells:They were, like, 10 feet from us, miss. I'm like, oh
Tim Wells:gosh. Yeah. Yeah.
Matt Harrison:That's about, like, Feinberg and them. Oh, yeah. I'll never forget one more.
Sydney Wells:Cartoon where the guy when he's going rabbit hunting? Is that Elmer Fudd? Yeah. That's how our coworkers were shooting
Matt Harrison:their guns. Forget. We were we were at Casey and Schwartz, Bill Byers, and it was a cold, cold morning, and it was so cold, it was so funny. Right at light, there were birds everywhere. And Feitelberg was over there, or either it was Donnie or Donnie.
Matt Harrison:Donnie.
Jimbo Robinson:I think
Matt Harrison:it was Donnie. He was over there, he was like, I can't load my gun. My hands are and he's like, over here trying to put it in his shells.
Sydney Wells:Like, I'm like, This is the first time they've ever hunted too. So, like, that's the best part of the out of office, though. They've never duck hunted.
Matt Harrison:They don't
Sydney Wells:even know what duck hunting really entails, and now they're going back and telling all their friends how
Matt Harrison:much they love duck That
Jimbo Robinson:was when y'all did, like, the question and answer in their lobby. You know
Matt Harrison:what asking what kind of birds
Jimbo Robinson:it was?
Matt Harrison:Yeah. With the redhead and
Nathan Divebomb:all that stuff. Yeah.
Jimbo Robinson:Kason Kason's a great friend of ours, and and he'll be on tomorrow. Him and Brent Birch are coming down, but I got to go youth hunting with my son and and Mac and Byers, his boys and Ford, after y'all left, and I got to hear about some of y'all stories.
Sydney Wells:Oh, so
Matt Harrison:That was hilarious.
Sydney Wells:We're going on a dove hunt with dive bomb crew in Texas, and that's what I'm kinda nervous about because they're not gonna hit crap.
Matt Harrison:It's gonna be it's gonna be really fun. The the out of office idea was that did you come up with that, Sydney?
Sydney Wells:Yeah. Me and my old producer
Matt Harrison:show It's golden. It it is so smart, and it's so much fun to, like, just show new people what we do and get it out there, and it's just so relatable. That's what I love about the whole thing is you got people coming in, and this is a testament to Sydnie too and what she does, but bringing in people and not just showing them the side of hunting, also explaining and getting them involved with somebody like Ducks Unlimited and say, hey, we love to hunt, but here's why we love to hunt. We get to give back. Yep.
Matt Harrison:We're conservation focused. We're one foot in front of the other and putting back into what we love to do, and so not only are they getting their first experience of getting to chase ducks in Arkansas or somewhere like that, but also learning why we love it so much. And so that's one of my favorite things about the out of office is if you got people that have no clue Well totally fair about hunting.
Sydney Wells:A big shout out to y'all though because this is why I do a lot of the out of offices with Dive Bomb or Ducks Unlimited is because we wanna set them up for success.
Jimbo Robinson:For sure.
Sydney Wells:So if the next time they go, they're like, oh, wait. This doesn't suck though because I've been on a hunt where it was awesome.
Matt Harrison:For sure.
Sydney Wells:Because like they just take them to the farm, they might not be seeing anything.
Tim Wells:Slockmaster sucks. But Dave's been saying that for three years and he keeps coming back.
Sydney Wells:Yeah. Oh, man. We took two of our our coworkers deer hunting, and now one winter break for work, White Sox Dave has been going and hanging out with mom and dad at the farm that he's been trying to shoot a
Tim Wells:But in my defense, we even have video of him running down a field trying to chase a coyote with his bow, you know. So I mean, the technique might be part of the problem.
Jimbo Robinson:Well, the out of office is big. It's it's it's it's a big it's a big thing for not getting those those people out there, but it's where the core of relationships are made, and that's that's a lot what this weekend's about too, right? I mean, having people come in, sit down, becomes reunions for outdoorsmen all the time, and they get to see what we do, and it's so much fun, and that's where these stories are made. Yeah. But that's where a lot of collaboration happens too.
Tim Wells:Sydnie's group is And
Jimbo Robinson:so so you don't go all the time, get those opportunities to collaborate, and you you from their perspective. Our perspective is probably similar, but their perspective is a lot different. Yeah. And that's where the fun is made. They pick up on the small things.
Jimbo Robinson:Yeah. And that's what's so cool about what we do and and what we get to do.
Tim Wells:The cool thing about Barstool with Sydnie though is all her other friends that work there, when they bring when she brings them into the audience, their audience is so foreign to hunting Yep. And fishing And that's a good, you know, stigma that a lot of them just don't like us because we're killers, you know. But then when they realize, no, these people are about conservation and about making more animals and fish, oh, they're releasing those fish and they're laughing and they're having fun.
Matt Harrison:Yeah. They're
Tim Wells:with so and so, you know?
Matt Harrison:I think, I don't remember if it was large or spider, but they both were like, wait, you put in all this money just for the ducks? And we're like, well, yeah, that's that's the point. We're like, that's what we do.
Jimbo Robinson:Well, I mean, so we had the mayor here yesterday walking him around and giving him a tour, and when he walked in, you know, it was that moment of like, we we don't to us, we don't look at it as like, oh my gosh too. Other people, they're probably like, y'all are crazy. Yeah. 100%. Y'all do they walk in and like, yeah, that jacket's $600, and and, yeah, those waiters are $800.
Jimbo Robinson:Yeah. And Yeah. You kill a duck? Yeah. You do all this to go chase anything, duck, deer, I mean, It's so, yeah, you're right.
Jimbo Robinson:It's so far it's so foreign to them, but how many people you think you've introduced to the outdoors?
Sydney Wells:Oh. Well, if you bring the audience in
Matt Harrison:Yeah. Yeah. I would say aliens. You can't counter. You can't.
Matt Harrison:You can't.
Jimbo Robinson:What's really cool is is y'all can't see it. I can't. This view is kinda cool actually, by the way. But we've had two young girls walk by, and and they've stood there right behind that thing in the
Matt Harrison:front air to here.
Jimbo Robinson:It's been really neat to see when it's just Matt and I, people just pass by, to have somebody they can look up to has been really cool to watch their eyes glow seeing you sitting here, and I think one girl that's a to came
Matt Harrison:out an
Tim Wells:even eye.
Matt Harrison:Don't know
Jimbo Robinson:if that was
Nathan Divebomb:a problem. She
Jimbo Robinson:saw these two over here, it's it's it's really cool, so
Sydney Wells:I that's I love it. It's so much fun, and it's fun working at Barstool too because it is a completely different audience, brings in new perspective, and we just did a bass fishing tournament, and it was hilarious.
Nathan Divebomb:Yeah. Barbie really such a
Sydney Wells:great video. Of those guys have never fished before, some have, but, like, people wouldn't know. And the audience is like, wait. What's going on? What's a spawn?
Sydney Wells:Wait. Is this bad? What's happening?
Matt Harrison:The amount of people that didn't that had
Nathan Divebomb:never seen a flogger before,
Matt Harrison:you know, like the the spot the smallie spotters that, you know,
Nathan Divebomb:you can see underneath, like, that's a tournament thing that guys have been using for gosh knows how
Matt Harrison:long. He's like, y'all are y'all are using these big tube things to see down underwater? Like, yeah. That's part of it. Well, like,
Sydney Wells:now growing up, my dad's like, he would rather shoot he would rather watch me shoot a white tail than anybody, you know, than himself. And now I'm starting to get that perspective with, not Whitetail, but
Matt Harrison:I'm starting to get
Sydney Wells:that perspective with bringing my coworkers, that was so much more fun for me.
Tim Wells:Yeah. That was a funny show. If you haven't seen it, folks, you gotta watch it because she forced her her folks from the office to use Barbie reels, know. You got extra points if you caught a smallie on a Barbie doll reel or
Matt Harrison:Yeah. It was
Sydney Wells:some of the best fishing too on Lake Michigan. People were like, you can fish outside of Chicago?
Jimbo Robinson:Oh, yeah.
Tim Wells:There are skyscrapers right behind you while you're catching three pound smallies. That's pretty cool.
Matt Harrison:Yeah. That's awesome.
Jimbo Robinson:It is watching watching that those types of things and watching the excitement, and and, you know, I'm lucky enough he gets to watch you do it. I get to watch my son do it, and and I I've never thought that my mind would ever get there of like, I love to shoot and I love to to share in that, but then you do. You become that that you would rather your son shoot, as Matt alluded to earlier on a on a previous one, I carry the bag of snacks now. I forgot my gun opening day or some point last year, and it it was like, it didn't matter to me. Like, I didn't care that much watching Tripp get to do it, and now watching my daughter too, six years old.
Jimbo Robinson:She killed her first duck this year. Really exciting, and and and it took us a lot to get that that smiling Mallard, but that excitement is the same excitement you get with watching new people and the gleam in their eye, and it never gets old. Yeah. Never gets old.
Nathan Divebomb:Totally agree. Yep. Totally agree.
Matt Harrison:Well, thank all y'all so much for carving time out of your busy schedule. I know we have a lot going on. Know a lot of people wanna see you guys. Like Jimbo said, I've seen a couple walk by and said, what are the demos?
Jimbo Robinson:Yeah. There they are. I know. That's what's been going on.
Matt Harrison:So I know a lot of people are looking forward to meet y'all. Thank you so much, Nathan, Sydney, Jimbo, Michelle and Liam. Thank you.
Jimbo Robinson:The audience. This is live live on YouTube. So tell them how long y'all gonna here, kinda what your schedule is, what your schedule is so that if people are thinking about coming and they wanna come and hang out with y'all, what is
Tim Wells:it like? If you're in Alabama, you better hurry. We leave today at 04:00.
Matt Harrison:So you
Tim Wells:better hurry. Better hurry.
Sydney Wells:Yeah. If you're watching right now, we got, what, about two hours? So he's hanging out at Bass Pro, hanging out at Dive Bomb.
Tim Wells:Yep. One of our best friends.
Jimbo Robinson:What's this knife here? I I I'm seeing above you holding a knife. I'm a little nervous.
Matt Harrison:What we
Tim Wells:got here?
Sydney Wells:Okay. I gotta show this off because my good friends, MKC Montana Knife Company, here. I am so proud to work with them. I've been with them for four years. I just saw Brandon, so Brandon and Josh created MKC.
Sydney Wells:They are the best knives. I love them. I carry them on me all the time, but they have the mini speed goat. He actually just handed it to me. He's like, here, walk around with this and keep it.
Sydney Wells:I'm like, I will keep it. Somebody's gonna try to steal it from me.
Nathan Divebomb:I already
Matt Harrison:I already Well, she brought it over to me, she was holding it up like this. I've been asking her for months. Can you get me a can you get me a knife?
Sydney Wells:Yeah. It's super sharp, but
Matt Harrison:Yeah. Exactly. I got her. Exactly.
Tim Wells:Watch where you lay this, man.
Matt Harrison:Beautiful. Now. Well, I've been sitting above it
Jimbo Robinson:for the last thirty five minutes. Awesome. I like
Matt Harrison:the size of it. Yeah. It's I feel like
Sydney Wells:it's gunk. Three three inches, but Yeah. I carry one on me every single trip. I have a fillet knife. It's a hook collab fillet knife that I carry everywhere.
Sydney Wells:I always leave it, somebody has to ship it to me. But, no, they these are truly the best knives I've ever used, and I love them. And this is a great knife, like, Ramsay, fiance has this on his pocket on him on himself, on his body every day for work. Am I okay? No.
Sydney Wells:But
Tim Wells:Alright. You've already earned their $25. That was a nice.
Matt Harrison:Shameless plug.
Sydney Wells:He's such a brat. I love MKC though, so check him out. But I'll probably be hanging out in the dive bomb booth, so
Tim Wells:Yeah.
Sydney Wells:With this guy over here.
Matt Harrison:She'll be there. She'll be there for
Tim Wells:goldsteel.com. That's my 25. Okay.
Matt Harrison:Oh, me. Well, thank y'all y'all so much again.
