What is going on, everybody?

Welcome to the Clydesdale

Media Roundtable.

Got almost a full house today.

Do you notice in the theme

song it talks about

shooting your shot from long range?

And after our discussion

last week and Kat shooting a shot,

I was like,

isn't that uncanny that the

theme song talks about

shooting a shot from the long range?

The only thing changed was the game.

Sometimes you gotta shoot your shot.

miss all the shots you don't

take oh this is true I mean

I've been missing a lot of

shots I haven't taken so

this is going to be a quick

show today I have a one

o'clock meeting so so do i

I just got out of a meeting

and then we'll get into some other stuff,

but it's a,

it's like an all office meeting.

So I work for workforce development,

which is inside an agency, which is much,

much bigger.

So our office is like probably five,

six hundred people.

And we do like an all office

teams meeting.

It is the biggest bunch of

kiss asses I've ever seen in my life.

Those are the worst.

When you get in there and

then the chat's just like, oh,

that was an amazing presentation.

Do you get all like the

clappy hands and the hearts floating up?

And it's like the worst damn

presentation ever.

And they're like, oh, that was so good.

Thank you so much for the

resources and the blah, blah, blah.

And I just am, thank God, like,

that's the only reason we

don't have to be on camera.

I could not keep my poker face.

Yeah, high rolls.

little boxes it'd be like

you couldn't see anybody

you have so many people on

it so ours works where it

puts like twelve twelve on

the screen and then pages

and pages and there are

like a lot of the kiss

asses go on camera so that

they're seen during the

meeting doing their oh

you're so great uh uh

Kiss my ass.

And every time I think of

the Christmas vacation

where Chevy Chase is like, kiss my ass,

kiss your ass, kiss his ass,

kiss as the people are

funneling out of the meeting.

Isn't that why Corey gets on

your Wednesday show?

Pretty much.

Corey is the blah, blah, blah.

He's just my time filler.

You just pull that guy's

cord and let him go and he just

So that's the only reason I

do Wednesdays because like

I pull Corey's cord and

then I just let him talk

and I just sit back and relax.

I think I might need to

start jumping on that call.

You're always welcome, man.

Jay Burch coming in strong.

Oh, he says, I'm great.

Oh, just warms my heart.

Thank you, Jay Birch.

He asked me one question yesterday.

I talked for five minutes.

Yep.

Sounds about right.

That's how it works.

In Louisiana.

That's why I have Justin

Kotler on all the time.

Pull the string.

Let him go.

Now, if you put decks on,

you pull the string,

and you might as well just

shut your mic off for too long.

Right.

He's the best.

That boy can talk.

Maybe he's always like long story short.

What?

Yeah.

Longer.

Are we going to talk about the open?

Sure.

Has anybody looked up my stats?

I have not.

Did you get.

I got a bear crawl.

Yep.

You got a bear crawl.

I got a bear crawl Monday morning.

Yeah.

One arm bear crawls.

No,

I was able to like put my fingertips on

the ground on this side.

Look, this is all I got right now.

Stitches right here.

And look at my range of motion.

I can,

I can pretty much almost straighten

it and I can bend it pretty far.

I did a ring rose today.

What the people want to know

is can you wipe yet?

Oh gosh.

Yeah.

I took a shower yesterday

for the first time where I

could get my arm wet for

the first time in three weeks.

That's great.

Well, I was taking baths and,

Wrapping this up and all

kinds of other stuff.

But the peptides I'm taking,

I guarantee you are helping

me because the surgeon said

when I saw him last Friday, he's like,

I've never seen anyone have

such good range of motion nine days out.

Wait a minute.

I'm like, it's.

And you're doing like BP one five seven.

BCP one five seven in the TV

five hundred cocktail,

the Wolverine cocktail,

they call it directly into

like as close to my shoulder,

the elbow as I can get.

every day wow I've heard

like killer talks about it

big time with his wife and

the surgery she had that

they did the peptides and

it just it accelerated her

recovery so much yeah I

actually asked I actually

sent him a text because my

son was the one that told

me like how to reconstitute

the the powder that I got

when I ordered it and

everything else because he's sort of my

chemist guru.

And yeah,

he knows all about the dosages

and whatnot.

But I did run it by Hiller too.

Like I sent him a text and I was like, Hey,

I'm doing, you know,

BPC one fifty seven or whatever.

I said,

my son said to start with ten units

and build up to twenty.

He said, no, just do twenty.

I was like, OK, so I'm doing twenty.

Like Jamie says,

Kat's about to get booted

off the leaderboard.

I know it's OK.

That one bear crawl is really messy.

I don't know.

I actually don't think,

I don't know if those two

peptides are illegal or not.

I don't think they are.

I'm sure they are.

I think they are.

Really?

Yeah.

They're for recovery.

They're not for like.

So they're not illegal for

like just general Joe

public to just take.

But I think in a sports sense, they are.

Darn it.

Andrew Sten says,

are the peptides expensive?

I actually priced them on one site,

but go ahead, Kat, you paid for them.

Yeah,

I thought about six hundred dollars

worth and they should last

me maybe six weeks.

So, yeah, they're pretty, pretty pricey,

probably about a hundred bucks a week.

You probably could have went

somewhere and got them cheaper.

Well, I mean, it was online.

I went to like Amino USA or

Amino Asylum or one of those places.

Yeah, whatever.

I'm barely on there now anyway.

Catherine,

you have been removed from the

GHE leaderboard due to admitted drug use.

Yeah, I know one five seven,

I think they tried to ban

and I thought it went

through and then it got

revoked because you can

actually go to like legit

companies in this country and buy it.

Yeah.

You don't have to like go

through China or whatever.

Yeah, no, I'm getting it.

I'm getting it here, but it's still all of,

I mean,

the labels still say like for

research purposes only.

Oh yes, of course.

I don't know.

If it helps me just get back

into my normal routines, I was gonna,

I wish I had worn a tank top.

The difference in my

shoulder development from

one side to the other is

like so noticeable because

I've been working out like the last week,

just the last four days,

but doing all kinds of like

single arm bench press, single arm

all kinds of shit.

And so it's like,

I have like this boulder

shoulder and then like, it's so sad.

And what hurt me the most today, what,

what hurt me the rest,

the most today was actually running.

Like running hurt my elbow.

Like, like the,

this does Charlie know he's not on mute.

No, I know.

You go with the place.

Sorry.

Yeah.

So anyway,

Things are good.

I went four days this week to work out.

I worked out four times this week.

Jodi just noticed a single cat.

It's how we all know.

All right.

So let's get into it.

In a committed relationship.

Just wait.

Yeah.

I don't know.

So I went on date number four,

first date number four with

this guy who was a grownup.

Um, like had a shit together,

the back surgery guy,

the guy that had back surgery.

So we were joking about how, like,

you know,

he'd cut my meat and I have to

help him get out of the chair.

And we went to a really nice bar up in, uh,

up in a town just north of

me and had a really nice time.

Um,

he bailed after an hour and a half

because he had to get his dogs walked,

but said he wanted a second date.

And I was like, okay, cool.

He walked me to the car.

He gave me a hug.

I texted him when I got home, you know,

told him like,

it was really nice to meet

him looking forward to number two.

And he's like, yeah,

it was really refreshing to

meet you looking for number two, you know,

can't wait to see you again, whatever.

So that was Thursday night

and I went away over the

weekend and I just sort of

casually kept in touch with him,

but nothing really serious.

And then because the plan was, you know,

let me know when you're

home and we'll plan

something for next week.

So I get home and, you know,

send him a text, told him, you know,

that I was back, whatever.

And, um, he was like,

I'm just getting into bed.

Can we talk about next weekend tomorrow?

And I was like, sure.

So I was already getting like the vibes.

And so he didn't text me

back that whole next day.

And I was like, I'm not texting him.

This is ridiculous.

Um, and then the next day,

I guess it was Tuesday.

I finally was like,

I just sent him a note and I was like,

Hey, listen,

I'm getting the vibe that you

do not want a second date.

So could you just please like,

give me some clarity and

let me know what's happening here.

And he was like, oh, I'm sorry.

I just don't think I'm ready

to date right now with my

injury because he can't

drive for like two weeks or whatever.

And, you know, he's like,

it's probably just not a

good time for me.

I think you're great,

but I'm just not ready to

be in a relationship.

I was like, OK,

who said anything about a relationship?

But and dude, you're on a dating app.

Why are you on a dating app?

You don't want to be dating anyone.

So anyway,

that was there will not be a

second date with Mr. Back injury.

And the funnel is full,

but no more first dates

planned as of this moment.

And so you've been sharing

with the text group.

just the hilarity that is uh

the dating apps world and

the some of the how do I

the balls that some men

have in what they post and

what they want in a woman

is is shocking to me as

someone who has not been

out in that game for a very

long time like there were

there were no cell phones

there were no apps when the

last time I was dating

It is insane to me what men

think they can demand of a

woman on a dating app.

It's crazy.

It's the wild west out here for sure.

I've been coming up with names for people.

There's this one guy,

I call him breadcrumb guy

because he'll text me once

and I'm super interested in meeting him.

in a way just based on his

profile and so far what

we've talked about,

but he'll like text me once

I'll text him back.

And then like,

it'll take three days before

he responds to me again.

And then I'll text him back

and then it'll be like

another two or three days.

And he just says like, Oh,

I'm really busy.

You know, if I'm going to date you,

I can probably only see you

like once a week.

And I'm like,

this is code for I'm married probably,

or I'm in a relationship.

Um,

but I'm sort of keeping him on the back

burner just to talk to him.

I mean, we're not, we're not,

we just don't plan anything.

And then I'm talking to this

other kid who's like, forty three,

a younger man,

but he's got kids that are like,

nineteen and seventeen.

So, like, he's sort of missing.

Twenty eight.

Right.

Forty three is not bad.

No, but I know.

But it seems like, you know, forty eight,

forty three.

So, yeah, this forty three year old.

But I don't know.

He, like, lives in an apartment.

I don't know.

I think I want somebody that, like,

has a house, probably.

if he went he's got those

age kids he probably got

taken to the cleaner oh

well no he got a divorce

like eight years ago and he

said his wife remarried

after a year so I don't

think he did get taken to

the cleaners he still has

the uh the kids to take

care of though right a

seventeen year old and a

kid in college so uh

understand says dating when

you're older sucks

Yeah.

And I've started to like,

just cast a wider net.

Like I'm talking to this guy right now.

I live in like Alexandria, Virginia.

It's like an hour and a half south of me.

I'm like, whatever.

My ex husband met his future

wife and she lives two

hours away from him.

Jay Birch, when I dated my wife,

we talked on the landline

long distance for six hours one time.

My bill was like two hundred dollars.

That was years ago.

One of the long cords that

reached from the kitchen to

the bed to the.

Yeah.

Yeah,

we had we had a cord that went could

reach the entire house.

And you'd be sitting like on

a chair in the living room

and my mom would walk by

and playing like it would

go off your forehead and.

Do you remember when you'd

have to unplug it from the

phone to like untwist it?

Cause if we get all twisted

up and you'd have to like undo it.

Yeah.

Yeah.

I had, what's my limit on distance?

Andrew wants to know.

I don't, I don't know.

I don't care.

Like I'm so flexible.

I don't mind traveling and stuff.

And I don't need to be like

living with some guy tomorrow.

Like we could,

I would much rather go on

like one date a week for

like two months to really

get to know somebody.

Then like see them talk to them all day,

every day for two weeks.

And then.

realize a month later,

they've got eighteen red

flags that I missed because

I've done that before.

Oh, my gosh.

Our cat's growing up.

Right.

Exactly.

I want to take it slow.

I definitely take it.

And the guy, the young guy,

like I've been I talked to

him all day yesterday and I kept saying,

like, cool,

this seems like when can we meet?

And he's like, oh, patience.

You know,

I need to get to know you better.

I'm like, what?

no,

I don't want to get to know you better

over the phone.

Cause you're going to like me.

And then I'm going to meet

you and I'm going to be like,

not attracted to you.

And then I'm going to have to tell you,

I don't like you anymore.

And anybody can make

themselves sound good when

you have like five minutes

to think of a response.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Like you want that in person

back and forth.

Like what is their true personality?

And you just need to, I need to know like,

How does somebody walk?

How do they talk?

Like, what are their mannerisms?

Like all those things come

into play when you're like

in a relationship with somebody.

And I just, you can't get that over text.

Yeah.

So we'll see.

Yeah.

But I've been,

I've literally gone out

every night this week just to be in the,

cause again, like in the wild,

I really would prefer to

meet somebody in real life.

But, um, like I went out Sunday night,

Monday night with my girlfriend, Alison.

Oh, Monday was St.

Patrick's day.

So we went out early and

then I had dinner with

Eliana and her boyfriend

down at the university.

Then Tuesday night,

I went out with Allison

again and we went to this bar by a hotel.

And I was like,

this is probably not the

place to be going to.

Cause you're going to run

into a whole bunch of guys

that are like traveling, you know?

And I don't need that either.

And we did start talking to

these two guys at the bar,

but they were both married.

And like,

we had a really nice conversation,

but we weren't like trying

to hit on them or anything.

Um,

We were actually joking

about how we were single

and they were laughing at us.

Uh, Chelsea says,

and they have chat GPT now

to think of a response for them.

Um, and Corey goes,

and you know how they smell

when you meet them in person.

Yeah.

Yes.

And that's, that's actually a thing.

I remember, God,

I remember when I was like

probably in my early

twenties and I met this guy

and he had this odor about him that like,

it wasn't like, it wasn't like gross BO.

It was just like some,

I don't know if it was his

cologne or like his

deodorant or something.

It was disgusting.

I couldn't even deal with it.

And Craig says,

you can also see how they

treat other people in person.

Super, super important.

So yeah.

So lots of chitty chat on the phone,

but no actual meeting up with people.

And then the one guy that I

was going to meet up with,

his ex-wife was like a

member at my gym and we didn't know it,

but we found out.

And then I was like, dude,

there's some girl code there.

I can't do that.

And he was like, well, are you sure?

I was like, yes, I'm sure.

Like I can't.

And he's still texting me, but I'm just,

I'm like, we can be friends,

but we are not going to be

in a relationship.

I think the gym is, sorry, Charlie,

go ahead.

I was saying your current

gym or your old gym?

Well, I don't have a current gym.

The gym that I own, they were,

she and the new boyfriend

were members at my, at my gym.

And the whole scene went down like, like,

like, like, like, like, like, like, like,

like, like, like, like, like, like,

and he still talks about it

like it happened yesterday.

And I'm like, you're not healed yet.

from all that so I'm doing

really good at discerning

things I feel like and I'm

not being like impatient

and I'm not like just

forgetting about my

standards to not be alone

so I'm proud of myself for

that good for you okay therapy cat so

We're going to put a poll out on it, on my,

on the Clydesdale media,

Instagram cat's thinking

about doing a weekly show

or just whenever you feel

like it show about dating and, um,

she's coming up with a

premise and a name.

We're going to put it out there to see if,

is it something you guys

would be interested in?

And, uh,

so look for that poll on

Clydesdale media's Instagram.

Yeah.

And I'll take name suggestions too.

And no one slid into my DMS from last week,

by the way.

Nobody.

But I did,

I did meet a guy on the dating

apps that is a CrossFitter,

but he lives in like Jersey.

So he's pretty far away from me and he has,

we now follow each other on

Instagram and like we've chatted briefly,

but like, I don't,

there's not really a connection there,

but he's a nice guy.

We talk CrossFit.

So that's kind of cool.

That's cool.

You're already getting an F

yeah from Corey and Chelsea says, do it.

It'll be fun.

Corey,

sign me up for midlife dating with Kat.

There's a title suggestion title.

There you go.

You get no royalties though, Corey.

So one of the big news items in CrossFit,

I do want to get your

guys's opinion on is that

they are up for sale.

Um,

They made an announcement.

There have been all these

rumors that they already

were talking to some

companies about buying the company.

And they are a private company.

They do not need to announce anything.

The fact they are tells me

that they are either trying

to up the bid and get some

competition on the bid,

or they're looking for

somebody else other than

the company they've talked to.

so when they made the

announcement dawnfall went

out sent emails to all

affiliate owners they had a

town hall the whole bit

someone from the sports

world uh uh olympic gold

medalist sean johnson uh

posted this to her story

and this is actually a

screenshot from known and

knowable who took a

screenshot of her story so

it's a screenshot of a

screenshot of a screenshot

But it says, dear CrossFit community,

we are in talks to bring

together an ownership group

to buy what we think is an

incredible organization and

system that has changed our

lives and the lives of many

others for the better.

We've been to affiliates

across the country and

across the world and think

that supporting these

eleven thousand business

owners is the missing piece

to tapping into the full

potential of what this

wonderful community has to

offer and is the best way to support

the millions of athletes

involved in the movement more to come.

So that is her only statement.

Um, if you watch the tea, uh,

talking elite fitness podcast,

Lauren alludes to,

she's talked to people in

this group and they want to

remain anonymous at the time.

Um, but she would not,

of course would not name any names.

Um,

It's going to be interesting

to see if this is a real bid.

Whenever this happens in sports,

and I'm sure Charlie can

back me up on this,

you always have the

athletes that jump in and

try to get the groups to

buy an NFL team or buy an

NBA team or whatever.

A-Rod has done it,

and Magic Johnson has done it,

but those are more

exceptions than the rule.

um so it'll be interesting

to see what she can do if

you look at her instagram

uh yeah I mean how much

money are we talking about

uh so it sold for two

hundred million in twenty

oh it's pretty penny let's

buy it then yep so this is

her instagram um um she has

four point three million followers

on Instagram so her just

putting that out to that

community is a huge I think

a huge boost to CrossFit in

in some kind of way nobody

in the CrossFit space has

that many followers um so

it's interesting that she

did that and she put that

out there I think that is a

at the very least a good

thing for the sale of

CrossFit that she's kind of endorsing it.

And if you look through her Instagram,

it's,

she doesn't like post workout videos,

but she has a garage gym for sure.

That is, it has a C two bike in it.

It has a,

a rig and a rack and a lot of

Olympic lifting weights.

So you can tell that she's

doing something.

Her husband was a long snapper in the NFL.

So he was also an athlete at

one time as well.

Um, you know, I think, um,

my theory is it's going to

be some combination of, um,

someone like her,

like a celebrity person.

Um,

but I also would not be surprised if

two brain and or street

parking were involved in, like,

if they decided to split it

up between like affiliate

education and sport, um,

I mean, Miranda could afford it.

Probably.

Yeah.

She's they're loaded.

Street parking is like insanely loaded.

And I got two brain, you know,

Chris Cooper's got, you know,

the respect of all the

different affiliates and things.

I just, it's just a hunch.

I just wouldn't be surprised

if those two names popped up.

And it was kind of ironic

that he was on the talking

elite fitness show the day

they were talking about the

Sean Johnson stuff, but

Yeah,

they've got money and they've got

respect in the community,

and I wouldn't be surprised

if they were part of it.

Well,

he posted something on CrossFit's

site in the comments

section when they made the announcement,

very lengthy about what

would be required of the

new ownership to make it possible.

I have yet to read.

I need to go back and read it.

It's just been a busy, busy week for me.

Yeah.

Yeah.

um but check that out but

jay birch thinks that

charlie's skeptical

skeptical of sean johnson's

uh pitch yeah I mean I'm

sure they've got money but

yeah two hundred millions

do you think it was a way

for her to advertise that

she was interested and that

maybe she could garner some

financiers to help her with

it yes yeah she could be

she'd be like the face of it but

I think that's I think she

would be the face and she's

just fundraising yeah yeah

but good for her if you do

at least it'd be somebody

who knows what crossfit is

at least it's not sean

white yeah yeah scott sent

us something in the group

chat this morning he's like

sean johnson I'm like oh

the redheaded skateboarding

snowboarding dude he's like

no no he's probably

Do you remember his role in

Friends with Benefits?

Yes.

When he was like the douchey

ex-boyfriend of Mila Kunis.

That's great.

Craig says it's athlete plus

financial backing partners.

Yes.

That's what all of those are.

Like Magic Johnson made a

lot of money in the NBA,

but he did not make...

Who's the guy that took the

Washington football team?

The guy that he partnered

with has way more money

than he ever thought of having.

You don't think Ben Bergeron

and Brooks Lake would... Oh, please no.

Okay, I'm just saying.

Because Craig was asking who

would be the ideal athlete besides Tyson.

I think he's meaning Tyson, Tyson Bajan.

My guy, my twin, Damon John,

he's got the money for it.

Why isn't he buying?

got he owned an affiliate

yeah somebody said tom

brady in the chat tom brady

bought noble right or is a

huge investor he bought

noble yeah and he

apparently I know corey

corey's like cat don't even

finish that sentence

So, Craig, I mean, I hate to disappoint.

Like, I'm a big Baygent fan.

I'm a big Chicago Bears fan.

He does not have the cachet

to pull in investors as a

backup quarterback in the NFL.

Not right now, no.

think shawn johnson is

actually a better option

she does gymnastics that is

actually an element in the

sport um of crossfit and

correlates much better and

like there are famous

crossfitters out there like

michael b jordan has said

he's done crossfit so to

train for creed and seth

rollins kevin hart

sure there's a lot of

celebrities she could pull

in there's the guy from um

new girl uh always pull out

um vince mcmahon there you

go vince mcmahon has come

back I'm buying crossfit

Anyway,

I just thought that was interesting.

It's going to be a fun thing to watch.

Hopefully something.

I think there's been

negotiations in place

before this was announced.

So my bet is we hear

something before the games.

I know that some other

people don't think it will

take that long or that

it'll take longer than that.

But I think that they've

been talking to people

before the announcement was made.

I feel like Rich could do it.

He could find a group.

Probably.

So he's, he is,

there's speculation that he

is part of that group that

was negotiating a deal

before the announcement was made, uh,

with the European B sport

company that owns Northern spirit and, um,

hustle up the app.

The whole Matt Souza theory.

Yeah.

Yeah.

That's interesting.

Rich was meeting with them

the week before Sousa announced that.

And Rich was actually in the

chat when Sousa was breaking it all down,

which made it for an

interesting conversation.

I wonder, though,

was Rich just working with

them for apparel for his

competition to the Mayhem comp?

The way he was talking,

it seemed more than that.

Did it?

Yeah.

Well,

and I think they were looking at

putting the Mayhem

programming on Hustle Up.

And moving it from whatever

the one is that everybody uses here.

I can't.

Modify beyond the whiteboard.

One of those.

No, it's bigger than that.

Like, like it holds programming.

Sugar.

Sugar.

Okay.

Are we done?

Are we done with this category?

Sure.

Is Amanda Barnhart and

Jessica Griffith selling

the same program?

Because they both call it the same thing.

Light intensity interval training lit.

And I don't know if they're

collaborating or not.

Someone needs to tell me.

If not, they're ripping each other off.

Isn't Amanda pregnant?

Yes.

Yes.

I don't know about the lit program.

Do a little digging on

Instagram and tell me what you think.

Cause I feel like they're

selling the same thing.

It's like the CrossFit light.

Craig says yes.

Okay.

They've never actually,

I don't feel like they've

ever actually come out and said like, Hey,

we're working together.

They just kind of do it

separately in their own little silos,

which was weird to me.

Yeah.

There's that.

And did you see that Kelsey

Keel is doing grid?

I did.

That's cool.

I'm excited for her.

She's awesome.

Yeah.

They were giving John young

crap last night because

he's on a grid league team and,

and him and Kelsey both

were trained under coach L

at brute for a minute and

that he didn't get her to

come to their team.

She's in on another team.

They were giving him crap about that.

So does that mean she has to,

she's moving to Florida temporarily,

like for the season?

So if you remember, um,

Jesse that worked for us at

the games a couple of years ago,

her first year in the grid,

she traveled every weekend.

Oh, okay.

But, but I,

but they're still down there primarily.

Aren't they like South Florida?

Yeah.

But like, they don't do a lot of, um,

they don't do a lot of

practices like during the week.

You just do your training

regimen that you're given.

Okay.

So she could live anywhere.

And then Jesse would fly

down for the matches and,

Oh,

when she was in Massachusetts or

wherever she was.

Correct.

Got it.

Well, I mean,

technically Kelsey could move, I guess,

because her man's in San

Francisco right now playing

some baseball.

Yeah, he hasn't made the big show yet.

He's still in the minors, right?

No, I think he's in the big leagues.

Okay.

I thought he was.

Well,

she's been living in Columbus in his

offseason.

Okay.

Maybe that's probably where he's from.

I don't know if she's back

in Philly or not.

Yeah,

they have something here in Columbus now.

Okay.

Because if you see some of

her Instagram posts,

they're at CrossFit Grandview.

Got it.

Okay, Andrew,

thank you for that clarification.

Amanda and Jessica, working together.

Okay.

Get lit.

There it is.

Yeah.

My lit pro getting lit

program was way different

than about twenty years ago.

I ran in, ran into a guy on St.

Patrick's Day that is really

big into like wine and

liquor distribution in the state.

And he's now they're selling

alcohol that has THC in it.

Oh, yeah.

Is that like a thing?

Oh, yeah.

Yeah, okay.

That was news to me.

I hadn't heard.

Why you got to mess with a good thing?

Like, good cold beer just tastes good.

Why do we got to add shit to it?

A good glass of bourbon tastes good.

Stop adding shit to it.

And I haven't even had a drink in a year,

but still.

It's all about innovating.

I had a...

I had my first Red Bull ever

this weekend when I went to

my friend's house down the beach for St.

Patrick's Day festivities,

and I had a Red Bull and something.

It's pretty good.

Very sweet.

It was an alcoholic beverage.

I was like, you had an RBV?

Yeah.

It was like an orange crush,

but it had Red Bull in it, I guess,

instead of Sprite, maybe.

Mm-hmm.

It was interesting, but I was good though.

My friends day drink like

from one o'clock until nine o'clock.

And I think I had two drinks

the whole time and they had

like eight hundred.

So it's funny.

Julie and I go on vacation.

We'll day drink and then we

have to take a nap before

we go out for the evening.

Yeah.

We were in bed by like nine

o'clock both nights.

Can't drink all day unless

you start in the morning.

So true.

You're not even like a big drinker,

Charlie.

No.

Like when you do,

like you can go if you want to go.

I'll get after it if I need to.

But like in all the years I've known you,

very rarely have I even seen you drink.

Yeah, that's like me.

I'm not a big drinker either.

Like on your fortieth birthday,

your wife got drunk.

You were sober.

Yeah.

And that's probably why because I was like,

well,

I guess I'm shutting this party down.

You got to take care of my girl.

Maybe sit in the booth.

That's another thing that

I've explained to boys that

I'm talking to is that like

a drunk date is the biggest turnoff ever.

The biggest.

Charlie's wife,

then on his fortieth birthday,

we were walking down the street.

She jumped into a gym to do burpees.

Yeah.

While drunk.

Twenty four hour fitness.

And then came back.

Now I'm ready to go.

Let's go.

I'm like, this is why.

oh speaking of burpees so I

clicked another guy that

I'm talking to told me that

he found out I did crossfit

he's like oh I used to work

with a personal trainer and

he would bring in crossfit

elements to our workouts

and we used to do burpees

all the time and I'm pretty

sure that's why I needed

shoulder surgery on both of

my shoulders and I was like

I'm sorry what

And I wrote him back and I said,

you've got to be joking.

There's no way that burpees

cause you to need shoulder surgery.

And then he explained to me

the way he did burpees.

And he said that he would go

from a standing position to

a plank position and then

go down into the push and come off.

And I'm like,

so you're standing up and you

just go into a plank.

And I was like, first of all,

that's not a burpee.

Second of all,

you should fire your personal trainer.

And he said, well,

he's now in school administration.

So that tracks.

I was like, dude,

he told me that he was so,

he was so proud of himself.

He was like, Oh yeah.

Burpees.

That's the reason why I had

shoulder surgery.

I'm like, are you kidding me?

You don't do CrossFit.

So really it was pushups.

Really?

Yeah.

It was, it was like high impact planks.

Yeah.

I mean, good Lord.

Yeah.

Red flag, red flag, red flag.

Yeah, he's off the roster.

All right, guys.

Well,

I have to get to this one o'clock

meeting.

But man, this is fun.

Yeah, good time as always.

So we will see everybody

next time on the Clydesdale media.

Hey,

and if you haven't signed up for the

bracket challenge, do so.

You might've missed a game
